Terrible experience. i went on it because of these Google reviews. Their menu indicated 10% cash but they didnt honour their statement. If youre not going to honour what you put out there then shame on you. I tried to explain but to no avail.

I genuinely feel bad leaving a bad review but I ve had too many bad experiences with this restaurant. The other day, three of us had gastrointestinal issues after eating this food. Other instances involved hair in food.

I ordered from them on Dec 30th for my birthday. It was the best food I have had. It was very flavorful and hot. Even my family was impressed and wanted to know where I ordered from. And they always ordered from Mandarin Now they have your number thank you

We wait for the order for 40 minutes and after all this time we got wrong order, the food is not worth the waiting and specially not all our time I probably will never go back to this place, I was so hungry and stayed hungry after all.... disappointed

It was after 9pm when I called for a food delivery. I was quoted a really high price without being able to confirm the price with a menu. I believe they changed me way above the regular menu prices. I chose to go ahead because I was hungry, no other choices were available at that time of night(other than pizza).

This place is amazing. I like the size of the dishes and the price is right. I tried many places in newmarket and Aurora and I liked this one the best. Plus they re always busy! Vegetarian options: Lots of dishes that are vegetarian Parking: Never had to wait for a spot, lots of options Wheelchair accessibility: You can park right infront of the door.

I order from here all the time . But last night I ordered and was very disappointed and embassressed for my guest the food was terrible . The chicken balls were were so hard and over cooked even the children couldnt eat them and the beef in the veg was like leather and the breaded shimp was over cooked as well . So it was a total waste of 81.00 for a meal nobody could eat.

The service was friendly and professional. The delivery was prompt and the FOOD was fantastic I ordered the deluxe dinner for two and it wasn t salty and the everything tasted delicious.It was every bit as good as the Mandarin or Four Seasons if not better Thank you I Food

Our first time here, we got the dinner for 4 and added a few items. I requested no onions or mushrooms in meal, and it came exactly as requested. The food was hot, fresh, and tasted fantastic. Best fried wontons Ive ever had, (highly recommend them). Definitely will be ordering again soon. Parking: Parking was okay when we went, there are a few spots, and easy to get in and out.

Charged one price on delivery then decided to come back and ask for more money. Food isnt even that good. We will never go back.

We used to order take out quite often from here because my son somehow liked the food and wife thinking it was natural ingredients only, .. I very seldom tried it, but when I did I was shocked how bad the quality was, smelly chicken with horrible aftertaste, rubbery beef,.. on one occasion my son insisted to go here on his school recess, having little time I stepped to the counter and ordered the usual for my son which included 1 extra rice, we sat and waited for food, I told the lady my son was having the food there, she brought the food packed and in take out containers,. I asked for water she never acknowledged and behaved as if she was upset/angry .. she brought one glass of water for my son not bothering to bring me one or even ask. Asked for napkins she completely ignored me despite being few steps from me, it was embarrassing to keep asking and getting no response with 2 other customers seeing/hearing it all. was completely baffled and shocked by this bizarre behavior, .. food as mentioned is not fresh and sauce sticky like glue, most likely loaded with MSG, not sure where my wife got the all natural ingredient idea for this location, perhaps from some of their advertisements but I dont believe it for a second. Bad food, bad service, horrible attitude, they lost my sons and my wifes frequent business. This dates back to over a year and half ago and before COVID.

A-ma-zing food!!! The best Ive had in a very very long time!!! Prices are reasonable for the quantity you receive. If you havent tried Mei Lings its definitely a must have!!!

Mei Ling is our go to in Aurora for Chinese food. It is always fresh and delicious. Chicken balls are our benchmark for comparison - the ones at Mei Ling are full of chicken and not mostly batter like some places. Tonight we tried the Mu shu pork for the first time and it was delicious. Lots of pork a fresh vegetables.

Sorry but this place is another example of Asian food restaurants that are just ripping you off. The quality of the food is sub standard. No flavor because they dont put anything into it.. no sause no ingredients. Just noodles or rice .. nothing of value here. Dont waste your time supporting them.. they obviously dont care about giving value for money.. So fed up with this attitude of charge lots and give nothing. Hope another place with take their location soon.. . Mic drop see ya

Food has gotten worse. Just ordered the other day for the first time in a while. The food tasted burnt and there wasn t much flavour. Also watch out for their delivery charge. It says order $25 and live in the area and it s free delivery. I ordered $60 worth of food and live in the area and they still charged me for delivery. Try Aurora Garden Chinese food. Way better food and I ve never had to pay a delivery charge.

We tried Mei Lings for the first time a few weeks ago. First of all, there were no issues while ordering over the phone. And their food contains no mag. We ordered one of their Dinner for 4 plus dumplings and wontons. It arrived faster than we expected and was delicious. So much so that instead of our usual sushi dinner for Mothers Day this year we had Mei Lings. We tried a Dinner for 5 this time and were not disappointed. Both times we had enough leftovers for a second meal the next evening. I highly recommend Mei Lings!

The food is delicious! Ive ordered from 4 other Chinese food restaurants in Aurora/Newmarket since Covid and this is the best by far! The portions are generous and served fresh. The best chicken soo guy served hot and crispy and lemon sauce is authentic. Same with the chicken balls ...not soggy like other restaurants. The BBQ pork chop suey was amazing! Looking forward to ordering different dishes next time! Great value and friendly owners!!!

Portions are not very big. Some beef dishes had maybe 3 or 4 small pieces of beef and all vegetables for 12 bucks.

Just called to order for delivery, when asking about the portion size for their fried rice the lady asked how many people Im ordering for. I told her for two people and she said thats too small amount of people and that she cant deliver. She tried rushing me off the phone saying its too small.. I let her know she didnt even know what I was going to order then asked whats the minimum amount for delivery. She said 45$ or more. I was planning to order 2 wonton soups, shrimp fried rice, ginger beef and spring rolls. Pretty sure that is enough to make an order for delivery but she refused me before giving me a chance lol.. greedy business.

I had the sweet and sour pork lunch special. In reality, its mostly just fried batter with sauce on the side. So in summation, the food was very mediocre but service was fast and the place was clean.

Good chinese food for the most part. Liked most of it. Accidentally ordered the wrong spring rolls, because i wasnt aware spring rolls can come with meat. Will order vegetable spring rolls in the future. Mixed vegetables were warmed, but otherwise raw. Check your receipt.

Some of the best Chinese food around. Have come to the restaurant a couple times over the last couple months and Ive enjoyed it every time. The food is always good and you are always greeted by a friendly staff. I would recommend trying the egg rolls if you havent already as they are quite good

This is like 1950s Chinese small town Canadian Chinese food. Definitely not authentic Chinese not like what you get in Chinese restaurants along Hwy 7 in Markham or in asiancourt ( Agincourt). However it fills your stomach and is healthier than Canadian hamburger French fries or wings for dinner. They seem to do a great take out service for caucasian.

Terrible service. Our delivery took over 2.5 hours. We kept phoning and we kept getting excuses.

Understandably busy on New Years Day but the food was 30 minutes longer being delivered than we were told (it took them over one and a half hours). When the driver arrived, he didnt have the debit machine needed to take our payment despite being very specific on the phone that we were wanting to pay with debit. We chose this place because of the Google reviews but to be honest (and regardless of the lengthy wait and mix up), the food was very average. The chicken fried rice had zero vegetables in it, just small chunks of chicken and run of the mill rice and it was rather bland. We also had the chicken balls which were pretty standard fare - the same that most Chinese food places serve, although there were some strange, unidentifiable black bits in the sweet and sour sauce which we dont expect or necessarily want in our sweet and sour sauce. The other chicken dish was OK, but again, flavourless. It all reminded us of the food you get at the Mandarin. Not a good thing. We wont be ordering from here again.

I have been coming to Mei lings for approx. 3 years and I have yet to be disappointed by anything. I have cleared the majority other menu and have been left completely satisfied each and every time. To be honest I dont know how they make any profit with their lunch specials. their chicken is always cleaned properly, beef and pork have the fat cleaned off and their chicken fried rice has actual chunks of Chicken breast in it. I wish them continued success and hope anyone looking for a good meal tries it!

My knitting group meets here before our monthly meeting and it is always a great place to eat. The food is always hot, fresh and tasty, no matter what you order, and the portions are great value for the price. The staff are always friendly and accommodating to dietary restrictions. I highly recommend it.

I ate dinner here tonight and would say this is the best Chinese food I have had in Aurora. They were packed with take-out orders so service was a bit slow. The prices were really reasonable. I got an entire plate of food for under $10 and they substituted some things upon my request. Definitely will be ordering here again.

Just the best Szechuan Food in Aurora, and the York Region Area. Must tries are the Lemon Chicken, Yet-Ca Mein Noodle Soup, homemade spring rools and the best of the best, Calgary Crispy Beef. And always start with a wonton soup!
