Its gone down in terms of food quality....not fresh....wont be going back! And stop charging so much for a small drop of guac. What a rip off!!

I am genuinely devastated you stopped serving shrimp. That is what put mucho burrito on a different level. I drove 15 minutes to get to this location so, when I was told i can t get shrimp i felt terrible but didn t wanna waste that time driving to get nothing. I got a veggie burrito and it was ok. The chickpeas were RAW and GRAINY, the only good thing was the burrito sauce.

Worst Mucho burrito, today was my second time ordering from them and they literally have worst quality than others. Moreover their sauces are more watery and they do not keep plant based protein in the oven for as long as it is required. I know it because I have worked at Mucho Burrito and I know how it works but this store is disappointing. Especially when your order from uber.

Employees cant do their job apparently. I ordered through Uber Eats for my workplace and selected priority. It was supposed to be delivered at 12:15pm but I kept seeing the delivery time go up and up. I called at 12:40pm asking about the order - good thing I did because they hadnt even started making it. 25 minutes AFTER I was supposed to get it. Waste of my time and money. Be responsible and do your job next time.

Im not a big fan of franchises because they have limited menus and most of the time the quality of the food is very poor and inconsistent. Anyway, here in Aurora, we have a Mucho Burrito so my husband ordered a veggie burrito. The server is very stingy with portions and always seems to be in a hurry to serve the next customer. The burrito in general is ok, but the salad isnt well-cut; instead, its in large chunks fit for pigs. Heres a photo of the poorly cut onion and bell pepper for my burrito:

I come here every weekend; they have the best Mexican food in town as well as their salsa and the employees and service are great too. I wish they had enchiladas too I would like to try those one day.

Visited this location Monday May 20 1:45 pm and took me till 2:05 to get 2 bowls. I was interested to place a order for buy one get one bowl deal on Uber eat but there was no option for me to add instruction of wanting the sauce on side, so I decided to come in person and drove 20 minutes. When I arrived I was not greeted and kindly explained to the male worker my request and he passed me to another female worker and they called the owner.. when I spoke with owner he approved that I can place the order on Uber eat and let them know I want the sauce on side. So after that phone call I was ready to order and another set of customers came but they helped the new walk in customer instead of me. The female staff started to refill and clean her station while avoiding eye contact with me. So I waited and it s already 2:00 pm. Than when she is done doing all her own stuff she helps me. I kindly let her know I want the sauce on side because I don t want it to get soggy and she drizzled the sauce right front of me even though right before we got to sauce station I told her I wanted the sauces on side. It was already 2:05 and I was already there for 20 minutes and already payed for the bowls on Uber eat or else I would ve asked her to remake it. Right now it s 5:45 and I can t even eat the bowls and payed $18 and wasted it. Not even a sorry or have a great day was said. Very disappointed and will not return. Also they put very little portion of lettuce, which is ( I m sure) NOT their standard and seem to be cutting down on their portions. I made sure to tell her I m only getting lettuce and not lettuce with rice so that she doesn t put half portion lettuce but she did. Overall as someone with customer service experience, this was not very pleasant.

The food was ok, but the reason why this isnt four stars is because the hours posted arent accurate. I went with three friends at around 9:30pm and the place was supposed to close at 11pm. They served us well, so theres no complaints there. However, after 20min, the workers told us they were closing and hurried us out of the restaurant, saying they had to catch a train soon. No hate to them, but I wish the hours posted accurately reflected when they needed close, which would be 10pm.

Just got steak tacos for take out from Aurora location. The steak was completely dry and barely chewable with no seasoning. Please dont serve old meat to customers. You just lost 2. We have enjoyed burritos there in the past but these tacos were terrible. I give it one star because the server was friendly.

It was very good. The quality of the food was great, plus very clean store. I totally recommend taking your family there. Plus customer Service experience was great and he was super friendly. Greatly appreciated. I will most definitely go back. Plus I love their steaks.

I had Mucho Burrito Aurora cater my 40th birthday party for 50 guests and was ecstatic about how it turned out! The food was amazing, Hemil and his team were fabulous! Our guests raved about the food and we thoroughly enjoyed every part. Kid-friendliness: The kids loved the food too!

Why do they always close earlier than the stated hours? This has happened twice to me when I ve come within store hours and the employees are cleaning up saying they decided to close early. Not a reliable business in a competitive world. Take your money elsewhere folks.

Its been a few months since I came here but in the past would get a steak burrito almost every week. Not sure if its under new ownership or management but the prices are higher and the quantity of meat given is ridiculous. Literally 10 pieces of steak each the size of a dime. For almost $20 for a regular burrito including a can drink I would expect better. DO NOT visit this location if you want value for your money.

Buyer be ware. I specifically went for cinco de mayo $6.99 burritos as they advertise . Bought 2 thinking I would pay $14.00 plus HST. Was charged $30 and owner was not willing to make it right. What a fool just lost a long time customer over $15.

These owners are dishonest and do not value their customers. We went in this evening for 2 of the advertised $6.99 buritos, specifically requestung them as 2 of your $6.99 burito specials one beef one chicken. At the cash register we were directed to tap. Imagine our shock when we were presented a receipt for $ 29! The explanation provided by the owner was that we were given larger buritos...we didnt ask for larger, we asked for the $6.99 specials! They refused to take responsibility for their error and to make it right or even take their buritos back and provide a refund for the difference. The owner openly stated that he was willing to lose us as long time customers rather than fix his mistake and charge us for what we actually ordered and expected to recieve. There are several Mexican food shops in Aurora- barBurito, Get & Go Burrito, Dos Mariachis and Guac Mexi Grill with excellent service as well as better food that our family will be supporting from now on...it looks like this establishment has too many customers to care

When ordering a burrito bowl for $14 you would expect a full bowl... not a half full bowl as seen in the photo. This isnt a mucho burrito, this is quite the opposite...

can be hit or miss.... often they will have food out for a long time which will be dry and gross. Tried again Sept 2023. Same issues. Old food which should be garbage being served up. They did not have fresh rice either

To whom it may concern: Showed up at 1.45 pm looking for a bite to eat. Seemed like a solid choice in the plaza as previous lunches have been ok and some even memorable at this location. Seasonal suprise menu addition in select meals, hair. Not to be confused with the Shhhhh..... Im hunting rabbit, on some menus in the region. This was off putting and a horrible experience. I deserve better than a hairy taco.

The quality of the food was okay, but the portion was so small and I dont expect that from the mucho burrito, also paying around $15 for regular burrito and giving portions of small burrito is not acceptable. So it seems that the ownership changed with this location. And just like many others, I have noticed that the portions became significantly smaller. I always get take out from this place, and just for fun weigh them. Always mucho size. So with the previous ownership, my burritos were NEVER under 1kg. (With 1.2 being the record). With these people In charge, exactly the same order is 800gr. In these reviews, the owner replies to contact them about these things, as if it s an irregularity. It s not, they know what they re doing and that is : buy out a franchise that people got accustomed to and start aggressive cost cutting. Do not give these people the benefit of the doubt and punish these practices by spending your money elsewhere (there are better tasting burritos that are a way better bang for your buck within 5 minute drive). There s a reason ratings started going down suddenly after years of this place existing. Oh and btw, they left a bunch of fake 5 star reviews after taking over the business. You can notice by the names of the people who leave them, the over exaggerated positive tone, edited pictures disgraceful owners who turned this location from tue best burrito in town into a complete joke

I call ahead because this location is always closed when it says it open. I spoke with a young lady and she advised me that this location would be open until 10pm. After I finished my workout, I drove over for a post workout meal. I arrive at 9:30. And they tell me they are closed :) this is the 3rd time I ve driven here and can t get my food lol. The Eg location is better.

I was in to get a Burrito bowl like I have been many times before. Would you like Salsa - sure and can I have some pickled onions - That is 25 cents extra I knew they limit you to four toppings but didnt know salsa was one of them. They are already more expensive than the new Bar Burrito so when the counter staff gave me a Sooooory we cant I just told them politely that on principal I was going to pass and I left. That was so annoying. I drove over to Bar Burrito and got a cheaper bowl. I am sure the counter staff had a nice take home snack as it was close to the end of the night.

I have to say it s really disappointing to have gotten this meal for me and my pregnant wife today. I was a little iffy on the frozen pre cut avocado and man was it awful!! Add that to the stale rice and chicken. This might just be this one location as I have eaten at other locations before and had much higher quality of food.

Placed an order online and went in time to pick up. Only to be rudely told by an employee that the online orders arent coming through and make her what she wants to eat. Got a burrito and a bowl. Paid for a plant based bowl, there was no plant based crumble so I got shrimp. Upon bringing it home the shrimp was under cooked and gross. Ruined my appetite. Wont be coming back to this location.

Went twice. First time was terrible, thought wed give it another go a few months later and equally as disappointing. I really dont know how its possible to make such terrible burritos. **Google wont let me reply to your response so I am adding this to my original comment: If by resolve you mean replace our meals with more terrible food, I decline. Both times the rice which made up the bulk of the fillings was undercooked, dry, and crunchy Also some of the veggies were rotting. Ive literally been to hundreds of burrito places and yours tops the list as the worst by far. I dont know how you remain in business or have the nerve to serve that food to the public.

Ordered a medium chicken burrito. The new kid asked if I wanted rice. I said no thank you. He said brown or white rice (even though there was only one type, the other is quinoa). I said none. He proceeded to pile rice onto the burrito as I shook my head in disbelief. Then he unsuccessfully tried to scoop a spoonful of chicken and only managed to get a few shreds from the top of the pile. So to recap, my chicken burrito has only trace amounts of chicken, but an ample amount of rice, which I said I didnt want in the first place. Now comes the wrapping part. As he tried to push it closed, instead of tucking and wrapping, the last remaining morsels of chicken fell out. Instead of trying to put the chicken back in, he tossed it into the garbage. His boss tried to fix it, by taking the contents of his burrito attempt and put it into a new tortilla, but the damage had already been done. As he rung up the charges, my wife informed him that we had already paid. We then asked for some sauce on the side, since all of the sauce had been dumped into the trash along with the previous tortilla. The customer behind me ordered the same thing, but had a different person making theirs. It looked a lot different than mine. It had chicken on it.

Very fresh and huge burritos. They cook chicken breaks fresh and the vegetables as well. Probably most everything is fresh. Filled me up too and Im a big guy.

Disappointing. Though the portion was good the burrito was lacking in flavour. The ingredients (rice, sautéed vegetables, corn) werent fresh nor well seasoned. The entire container of cilantro they were using was wilted. They really skimped on the cheese, and extra cheese costs an extra dollar (guac I can understand). I find this to be ridiculous charging extra for cheese, especially when the regular portion is so little and the burrito without the addition is unsatisfying, is problematic (and I wouldnt consider myself extreme when it comes to the amount of cheese I like on my food). The regular portions of ingredients used to make a regular burrito should at least make for a good and harmonious tasting burrito. Conclusion: I will not be returning

Had someones 12 long black hair in my food and the manager doesnt care enough to call back and make the situation right. Its a pandemic, I cant imagine what other health measures theyre not abiding by. Not coming back.

Always love a burrito place with lots of fresh options. This place always surprises with new inventions like tandoori chicken or the citrus bowl. It was delightful and filling. For dessert we had the brownie with Peruvian chocolate yum!

This place is bad for my heart, Its just too good. I try to come on a weekly basis and probably about 10% of the time, something is weird with the meat. However my overall experience is good. The workers do a good job at killing down long lines.

May 2020 : During Covid, the employees are not wearing masks. I find this as a sign of disrespect towards consumer safety. There is also no requirement for customers to wear a mask. Not sure if its just this location or across the entire chain. Was a regular customer but wont be returning anytime soon Aug 15 2020 update : went back recently, the staff was wearing maskes as they prepared the food where visible and the sign on the door requires patrons to wear a mask as well. So I am revising my rating back up to a 4 out of 5 instead of a 1 out of 5! Thank you watching out for your customers and I am looking forward to enjoying those awesome burritos!!

Dont ever get their quesadillas. They put very small amount of cheese for spending over $10 for a plain one. I spoke with supervisor who dismissed me and just said There is cheese. Doesnt need to be cheesy I told him I would be putting in a complaint he said go ahead. I will be calling the manager. I spent over $60. Last time at this location Very poor customer service.

Pretty expensive for Mexican food and not very authentic either. Mexican street corn is extremely salty and not tasty at all. Portions are small and the meat is bland.

Best barrito you can get

Had a large order for 11 people so we broke it down by type - i.e. 4 burritos, 3 tacos, etc. Cashier and other staff person was confused, overwhelmed and our order took over 25 minutes to sort out and receive. Staff kept asking what did we order and other customer noticed and said the situation was mucho estupido. Agreed so stay away from this place if you have company.

I didnt get the name of the man who served me but he was the damn burrito picasso. This man had a burrito passion, it was the best damn burrito I ever had.

Wanted to try this place out. I was quite disappointed that the burrito bowl that I ordered was still fairly spicy even I specified and asked the staff for something thats not spicy from their menu. Friendly staff, but I guess they didnt really know their food items.

Always my favourite burrito place. Very clean and great customer service. I recommend getting a burrito if anything as those are way better than bowls. Only thing is that I preferred the Yves veggie crumble far more than the Beyond Meat. If you choose to avoid meat I suggest skipping the beyond meat as it has a weird aftertaste! Other than that what a delightful branch, I will continue to return here.
