Fantastic food and giant portions. I loved every bite. The service was top notch and the price for the amount of food was great.

Food was amazing and the severs were very nice to us. But the vegetables in the beef noodle soup could be more fully cooked.

Food is subpar. Do not recommend. It was heartbreaking to eat such poor Chinese food. Service is not good either.

The food and Staff are great. I always get the veggie pan fried dumpling. The entree portions are huge. So if you have a smaller appetite its good for sharing.

Had a great experience from Hans and the team the other night. Appreciated the fresh dumplings, hand made and tasty. Place was clean, tidy and the service was humble and genuine. Will easily be back for quality Asian food, cheers guys!

The place is a nice & clean! The food is great we ordered a soup noodles & sesame sauce cold noodles, veggies steamed dumplings! Sweet sticky rice ! The presentation are all nice ! Plus give us on house deserts sesame sticky rice balls! Yummy

The atmosphere is clean and spacious, service not much expectations. Definitely over priced with small portions, their signature soup filled dumplings and Shao Mai are way below average. Beef noodles and cold noodles are alright. Much better option with this price range.

Grabbed some take out a few weeks ago and the chicken dumplings were perfect. Good fresh food and good service. Loads of parking.

Foods are delicious, steamed soup dumplings, noodles, fried spring onion pancake are highly recommended.

Went for dim sum. Ordered soup dumplings, shrimp dumpling, bbq pork bao and sautéed pea leaves. Everything was reasonably tasty. The least impressive was the bao buns. Restaurant has a nice ambiance and the service was prompt and attentive.

We were craving chinese food but alas we really didn t really enjoy the food :/ We ordered: Pan Fried Pork Dumplings (This was the best of the meal) Vegetables Spring Rolls (Cold inside and weird taste) Shrimp Chowmein (It was okay but bland taste) General Tso Chicken (Didn t appear to be the regular general tso chicken with the spice as you can see in the pic) Shrimp and Egg Fried Rice (Was decent) Wuxi Spare Ribs (They were good)

we come here all the time! our senior parents think this is the best asian restaurant in aurora! they always give free desserts when we have a big group.

Wonderful restaurant, delicious food, super family friendly! I went here with my baby and they were all so helpful and kind! Kid-friendliness: I brought my 8 month old who is obviously a baby and pretty messy with solids and they were so sweet and encouraging for him to try what I ordered and didnt mind the bit of mess he was making! Wonderful staff and manager!

A classic, great traditional Shanghai style food Crystal pork belly is a must have

This is one of our go to places when were near Bayview and Woodbine. Clean and spacious, easy to get a table. The food is very good and the serving staff is super friendly. The poor stickers, green onion pancakes, and xiao lung bao are excellent. I also live their smashed cucumber appetizer - order it every time LOL.

It was our first time ordering from Lee Chens. Right away from the packaging you can tell that the quality is top notch. Extra caution was taken to ensure all items were safely packaged. My wife and I were a fan of everything. The noodle soup was very flavourful and the snow peas leaves were cooked just right. It was also very nice that we were given three tea drinks free of charge. Thank you Lee Chen!

Nice restaurant and great customer service. We even got a free dessert! But this was the most bland, flavourless Chinese food Ive ever had. Compared to Chinese food found in Toronto this had no taste. The only thing that tastes good was the free sesame ball.

Decent Asian restaurant in Aurora. Visited them several times for lunch and dinner. Some dishes were good (e.g. dim sum and dumplings in general; deep fried sesame balls, pork belly, beef with lettuce) while some we might not try again (e.g. chicken and pork which is chicken in barbecue sauce)

Went here with a group of 5, food was delicious and tasted fresh, service was polite and available. Interior is nicely decorated and has art that contributes to the atmosphere

The restaurant itself has a very appealing aesthetic. I do have some food sensitivites so I checked the menu ahead of time to make sure that there were options for me. When I got to the restaurant I was informed that several of my choices were no longer available (even though they still showed up on the ordering tablet as well.) The quality of the food was decent - nothing special and smaller portions than what youd expect from similar restaurants. The food wasnt filling and despite ordering multiple dishes at the end we were still hungry. The service was average. One nice unexpected touch was a dessert on the house, but it wasnt enough to make up for the lackluster experience. Not a place Ill go back to despite how nice the atmosphere is.

Went in to pick up an order for uber eats delivery and the staff didnt even say a word to me. I politely said hello and the lady just pointed to the bag. Maybe I said hello in English and that offended them.

Nice clean Chinese restaurant in Aurora

Served large group. They gave us a separate room so we could mingle. We ordered a lot of delicious dishes; so much that doggy containers were required. The staff was outstanding. Most enjoyable party. Wheelchair accessibility: No problem.

Great atmosphere, food was prompt and had nice ingredients, flavours were decent, price was pretty reasonable. I would say the food was somewhere in between take out and high end quality. The service was quite poor, the servers ignored us a lot and set out the wrong about of bowls we were a large table so it was strange to be so low priority, and had no warmth or interest. Overall a good experience. I think since this place has table seating for 10 people, they should have combination menu to account for that- they only had for 4-6 in the menu combos

Had a full blown meal of about 6 dishes late Tuesday night. Food was excellent, as was the service. My Sapporo beer appeared very quickly in a nice glass at the perfect temperature. Food came out hot which is always how it should be. Large restaurant but on a Tuesday evening practically empty just one other patron. Will return no doubt about it! Parking: Parking very easy and just in front of the restaurant.

A little pricey but it is reasonable for the quality you get. Definitely will return and the servers are genuinely nice people, which is why it has such a welcoming atmosphere. The black bean beef was great, you get real beef texture not meat with so much tenderizer that it doesnt even feel like beef anymore. The skin on the soup buns are thin, time and care was spent in making them. You get what you pay for.

Got take out. After some issues with the delievery which they do not do on there site the manager was wonderful in figuring out a solution. The food was incredible we ordered a large variety. The inky down fall was the vegetable soup had 0 flavor was not enoki mushrooms but oaster mushrooms cut up very thin. The rest tho was perfect

The food here was excellent and very authentic. I initially was skeptical because the sign on the restaurant and decor was not typical of an authentic Chinese restaurant you would expect to see in Markham or Richmond Hill. Unfortunately, this place is not very busy considering the quality of the food. I suspect that other Chinese foodies like me are also confused. Or perhaps not liking the slightly higher prices. But I urge you to give this place a chance. Its worth the few extra bucks. Their soup dumplings (Xiao long Bao) were very delicious, nice thin shell with great tasting soup and meat. I would say their soup dumplings are better than the 2 more popular Shanghai dim sum places at first Markham place. Everything we ordered was delicious.

The food is not 100% authentic Chinese and tastes okay. We were there on a busy day and the waitress barely looked at us and I have to go to the counter to find her. The decor there is fancy, not very noisy.

Best place for business meeting lunch !

It is a good choice in Aurora if you don t want to go downtown or find most Shanghai restaurants in uptown are usually too busy and rushed. Lee Chen is beautifully decorated and comfortable. Service is prompt and not rushed. It is seldom busy doesn t mean the food is not good. We had lunch there 3 times and each was not disappointed. The Shanghai dumpling is one of the best must have, but ask for black vinegar instead of the red. Prices are a touch more than those uptown rival restaurants but justified it. But overall it is a good place to go for a quiet meal.

First time here, took 15mins ride from Richmond hill and surprisingly good! Amazing food quality and friendly service. For sure will come back.

My wife and I have just recently discovered Lee Chens. The staff are very friendly, the menu is extensive and the food is delicious. We highly recommend this restaurant.

Got charged a $2 service fee for a pickup order, which is completely unreasonable. The siu mai was soggy and not tasty. The beef in the main dish was gross (and they used a cheaper cut of meat instead of beef flanks). The broccoli was inedible because not cooked properly.

Lee Chen is my favourite restaurant! I always go there to celebrate my birthday. The food is fresh, flavourful and made to order. The menu has an amazing selection! The staff is attentive and wearing masks. The restaurant is beautifully decorated and very clean. Try it and you will go back again and again!

We came with some family for Xiao long bao and other dishes. Xiao long bao was really tasty and the skin on the dumpling was the right thickness. The pork belly bao was also really good and not overly fatty. The beef noodle soup was good and just the right size for sharing. I feel like we were able to get a great variety of food and left very satisfied. The venue is quite large and very clean.

UPDATE- Ive been coming here for a good couple times but this last time I went they told me 25 minutes usually they tell me 10 minutes so I was quite thrown off by that I then waited one hour and a bit I asked after 25 minutes if my food is ready they told me in a few minutes they did not make eye contact me for the rest of the remaining time there was even people around me who have them waiting just as long, and why they werent helping me they were taking calls for more orders, if they would have told me an hour I would have taken my business someplace else taken Im very upset and I hope that you guys could do something about this. Not enough people working for busy nights . I got the hot and sour soup the first time, loved it got it again with with noodle , it was a little overdone I think its better without. got it the $7.48 for their soup it was decent size, didnt have any carrot and it had alot of oil.

Excellent service and hospitality. The fairly pricy menu options are made up for with the large portion size in the soup I ordered. I was very delighted by the sesame seed balls for desert and definitely recommend them.

Fantastic dining space with good food using quality ingredients. Honestly the best Siu long bao, spicy beef tendons, salty soy bean milk, wore tip, fried noodles... Even the vegetarian dumplings was so good and we ordered it by mistake. Hans was the perfect host and explained everything to us. Price is good for the quality you get. We cant wait to go back!!! Thanks Hans! Update: Been there twice last week even though its a 30 mins. Drive. Yum!! Must haves: siu long bao, fried rice cakes (like noodles), cold appetizer beef tendons with chili sauce, fried wor teep and this fried chicken pieces.

Lee Chen has a great vibe. It s bright airy Oder with a fun mural. I love how spacious it is. The service was great and I also love being offered a variety of tea. It is fun to order off the tablet and you know exactly what the cost of your meal is. The food came out nice and hot and on pretty plates. Flavours were delicious. Had the almond crusted fish. Sooooo good. All the food we ordered were served hot and fresh. Sesame balls, fried tofu, shrimp fried rice. Highly recommend. Will go again.

Food is mediocre. Service is terrible. I dont know what happened. I remember coming here the first time and service was at least good when they first opened. Today I came here with my family. The waitress took away the set of plates and utensils from my son. When I asked them if they could at least give me a plate, they said hes going to break it. She assumed that my son will be breaking their plate so she didnt want to give him one? Safe to say. We wont be going back.

The pork ball noodle soup and beef combo were good but portion is kind of small for a grown male However, the pad thai is completely not recommended. The whole thing coveres with sweet sauce and there is not a single shrimp in there.

I ordered takeout and got the Lee Chen Fried Rice, the person working the cashier was wonderful, friendly, and kind! Service was quick and amazing. Most importantly, the food tasted great! Large portions for $20 that s reasonable and great tasting fried rice. I can t wait to come back and try dine in next time.

Dongpo meat!

First time eating here and was really disappointed. The Decor was nice and the place was clean. I ordered the pad Thai, green curry and fried chicken. The pad Thai was swimming in sauce and was really inedible. The green curry gravy had a canned soup consistency and was also unpleasant and way over seasoned. The fried chicken was supposed to be an appetizer had been forgotten about. There were 2 waitresses that served us the first one wasn t very helpful as she would only ever give us half of what we asked for, the other was much more helpful and I really appreciated that. The restaurant seemed busy which I found odd given the service and quality but maybe they were having an off day. Unfortunately I don t think I ll be back to give it another shot. TLDR; Would I come back ? No Would I recommend this place to a friend? Also no.

I ordered over the phone. They said 20 minutes my order would be ready. I get the and the young gent says we are waiting for one item. Ten minutes later they pick everything up off the counter that had been sitting there god knows how long before I showed up and it s now cold. They pack it up and check me out like it s fresh. I said something about how long I ve waited while my order was all sitting ready. Then they call me three hours later asking me if I picked up my order. I m not happy with the way I was treated. I asked to speak to the manager and they ignored me.

Best Asian food in Aurora! Delicious and fresh food,friendly servers. The food is really a step above and we enjoyed it very much. I have tried most Asian restaurants in Aurora and this is definitely one of the best! Only suggestion I would offer is to dim the lights abit, its quite bright for dining.

Pan Fried Pork Bun Pan Fried Pork Dumplings Soup Filled Dumplings Green Onion Pancake Salty Glutinous Rice Roll Har Gow Steamed Chicken Feet I can get not only Shanghai dim sum also the Cantonese dim sum at this restaurant. The food was delicious and authentic. The presentation was nice. Love the filling of the pan fried dumplings ( ) which was less oily then the ones I had at the other restaurants. Soup dumplings, however, was a bit disappointing as it s small with thicker skin and less soupy than I expected. The rice roll was so good in perfect size with more filling then rice that we can order more items and eat more. It s a great restaurant and I would visit again soon.

This is a really great place to go for nice Chinese food. Its authentic! The soup dumplings and pork belly baos are a must try. My wife loves the eggplant dish, and my 7 yr old son loves so many things from the menu (thank goodness). There is always something for everyone.

We celebrated our birthday at this restaurant. And the food is worth the 90 minute drive. The restaurant is beautifully decorated and the service are the best around. Just wish we can eat here more often.

I like lychee green tea, it has a sweet floral fragrance and a refreshing feeling. Xiaolongbao is a bit like Nanxiang Xiaolongbao, quite delicious. The black pepper beef is very tender, suitable for people like me who are used to eating soft food. My kids and I both like it and will come again next time
