Bbq and the seafood pan cake were very delicious. Kimchi can be better.
I recently visited 3000 miles Korean restaurant with friends and our kids for dinner after going to air riderz in Aurora location and we were thoroughly impressed. The owner's warm welcome set the tone for a fantastic evening. The restaurant's decor transported us to Korea, with vibrant drawings and traditional accents that eerily reminded me of my travels there. The ambiance was cozy and inviting. We ordered chicken katsu, Korean glass noodle and shrimp fried rice for the kids and BBQ menu(pork belly, beef) for the adults. Every dish exceeded expectations - flavors were bold, and portions generous. The kids devoured their meals, and we adults savored the delicious BBQ. Standout service from the owner, who ensured our needs were met throughout. Highlights: - Authentic Korean atmosphere - Delicious, varied menu options - Attentive, friendly owner - Kid-friendly We'll definitely return to this restaurant again...If you're craving genuine Korean cuisine with exceptional service in Aurora area look no further.
Service and atmosphere is good. Food quality honestly not good. Flavor is not good at all . Price is not cheap for the quality of food that they give you.
I recently dined here and had a pleasant experience. The food was decent, with some dishes, standing out. However, the kamjatang needed more .The staff were attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable. The atmosphere was inviting, with a cozy and comfortable setting that combined modern and traditional Korean decor. While the food wasn’t extraordinary, the excellent service and pleasant ambiance make it worth a visit for a friendly and enjoyable meal. ---
I recently had the pleasure of dining at and trying out this restaurant, as we had not been there yet. Korean cuisine, particularly KBBQ, is often my preferred choice. The food was satisfactory, although I had to specifically request the Ssamjang sauce without sesame oil, salt, and pepper. The ambiance was serene, likely because it was a weekday. The establishment had a conveniently located call button for service since only two servers were attending to the guests.
It was very disappointing. We had the mixed meats spicy hot pot. Ive seen these on youtube but for the price these were super cheap meats. I yanked the slice of processed cheese as soon as it came out so its not on the picture. The meats were spam, hotdog, sausage and small pieces of pork belly or bacon that disintegrated into the soup pretty quickly. The tofu was really soft and the toedokki was thinly sliced. It came with 2 sides of rice and 4 side dishes. Really pretty inside but should’ve listened to the other reviews about really cheap cuts of meats. I could make better at home for cheaper. Really disappointing. Wont be coming back.
Korean fried chicken is good, but not as good as mid-town Korean fried chicken restaurants (Yonge/Finch). Hot pot spicy pork suppose a signature Korean dish, which represents the quality of the restaurant - quite disappointed here - soup texture too thin, and not hot enough. Service is fine, clean environment.
Decent Korean food in the T&T plaza, have visited this place a couple times and the servers have always been nice. We ordered the fried chicken, the batter was different from other Korean fried chicken spots, but still good. We really enjoyed the sauce for the chicken, which really made the chicken good. The soups here are decent. We also did try the Korean bbq but was a bit pricey for the portion. Overall pretty decent for Korean food.
Very kind staff, it was my first time having kbbq and the female owner was very helpful in explaining how everything worked and what would be the best deal for my group, highly recommend and I will be going back again
Good spicy bbq with super friendly staff!
Tasty normal korean bbq f chako fake korean bbq
Wonder staff and great food ! Thank you ! Vegetarian options: they have some dishes that are vegetarian Dietary restrictions: Allergies to beef and pork: they were very accommodating and kind. Parking: Lots of spots.
Everything was incredible, definitely going back soon.
Very nice ladies (mother and daughter) who took my order for takeout. BUT ordered what was supposedly the most popular soup and dumplings. The soup was incredibly poor/bad especially for the steep price. Full of large beef bones (which was seemingly the spine of the cow); a large piece of cartilage and just a couple of very small pieces of potato. And then the broth which was very ordinary tasting. The dumplings were fine. Altogether just POOR. Would never go back.
Great food and portions!! Very friendly staff
Food are not tasty at all .price are expensive .low quality food for what the price we paid..not come back to this place again.
The landlady is very nice and the food is very enjoyable. great place, nice service and clean. Good food. Had a great fathwesday celebration.
The service was great - the woman who served us was really fun, funny, helpful and kind - we loved her! The banchan were very good, especially the radish and kimchi. The kimchi was especially flavourful and had a nice punch to it. The haemuljeon and tteokbokki were really good as well! The booths were roomy and comfortable. Only 4 stars because I have to be fair: the pork belly was a little too thin, the gamjatang wasnt very hot, and the BBQ meal doesnt come with lettuce or rice - you have to pay extra for that (lettuce is an extra $6. And I think rice was an extra $3-$4). So $10ish dollars just for rice and lettuce. Thats a little overpriced and Im used to those things being included with the meal. Overall had a nice experience. Aurora has needed some decent Korean places for a while now. We will definitely go back again!
I very much enjoy eating here. The service is always amazing, its wonderful to BBQ the bulgogi and the meal comes with a gamjatang. Lovely flavour and quality meat.
The food is already bad and they are sold to customers! I don t recommend going to this restaurant for takeout! ordered honey garlic chicken wings, but the wings were acesented with a strong badly smell! Won t recommend this restaurant to any of my friends!
Poor service , mediocre food, lukewarm tea and dirty washrooms. Server never even came around to see how our meal was or if we needed anything. Will not be going back.
Worst Korean fried chicken. I spoke to the manager who assured me the chicken was fresh . The chicken batter has no taste and dried blood was all over . Not coming back here.
Ordered a hot pot, im expecting a home made/fresh noodles insted recieve a instant noodles, not coming back.
Im not sure what has happened since their first opening, but their soups now taste like its 3000 miles away from its initial quality. Havent tried their BBQs yet, so I cant comment on those.
We had gamjatang hotpot and it was good and we had a free refill on the soup. Server was very helpful with ordering food and friendly. Highly recommend to try Korean Hotpot. I want to try the Korean Fried Chicken next. Parking: We had no problem finding spots since we all came in separate cars.
Ive gone a few times food quality is always great. The last two times, Ive gotten the fried chicken, and it was very good. The service tends to be on the slow side, but unless youre in a rush, its no big deal.
Below average food and service. I was already disappointed that they don t have the egg grill nor lettuce which is common in k-bbq. The pork belly was dry and bland, worse than what I can get from grocery store. Server didn t give bowls nor napkins until asked. Never have I went to a k-bbq where they said they will charge for changing the grill plate. I can t believe it.
Rude server, very discourteous Pretended she couldnt understand us. Wouldnt give us a bag to to carry boxed food. By the time we got home it was a mess Very bland food although ordered spicy Perhaps they think people from the west like it that way The severs stood behind the counter looking very unfreindly as they gawked at us. They project as very racist Good place to avoid
Definitely pricier than alternative KBBQ locations, but you get what you pay for. Probably the best all you can eat KBBQ from Newmarket to Richmond Hill/Markham area. 13-Apr-2023, the location no longer serves all you can eat Korean BBQ.
Love the style of the restaurant. The server was nice. They have a call bell if you need something. The service was fast. Food was delicious but a bit pricey.
They could improve on their service.
We had my nephews 16th birthday dinner. Very happy with the foods and service. It ended up being about $50 each for 9 of us. Kid-friendliness: All the stuff we re incredibly friendly!!!!
Food is good here, big space and very clean. Portions are pretty good here. Service could ve been a little better considering we were the only few tables there.
Nice
Delicious food and great service!
Not a true Korean BBQ experience if thats what you are looking for. Meat looks to be frozen for awhile, the grill showed black char from not cleaning thoroughly from prior use. Bathroom floor is sticky from grease. Overall, the meal was overpriced for the quality of food and the experience of dining in, so will never return.
A very beautiful place to dine with your families or date nite very good service and I never had a problem with the food so far I recommend this place
New experience with this Korean BBQ. Friendly, attentive staff, clean atmosphere. Large portions of meat to cook - seafood pancake was good. Enjoyed the experience.
Food was good and plentiful very friendly staff not a fan of seafood pancake
Amazing
Upon entering the restaurant, we were pleasantly greeted by the manager, Cici, who right away guided us to our table. She was so friendly and welcomed us as if we were entering a relatives home for dinner We ordered the Hwang Ha Jeongol hot pot The pork belly slices, pork bone, dumplings, enoki mushrooms and various vegetables all boiling in a delicious broth was an exceptional dish! We highly recommend it! It came with two bowls of hot rice We also ordered the Fried Crispy Chicken! It was so crispy on the outside and so juicy and tender on the inside, with a subtle ginger flavour. Korean fried chicken are undoubtedly the best, and this restaurant makes freakin good chicken! We will try the different flavours next time and know we wont be disappointed! We will definitely be back again soon!
This is the worst Korean BBQ Ive ever had so far. The typical fatty juicy pork belly tastes like woodchip in this place. Not sure how they managed to do that. They also put 0 effort on the appetizers (side dishes), not fresh and no flavour whatsoever. Seafood pancake was not bad but you can taste the MSG or some flavour enhancer in it, the seafood itself is not that high of quality either. The older waitress was nice enough but the owner doesnt have a clue.
Excellent small family business dedicated to serving authentic Korean cuisine and surely the sides, and the mains were extraordinary. Prices were very good for the portion and quality of food. The pork bone soup is very good and authentic- Will definitely return
Yummy delicious food! My new go to for Korean near my home.
I ate the buffet barbecue, the waitress is good. The cold noodles are delicious.
So, I asked the server the menu says minimum of 2 barbecque orders, so can I order 1 order of pork and 1 order of beef? He said, I dont know. I asked another server. She basically dont know either. She told me to order the family combo that have both beef and pork to select from. But I dont want those limited and subpar cuts. Thats very stupid if its true. This means if I go with 2 people, I must eat beef only or pork only or eat subpar cuts. I dared not to try and order cause if its that stupid, I dont want to end up with 4 orders of meat. So, I ended up ordering the classic pork bone soup. Its good. But half the pork is still cold. I had to let it soak in the hot broth for a while so they warm up. Edit: I forgot I came here before. I came again. Pork Bone Soup was bland and looked bad. Soon Tofu was bland and cold. Rice was semi raw.
went here on a Thursday night and it was pretty empty the server was very sweet and accomodating to all of our needs we went for the bbq and ordered the min 2 meats. the meats were good in quality however very thin. wouldve wanted the pork belly a bit thicker. otherwise, it was all delicious
I give five starts for this establishment due to the hilarious response from the owners , why would you ever eat here LOL go check out Vivian changs review
The best pork bone soup!!!!!!
The food can be a hit or miss tbh.
Great service and relaxing atmosphere. Very quiet; however, service was fantastic. Very comfortable and unique. First time visiting and definitely recommend this place. Food is great too and tasty.
Tastes good but portion size is a bit less
This place is great. Food quality and quantity was great. The burners get really high for flash bbq beef. You can also controll the burner strength. Service was on point.
Unfortunately, I don t feel welcomed in this restaurant, the servant is giving me this cold face the whole time. Sides dishes were never served until I specifically requested. There were not many customers in the time I dined in but the servant not even bother once to checked how was I eating. Disappointed.
The food and service here are great!
Poor customer service.
The atmosphere is nice servers are ok. Food is very expensive and not worth the price. I ordered the beef ribs Kalbi, its was a nice portion but the meat didnt taste anything like Kalbi beef. Dissatisfied but the overall experience was good.
Decent
Love coming here to eat, great food and great service. Ive tried their alacarte and kbbq options and they dont disappont! Will be coming back for more soon
I had beef head soup and it was really delicious. The glass noodles were firm and good.
Portions are very big and delicious
Yummy food and over average portions
Food is okay, a bit on the pricey side compared to regular Korean restaurants. For BBQ, they charge extra for rice and lettuce wrap along with garlic and green peppers. Most other Korean BBQ places give those as complimentary items. Quite disappointed.
The worst food and experience ever. The stafff are horrible and the owner/chef is crazy. Stay away!!
Food was good service really was bad had to constantly go up to counter to remind them of what I order still never came 2 thumbs down on service please retrain staff on this problem. Wont be spending my money here thanks but no thanks not impressed.
Would give 0-stars if I could. There was hair in our food. Sent it back and it was just tossed with no replacement and no adjustment to our bill. Customer service was awful. Made excuses instead of correcting their mistake, so we paid the bill and left.
good
Dont waste your time here... If i could give it a negative star I would. Went for dinner tonight with the family ordered the Cold noodles, Kalbi, Bulgogi and spicy seafood platter. Noodles were ok not great... Kalbi and Bulgogi were terrible...Fatty short ribs and Bulgogi was pretty bland. The Seafood platter was watery and undercooked and the Gamjatag had an odd flavor to it. All of this paled in comparison to the service from our server. Just terrible... No smile... no nothing, just a sour look....never once came to check on the meal or even replace or check in on the hot table. Im not one to complain very often but it truly was not a good experience. If you want good Korean food in the area go to the Owl or anywhere else. Friendly service and the food never disappoints. Its a shame as Ive been there few times with friends after golf and never really had any issues. Will not be going back and will not be recommending it after today.
Waste of time. Server very rude. Can t speak or understand English.
TLDR: hair in food (-1 star), raw chicken (-1 star), incompetent server (-1 star), rude chef (-1 star), end result 1-star review. Today I came here with my wife for some cold noodles, seafood tofu stew, and their half-half chicken. Cold noodles was OK and I guess it is really hard to screw up cold noodles. After my wife found 2 hairs out of the tofu stew, we notified the server as an FYI and saying maybe the chef needs to wear a hair net. Then one of the chicken was raw in the middle. With these two things, we would have rated a 3-star to be fair. However, the server was really incompetent and lacks feedback. We told him there were hairs in the soup and chicken was raw, and after he went back to the kitchen and that was the end of it. Ok I guess the server can be inexperienced. We can give him the benefit of the doubt, but any proper restaurant would make sure to train the servers properly prior to letting their new servers running solo. So at least there are training issues at this restaurant. This brings the rating down to a 2-star. But wait there is more! Now the most appalling thing happened after we paid and ready to head out. The chef came out, ironically without a hair net, and wanted to see the hair we found in the soup. After showing her the short one we found (the first one was a long one but we threw it on the ground instead of putting it on a napkin), she told us she cooked the soup, she has long hair, so it couldnt be hers. Well my wife has long hair too so its not hers neither but the fact we found hair in the soup is just basic lack of quality. Then she asked if anything else was wrong, so we showed her the raw chicken. The chef then said it is the Korean juicy style chicken. Well unfortunately we know certain food can be consumed raw, such as beef, while others absolute cannot be consumed as raw food, such as chicken. We didnt want to argue with her so we just left. We cant believe the chef came out to tell us how right she is. Thats just plain lack of customer service and very rude. So with a rude chef, we decides they totally deserve this 1-star review.
house special crispy human hair chicken
Very disappointing experience. Took a group of 8 for a Korean BBQ experience. Should have checked it out on my own first. Service was challenging - servers did not really speak English or Korean. Menu is complicated and confusing. Food quality is meh. Should have done BBQ at home.
Food was bad and service was wor... Oh wait, I didnt get any service.
Terrible service and food not taste good. Waiter sitting there and playing his phone. We ask for napkin he give us the Bill. Not recommend for this restaurant.
This is my only Korean spot I would come back in aurora, food are fine, I do take out orders most of the time,. my only one time dine in experience wasn t so good, service were slow, hope the owner can make some changes, here s my five star good luck
The worse service ever period!
Food was very good and portions were fair. Their decor is an interesting combination of classic Korean art and K-pop, which was very interesting. I ll be back
The food isnt bad here. This was my 2nd time visiting the restaurant. I returned because of my first visit. The service I received the first time was amazing. But this time... I must say does not compare to the first. This time the service was HORRIBLE! We ordered the table cooking and the Korean fried chicken. Half and half. Original and Seasoned. My nephew had the original fried chicken, and he was almost done, when we realized the chicken he was having was a little on the raw side. When we made a complaint the answer we received was not what we expected..... It is cooked to be tasty was what they said to us... They did offer to throw it back in the fryer for us, but the meal was almost done. Also, not to mention, I dont think it is right to throw someones eaten food back into a fryer that others food gets cooked in. And especially with covid standards...i really dont think thats right. They did not offer any discount. Or even offer to cook us a new dish. The only thing we received was dirty looks and stare downs from the owners. The owner and the cook came out of the kitchen to stare at us and mumble something under their breath and walked back into the kitchen. Honestly I hesitated come here due to the fact that there were already a few bad review but I felt like I should give them a chance and try it for myself. But with how I was treated today, I will never come back.
We ordered the Seasoned Combo. There are enough meat for 5 to 6 people. Meat is good quality. Price is reasonable. Authentic Korean.
Service is awful, food is okay. Will not go back.
Service was terrible. Ordered the half and half chicken. One half was cooked thoroughly and the other half was pink all around inside which my son had ate. Both servers said it was their style of cooking chicken so why was the other half cooked differently? My son ended up having diarrhea the following day. On top of bringing back the chicken, they offered to put the already bitten chicken back in the fryer for us which we said no thanks to. One server even said to me if you had brought it to us earlier then we could have fixed it for you. My son was eating it and wouldnt have known better until we noticed how pink it was. What would have been the difference of providing service sooner rather than later? I guess you would get better service if you bring something to their attention within the first minute... Then two older gentlemen (owner or manager) stood outside of their kitchen doorway and stared at us. How is this place even still operating? Is it worth your horrible reviews to argue back with your customers as this seems to be an on-going issue. We should have come on to read the reviews prior to going. One of the worst places to experience.
The pork bone soup was delicious, perfect hot meal on a chilly day
The environment is nice, the food is okay, the waiter seems a little personal
We went to the restaurant for dinner a few days ago, and we were the only guests in the whole restaurant. When asking about the menu, the male clerk wore a mask, but his tone and attitude were obviously bad. The male clerk was always at the counter after ordering and delivery. When we finally got to check out, it might be about his service charge, so his attitude changed at the last minute, but after paying the bill, his attitude was still very uncomfortable. The meals were neither particularly tasty nor particularly cheap. Seriously, why go to a restaurant to see if the clerk has a bad attitude?
I wanted to eat all-you-can-eat, but it wasnt there now.
A bit pricey but quantity of food made up for it. Wish there was more items to grill.
Read the reviews tried it with ny boyfriend and i and was vary happy with the food and hospitality! Will return when i am feeling korean bbq again !
First time visit this Korean Restaurant for a quick lunch . The lunch set with potato soup and grilled fish is unexpectedly very good taste. The Korean side dishes are yummy too ! Next time have to try their BBQ meat !
Great food and lots of parking!
Yummy Korean food. Prices were reasonable. Restaurant is very spacious and staff was friendly.
Food was good, service was good. One dish was little raw and felt like place is overpriced.
Ordered the fried chicken whole half half. Not crispy, soggy when we got home. The batter used is like fried chicken youd get at a Chinese supermarket. Overpriced compared to the quantity and quality. Prefer MyMy or the fry more. Quite disappointed.
Not worth the money
Awesome service. Waitress was excited to have us and was very friendly. Food was delicious too
Dined inside and felt very safe inside our own booth. Staff was very courteous and helpful. Hand sanitizer was placed around the restaurant. Food was good.
Food was flavourful. Unfortunately staff was unattentive. Overall disappointing.
I visited 3000 Miles Korean Restaurant for a dine-in lunch, and it was wonderful. The staff sanitized the table before we sat down and wore a masks and gloves at all times. Our server was very sweet, and made sure to ask me if I was okay when I was obviously overwhelmed by spicy food She was so nice about it, lol! The food was amazing too, I really enjoyed the tteokbokki (it was the right amount of spicy, lol), the bulgolgi bibimbap and their half and half wings. They obviously put a lot of effort into their decor, and it really made for a lovely dine-in experience.
Pork bone soup is filling even as appetizer. 3x huge bones. Family BBQ menu for 3 with lots of extras. Our server, Sissies was wonderful
Good service and good food
My family loves the experiences here, the food quality is excellent, the fried spicy chicken is crazy good, and the service is always friendly, I find the portions to be good, and the price is reasonable. Thank you staff for always offering us a good service!
Bibim bow is good
its not original korean restaurant, its chinese korean restaurant, test is not good, very disappointed.
Pork bone soup was pretty tasty and filling. Support local!!
Good food for a date but a bit pricy
Sizable portions
Revisited last weekend. Food and service was great
Was really excited since this restuarant has so much on the menu but was very disappointed taste is not authentic at all
Unfortunately I can not comment on the food but the customer service or lack of I can definitely add my 2 cents. Not even worth a star! 3 weeks ago I called ahead to see if they had seating inside and was told yes lots. My husband, my son and myself arrived less than 15 mins later to be told we had to go on the patio. Inside was empty bar one table. We insisted we wanted to sit inside as it was too hot outdoors. The waitress that served us was rude, took our food order and avoided our table for the time we were in the restaurant. After 30 mins without even the appetizers we asked another waiter what the hold up was. Sorry we are very busy . People that arrived after us were all being served and we hadn t even got our dumplings. I asked that our entire meal be brought out. Appetizers came out 15 mins later and I was told chicken would be another 15 mins. I cancelled the order, was charged $22! I explained to what looked like a lady in charge that I was extremely frustrated at spending an hour waiting for food but that I was also charged for the drinks. I asked if I could speak to someone higher. She told me to call CeCe later. I did and was told that the owner would call because he understood better English. Over 3 weeks later I m still waiting. I very rarely write negative reviews but in all of my years living in Aurora and eating all different styles of food, and venturing to restaurants this was a very disappointing experience from the moment we walked in to the time we left! Wish I had read the reviews here first because I wouldn t have wasted my time and I suggest you don t waste yours either!
I order from here all the time through skip at work Food is very good even though not all the foods I want to eat are available on skip When you go to the restaurant: its clean and spacious. Totally random but everytime I go in and eat theyre always playing TWICE music either the owners are ONCES too or I got great timing
Friendly staff, food was great
Great variety, reasonable prices
We ordered a bbq grill set. It is enough for three persons with one soup, one appetizer, one dish, and two main meat dishes. The only down side is the pork&seafood tofu soup. It is the first time I hear a restaurant has such a thing on the menu. We asked for the removal of pork. Unfortunately they did not take it out. Everything else is quite good.
Lack of covid protocol. They made us to sit at the table right next to another table with customer. We asked if we can move to another table but they say they can t turn off the stove for the other table (which does not make sense because all they have to do is to switch it off- which they did last time). After we moved to another table they did not take away the utensils we touched from the original table. Poor organization and not customer safety oriented. Staffs were kind of rude, seems very unhappy working there. :(
Decent Korean restaurant. Offers Korean bbq but also a la carte. We did the a la carte this time, had the kalbi hotplate and spicy tofu, seafood and pork soup. The kalbi was not very tasty, the beef was over done and left with a bit too much char marks. The kalbi was also very hard to chew which really took some time to eat. As for the soup, it was a bit salty by itself, but if you paired it up with rice it was good. The sides had a good variety, I found the kimchi was a but too fermented for my liking. Overall the experience was okay, if you are looking for powerful flavours, this place is for you. Social distancing measures in effect. Vaccination passport is required for dine in.
Great food and service.
Finally tried this place out. No more all you can eat FYI. The lady working the kitchen was super nice and the food was okay. The chayote side dish was really tasty. Unfortunately the two of us got really sick after eating there. We checked for health inspection information when we got home and saw they did not pass last inspection and still haven t fixed the problem. No matter what I will not be going back even if they offered a free meal.
Absolutely the worst experience ever! Zero customer service, there was a fly in my food, and they still charged us?! no accountability, no apology and no I do not recommend this place.
I called and asked about their all you can eat today and they said they dont have a all you can eat lol little confused about why its not all you can eat but people are saying it is.
My fav korean restaurant
Really spacious seating. Service was great.
No longer does all you can eat
Best Korean Ive tried so far!
Great food, Great variety and friendly service. Love the decor too. My sister and I ordered from the lunch menu, bbq beef for 2. It was filling and delious.
This place would get a 5-star but the service wasnt the most attentive. My Gf and I went for all-you-can-eat on a Wednesday. The servers were all over the restaurant and forgot some of our food. Normally I dont care but it was in the middle of a snow storm and we were literally the only people there. Otherwise, this place is fantastic! The quality of food was great and it is my new favourite all-you-can-eat style experience. I think the marinated short beef rib was my favourite. We will be going back again for sure.
Good service, good food, just my favourite. Tried twice already, will definitely come back often.
Very nice place!!! Recomend!!
Culinary experience that brings to full circle to an authentic experience
Ordered Fried chicken from ubereats. Not tasty at all. The Fried chicken wings were supposed to be crispy but they were too soft. There are too much bread on the wings. I cannot eat them at all. The pork bone soup was not good also. I am still hungry after eating. It really didnt meet the standard at all. Not recommended on Ubereats.
Food was good and service was very friendly , would definitely go back
Quality and flavor of the food is great! Nice to have a local option for good Korean Bbq.
Very good food hot and fresh and the service was friendly
Ordered from them on uber eats, really awful
Ordered takeout to be picked up at a specific time. When I arrived the food was piping hot and ready to go! Staff on the phone as well at the pick up area were super friendly! Food was delicious. Ordered Gam Ja Tang (pork bone soup) and spicy rice cakes. Will be returning! Worth the drive.
Ermm.... if you havent tried this place, you are missing out!! Delicious food . Exceptionl service . Spacious area. Either sitting outside or inside (your choice). Its a lottt of food and we have extra to bring home enough for another meal for 2 people the best authentic Korean food in Newmarket Ps: complimentary Pork bone soup so generous
The best Korean restaurant in the Aurora and Newmarket area. Both food and service are pretty good.
waitress was helpful with adjusting fire, food was delicious
This place is awesome. We got a family set instead of AYCE and it was absolutely perfect. The cuts were nice, the options good, and the quality was great for the price. We like going off peak hours because we have a toddler.
My favorite Korean restaurant in Canada
Food tasted amazing. We will definitely be returning.
Good food and ok service
Easily the most authentic Korean bbq in the gta by far. Quality of meat is fantastic and the variety of spices and appetizers is amazing. Edit: came back a year later and was devastated. They took 20 minutes to seat us with a reservation and even with one they didn t come to take our order for another 30. Needless to say I won t be coming back
Definitely will not be returning. This is my second visit and thought Id give them another chance from the first mediocre visit. Overpriced for what it is and subpar service. Ordered takeout and was told it will be ready in 20minutes. Upon arriving, the restaurant was empty and they said I still had to wait. Eventually the food was ready in 40mins from when I first placed the order, and the staff just put the food on the table and left without even saying anything at all about the extra wait (even though the restaurant was empty!). I shouldve donated the money elsewhere instead of tipping. The food is mediocre. My fried chicken probably sat in the kitchen bagged up for over 20minutes and is completely soggy. When I picked up the bag, I can already see the steam soaked box and bag. 25 dollars for a plate of soggy fried chicken that has old dried up frozen vegetables as garnish and 26 dollars for soondae that is clearly frozen from supermarket and prepared very poorly. 2 stars instead of 1 as a covid bonus.
There was a mixup with our order so they had to prepare it after we had already arrived to pick it up. Ordered half and half fried chicken and chose original and spicy sauce. The spicy sauce was pretty good but the original was bland. Expensive for what you get compared to Korean fried chicken places closer to Toronto.
Absolutely delicious! !
I ordered a don katsu pork with rice today. My relatives ordered different kinds of soup base with rice. The don katsu is nice in the way that the deep fried pork is crispy and not oily. The sweet and sour sauce is also well balanced. The waitresses are attentive, generous and kind. A star is deducted because the pork is dry and less juicy. The variety of kimchi is not as rich as that during the grand opening.
Absolutely delicious! Recommend 100%
First time EVER at Korean bbq. Did NOT know what we were walking into. Didnt know much of the flavors so we did a family combo with 2 meats. We played it safe and went with the marinated beef and the marinated pork. We also chose the dumplings, the stir fried noodles and the pork bone soup. Everything, EVERYTHING, was very tasty. My favourite was the pork. It was so much fun to cook our own food at the table. Our meal was always hot lol. Being a mom, my food is rarely warm lol. Great experience all around. My husband and I will be back and more adventurous next time.
Probably my least liked Korean restaurant I eaten last 30 years ....... Never eaten a BBQ mackerel that was steamed or boiled like that...
The food was tasteless. No salt or taste at all. I got Bibimbap and instead of spinach I got lettuce. I will not be going back there again.
I usually dont give bad reviews, but I am going to this time because Im very disappointed in the service here. We came here around 7-7:30pm wanting to grab dinner. We were in a huge rush or anything, but we were hoping to be done in an hour or so. We waited at the front to be seated and was brought to our table shortly. It wasnt really at the restaurant; I saw maybe 4 other tables filled. Anyways, we placed our order (for the pork bone soup and sizzling bulgogi plate) and maybe 5 minutes later, our waiter came back saying that the pork bone soup I ordered was actually sold out. Alright, no problem - I ordered the soon tofu instead. So we waited for another 10 minutes, where another waiter came by and told us that the bulgogi was sold out. ... wait what. We waited for 15 minutes already and NOW you tell us that its not available? Could you not have told us this when we FIRST ordered? All this time we thought the food would be done, when they havent even started it. Sure... anyways, we changed the order to the seasoned Korean fried chicken. Service was pretty slow in general; we didnt get anything on our table except water while waiting. I saw other tables getting bunchan when they got their water, so I thought they could have at least done that so we could nibble or something while the food was delayed. Nope. I got my soon tofu maybe around 8:20 and we didnt get the chicken until 8:45. Honestly though, over an hour just to order and get food on the table. I have no complaints about the soup - it was fine. Nothing really special. The Korean fried chicken though, thats another story. So the Korean fried chicken DOES NOT LOOK LIKE THE PICTURE advertised. Ive been to Korean town in north York and know what seasoned Korean fried chicken is. I dont know what we got but it was seasoned-batter fried chicken. Nothing as what the picture shows. True authentic Korean fried chicken is fried with plain batter and then thrown in a gochujang-based sweet/ spicy sauce. The batter we got was VERY salty and not crispy. I could go on and on about the food and service here, but you get the jist of it. Basically, we ended up leaving the restaurant at 9:10-9:20pm. Almost 2 hours to get 2 mediocre dishes. TLDR; after considering the price, food quality/ taste and service, I will not be coming here again. In reply to your comment: This is a review of what I experienced at the restaurant. so of course everything is from my point of view - which means its subjective. Someone else who could have been at the restaurant at the exact same time may have experienced great service - but Im just stating a fact that it was not the case when I went. First off, I did not go to the restaurant yesterday - I went on September 28, 2020 around 7:30pm. Secondly, there is no racial discrimination to Korean food - if I wanted to discriminate ethnic food, would I go to an ethnic restaurant in the first place? Also, Im Asian by decent and actually make my own Korean food and eat it quite frequently - there is no need to pull the learning towards racial discrimination card because Im not. Because I eat a lot of Korean food and lived in Korea Town in North York, I had higher expectations on the food and service. If you believe everything I said was a lie, then thats what you think. If you dont believe me - take a look at the video of September 28, 2020 around the time my friend and I came in. I sat at the first table closest to the door coming in on the right hand side (right next to the window). Im not even talking about the food right now - just take a look at how long it took for them to let my partner know that the bulgogi was out and finally get the fried chicken to the table. I kid you not, it was over an hour. I have no problem talking to you directly about this in person - let me know and Ill give you a call.
Ordered takeout tonight, 3 orders of half and half chicken. Was told 30 mins on the phone. When we arrived around the 30 min mark, we were told another 20mins. Came back after 20 mins, and waited another 20 minutes before food was ready. All in all, we phoned in our order at 7pm, but food wasnt ready until 8:15. Food was good but the wait wasnt pleasant.
Great food!
Is not authentic Korean food. Fried chicken was absolutely covered in flour. No real crunch. Way to expensive for sub par to horrible rendition of Korean. Would high advise NOT to order the fried chicken
Visited often throughout COVID. In March they set outdoor grills for Korean BBQ which was EVEN BETTER than their standard KBBQ because of the Charcoal grills. Now that outdoor dining is less of an option I have been incredibly pleased with the quality of their takeout food and customer service. Best Korean place in the area!
Nice
Discontinued AYCE KBBQ and replaced with mediocre a la cart menu. Fried chicken are mostly fried batter.
This review is based on a week ago or 9 days from this date... anyway my dad and I came here for our first visit. We had lunch and ordered the jeongol and fried chicken. Both were very good. The owner (im assuming) she came for a chat and was very nice. We hope to come back soon.
Tried lots of the ala carte menu and love them all.
Very authentic and delicious!!!
We ordered the fried chicken for take out with sauce and even after the drive home it was still crispy. We also got the pancake which was flavourful and full of filling. We got the bibimbap as well but it was a little lacking only because we dont have a stone pot at home! Some dishes I think better to have in store when its allowed post pandemic :).
