We had the whole chicken with garlic bread, rice and potatoes and everything was delicious! Good sized portions and the sauces were pretty good too. The service was also super welcoming and nice, we will be back next time we are in Ancaster

Try this place if you enjoy "well done" chicken. See picture. The worker tried to hide the burnt chicken by flipping it all over on the serving plate. Complained about it, and I just got a shrug. "It's only a little burnt."
I had the pleasure of eating lunch at Galito’s recently, and I must say, it was an absolutely fantastic experience! From the moment I walked in, the warm and inviting atmosphere set the tone for an unforgettable meal. Craig, had a friendly demeanor, attentiveness, and engaging conversation. It’s rare to find someone so passionate and professional – Craig was simply amazing! Now, let’s talk about the food – WOW! The flamed chicken was perfection: juicy, flavorful, and cooked to absolute excellence. Every bite was packed with that smoky, chargrilled goodness that you can’t get enough of. It’s clear the chefs here know their craft. If you’re looking for incredible food, outstanding service, and a place where you’ll leave with a smile, Galito’s is it. I’ll definitely be coming back, and I highly recommend asking for Craig if you want an exceptional experience. Don’t hesitate – this is the spot to be!
The owner had a very good service mind. It was the first time for the four of us to visit the restaurant, but he carefully explained the menu to us. We ate inside the restaurant, and he recommended sauces and recommended ways to eat, so we enjoyed our meal until the end. Of course, the chicken was delicious. We will definitely visit the restaurant again.
I drove to get some quality chicken from Brantford, since this is the closest location. The chicken was flavorful and nice and moist. We got 2 flavors; spicy honey garlic and lemon herb mild spice option. My favorite was the spicy honey garlic, but my wife preferred the mild lemon herb for the more pronounced grilled taste. The fries are nicely seasoned and if you like something more than just plain white rice, then you will appreciate the peri rice. Only have a couple of small issues, one of which is with the dry bread sticks. I could chalk it up to the fact they were no longer fresh when I got home and should have popped them in the microwave for 20sec. That being said, there wasn't much of any sort of flavor to speak of and they were rather plain overall. I would have also liked to see a more sauced chicken experience. The Galito's we used to go to sauced their chicken to the point you could grab the chicken or bread sticks and dip them into the leftover chicken sauce/juices. I miss that. Next time I'll ask to have it extra saucy and see what happens. Until then it's a solid 4/5 from me.
New place in the block. Very receptive owners and staff. They were kind enough to let dine in, as they were about to close. The road works may have a a negative temporary impact, but we wish him long and lasting success. The chef inquirer about our food multiple times, ensuring every thing is as desired.
My friend and I recently dined at Galito's and were amazed by the food and the exceptional service. We ordered the chicken wrap, beef burgers, and grilled chicken, each surpassing our expectations with their perfect seasoning and flavors. Beyond the delicious food, what made our experience truly memorable was the staff. They were amazing and helpful, guiding us through the menu and ensuring we had everything we needed. We left completely satisfied, already looking forward to our next visit!

Dined at Galito s Ancaster location with my family. The food , service and atmosphere were excellent. The owner was there and helped with the menu and made wonderful recommendations. We will definitely will be going back there again

This newly opened restaurant in the Ancaster area left me wanting more! I ordered the Peri Peri Chicken Sandwich with some Peri Peri fries that were coated with their house seasoning, and it was delicious. I would definitely recommend trying out this place. And I sure as heck am coming back for another taste!
Amazing food great service
I would recommend this place the service was beyond expectations me and my 3 other friends came to try this new location of Galito s as we were near by , and we were stunned that for a fairly smaller place it is better than the ones in peel region in terms of food quality and service.They were very happy to help whenever we needed food portions were good, service was excellent , no attitude from restaurant staff.Hope it keeps up to be like that.

Just had our first meal here and loved it. The 1/4 Chicken dinner with personal choice of Piri Piri rice and Cole Slaw. Husband had Chicken Skewer and Fries with Seasoning. The food was very flavourful fresh and hot (heat hot). The staff were very friendly and walked us through the menu and made sure we ordered according to our spice tastes. Pricing is reasonable as well. We will be back!
Excellent food here. Staff was very courteous and had good onowledge of the menu. Various levels of spiciness available. We had the mild chicken and fries as well as, the chicken strips and fries. They were both different from what you may expect but exploding with flavour! Overalll, it was a great experience.
I was skeptical of this restaurant as the reviews were all 5 stars. However, the food here is very good. Chicken was hot and flavorful, and prices were fair. Would definitely come here over Toma La.

I ve tried almost everything on the menu, everything tastes great. The staff are all friendly. The chicken can be a little messy, so my favourite order is chicken strips on rice with mayonnaise.

It was by chance that we wanted to try this newly opened branch of Galitos in Ancaster. We weren t expecting it to beat its competitor (Nandos). The food was super delicious, well cooked and upto the mark. The portion size are HUGEEEE! We literally had to pack away some for next day. Their service is amazing, Greg was an amazing server and he made sure we felt like celebrities. Thankyou once again for such an amazing feast and hospitality. I would go againn this week

Galitos Restaurant and the customer service was fantastic! My recent visit left me extremely impressed. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted by the staff and felt welcomed! The highlight of the meal was undoubtedly the Galitos Peri-Peri Chicken tender, and bursting with flavor from the perfectly balanced peri-peri marinade. With crispy peri-peri fries and their garlic bread, each dish was fresh and according to taste. Would highly recommend dining in or getting take out!
I visited for lunch and left extremely satisfied. The portions were generous and the food was made fresh. The chicken marinade had the perfect blend of seasonings and paired very well with their rice and fries. Overall, a great place for dine in/ takeout!

Such a great welcoming space. The staff went above and beyond to cater to each of our individual needs. The boneless chicken breast pieces were very tender and juicy and marinated to perfection.I ordered rice as my side and it was delicious on its own. The peri poutine was beyond amazing. Kudos to the owner and the great staff for making our experience memorable. Will definitely be visiting again soon.

We had an amazing experience at Galitos Ancaster. The service was very good, the owner is so nice , my picky kid doesnt want the sauce in her plate so they change it and doesnt want me to pay for a new one, then she found her chicken spicy so they brought her an sole more without any spice . They were very attentive to our needs and I like this too notch service, better then some 5 stars restaurants.

This place just opened up and I was lucky enough to eat there on the first day. I highly recommend it. The flavors are punchy, and food fresh. The team is very friendly and service was excellent. Gives the other peri peri chicken spot a run for its money! I will definitely be back many times!
