Quiznos in Ancaster

Incorrect store hours. Went on a Sunday evening and it was closed despite their hours being listed as open until 10. Annoying.

They appear to happily defraud the public.

I was hesitant to go after seeing such bad reviews when looking up the address but decided to give them a chance. I m glad I did. The person working was very nice and made my sandwich exactly as I asked.

Love the food, location was not open when they said they were open. Wasn t a holiday just a regular Wednesday afternoon.

Absolutely disgusting food. Ordered Uber takeout from this location and subs came dry, bread so hard it may have been stale and 2 soups cold.... NOT Luke warm ....flat out cold. I will not blame Uber as it was relatively reasonable delivery and thw soup would of been warmish and it wasnt. Cold soup was put in the bowl. Subs came falling out of paper wrapping. Almost $100 down the drain as were ordering pizza now. Save yourself the waste of $ on this restaurant.

Got food poisoning from this location. Doesn t have all add ons out at the end to put on your sub. Horrible experience.

Terrible sub place compared to what they use to be. Bread is stale tasting and toppings aren t fresh.

The employee working on January 11/24 at 7pm was the worst employee I have ever experienced. She did not appear to have a strong enough comprehension of the English language (putting this kindly) nor a care in the world as to what I would have liked to have on my sub. Not only did she NOT ask what toppings I would like, when I asked to add toppings she advised she did. However, when I received my sub it lacked the requested toppings. When I asked her to add the additional toppings, she refused. She also refused to provide me with her managers/owners name and contact number. Ownership/management should consider the employment of this certain employee. I will not be back and will not recommend this location to anyone. Avoid at all costs.

Parul is my favorite customer she is doing her job is very sincerely....thank you I am eating every Thursday she knows how to make my sub she always prepared she deserves her job very well...

Portions was too small, barely few vegetables were in the sandwich. They prepared the sandwich without even asking me, what I want on it and what I dont. The sandwich preparation station is designed in such a way that we cant see anything, no visibility at all. Everything is pretty much hidden. I dont suggest anyone to go to this location. There is SUBWAY sandwich is just across the road, might have better experience there next time.

Asked for double meat, didn t receive it , but was charged for it. The kiosk is too high to look over as well so unless ur peering in from an angle , you can t see what they re putting on until you open your sub. Won t be coming back very disappointed

Ordered a chicken carbonara sub and it came with no sauce it was so dry and bland.

If you want a quick and easy sub, dont go to this place. Yesterday I went to this place and ordered my sub, and although I am the only customer there, I wait for 10 minutes and they still havent started to make my sub. The staff are unhelpful and hard to communicate with. And I also find that most of the recent reviews are low. I wonder whats going on here?

Terrible. I ordered the chicken carbonara because it was always so good but wow what a drop in flavour and freshness. I was very disappointed. They are now charging for the hot peppers and sauces that used to be complimentary when you bought a sandwich. Quiznos went from rare visit to off the list of possible options to eat for me.

One of the most vile places to eat! They cheap out on the ingredients and always mess up the order. The people behind the counter are not trained at all and the food tasted awfully stale. Had to throw the whole order out. Heard the people behind the counter bickering over being underpaid. As a customer those are not conversations I want to be hearing. Do yourself a favour and please skip the Ancaster location.

14$ 9 subs, I m just not eating out anymore. Angus steak, looked like a couple slices of roast beef

THE absolute worst Quiznos franchise in the area bar none. Employees are slow, under trained and frankly just dont appear to care. Cant wait for this franchisee to sell it from losing money so someone can come in and make it better. Quiznos has the best subs (other locations) but this particular location frankly sucks.

Amazing place. The Sub of the day is the way to go!!!. a 9 inch for $7.95 is the perfect meal to say on budget. Neat and clean and the staff are very friendly.

New ownership took over and the quality dropped for a bit but they have gotten the hang of it and I have no reservations about going back. The mesquite chicken and peppercorn steak on garlic bread are my favs.

Awesome as usual. They do make very good subs and I still really enjoy that cheese and broccoli soup. Always great for a wonderful lunch.

I love Quiznos subs, mostly chicken carbonera

Absolutely terrible since new ownership.. I have went there twice and both times I open the bag and have someone elses food. I got a chicken carbonara and it had no bacon or sauce on it. 2 of 3 ingredients.

The Chicken Carbonara sub & Classic Italian sub are the best at Quiznos. Its been almost a year now almost once a week me and my partner for sure visit and order the subs from here, the best part is they are toasty and healthy.

Wonderful that there are still Quiznos around. I stop by this location every once and a while for a Mesquite Chicken. It never disappoints!

Major health code violations here. The young gentleman who is serving me as I type this just took cash from another customer with his gloves on proceeded to give coins back as change and then didn t change his gloves and starts to touch my food. I kindly asked him to please put new gloves on and start over which he did but this scares me. This place was amazing back in the day when owned by a nice family who actually cared. This is my last visit here this place needs to get shut down.

Just tried Quiznos Chicken Carbonara, and its a winner! Creamy, flavorful, and the chicken was juicy. The portion was just right, leaving me satisfied. A tasty twist on a classic - definitely recommending it! Parking: Lots of parking

I went there 6 or 7 times and I ate Mesquite Chicken and Black Angus steak, it was good taste. So, I recommend you should try it out.

Terrible, i took two bites and tossed a 20$ sub. One guy had no clue what was going on... looking at the board to make the sub, which is fine, but clearly no training, other guys was super helpful, but the bread is stale which as we know is the foundatuon of a sub, stale as in days old, not fresh at all. makes me wonder about freshness of the other ingredients. Not taking achance on eating it, very disappointed.

Wow not impressed, ordered the classic sub, they put wayyyyy to much sauce on it, the bread became instantly soggy, the staff were not friendly at all looked like he hated to be there, vents are way to loud so you have to repeat your order 10x, will not be coming back.

Bad experience from start to finish ... employee was very slow and Im not asking for a conversation but a simple greeting goes a long way . Sub was an extreme letdown compared to the standards Ive come to expect from Quiznos over the years ...had barely any chicken on a 15 dollar sub .. bread was also stale and lettuce was less than appealing. Will stick to the upper james location moving forward.

the hours clearly say open till 9pm online...the door was open and when I walked in the lady said theyre only open till 8 and they were closed. it was quite frustrating

People at the Ancaster location are always so friendly and accommodating. We love coming here!!!

They had old soup sitting on the counter not in a pot but a meat bin. My chinken was frozen on my sub. Also I ask for lettuce onion and green pepper but the worker put lettuce cucumber and pickles. Also did not mark the subs in the back so I had to open all of them to find witch one is witch. Very unimpressed

No Greeting , dirty wash rooms and staff have coats on no uniforms anymore I guess. Got the black angus . Definitely not toasted the way they used to . Cheese barely melted. Condition of restaurant is falling apart needs paint job and lighting is poor.

This place went completely down hill once the new owners took over. You have to tell them 3 times what your order is before they understand it. And they have to keep looking back at the menu board because they cant remember whats on the subs. Also the amount of meat on your sub is a lot less than any other quiznos. Never going back to this location. I miss the old owners. They were so friendly and knew what the hell they were doing

Got the lobster sandwich. As a sandwich it was good, but as a lobster sandwich, there was very little lobster flavor. Friendly staff.

Love their subs always gone there but when a rude young lady couldn t put more then 3 words together to place my order I wont be back ... she is definitely not a person you want behind the counter

These guys are great!

I normally really enjoy the food at Quiznos however the service at this particular location was so so slow. I had to wait over an hour to order and finally get my food and it wasnt even busy. This was a Sunday afternoon with 2 staff working and I still dont understand what was taken them so long. The worse part is that they dont even acknowledge how long a customer has to wait for their food. I wouldnt go back to this location until they get more staff or they are better trained. Having to wait over an hour for a sandwich when there is not even a lineup is simply unacceptable.

Went there with my friends for a quick bite, and loved the delicious flatbread pizzas and amazing staff. I highly recommend Quiznos Ancaster as a place to hang out with friends and family:)

Avoid at all costs. They employ insane people who intentionally mess up your order. Two meatball subs with lettuce?? Seriously?

It used to be a good place to eat since they change Ownership its Indian people who owns that now We just had 2 peppercorn steak I think they put the steak in the blender.horrible we threw it in the garbage this will be our last time will be eating in a Quiznos YUK YUK . We use to be regular customer but not anymore.

We are regular customers, used to enjoy going there. Since they changed owners the food is not good and service cant be any slower. It was not busy and it took a long time to get 2 subs.... staff are not very friendly... Ordered the peppercorn steak sub , very soggy and the meat looks different. Did not enjoy my meal threw half of it in the garbage. I dont recomend this place....

Way too much vinegar on the sub literally soaked in vinegar and forgot the pop

Because toasted tastes better. You can taste the difference in their subs. Freshness is the key and quality ingredients, no plastic tasting, nitrate filled fatty over cured meats. The staff are very friendly and pleasant.

Food was good but one of the ladies serving was obnoxiously loud and the other openly told the other she didnt know what was on the subs. This to me reflects poor training or supervision. Id probably still eat there again though.

I tried the Chicken Carbonara Sub at Quiznos and it was so delicious and they used fresh ingredients you can really tell. In my opinion their subs are better than Subway and more high quality. Will upload a picture of my sub next time I eat here.
