Excellent breakfast!

The staff was rushing and fairly unfriendly as a result. Food took forever. No opportunity for a coffee refill. Disappointing experience.

Such a home comfort place to dine. Especially for breakfast and lunch. Dona really does an amazing job taking care of us. The kitchen staff is also amazing. Highly recommend Bunchberry!

This is a diner - and for this class of restaurant Bunchberry is pretty darn good. The breakfast menu is quite broad with lots of options, the food is good-great and service is friendly and fast. And the prices are very reasonable! On Saturdays go early, before 9:30, as the diner gets very busy after that.

Went here with family on a Saturday morning for breakfast. The place was quite full with only a few tables free. There was a great atmosphere Parking is free and was almost full. Service was friendly and fast. The breakfast was traditional and great. The home fries are excellent. Coffee is good and many refills. Menu is extensive with something for everyone. Traditional old style diner with interior decor to match. Great place for a big breakfast for the hungry.

My family and friends have been coming to this restaurant before it was bunchberry!! I went out for lunch with my girlfriend the other day ordered Chicken club with sweet potatoe fries salad with grilled chicken and soup . The chicken was off as in bad with both of our meals. The new owners charged me for the soup and sweet potatoe fries and the coffee. I can believe they charged us . I will definitely not be going back nor will our family. Ill make sure to let people know how we were treated after being loyal customers for the past 25+ years

Excellent food, super great service and very friendly staff! Every time I visit my friends in the area, we go here for breakfast/brunch. Their breakfast options are all delicious, with good proportions. We especially love the pancakes as they are very soft and fluffy! Vegetarian options: Multiple vegetarian options if you eat eggs, with possibility to make minimal substitutions (replacing meat protein with egg protein) Parking: Small parking lot that gets filled up quickly in the mornings, especially on weekends. You will want to get in before the rush to snag a spot

Just had a great experience...My grandson ordered the avocado toast Benedict. It came with an unusual toast (he expected regular toast). He is allergic to peanuts so he asked. They did not know if had nuts so they happily replaced his lunch. The waitress was awesome.

Food and atmosphere was great. The only problem there were lots of dead flies on windows sills. Should be cleaned

This is our go to breakfast place. Service and food is always fantastic. Friendly servers, good portions and pricing! Highly recommended. Parking: Not a big parking space. You can park across the street or next door at peak times.

First time here... really nice experience we had a group of 7 but half of us were late. They were nice enough to wait for the others to come and take the order. Really good portion of food for the money that youre spending. were so full that we didnt eat until late at night ... for sure well be back

The best part of the experience was not having to wait at all, the cooks are throwing it down back there. The sparkling booths and checkerboard make for a fun atmosphere. The breakfast here was only ok. The potatoes were bland, the syrup is the fake kind, the HP sauce and Frank s sauce bottles looked like they had been refilled repeatedly. We wouldn t dare use them. Coffee refills are not automatic. We were charged for a second coffee when we asked for a refill. It s just not the kind of service you expect in a bustling diner. Service could ve been better. The hedges outside are overgrown with weeds too. The makings are here for a good diner, but more effort all around will improve the experience.

I have been twice now. Amazing both times.

Food was ok. Had calamari but chewy and fishy. Poutine was good but better if the gravy was hot. Service was bad. She took our order brought our food and that was it. Never checked on us once. We needed refills but she was too busy talking to friends.

An excellent breakfast! My steak Benedict was absolutely delicious with the meat flavorful and grilled perfectly to my liking. I will absolutely order that again.

First time at this establishment and WOW is all I can say. The food and service was like no other. I really enjoyed there breakfast (Bennys was so delicious.). Such a friendly family establishment. Very clean. Portions were plenty and our waitress Liz was such a delight and on point with our first time at this restaurant. We did not feel rushed like some other places that my family has dined at. Our waitress took the time to go over the menu and was very attentive with my coffee refills. Will definitely be going back again soon.

I was travelling to Aurora yesterday and while my way back I spotted this Diner BUNCHBERRY DINER. Since, I am fr, Mississauga and the city thrives on versatile food from all cultures, yet, unfortunately we have dont have much traditional Diners, and so, I decided to try out Bunchberry. The server was very friendly, and helped me to chose from menu. The American steak that I ordered was really a big serving, amazing and juicy taste with mash potatoes, mushroom, carrots. Its gravy with blackpepper corn was very delicious. Highly recommend this place to visit, and enjoy its old fashioned family run local Diner food. Simply to say.... AWESOME..! Parking: more than 20+. Greek salad. No dressing. Just a bunch of lettuce with almost nothing else. If you re a rabbit this would be great. For people? Tasteless and a rip off. Do better. Take out - should have checked before I left with it.

The food was simply superb, every bite a delightful explosion of flavor.

Very mediocre breakfast. The service was really good, but the food was the same as Wimpy or something of this sort. Nothing original, nothing interesting, and not really delicious. The bacon was too dry but not crispy. Cheese on a skillet was but melted. Dont remember all the details but absolutely nothing special. Dont think wed come there again.

I had the opportunity to eat at Bunchberry Diner today. Overall the cost was appropriate for a brunch diner. Service was quick and efficient. Under $20 for steak and 3 eggs and tasted great. Steak could have been cooked a minute longer but thats okay. The waitress was attentive and courteous. If Im in the area again Ill certainly go again.

The sign may say All Welcome but it certainly didn t feel that way today. My girlfriend and I chose this place for breakfast for its fun retro vibe, but we expected only the decor to be from the past. The food was fresh but our servers attitude certainly was not. There was no friendliness, just the bare minimum communication and she avoided eye contact as much as she could. I don t think our eyes met for more than a slight glance as she was focussed on looking away. I might attribute it to nervousness but she seemed to be friendly and chipper with her other customers. She clearly served us because she had to but it was clear that she didn t want to. The food was delicious, well portioned, and visually pleasing but the general feeling of being unwelcome and unaccepted was too much to ever want to return. I would not recommend this place to anyone who would have faced discrimination in the 50s. It seems like that attitude is a combo package with the cute booths and milkshakes.

First time visiting this diner. Our waitress was friendly, quick service. Good portion and price is decent. Their home fries is better than Eggmart for sure, prices are cheaper then Markham Station. On the other hand Milkshake is a bit small for the price, Markham station has a thicker and bigger milkshake for similar price. Overall, it is a good all-day breakfast place for a family to enjoy. Parking: Limited parking. There might not be a enough parking if the diner is at full capacity. Kid-friendliness: Lots of booths for family of 4. Friendly staff

Have been there for breakfast before and enjoyed it so we ordered dinner through a delivery app. Definitely one of the best places for delivery orders. Food was amazing and packaged with so much care. When we received the order it was still steaming hot. Will definitely be back!

Excellent food, excellent portions, and excellent prices. Went with a group of 5 and 4 of 5 of the meals were superb. Only disappointment was the chocolate chip pancakes which werent necessarily chocolate chip, but more of a chocolate spread ontop of a plain pancake and were also overtly sweet. The lunch meals are also delicious. A great spot for breakfast/lunch

Just came back from Dog Tales and wanted a quick lunch. Classic diner vibes and food. Generous portions, not too greasy and everything came out fast. Our server was a bit grumpy and didn t bring us water til we asked the third time but overall not bad.

The portions are more than ample and well cooked. Could do with some friendly background music. The type everyone has on their playlist. I liked it last time and I liked it this time. Went there for dinner in Saturday night. Kids meal had chicken fingers burnt - i bad to scrape off some stuff so our kid can enjoy her meal Fish ans chips are ok Pulled pork poutine - could be better. Portions are big but quality desires to be a tad higher. Would we return? I doubt it.

Fantastic food ! Very well seasoned and big healthy portions. However service was terrible, we had Amber as our waitress and my husband had to go looking for her few times , coffee refill , plate clearing , utensils, getting the bill.. ect. I felt like he became our waiter lol We would be back for sure, just maybe we would ask to sit in the other section.

Came in with my friend in lives in the area and I can see why he comes here. Great service and good food at fair prices. Plenty of tables and booths to choose from and the food came out fast even with the dining room almost full on a Sunday morning. Coffee was good and refills timely. Definitely be back when I m in the neighbourhood.

We go here every week. Weve tried lots of different menu items and for the most part enjoyed everything. The nachos werent that great. The breakfasts are always good, especially the omelets. The French toast isnt always consistent. Sometimes its a bit soggy. The staff is always great. The atmosphere is cute. Like an old-fashioned diner.

A nice family restaurant. I think they changed name and owners for a few years. First time visit under new management. Very classic interior design , food & service is good. My special experience in this restaurant , first time in my life...... a young gentleman has paid my bill .....by the time I noticed , he has left already. The waitress told me that, you are lucky today, someone has paid your bill ! . Oh ! I didnt know who he is ? I only remember that he wears long hair, reading a book while enjoying his breakfast . I didnt get a chance to thank him. Hope he can get a chance to read this post and know that I wanted to thank him. Thank You!

I m so glad we stumbled upon this little diner. The smoked salmon Benedict was delicious. The serving kept me full all day. The service was great. It was busy in there at 11:30 am but we still got our food quickly. Will be back again!!!

If I could give more stars I would. Bunchberry is the best place ever. The staff are the friendliest people, and the food is always so tasty. So much choice on the menu, everything we ve had, from breakfast to dinner, is always incredible.

I had breakfast while waiting for an appointment and I was not disappointed. The waitress was super quick and efficient and ran the front of the house all by herself. I saw her greet her regular customers with coffee and promptly put in their order. They have a nice selection for morning special and generous plates. Good place for breakfast!

I came to Bunchberry on a Sunday for Breakfast. there is limited parking but absolutly worth you waiting for a spot. the diner is super cute and the customer service and food are outstanding. if this is your first tie going I recommend the caramelized Apple French toast.

I had a nice brunch with my mom. The food proportions were really good. Everything was tasty. The service was amazing. The atmosphere was so so it was really busy. I felt like it wasn t really organized at the front but I guess they were shortstaffed but everything tasted great. I just wish they cook the turkey bacon a little bit more. It felt kind of raw to me even though it s not really raw But it was too soft. They didn t ask what I wanted.

Place has an old dinner feel, shiny leather booths, but its very clean. The food was delicious and my kids really enjoyed the milkshakes. The staff were very friendly and didnt take long for food to be served. Definitely stopping.of and trying something different on the.menu next time in area.

ITS A REAL DINER! I am obsessed with this breakfast place because of the atmosphere. Its got the checkerboard walls the red glitter seats and booths. I can order a healthy breakfast or a big fat breakfast if I want. I can even order a burger for breaky. I really like the special because it comes with pancakes, eggs, toast and breakfast potatoes ( which are to die for btw). I really like the staff they are quick and efficient. I got my breakfast after 5 mins of ordering it with all the extras already set on the table. I have nothing to complain about and I will keep going here :)

Dont take my star rating the wrong way. This is a great old school diner. Service is good. Food is good. Atmosphere is what I want when I go to a place like this. I go here often for a reason. Its kind of for old people so food could be seasoned a bit better but they make good meals for me to take my mom to for a nice lunch. Check it out just know what you in for!

Service was excellent. She was attentive, and friendly. I ordered avocado toast eggs Benedict . Sadly it was cold. I know avacado and bruschetta are cold, so maybe thats what affected my eggs. I didnt complain, I ate it. It was delicious. If the bruschetta and avacado had been room temperature it wouldve helped Im sure. My husband had a skillet and his was also not hot. Somewhat warm he said. My 1st experience with this place and I was recommended to go there. Wed likely give them another try.

Food is ok. Nothing super special. However I was simewhat upset with the lack of flexibility and accomodation for diatery restrictions. There is no way to replace parts of the meal like home fries and toast with healthier options of the same value. The only option was to replace the fries with 4 slices of tomato. Nothing else. Not coming again Dietary restrictions: Really bad at accomodating dietary restrictions
