Clean spot, very tasty malatang and skewers, slightly pricey but quality of food makes up for it. Ample seating area, and they serve plum juice instead of plain water for drinks! Definitely worth a visit, especially if you crave hotpot taste but don't want the big spread

Nice space and atmosphere. Great food quality. However, a bit confusing on what to do when you walk in, with no clear directions. There is a self serve kiosk and metal bowls with tongs, to create your own bowl, and bringing it up to the cashier. However, staff did not instruct this until asked. A bit slow with the food. We will definitely return though for more!
It was our first time and the staff there wasn't attentive enough to realize that and we had to figure out how to order food! Basically you have to select the items of food that you like from a display freezer and there were quite a wide selection of meat, seafood, vegies, tofu, noodles, etc, etc. Quite a display and the vegies were fresh and inviting. Then you take the container to cashier and you tell them the soup base that you want and there were just 3 types, 2 spicy and the other a tomato soup broth. I hope that they can think about a plain broth like a chicken or beef. All that food was cooked in the kitchen and served to us steaming hot! It was really good. We also ordered some skewers with beef and chicken and they were sumptuous, juicy and just will-order-again. The seasoning wasn't overpowering like other similar offerings. And the flaking bun is a must-have! I order one to try and I put the meat from skewer and made a burger. It was sooooooo good! Just need some lettuce and tomato to create a new Burger. Price was reasonable for 4. Oh, the plum drink was a great pair for the almost hot-pot like food. The only downside I found was that you have to eat fast because there is no warmer for the food so it can get cold pretty quickly. But eat it fresh and you will be fine.
The price here is only 23 yuan for half a bowl, and the soup base is only 9 yuan. All in all, it s only half a bowl. Do you think consumers are stupid and won t buy it again?

The food is amazing and prices reasonable
It tastes good. There is finally a Sichuan-style restaurant in North America. Children can also eat together. Just order the non-spicy pot base, or order French fries and fried chicken tenders.

I have been thinking about it for a long time. When I came in, I thought I was ordering boiled pork slices, but it turned out to be Malatang. When I saw that fried skewers were available on the table, I just ordered a whole portion.
Not the first time trying this restaurant, very tasty, especially the skewers. Yummy! Not very busy after lunch time, got the service very fast.

I usually love coming to this restaurant. Today I took a closer look at the little sign on the table and it turned out that I wrote a review to give away fried skewers. When I saw that the gift today was salted crispy chicken, I happened to like it, so I spent a long time writing it and said it was a gift. No, I immediately felt like I was cheated! New bbq skewers places. Clean place. Bbq skewers were tasty and slightly spicy. They have hot pot too (based on weight of food).
The food was delicious, the environment was nice, and the waitstaff were quite friendly. However, on the day we went, our dish was mistakenly served to another table, and the staff didnt inform us. Instead, they remade our dish themselves, by using the same vegetables and same portion as they said. We only found out by overhearing their conversation. Although they repeatedly assured us that the ingredients were the same, I felt this approach was inappropriate.
Amazing flavours and fresh ingredients! Definitely coming here again. We got the spicy bowl (extra hot) with fish filet and tomato bowl with beef. Both had amazing flavours and the beef was so tender. I m from Sichuan and the spicy level was definitely great! I am going to recommend it to all my friends
High quality food and high quality service! Been here so many times since they ve opened. Everything from their meat bowls, to skewers, and drinks are excellent. The staff also seems to remember us and are super kind and helpful (ie running to open the door for me as I came in with my baby). Love this place! My friend from out of town was craving skewers and we had no idea there was one in Aurora. We decided to check it out while not having high expectations. Boy, were we impressed! Staff was amazing. From the moment we walked in, they were very attentive to us. They explain that for the bowls, we walk up and help ourselves to the toppings. Then you bring it to the cash register and they will weight the bowl and we choose what level of spice we want for our broth. They then take the toppings and prepare the meat bowl. While we waited, we ordered some skewers. When the bowl came out, I was so impressed. The broth was DELICIOUS!!! Way better than any hot pot Ive been to. So flavorful. Skewers were great too. Our favorite was the popcorn chicken and grilled beef. We will be back. The bowl was addicting. But if you are not used to spice, please get the most mild broth you can get. We will be back!

Prices were very in clear you really need to be careful when it comes to these stores, without knowing you can spend 50$+ on just one bowl, I came during grand opening a while ago it was very clean but I dident feel welcomed cuz next door business was booming!
