First time trying Korean fried chicken. Lets just say, love at first bite

What a shame. Online order and app doesnt work as payment keeps erroring out after trying multiple credit cards and several times. Yes the cards work fine as they were used earlier in the day and after speaking to my bank. Not this locations fault but they dont have the same promos in store as the website or app. No new customer today!

The dine in was an amazing experience. Everything was laid out and prepared for us to order. The server was attentive and told us about the daily special. We ordered several items, and they came super hot and fresh. The chickens were tender and juicy, full of flavour. I personally preferred boneless options. We tried one with bone, and it didnt have as much meat as boneless. Overall, it was a great experience. The server provided extra water and napkin without us mentioning it.

Our go to place for the Korean style chicken in the area. Always testy and fresh chicken. Service is very nice and welcoming too. Their boneless golden fried chicken & cheese balls are our favorite!

Last night we went to this place and it was terrific the best ever fried chicken we had in Ontario , staff was very friendly and decent people and great customer service, above all the place was beyond our expectations clean and tidy , no oil smell and not greasy tables as you see in most restaurants!!

Is this restaurant Korean owned? I dont know. But the flavor of the Korean fried chicken is exquisite. Most of the business is takeout so there is not a ton of seating so it might be a good idea to call ahead if you have a large group.

The cheese bul-dak is very delicious, as well as the Golden fried chicken!!! Nice place to hang out with friends and the staff are very friendly and nice, especially Yoki, she provides very good explanations and recommendations when we were placing the order. Will visit this location again!!!

Great chicken! We ve been trying out different Korean fried chicken places out and this place is great! Hubby got the soy garlic wings which he rates a 4.5/5 and I got the wings of fire, which I would also rate a 4.5/5 as I didn t find them very spicy but I am known as a spice fiend . The breading on the chicken is really crispy and the chicken is very juicy! Service is great and the atmosphere is very welcoming. Can t wait to go again to try more on the menu!

Words on the menu TV is so small its nearly impossible to read. Waitress/staff dont greet people coming in even if they have nothing to do. Chicken tastes amazing however, seemingly makes up for everything.

Love the fried chicken. They were literally so crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. There is only one server so shes always looking stressed. I think they need another person working in the front during the busy hours. We will definitely come back to try the other items and flavours.

Super yummy fried chicken. Golden fried chicken was mildly spiced with crunchy batter. So tasty. Great friendly service.

Food was decent but having to wait for 40 mins for the food is ridiculous. It is probably a problem with the kitchen and the waitress did offer us a 20% discount and a small salad. One thing that can be done better is if they know the order is getting pushed back they can tell the customer and ask whether they want to stick with their order and wait or order something else.

Excited and happy that another chain has landed in Aurora! Chicken and fries are excellent as expected of this chain, just personally find the chicken to be not as flavorful as other Korean fried chicken, but the juiciness of the chicken is definitely all there. Excellent choice to add to the rotation of take out meals.

It was my first time and it was scrumptious. Even when it was cold, the flavour still good. I had it take out, Ate for dinner with the pickle radish. No need to eat with ketchup. Its great on its own. I will go back to try the other flavour. Thank you!

Food and service were both amazing. We had the BBQ salad. cheesling chicken, fries, gabi chicken and one other which I cant remember.. all fantastic! Portions were huge and excellent value. Well be coming back.

The fried chicken is soo good. We tried cheesling, gangjeong, and BB chicken wings, and pulled chicken poutine. The chicken was really crispy and juicy. The gangjeong had a sweet and spicy sticky taste. Cheesling is wonderful for cheese lovers. The chicken wings are insanely crispy, but if you like your wings saucy then you might want to try another flavour. The pulled chicken poutine had crispy fried and delicious chicken, but unfortunately the cheese curds werent fully melted.

We got take out on Sat and went for lunch during weekdays. Weekends they are busy.. and surprisingly it is better quality on weekend as the chicken and wings are more juicy compare with a not busy weekday lunch. Maybe the oil they use are brought up to good temperature as they kept it boiling. Overall it is good.

First time here. We got two wings combo. The first one as BB and the second as Gang Jeong. As an app, we went with the spicy fries. They were all delicious. The Gang Jeong wasnt spicy at all. The BB was excellent if you are into dry spice. The spicy fries had some heat. Packaging is phenomenal.

We drove there for an hour and a half. There were only two employees on Friday. After waiting for more than half an hour, we were told that the kitchen couldnt find the order. In the end, we didnt get the food. The waitress was nice, but the schedule was ridiculous. No. Will come again

I ordered take-out, and the chicken was still crispy when I got home after 15 mins drive. The batter was not too thick, not too think, its just right. Flavour was on point, loved the spiciness and the garlickiness. Price is on the higher end, almost double of the typical fried chicken joint like Popeyes or KFC, but I think it is worth to try considering their quality.

I bought three pieces of fried chicken rice. The rice was very hard, as if it had been left out for a long time.

I ordered the hot crispy chicken, and it had just the right amount of kick to it. Really flavourful too. The servers were fast and friendly as well. I would definitely be returning soon!

Food was great, chicken was nice and crunchy and we tried about 5 different ones and special sauce would be my favourite of the bunch. Service was good, she was friendly and prompt with getting us drinks and water etc. Not to many places to sit though so on a busy Saturday or Friday night could get crowded for seating but also ordering this and taking it home would be great as well.

Had a great time with a few friends. Their chicken is really crispy and tender. They have so many different flavours, so hard to choose. I really enjoyed the original, flavourful and not greasy.

My friend went twice and had a bad reaction with the food when she had allergies. She told them about her allergies and both times the food was contaminated. When telling them about the reaction, the staff said don t come back . The customer service is abysmal. Having worked in service, this is something you never say and it baffles me how they are able to say that when this is a valid concern.

Im a BBQ chicken enthusiast, and I couldnt resist trying it even when i went to Korea. So, I know my KFC(Korean Fried Chicken). Opting for the BBQ Chicken in Aurora due to its proximity, I placed an online order and picked it up. Having been a fan of BBQ chicken from Yonge & Major MacKenzie, I anticipated a similar taste and quality. Unfortunately, this turned out to be the worst Korean fried chicken experience Ive ever had. The $24, 8-piece package included three tiny pieces with mostly bones and no meat(looked like scrsp pieces), and the taste was far from what I expected. Disheartened by both the appearance and flavor, we didnt even consume the chicken. At $3 per piece, I understand costs have risen, but this was excessive. A week later, when I made my own fried chicken using a similar-sized portion, I got over 15 pieces from half of the chicken, and it tasted so much better. So, the $24 chicken was so much less than half of chicken. In the future, Ill stick to my usual spot or make it at home. This experience was a letdown for Korean chicken, and BBQ Chicken should prioritize better quality control before expanding. I hope this review sheds light on the situation. While I prefer writing positive reviews, experiences like this make it challenging. Torontos food vendors need to step up to elevate the industry, and its disheartening.

Ive been eating Korean BBQ chicken for over 30 years. Im a person who loves Korean BBQ chicken. Honestly, it tastes different from other BBQ chicken branches. It doesnt taste like real Korean BBQ chicken. It feels like the Chinese store owner is imitating the taste of Korean BBQ chicken. Im not sure if its a fake bbq chicken branch or real, but if its real, youll need to get the recipe again from headquarters, and if that happens, your rating will go up again. I sincerely hope my feedback will be helpful

Terrible service. I called an hour ahead of time to place my order and BOTH times I did this I still had to wait 20 minutes. Ridiculous

Walked in for some lunch takeout and got a boneless chicken combo. Service was great - the girl at the counter walked me through what s popular, and the various options. Once ordered, food was ready quickly and I was on my way. Similar prices to other chicken places, but the tastes are unique to other K-chicken places in the area. The pieces of chicken are huge, crunchy, seasoned well, and tender inside. The fries are crispy and not overly greasy. Great spot in the area for lunch/snacks w/drinks.

Was excited when I heard bbq chicken is coming to Aurora. But the fried chicken in this location is not nearly as crispy as other locations, sauce taste the same but overall texture isn t great. Disappointed, hope they can improve.

First experience from Ubereats delivery was not the greatest. However, the owner took extra effort to make things right. The second time was picking up take out at the restaurant. The restaurant was neat and clean; the servant was very nice as well. The chicken I reordered this time were secret sauce and gangjeong and they were both fresh and flavourful. Worth a try if you crave for Korean fried chicken in the area!

Quick pickup service and the chicken was tastier than other locations. The marinade actually go to the center meat of the pieces.
