I went there this morning to get an Uber, but I was met with unfriendly behavior and very far from the courtesy of the manager there.

Not recommended. First time in this breakfast place. Service is awful. Breakfast is not a great one. Specially Benedict is very bad. Environment is standard, not a place to sit and joy for long. It mostly to have a quick Breakfast and go. Food price is average. But compare to food quality is expensive. This Franchise needs to seriously consider re designing tgeir menu.

Breakfast Meat Burrito thing is the bomb. I think its the only thing Ive tried but damn its good. Service and atmosphere are pretty much what youd expect from a slightly understaffed breakfast place.

Our issues was that the waitress we had put her fingers all over the top of our cups/mugs. We had to wash the rims down in order to drink from the glass/mugs. One of our team members asked for another coffee, the waitress put her finger in the cup to hold it. Then she poured the coffee in the cup. We were not impressed with the way our cups/mugs were handled.

Been going here for years, by far the best breakfast in town. Back and forth between Newmarket s and east gwilliburys location Aurora is by far the best!

We liked the food but they charged us extra for kids portion without warning us. Even though my daughter pointed to a kids portion, they charged for an adult one, plus for a side bacon even though it was included in the portion. Extra 10$ is not worth it. I felt like I was scammed. Will never come to this place again.

Good food, good service, good location. All day breakfast is nice for the occasional late morning or lunch craving for eggs. Be mindful that during peak breakfast/brunch hours it gets busy and service can potentially be lengthy/slow.

Every sunset grill offers a near identical experience. Tasty food, quick service, decent portions, and nothing to complain about.

WARNING EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED!!! Came here for our mothers birthday brunch. Four adults, two kids and infant. Firstly, they advertise freshly squeezed juices BUT they are out of the cartons. A BIG LIE! They said we dont squeeze it here, what ever that means. The 8 ounces OJ was $6. Pancakes taste like bowl of sugar, bacon and sausage were over cooked. The waitress (who introduced herself as JENN) didnt care about us. She had an attitude from the very beginning. The place was not busy at all, there were few other tables other than us. NOW, BE AWARE!!! When we had to pay they put the tip automatically to the bill, 15% !!!, and when asked why they said they do that automatically and every restaurant does this. According to Jenn! This was not informed at the door or notified to us. We told that tipping is an optional. Now we understand why the service was so bad because obviously they dont care if they can rob people like this. Obviously the owner knows exactly whats going on because this is not the first review.

Very disappointing! The service was bad and the food was worse! Jen the server automatically puts her tip on the bill at 15 percent so she doesn t have to be nice or give good service, this is not ok! Your not even informed of this till it s time to pay. Its your own decision on what amount you want to tip. What if someone doesn t have a lot of money and can t afford the 15 percent. Never to return!

I had Jenn as my waitress, she went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of. I come often, and I know a lot of other regulars do too, because of this. The food and atmosphere are both great, and my go to is the bacon breakfast.

These people giving Jenn a 1 star rating because with a larger party they add a tip is hilarious. To the person complaining about people not being able to afford a 15% tip, perhaps you should rethink some life decisions here, stay at home and make food if you are broke. Jenn is a fantastic waitress, she s always attentive and I never see her sitting around. It s normal practice in the serving industry to automatically add a gratuity with larger parties, so that cheapskates don t hammer servers with work, and do not compensate for it. Keep up the great work Jenn, and the consistently great food at sunset.

Bought a sunset super this morning and it was awful. Bacon was so tough my dog didn t think it was food and ignored it. I ended up throwing out everything except for the pancakes. Total waste of $14. Never again.UGH !

Normally I have had a good experience coming here. Today was not one of those days. A young waitress Nikita happened to be our server. I would say it took at least a good 10 mins before we were even offered the menu. Upon getting it we were not offered coffee or even had utensils until we had to ask for both. When the food finally came items were missing , didn t ask if we wanted a refill on coffee and just disappeared, we had to ask other servers for stuff and only then did this person wake up. When the extra items like jam were provided it was thrown on the table and she once again disappeared not asking if we needed anything. Most interaction we got was when it was time to pay the bill. In the food industry service is a big portion of the value and why people come back. This service was well below par. I would suggest that you hire employees that actually want to be there. A smile and good service through the meal goes a long way. We have been coming here for years so I know this isn t the standard. I give this a 2 because the service was just that bad and not the feeling you want on a Sunday morning breakfast. I suggest you invest more time training these younger employees to avoid this in the future.

Had a very unusual experience at this location. My family and I went in this past Sunday around 11 AM for brunch for a birthday celebration. We were a family of 6 with kids. We went in and the server noted down our food and drinks. Usually the food comes out first for kids as they are naturally curious, however, the food came out quite late as compared to the adults. Either way, it was fine. However, when we paid the bill and sat back down to for gifts - the server came up to us and asked if there was anything wrong with the service and then proceeded to ask why we only tipped her a certain amount and explained that she now had to tip out. Keep in mind that this was when we were doing our gift giving process. I strongly urge the management of this place to do a better job training the staff and to revisit the tipping system that is currently happening as it seemed like she was unhappy and upset by it. I have never in my life had a server come up to me and ask me why I didn t tip more and ruin an experience with my family and I highly doubt customers would want to come back to any resteraunt where this would happen. I have tried calling and getting in touch with the manager to no avail. Safe to say I will not be coming back here and will spread the word about the service at this location.

Went for breakfast today.. Very simple order times 2.. eggs over easy bacon the toast.. so eggs.. supposedly it says three.. only got two and bacon was deep fried.. told waitress and she said no its not.. ya anywho its not even good for bacon bits.. oh sorry she says.. thats it not a would u like something else?? Got to pay got charged 4 dollars for it too.. Christ I wouldnt give it too my dogs!! Literally!!! There was only 2 other tables so it cant be blamed on being busy!! Last time there... Ill stick to wimpys.. 10 times better!

Sunday April 17th. My wife and I stopped in for breakfast. I ordered Blueberry pancakes which came fairly quickly. Unfortunately one side had been left on the griddle far too long and had formed a solid skin to the side. Our waitress did not return so I was forced to peel the edible portion off the other side, and eat it in bits and pieces. When finished the other hard side of the pancakes was left on my plate. I explained this to someone at the cash register and got no reaction. I then tried explaining the problem to the manager. Unfortunately he was more interested in something else, and paid little attention to what I was telling him. Clearly a waitress who does not come back to check on the food, and a manager who obviously is not interested in the satisfaction of his clients does not encourage me to return to his restaurant. There are far too many breakfast restaurants in the area for me to ever return to this location.

I used to go to this places from years ago, I stopped going as I find the omelet greasy and went to the breakfast place 2-3 light north. I gave sunset grill another chance and went back again with bunch of fiends in Feb this year and still too greasy and smells like they fried sea food and then made omelet on the same. Friendly staff and waitress thou. Overall Disappointed!!

My family and I had an amazing brunch at SG this afternoon. Lynette was just a fabulous host - making us feel so welcomed and always doting over us to ensure we were comfortable. We all ordered different things - 4 different orders and each was perfectly made, each was scrumptious. Our first time here, definitely wont be our last. Thank you, Lynette!

Great breakfast at SG! Signature fluffy pancake with some whip cream on the side. We also ordered the Canadian with sausage, bacon with 2 sunny-side up eggs and toast. Yum Yum! Coffee was the only weak link. But I am biased of course as someone who drinks Blue Mountain Coffee! Black and dense, no sugar. Only can show the after photo, sorry!

If you are a single parent on a fixed budget - DO NOT go this restaurant chain! I took both my children (both under 10) and the bill was $28 (pre tip). Here is what was purchased: 1 x coffee 2 x apple juice 1 x Light Breakfast (fruit, egg, toast) 1 x Grilled Cheese ( grilled cheese, potatoes) The wait staff that served us was lovely, the restaurant was clean and the atmosphere was light. However $30 for two kids to have breakfast, we won t be returning.

The food is constant at each of these franchises. But the only thing I didnt like was that they have vegan options on the menu to eat but they dont offer vegan dairy so you cant have a cup of coffee with your breakfast. Get some almond, soy, coconut oat....ect something even if only just one. Just something?

Party of four. Hamburger was average at best and over-priced. Club sandwiches (2) the same. Southwest chicken was disgusting. I ate half and asked for something else. Request was denied by manager/owner. Server was embarrassed. Not her fault. Ill never return. I can make this type of food at home much better for a fraction of what I paid. Felt sorry for the server. She was nice.

Gave me cold food, Has no exceptions to any of their meals that all have the exact same items, No accountability for whether or not someone likes or can eat eggs for example, not allowed to swap it for anything so you have to order one of the few things that don t include it, when you receive it it s raw and cold. Never coming again

The food was great and the wait staff was nice, there was no AC as they had the back door open letting in the hot, and humid 36°C air in. This was by far the sweatest I have been while eating a meal indoors. Would come back when they have the AC on.

Nice, all day breakfast restaurant. The place is open style, with high ceilings, and the kitchen is fully visible. The have a good selection of breakfast foods, and a smaller selection of lunch items. The staff was friendly, the service was fast, the prices are fair, and the amount of food given on your plate, is good. I will be back.

I come here regularly, last time I ordered breakfast was approx 3 months ago and unfortunately for my meal I did not get what I expected. I ordered Eggs benedict with extra sauce, and I received a poultry amount.

Such a great place. Went there on our lunch and were able to start the order before we waked in so we wouldnt be rushed. Delicious not grease and fresh ingredients. Sever was very friendly too.

dont uber eats from here. Gave us literally a tablespoon full of eggs which were gross and burger buns that were frozen and stale... ordered fresh fruit and never got that. i never leave reviews but im annoyed we spent $65 for gross food lol.

Good ace for a quick luncheon

Visited this location on family day. The service seemed a little delayed, or maybe they were short on staff. It took about 45 min after we were seated to be given any drinks to start. Order was taken a bit late as well. However, i am not going to rate a restaurant poorly, on a day where employees call in sick and the weather can affect staff not showing up. In total, there was 7 of us, we all ordered. The coffee seemed a little watered down and tasteless And the mugs had lipstick marks in them. The food however, came out fresh, every special order was done right, and everything tasted great. Overall, the food tasted great and all the orders were done correctly and food all came out at the same time. Due to the lack of service and drink/coffee, dirty mug, is the only reason this location got a 4 star. Besides all that the food tasted good

This place is great! All of the staff are polite and helpful and always greet you with enormous smiles. I am not a coffee drinker but I am told by other patrons that the coffee at Sunset Grill is very good. They add calorie counts to all menu items for those who are watching their caloric intake, and are always happy to provide you with substitutions for dietary restrictions.

You get what you pay for at this restaurant. The prices are reasonable and it has a good sized menu. The staff are super friendly as well! I wouldve given this place a 4 star review a few months ago, HOWEVER last time I came in an ordered the pancakes (which is what I usually get), they were all burnt on the bottom, but they plated them with the burnt part facing down so you wouldnt notice. They shouldve thrown them out anyways and not served them, but regardless, I asked my waitress for new pancakes, and she came back a few minutes later with fresh golden brown ones.

Service is always amazing and the servers are such sweethearts. It can be very busy sometimes but the wait is always worth it.

The only reason why this isnt a 5 star is because when I went it was extremely busy. We waited 20 minutes to get seated and about 45 minutes to get served. If you want to get the most out of your experience going with large groups is not recommended. Neither is going later than 10am

No frills breakfast place. It can get really busy on weekends but they are quick and food comes out pretty good. I ve been here numerous times and never had any issues.
