The best wings, service around !!! Big, meaty, honey garlic wings so fresh and flavourful. Now working and living in area will be a regular for sure. Oh mozzarella stick yummy to!! Keep up the amazing food and service!! :)
Had to stop in Aurora and we had no idea where to go. Coop's was the second place we stopped at. Walked in and we were not expecting much. Presentation isn't the best but I will say being invited in and grab a seat was nice. The tables and chairs were very clean and well taken care of. The staff were incredible and very friendly. The food, I cant say enough about the food. I had a hamburger and it was probably the best burger that I have ever eaten, the juices were running out of a perfectly cooked burger. I had it with bacon and cheese which it didn't really need. My wife had the chicken strips that she couldn't finish, but I could. The chicken was really high quality and the breading was perfect. Please go to this little gem.
This 1 star is solely based on service. If I could, I’d give it 0 stars. I had heard a lot about Coop’s wings and was excited to pick up an order tonight (Aug 20, 2024) from the Aurora location. It was going to be a test to see if we will use them to cater an office event for 150 people. I walked in at 8:20 into a not so busy joint. It’s a small place, so it wasn’t hard to figure out I should head to the bar. I approached an empty spot at the bar and the lady bartender was busy talking to customers who appeared to be her friends. It could’ve just been her regulars. I stood there for about a minute and when I finally made eye contact with her, before even saying a word, she stretch out her arms, her hands in a stop position and she said “I’ll be with you in a few minutes” (the aggravated look on her face screamed “how dare you walk in here”)she then turned around and continued her conversation. I didn’t say a word and walked right out. I guess I’ll have to try the Newmarket location - but I need to find out if it’s the same owner first… if it is.. not interested. Hmm I imagine 150 x 1lb of wings per person is a lot of money … Maybe you’ll have a better experience. I certainly did not! ————————————————————————————— Aug 21 2024 - this is in response to Managements reply. I want to be very clear— this was NOT a wait time issue. This review was strictly based on the bartenders attitude and the service she provided. She clearly needs to be retrained in Customer Service. Further more, staffing issues are not the customers problem. The pandemic can no longer be used as an excuse. It’s the business’ responsibility to ensure they are fully staffed to cover any potential overflow. ESPECIALLY if they advertise Monday and Tuesday to be their “Wings Night”. Thanks 😊
The food was great (we ordered Burger & Fries and a Greek Salad). The hostess was nice and seemed professional. We were happy despite my ask of not having any Onion on my salad twice and, getting extra onion!! The surprise was a few small items on our bill at the very end, which seemed very odd and maybe a bit unfair to the customer! Let me be clear, the menu prices are good and the portions are big, but maybe it is the inflation (I can't speculate why at the end!) making management/ owners to charge higher amounts here or there for extra money, not sure! Many customers might not notice, and I myself usually don't even look at the check, but as the final pay went a bit higher than $60, itseemed a bit higher as the comparison of the bar style, location, menu costs and food we ordered, so I ended up checking the bill. As I asked for 2 dressing, although asked only a bit of both, they charged extra $1.49! You can see the salad in the picture. Tap Diet Coke, not in a big glass and with not much fizz, costed us $4.75! I can live with Draught beer, 16 oz, $7.75. But, if the extra topping of burger for both Bacon and Cheese is $2.49, and customer only asks for bacon, and you plan to charge full $2.49, at least forgive a bit of extra dressing!! It was disappointing the least! A local business, which we liked the food, on an almost empty bar in a Saturday afternoon, it felt a bit wrong! $5 extra won't make ANYONE richer or poorer these days, specially if you plan to eat out, but let me tell you, we weren't feeling welcome and happy as we were walking out the door...
Only had the wings, but tried 5 different flavours. I was very pleased with the variants of flavour! Only critique would be that the 'spicy' or 'hot' options, aren't actually that spicy, but the flavour is there! Service was exceptional! I obviously have no comment on the other food options, but would definitely recommend this place for the wings, and will be back!
Do not eat here. Would rate 0 for food quality if I could. Ribs tasted burnt and the sauce was way too sweet. The garlic bread was soggy. Chicken strips lack any sort of flavor, but had a nice texture. Fries look gross and taste like leather with mush filling. It's amazing to me what these kinds of places charge for bad, soulless food.
Saturday's wings special is very good, 10 pcs of boneless wings and fries, $9.99.
Update: still the ABSOLUTE BEST after 6 years. $10.99 for a lb all the juiciest, meatiest wings you will ever have on a Monday night. Special. Drinks are reasonably priced and truly a fantastic place. I've been to many wing places around Toronto and this is by far one of the best. It's the freshness of the wings you can really taste. The variety of flavors is pretty good but what really helps it stand out is both quality and quantity you get for price. There isn't a place which offers higher quality wings in larger quantities for the price you pay. Highly worth a drive if you are not from Aurora Newmarket area

This place is a gem. If I can give 6 stars for the service, I would. The server is always so attentive and proactive. Wing sauces are fabulous.
The food and service is always GREAT at Coops!
First time and unfortunately the last. Food was mediocre at best, service made us feel like we were an inconvenience to the server...after asking for a simple refill 3 times, none arrived. Two of the four items ordered were inedible.
Ordered takeout was missing 2 peoples food and of the 5 orders of we we did get 3 of them were put in the takeout container and then had the sauce or seasonings put on top worst wing experience ever didnt even give us the money back for the wings the missed just offered a credit. Avoid this place if I could would give it 0 stars
I never leave reviews but I thought I d try this place tonight and I honestly would give this place a zero if I could just because the girl answering the phone was so rude it was shocking, I couldn t help but just hang up and laugh.

Their wings are delicious and my all time favorite by far !!!! I highly recommend the dry rub coops surprise flavor. Also, Chris is an amazing waitress/bartender, whom makes my visit entertaining and pleasant every time I go...thanks Chris...your the best !!!
Dine in.monday wing night . We sat next to a very loud fountain ordered a pitcher to split . A basket of fries and three pounds of wings .. SEVENTY TWO DOLLARS -- THREE POUNDS OF WINGS WITH FRYS AND A PITCHER and ten dollar tip! THATS MY REVIEW . Take it how you like thats with tip these owners need to get there act straight. server was great no offense to her. Not worth the money for me.

We ordered salad, the dressing was on the salad versus on the side, the salad was very soggy. We ate half of it as we were hungry. The creamy garlic parmesan wings had so much parmesan cheese on it that is was unpalatable didnt really taste the chicken except if your scraped off the sauce. Again hungry but will throw out 1 of the 2 pounds of wings. The deep fried mozzarella sticks also tasted bad. It is a shame we used to buy from CW Coops, they had the best meatiest wings in Aurora, but tonight we will be throwing out half of our dinner, $40.00 down the drain.
Great food, cozy ambience and friendly staff. It was our first restaurant visit after the lockdown lifted and we enjoyed every minute! Highly recommended

Ordered 10lbs of wings with 5 flavours. Overall the wings were very good however, out of the 5 flavours only one was labeled. Two of the 5 were not as ordered, one was to be Hot Blonde, but there was no sauce on it for the Blonde . Another was to be Creamy Caesar and Parmesan...well there was some Parmesan but no Creamy Caesar.

Ive heard a lot of great reviews about this place. Tried to place an order for tomorrow take out myself, no-one was picking up the phone for an hour, then when someone finely did - I heard we are closed for tonight, which was still at least 15mins before the closing time. I asked what time can I call tomorrow to place my order? Loved the answer: I dont work tomorrow (!) anytime from 8 to 9. Great service so far. Updating my review. We placed the order next day, no troubles, was really great service, liked the food very much. Weve got 4 different types of wings and definitely be back to try other varieties. Cant give 5 stars because of the first day experience, but 4 is a must.

Great Wings
Breaded wings with a good selection of flavours. A couple wings nights, but best is Thursday with 2 lbs and a pitcher for $33... not the best deal but good. The service can be a bit slow, but generally it a pretty good place to grab an unhealthy snack and watch a game at a reasonable cost.
Happy to see they have reopened since Covid shutdown as it s one of my favorite spots. Hours are 4-10 as of July 28th for the time being. They now have outdoor seating as well.

The chicken wings are plum and juicy, crispy on the outside. Apparently, they only use fresh, never frozen wings. Friendly and efficient wait staff. Highly recommended.
This is one of my favourite wings places so far. To start, the staff are friendly and observant. The wings are some of the largest and juiciest that Ive had in a long time, with a great choice of flavours. I also absolutely loved their mozzarella sticks - to me, it tastes like the cheesiest pizza youve ever had. Strongly recommend this restaurant
Chris as usual is fun.
I thought it was ok. Had 2lbs of wings. Really cheap on the celery and carrots. I get the same amount for 1lb as I get for 2. No Guinness on tap brought the can over after opening it at the bar without pouring. Well there goes the head , seriously learn the business.

Probably the worst takeout experience ever. Went to pick up my order only to be totally ignored for 15 minutes. The wings are generally pretty good but I m not ordering from this place again.

Coops has the best chicken wings around. They are big, fresh, crispy, and the sauce selection is top notch. The samosas are surprisingly good and pair well with a pound and a pint. Friendly staff and a cozy, casual atmosphere are an added bonus.

The wings are excellent - good portions, consistent size, and perfectly prepared. Great selection of sauces as well. The Saturday boneless wings special is delicious and an outstanding value.

Average wings, at best. Since when do you not get a couple of veggies and blue cheese dip? The price of eating out keeps going up, and the value keeps going down.
The food and service were not good. I ordered a Greek salad which was so pathetic looking and tasted so bland. The wings took nearly 45 minutes to get and there were less than 10 people in the restaurant and those people already had food. Service was slow as well.

The new owners are really good. Peter is an excellent cook! Everything is made from scratch and fresh. Definitely one of the best pub/bars in Aurora to get food. Unfortunately lots of people dont know to go there. I think the previous owners gave it a bad rep. PLEASE give this place a try. You will not be disappointed.

Waitress is top knotch.......wings are top shelf but prices at this particular place need to be readjusted...the new owners of this place took away the specials...the drafts expensive...wings arent cheap...but did I mention the waitress ? Friendly place but I wont hit it again....

We come here at least once a week, the wings are the freshest and best Ive had. Poutine is delicious. Not to mention the service is quick and friendly every time! Never been disappointed.
We love this place, we come after our ball games for the wing deal on Mondays. The service is always amazing and they are happy to accomodate our large group. The best part is the food though which is always on time and delicious. Get Canadiana. Its the best.

Why the hell would a server bring my nachos with my meal?? I dont blame the cook as the server did.!!! I blame the server. It is the servers responsibility to ensure the appetizer arrives BEFORE the meal and then ensure the appetizer is finished before delivering the meal!!! I will NOT be going back for lunch with my crew

Coops Aurora is an amazing place to eat. I have had a lot of things on the menu. The service is great with always polite and considerate servers. The wings are an all time favourite of mine. Great vlovours and an amazing variety.

Without question the BEST wings in the Newmarket/Aurora/Richmond Hill area. Ive been everywhere for wings, and this place has consistently been the best for the size and quality of theirs wings, always fresh, served at just the right temperature, and a great list of flavours, with the ability to mix your own! The service is very good too, always making sure youre enjoying your visit. Top marks all around!!
I loved my wings, but the service was terrible! I cant blame the waitress, I blame management. They leave one person to serve on a Sunday night... Do the bumpkins running this place know theres something called Sunday night football?! The place was packed, not to mention it was the servers second day... She forgot the dill dip, then forgot the Mayo for the fries and then added a beer we never ordered to my friends bill. Like I said, the wings are great, and I like supporting local businesses, but the management needs to get it together. If a staff member calls in sick, the owner should be there taking their place.
I ve been coming here for 9 years and I ve always loved it. The ownership has changed over the years but the food has remained great. By far my favourite wing place. Highly recommended!

Coops has a basic menu at the high end of the price range for York region; notably $10 plates and $6 tap beer. Friendly and comfortable. Full dining room when I went mid-week for the review.
I have never had a bad time at CW Coops in Aurora. The staff and ownership are absolutely delightful. If you want a good time with good quality food, this is the place. Bring family and friends.
