East Side Mario's in Aurora

The food was so good! It came quick and the all you can eat bread was to die for. Our server, Oriana was a great and accommodating for our large group. ***^Edit**** This is my one year anniversary coming to this location and I come here every year with my swim team. This year food was just as good and our server Asif was funny, fast and helpful. I will be coming here again next year :)

The food here is phenomenal, and the service is even better! My server, Asif, did a great job serving me and my friends. Best place in town, take yourself, your special person, your entire extended family, and all your friends here for true authentic Italian cuisine. #WAP

This was one of the worse dining experiences I have ever had. Staff is deserving of a 5 star but the food and atmosphere were horrible. We couldn t finish our meals and they forgot to bring out the appetizers we ordered. ( perhaps a blessing in hindsight) My son who has a healthy appetite could not eat more than 2 bites of his meal. We appreciate the effort but it s not for me and I won t come back The warm bread loaf was the only good thing

We go to east side Marios every year for my nieces birthday and I love how ur staff sings happy birthday but tonight when we were everything was good but ibwas very disappointed when the server brought the free dessert out and didnt sing happy birthday I think next year we will go somewhere elss

Service was unbelievable! I don t think 2 minutes went by without us having our drinks refreshed, a new loaf of bread or another soup/salad being offered. I ve never seen a team work so effortlessly well together. The food was good pizza is expensive but good and the Hell s Kitchen Chicken was decent but the chicken was a little dry and small. The soup, salad and bread were king! If I could get that and a kids meal pasta I d be set! I left stuffed with soup, salad and bread Restaurant was busy and a little loud, but overall remained comfortable. It s good to see restaurants are busy once again.

Last Sunday noon I went to Mario, the waitress told us there is no bread at all. I went to Mario few times, and ordered similar food, every time we were served bread without asking and were refilled. I don t know what s wrong with that waitress, not a good experience that time. Otherwise my kid likes the pasta, I like the soup and bread.

This location accommodated our party of 26 with only a few hours notice. The service was fantastic. Our server Asif and the other service team members were incredibly attentive with our party, including 12 kids! The food was served hot and fast, and tasted great. There were 14 of us (12 adults, 1 youth, 1 child) for an adult birthday celebration on Saturday 16 November. The restaurant was very busy with other large groups including childrens birthday parties, but we were so lucky to have Kate (Katinka) look after us. She really looked after us well. I can recommend the Grilled Chicken Milano. Im allergic to many things, but that meal seemed pretty safe and I had only one question about it. However, Kate had more answers than I had questions, and she went out of her way to make sure I would be OK. With her adjustments, I was indeed perfectly fine and the food was very good. My husband had linguine chicken, my daughter had Italian wedding soup and salad, my son had sausage and penne. All very good. Although the four of us left a little early to visit a hospital palliative care patient and my review is late as a result of all that followed, we did not forget Kate. Thanks, Kate--you are a great server! We hope to see you again! Dietary restrictions: If you need gluten free, make sure you ask! There are options including safe pasta.

We havent been to an East Side Marios in years and we were beyond pleasantly surprised. The Aurora location was clean and well laid out, but above all the staff were EXTREMELY attentive and friendly. Mustafa was an excellent server and the owner/manager went above and beyond to chat with us and make our experience pleasant. He was very personable. The food was fast and very tasty. We will definitely be back!

Went here a couple of times recently. Had Asif look after us. He was awesome. Recommended the calamari. Oh my god it was to die for. The best I ve had in a very long time. Everyone is nice and friend. Very happily come back again. There is also a lovely waitress can t remember her name. But she loves hello kitty. She is funny and nice. Even when she s busy still makes time to talk to you. Can t wait to go there again.

We came tonight, Friday night. It was super busy. We were a table of 4 adults, 2 kids, and baby with stroller. Beautiful night out but patio was closed. We asked the owner to accommodate and let us sit outside, he did! We were worried the servers would forget us because we were alone outside, but no, total opposite, we had servers here every few minutes. Such amazing service, delicious food. Saturday September 28 There was a hockey tournament in town and several teams descended on ESM at nearly the same time. Restaurant was ++ busy. We were a team of 16 players plus parents and siblings. Needless to say, a large group. We were served by Muj and he knocked it out of the park. He was very organized ensuring everyone had accurate separate bills. He was also super polite and very attentive to the last detail. Muj never lost his cool despite the chaos and noise that accompanies 16 nine year old boys. Gave the food 4 stars only because the kids menu selections came out a little short on food (maybe a small handful of fries when the plate is normally full .we normally dine here frequently and know what to expect). But that is not our server Muj s fault. Food came out hot and fresh though. Thank you Muj for making our team lunch special. You deserve recognition/raise! I dont recommend going to the Aurora ESM restaurant if youre celebrating a birthday and hope to get them to honour the free birthday dessert promotion. They substituted the salted caramel brownie with ice cream offered in the email that East Side Marios sent to us at the time of this review with one third of a different dessert with no ice cream. I spent about $60 for two dinner entrees. Service was rushed and sarcastic, parts of my salad had seen better days, and my entree arrived lukewarm in the late afternoon in a sparsely populated restaurant. I left feeling like I had burdened the restaurant staff by choosing to dine in their establishment. Id suggest going to a different chain that values its customers, takes greater care with its food temperatures and freshness, and treats you better.

If I could give this location not even a one star. We waited more than a hour for our food after our appetizers. The tables all around us were being taken care of by many servers. The guests had arrived after us and was all served food and their bill came even before our server had even come to tell us our food was going to be served soon. We asked for the bill for our drinks and they gave us a bill for the entire meal that we didn t even want anymore because we were just so disappointed. I don t recommend this location to anybody and unfortunately we were there after being at a very sad loss with a family member.

Me and my family come here every week for the chicken parmesan and our server happens to be sheida, she is so pleasent everytime and takes the extra step to remember and greet us every single time. One of the reasons we come to this location!

I sat for almost 15 mins waiting for someone to bring me a menu A young man names Mustafa noticed me and then brought me a menu. He took my order and I received my order promptly after that. The food was very good, and the place was busy. However it felt like there were alot of servers on the floor so I was a little disappointed that no one offered to help me until Mustafa acknowledged me. Dont eat here. They made the pizza before my order and put it on the counter. I said you cam make me a new pizza when I get my whole order. It was flatbread with the cauliflower crust. I also asked for extra tomato sauce with my chicken parm. Chicken parm was dry with no sauce. Yuck! You pay.. you dont get it. It was busy and they cant get people order right. Never going back. Called the restaurant, the manager was busy, couldnt call back. The lady at takeout is new, no one to help her. Little to zero speaking English. I grew up in Aurora.. this restaurant was great when it first open. Best you close this one. Your hiring cheap staff, cant speak English and horrible cooks. There were three Uber drivers there when I walked in the restaurant to place my order. Waited about 40 mins. Im certain all those orders going out the door were wrong. Never again. Ill spead the word on not to attend this East Sides in Aurora. Its horrible. I threw it all away. Waste of my money.

Came here for a dinner with my family and received incredible service! Asif and the wait staff at this location took such good care of us and made sure the food came out hot, flavourful, and made sure the energy was always uplifting. The bottomless salad and bread was TRULY bottomless. Asif was cracking jokes and made our meal all that much more enjoyable. We were also a very large group, so the fact he was able to stay ontop of all the orders and requests is beyond impressive! This has become our new favourite ESM location!

Asif was amazing! It s rare to come to an establishment where you feel so taken care of and happy through your entire meal! Food was really tasty, fresh, large portions and the calamari was the best I have had at east sides! We haven t been in a while but will undoubtedly be back to this location. 6/5 stars Asif went over an above, I will say the best service we have received in the last 10 years. We used to own a restaurant so my standards are high. Thanks again EXCELLENT

Time after time this is the location I go to when I want to go to an east sides. The staff and food are wonderful much better than surrounding locations and others I ve been too. My server was Asif I believe. He was awesome, great banter and served our table greatly. Will definitely come back.

HAIR NETS and INSPECTIONS !!! Took hubby Saturday for Bday, place was full with wait line. Salad arrived with a hair in it (not the servers) ordered a new one, bread arrived with hair in the butter COME ON this is food establishment made us wonder what the kitchen is like. Our server Jacob was very attentive and apologized. This is issue IS managements !! NOT IMPRESSED WILL NOT RETURN

We were celebrating our 10 years anniversary, Asif was our waiter and he was amazing, he made our night even more memorable. He is great and for sure he would be one of the reasons we will come again to Marios .
