Noor Kabob Persian Food Restaurant in Aurora

Hands down the best kebab place. High quality ingredients and the portions are huge. You can get two meals out of one. The staff is also very nice and welcoming.

Unfortunately, always I forgot to take a picture of my food but you wanna try traditional Persian dishes like Ghormesabzi or Gheyme here its unbelievable ask for Tahdig (crispy rice and bread) I love all workers here they are amazing , dont forget to get free salad with your food as well . Enjoy

This place cant be legit, they had no chicken at all when I went in for dinner. They took cash only and the dudes wernt dressed as food counter chefs.

I used to visit Noor Kebab a lot but sadly, my recent experience has been very disappointing. The quality of the food and service has declined significantly. When I ordered takeout, I noticed that the meat was undercooked and raw, with visible blood in the plastic bag. This is a major health concern and completely unacceptable. The kitchen hygiene seems to have deteriorated, which is alarming for any restaurant.

Me and my two other friends during every lunch in our high school, we pay a visit to this restaurant to have a chill time and eat there. unfortunatel, they dont care about the customers and one time charged us two drinks and never gave us one on the house for going everyday for 4 months. recently, my friend was in this washroom, and this very rude worker started banging on the door until he came out not being able to finish his washing dudies. there food is horrible and raw DONT COME HERE UNLESS YOU WANT A BAD EXPERIENCE

First time at this place and last time never experience something as horrible as the customer service at this place the girl on the phone which was the same girl in the front was extremely rude. I Ordered the 52.99 noor special went inside to pick it up while cashing me out gave her a 15% tip on a take out order. I asked for an extra plate and she charged me 5 dollars. I mean at least smile and be nice. Never going back and I don t recommend this place due to the lack of customer service.

If you enjoy Persian cuisine, this is one of the best spots in the GTA. All the khoresh dishes are amazing and exceptionally good. However, dining in is not recommended due to the strong kitchen smell and the space being poorly designed and equipped. The restaurant is primarily geared toward takeout.

Not sure this is economy related as the quality of food was much better and recently degraded. I got koobideh here and it had terrible smell and not sure what mixture they recently use to make it.

I recently visited Noor Kebob, and unfortunately, my experience was very disappointing due to the behavior of one of the employees on the cashier. The staff member was incredibly impolite and seemed uninterested in providing good service. I was genuinely surprised by their attitude toward customers it felt unprofessional and disrespectful. Restaurants should create a welcoming atmosphere, but this experience left a bad impression. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and works on improving customer service because the food and ambiance alone cannot make up for poor treatment.

Came there for casual lunch, loved the taste and aroma of food. Very friendly service as well. would highly recommend to Persian food lovers.

Good and resealable food.

Very very nice and yummy Kebab. I got the Noor Special , it was great. Big portions and very yummy food. I always crave for it, we come as family and it was the best. Even my baby enjoyed the food. Also the staff are very nice and polite. They always greet you smiling and full of kidness. I definitely will recommend them to everyone that I know.

Noor Kabob never disappoints! The food is amazing, the prices are reasonable, and the atmosphere is cozy. My favorite dish is their barg kabob, and they even include free tahdig!

Best Persian restaurant in the area

We have ordered kobideh Kabab and Zereshk polo ba morgh at this restaurant. they provide a pretty big portions, however, the kabab had no taste and for the zereshkpolo, chicken was overcooked.

Need owners attention here- Nov 4th, 6:10 pm - I ordered Chicken with Bread. The cashier just wore 1 glove on her right hand and then handled my bread with her left hand without gloves. I was so grossed out seeing this- I just threw out my bread as soon as I got out of the plaza. Shame to the cashier for ruining my food. They should train employees in food handling. Im a long-time customer - really disappointed with todays service.

Best in Canada

I had the koobideh and holy it was the greatest kebab I ve had in a minute. They also gave me tahdig for free without me asking for it. The value and quality of food is on a whole another level. Not a place to take out someone on a first date to impress but great if you have no tarof with your partner and want to take her out for a great night and feed them an amazing meal

The service is awful. Not recommended. They sell even bottles of water while other restaurants bring water to each table- so poor - disappointed

My review is not about the food. My spouse went to work at Noor Kabab, and the manager made them work hard for three days for free, only to easily say they didn t need them anymore. Under the guise of training and a promise of employment, they exploited my spouse, who is legally allowed to work and was genuinely seeking a job. In my opinion, businesses that exploit people in this way shouldn t be supported, even if they offer the best food.

That Shawarma sucked. I asked for extra garlic sauce, I got One turnip, two pickles, barely any garlic sauce. That old man ripped me off. What a waste of 23$.

Oh my goodness, every bite I had was better than the last. It was exactly the flavor you want when you feel like having kabob and rice. I had the koobideh and the chicken thigh (vaziri) it was amazinggggg! I had the chicken first, and it was so fresh and cooked perfectly. I moved onto the koobideh and suddenly I didn t even want to eat any salad in fear of cleansing my pallet from the delicious flavor. I have found my new favourite persian restaurant. Great flavors, generous portions and friendly attitudes. This 5* was WELL deserved by this entire team.

Terrible costumer service, the food dosnt taste anywhere near I expected it to be. The woman has no filter and she s very rude. I got a combo witch , I m supposed to get the entire plate that was expensive, When you pay for a combo you re not getting the full combo I promise. Terrible service

Taste is better than any persian restaurant I ve tried in Toronto and I ve tried a good amount. On top of that, they have the nicest employee and owner and they always make you feel at home.

I absolutely loved my Noor Special - $54 for 4 skewers, rice, salad. I wish they would have given me more of that sauce - but the taste of the food was amazing. I actually waited a day to report back cuz I wanted to see how the leftovers tasted the next day - legit think the food got even better the next day - so surprised at how much I enjoyed it!

The food was very tasty, it was our first time eating here and my 4-year-old daughter loved it. My husband and I are Mexican and now we are fans of the Persian food from this place.

I had to wait almost 25 minutes for my order. It included salad and sauce, but when I brought it home, it was just the naked rice with chicken and 2 pieces tomatoes and lemon wedges. For sure, I wont be returning. Customer service sucks

Disappointed in the quality. We ve been a customer for over 3 years and Noor used to be our go to for Persian food. But I can tell the ownership or quality has definitely changed. We ordered koobide and barg a few days ago and the barg was super dry and burnt corners and just tasted off. The rice has changed also. Like always we asked for tahdig and it was the worst by far. I wish I had taken pictures .

There is a lot of great and delicious food, I am a truck driver and I get food from here mostly, I am satisfied, only the lady who is at the cash register there is a little late to answer and I keep waiting, but the rest is good

The quality of the food has significantly declined here. this is not authentic Persian food.

I wrote Farsi so that only our community could read it and not everyone. I got vegetable gorma and Waziri, both of which were awful.... Of course, I am their customer and their food is good, but I dont know why it was like that that day. The gorma stew was drowned in black oil... both dishes had sliced onions under the rice, which were eaten with every spoonful. It comes out from inside the rice and it gave the poor rice a slimy look....I felt like I was feeding you leftover food....Unfortunately, I dont know why they made my order like that that day Update: This happened only once and until now I still eat here and it is really the best in the area.

OMG... I cant say enough to show how much Im satisfied with their services. Its absolutely great, the price is reasonable and the cuisines are perfect. Even more delicious in their own Persian style plates if you wish to have dine-in. Its my almost every week plan to go and enjoy with family there.

Compared to all other persian restaurants that I ve been to this one hits different. It not only tastes like real persian food but it s the good quality stuff you find here. You know not every koobideh is a good koobideh specially in Ontario but Noor Kebab knows what they re doing. Highly recommend !!!

I used to love this place but now the quality of the food has gone to absolute garbage. Since theyve gotten busy, they dont care about food. Several times the kebab came very under cooked and raw.

Hello, I dont think the food was good at all and they are not customer oriented at all. I ordered a pressed challah with 3 skewers, but they didnt give me bread for 3 skewers, and their argument is that they dont have bread.

The service is great and the staff are really polite and friendly. The owner of the restaurant usually serves the guests with a free delicious tahdig. But, actually, the quality of the food is good for daily persian eating and note not to expect special tastes or quality. Moreover the prices are really reasonable.

Great portion sizes at great quality prices - one platter can definitely feed 2. The meats were very fresh and grilled to order! I also recommend getting the yogurt drink to accompany your meal. Ordering takes place at the counter and their eat-in area is well kept. I loved the traditional plate aesthetic, but the silverware were a bit a dirty. I would call this a hidden gem in Aurora and would drop by again for a cheap lunch!

Excellent food service and customer service

Tonight I ordered vaziri with extra joojeh kabab leg , we always love the food from noor and since opening we ve been a every week customer and enjoyed everything specially their Soltani but i have to say recently food quality is bit down specially tonight taste of joojeh was absolutely awful, it was marinated in turmeric and red food coloring and smelled like medicine and koobideh also wasn t very good eider and in general it wasn t a good experience tonight but also past couple times too and I decided to leave this review so hopefully they can chenge the marinade to what it was before and keep the food quality up

Absolutely unreal.

Me and my girlfriend went out to eat here together, and they told me Asian people werent allowed due to the spread of covid. I was taking a massive dump in the bathroom and an employee named Amir came in, kicked the stall door in and yanked my toilet paper because he said I didnt rack it the right way. Amir proceeded to call me multiple racial slurs which I did not appreciate. I suspect they also added something quite peculiar to my Kebab, as the taste was a bit off from your usual Kebab style joint. Nevertheless, aside from the one employee I was surprised by the service, and staff were all great and the food was more than delicious. ;) I d give this place a 3/5 star overall.

The portion size relative to cost provides incredible value. Their kabobs were very tasty, and the rice, roasted tomato, and salad were all good. We ordered for a work lunch and will definitely go back again in the future. Thank you for the great lunch Noor!

I had some work in aurora and stop by at noor restaurent for chicken shawarma. I did not check menu and ordered one wrap. I was surprised to know that its only 9.99 with fries or pop. I live in GTA and its so unreal especially post covid. Not only the price but taste and size is also good. We should encourage such food outlets. The lady at the counter was also very polite and gorgeous.

This place used to be my favorite place to go in Aurora. But the quality of the food and service has dropped in the last few months.

Ordered on Uber eats , so delicious I didn t even think to stop and take a picture. The serving size is very generous. The meat is charred exceptionally well , perfectly moist on the inside , exactly how it should be. Came with a salad and a free drink , and a nicely charred tomato . Will definitely order again, I only leave reviews when I m deeply satisfied with a business , and this place definitely deserves it .

Great Persian restaurant, right when we walked in, the staff were very friendly and made us truly feel welcome. I had the chicken shawarma, my son had the beef kabob and rice, both were excellent! The prices are more than fair, I was pleasantly surprised by how reasonable their prices are, this probably explains all of the people in the restaurant (Great food at a great price). The restaurant itself is very nice, but is small, they only have about 4 tables. Like I said, it is a nice restaurant, but dine in is really for a quick bite, and they are more of a take out place. I highly recommend this restaurant, and I will be back!

In terms of food quality and price they are perfect but, the service is terrible, very slow and always many many minutes behind. The worst place for dine in, very slow and always full of smoke, not good for kids and seniors,, I believe their fans and air circulation has a major problem
