Great busy spot in a good location. Weve been making this location our go to for their Thursday half off wings but the quality has gone down. Wings werent crispy nor did they look properly fried. Had a couple questionable undercooked pieces with jelly like texture. Was told that it happens when you bite in a vein. To be fair they were busy and the manager did give me half a fresh batch. Hopefully they can make the adjustments they need to. Will give them another chance just not anytime soon.

Balsamic chicken was terribly over cooked - like shoe leather, and over seasoned with so much pepper it was dreadful. Server was very nice; not her fault the food was bad. Typical cafeteria atmosphere. Enormously disappointed, went home and made ramen noodle soup

I show up weekly on Thursday afternoons and my visits are always top notch. The service from Jen and Alisha is always very professional and enjoyable and the wings are great. I always look forward to my experience at Kelseys. Thanks for putting up with me. Ed Gammage

Went for dinner last night as a party of 7, 1 guest we served undercooked chicken, we informed server and had it remade, however that night and following morning 5 of 7 of us has fallen ill with flu like symptoms. Perhaps a look into food prep is needed asap...

I came across to these place where they have the happy hour (were beer and apps are a bit cheaper). Worst thing to pick, we ordered the half pan of veggie nachos and chicken bites. The nachos were good but the chicken bites were terrible. They seem the left overs of the fryer and 5 dry chichen pieces. I told the waiter about it and she was really nice of taking them off and asked me if needed to be redone or grab another plate. Decided that maybe I could grab the same as my partner, I asked (doubting) for the same as my partner: veggie nachos. The nachos that I got, didnt have that much chesee at all (while the first ones where crazy cheese). I get that you guys are offering specials with 2 or 1 dollar off, but if people ask for what supostly to be a special offer dish, wouldnt matter to serve good quality food. Certainly not coming back to Kelseys (when we already had a not so welcoming experience in another Kelseys). Just to clarify, this has nothing to do with the waiter, she was really nice! This has to do with kitchen when receiving a complain.

just came to this restaurant tonight with my family and the service and food was amazing! everything was so fresh and my server, lenora, was so kind and made sure to check in on us often! overall great food and service, would return here again

I recently placed a large take-out order and was very disappointed with the service and quality of the food. The order took 20 minutes longer than the promised pick-up time, which was frustrating. Additionally, two of the meals were not cooked properly - the hamburgers had raw meat inside. Several items were also missing from the order.

Super long wait, I genuinely think only one server was working.. Also have the prices gone up again? Going out to eat for 4 people shouldnt cost $175

Heres the thing: the food was good, and the service was spot on; however, what was not ideal was the Mens washroom. It was dirty. Not like surface dirty but grimy dirty from the top of the stalls to the sink area. It just left a bad impression and is something that should not be the case. It needs a really good cleaning/scrubbing and to be maintained. Sorry, but I had to share this. Thought about telling a manager, but the opportunity didnt present itself.

Read such great reviews we were intrigued. Previously we had only stopped for refreshments on the patio. Our server both times was excellent. We decided to try the food and dine in. The service was dreadfully slow. The food was appetizing enough. Overall experience was definitely lacking. Not certain if this was a one off poor visit. We had an Executive Chef amongst our party, admittedly he was somewhat pleased with the food, but there is definitely room for improvement. Curiously we waited long periods between drink orders and delivery. However, the sever was almost abrupt that we place orders for our mains, despite the drinks just arriving in increments and the apps not even prepped yet. Very disorganized. Doubt we will be back.

Service was good and speedy. The lighting is very bright. The drinks were kind of weak. My husband enjoyed his chicken mac & cheese. There wasnt alot for me choose from as Im a vegetarian, so I built my own burger with a plant based patty; it was extremely off putting as when I cut into it it was red inside (it resembled a real burger) which made me question if it was plant based. As a vegetarian, when I order something plant based, Im not looking for a dupe of the real thing. I shouldnt have to question that what Im eating is actually what I ordered and I shouldnt have to be reassured by the server that they saw the cook take it out of the plant based box. Needless to say, we probably wont be going back Vegetarian options: There are maybe 2 or 3 things to choose from. Not a good place for a vegetarian is you want options

Ive been to many Kekseys llike the last one recently in Brantford and the whole experience was once in a lifetime - like Ill never go back. However went to the Medowlands location last night and was pleasantly surprised. Ive been in customer service for well over 25 years and Im a tad picky about service. We were welcomed and given a booth which I asked to move and was moved to a table, immediately was asked for drinks and given menus. She gave us enough time to decide and was very patient...Im kinda picky with food. I ordered a Honey peach drink dont recall the proper name but Ive had it before. Promptly we were presented with our drinks but mine was missing the alcohol, so our server apologized and brought me another so I got the one I ordered and a virgin cocktail! I might add that our server came and told me she forgot the shot- she could have not mentioned it at all. (she was also bartending) The food was exceptional period - remember Im picky She asked what time our movie was which was very nice of her! A small wait for our bill but someone who I assume was the manager took over for her, asking if we wanted dessert we said no we are seeing a movie and need room for popcorn. He said maybe tomorrow. I dont usually leave reviews but this was a wonderful dinner and an excellent example of what dinner dining should be. Great job from one picky chicky! Now off to find dessert. MP

Tonight s dinner was amazing. I was having a Mother/ daughter night and then the movies and the food made our night !! When bill came went to pay with gift card which showed positive balance but then machine crashed and new machine read no balance and ended up paying with debit Delay was 25 minutes Manager rolled eyes at waitress but gave no assistance Will not be visiting again with three strikes. And evidently not the first one to feel this way. Lots of other choices nearby

Myself and 3 friends frequently come to this location because of the proximity to the movie theater. On Sat July 27 we waited over 30 minutes for two orders of nachos. Not once did our waitress come over to check on us and see if we needed refills or even let us know it was gonna take a little bit longer. We flagged down a manager because our server was nowhere to be found .we let him know we had to leave and he acted completely shocked plus didn t once apologize. He went to find our server and we paid 13 dollars for 3 pepsis and a water.

I went last week with my girlfriend before we went to go see a movie at the theatre nearby. We ordered the nachos as an appetizer and my girlfriend and I really enjoyed them. She threatened to leave me if I didn t order more, that s just how delicious they were. The waitress, Céleste, was more than happy to bring us several more servings of said nachos. My girlfriend was very happy. I can thank the lovely waitress for this wonderful experience and this long lasting relationship with my girlfriend. I will be coming back with my now fiancé in the near future.

Kelsey s is always my go to stop when needing a spot for large groups of people! They are always accommodating at this location with larger groups, and you can never go wrong with some Kelsey s classic appetizers. This location also has lots of room, our party of 25 was able to sit comfortably. Our server Aya was so attentive and kind!

Took my kiddo out for a movie and dinner. Im so happy we picked kelseys. The kids menu was perfect, right portions, and for once, my son didnt know what he wanted because it all sounded so good. Went in for happy hour, was not impressed. I never write reviews and I m pretty lenient on servers because I know how it is to work in food service. Ross was our server and she didn t even check on us once when we got our meal. We finished our meal and wanted another round of drinks. Easily waited 20 minutes and no sign of her. She even went to the table who got sat after us and ignored our table. Each time I come here I expect something different, yet I m always met with the same experience. Ive been here all the time and since Covid it hasn t been the same. They do not care to check on how their customer is doing, only care about a tip. It s frustrating not only experiencing it but having to deal with this each time, I can safely say I did not enjoy my time. Dining out is supposed to be a pleasant experience but not here.

My dining experience at Kelsey Ancaster was exceptional, largely thanks to the outstanding service provided by Shelby! From the moment we were seated until the end of our meal, Shelby went above and beyond to ensure we had a fantastic time. Shelbys attentiveness and friendly demeanor really made us feel welcome. She was knowledgeable about the menu and offered great recommendations when we couldnt decide what to order. Throughout the meal, she checked in on us at just the right times, ensuring our glasses were never empty and that everything was to our liking. Not only was Shelby efficient and professional, but she also had a genuine warmth that made our dining experience truly memorable. Her enthusiasm for the food and the restaurant was contagious, and it enhanced our overall enjoyment of the evening. The food itself was delicious, and the ambiance was lovely, but Shelbys exceptional service truly stood out. I just want to say I stopped in for a meal last weekend and ordered your smash burger and was absolutely floored by how good it was, but most important of this experience was the service. I was served by your waitress Shelby and she made my experience great . Shelby was so kind and respectful with such a super energetic personality. Shelby was also very knowledgeable of your menu and took her job as a waitress seriously. She made the atmosphere come to life with her amazing smile and hospitality. I definitely will be coming back to try something els and I hope to get Shelby again as my waitress. Thank you for a great experience and meal.

Kelsey s is our go too date night. Always there for their spinach dip it is fire. The other stuff is good. Also writing this review got us a free cookie dessert. That s pretty cool. Avery. She waited us. Did a good job again all this for the cookie :)

I walked into Kelsey s and it s was super clean,they have great staff here. I had this one named Celeste and she was super sweet she took care of us great i definitely recommend

Love it here. Always come for happy hour and this time my kids and I got some nachos that were amazing. Celeste was our waitress and she did a great job!

Went to have lunch on the patio after it rained all morning and was now a beautiful sunny day. When we arrived just after 1:30 we were waiting inside and not greeted for a good few minutes. Once the lady came around we asked if we could sit on the patio and she said ya sure let s just see how wet it is and I ll clean it up . We got to pick our table and once we picked it she handed us *napkins* to clean up the water off the chairs and she then disappeared for about 5 minutes. Once she came back out, she did not properly introduce herself I literally have no clue what her name was. We had to ask her if she can open the umbrella and she wasn t able to and had to get the manger. She didn t bring out any water and also yelled across the patio to ask if the food tastes good. Once we were *nearing* the end of our food she proceeded to walk up to our table with her hands out as if she was about to grab the plates then realized there was food on it and then said oh sorry you guys all good . I don t know whether this girl was having a bad day, new and not properly trained but the level of professionalism honestly lacked and resulted in a poor tip and I won t be afraid to admit that. The food was amazing and you can t go wrong with the spin dip

EXCEPTIONAL!!!!! Fantastic experience at this location; worthy of every star available! The GM, Amit - Senior Manager, Cole - Servers, Torrin and Amikah - hands down, truly an incredible service and food experience here. They took care of everything from start to finish. Made the entire evening amazing for me and my Lady. Very hard to find this level of attention and care in big box restaurants today. This team, and all the members, from start to finish, made this dining experience a wonderful one. I highly recommend this Kelseys location; they truly care about their customers and the experience had at their establishment.

Our server Charlie was fantastic and the food was great. However, the GM Amit, was completely disrespectful and rude to our party. Amit berated a member of our group for resting his feet on a bench. Amits behaviour was not to the standard that is normally upheld to our weekly visits on Thursday nights to Kelseys. We are now considering to move our weekly get togethers to your nearest competitor, Jack Astors.

Food was OK, Charlie behind the bar was great as always, Amit the GM always has something to say, and not in a positive way, to the paying customers, so well go to another bar now, Thanks Amit.

I dont normally do reviews but feel compelled to write one after witnessing one of our party rudely confronted by the GM Amit for momentarily resting his leg on a bench. Our party of 5 was completely offended by the manner in which Amit spoke and his arrogance. Completely unacceptable. Kelseys has lost our regular business.

Went last Thursday for half priced wings with a group of friends. The food was fine and Charlie our server was excellent as always. This is a regular group thing and we have been coming to this location for years now as we are locals, and also bring our families on a regular basis. I am a Type 1 diabetic and suffer from diabetic neuropathy in my lower legs and feet. I stretched my legs out and placed my smooth soled flip flops on the front edge of the booth opposite my seat in an attempt to relieve my leg pain. The GM (Amit) strode up to me and, with hands on hips, asked me Are you comfortable? and then proceeded to scold me as if I was a small child jumping up and down on the seats. Our whole group was speechless and after he stalked off it became the topic for the rest of our stay. I didnt react and just put my feet down. At first I was inclined to let it go but then he repeatedly walked near the table to table to stare at me until we finished our food. I doubt that this would be part of the training on how to deal with customers and we started to wonder if he also attemps to bully/intimdate his staff members as well. Inappropriateat any time to attempt to intimidate and shame othrs as a General manager. Would not be surprised to hear this was a regular thing, but I hope that it is not. It could have been easily resolved by a quiet approach and a simple private statement/request.

Our server Avery was amazing! She was so attentive! Would definitely recommend

Turned off the TV with 3 minutes left of the Stanley cup final series. When they still had dirty tables in the bar to clean. Absolutely rude.
