I really like the food. Their burgers fries and pizza are yummy . The staff is nice. The waiting time to get food is ok but I love the parking spots their really close to the restaurant and they are very accessible which is the thing I love most.

The new Aurora location is less crowded than Richmond hill but the same flavours and service. Their dine in area accommodates a group of 10-12 people. So highly recommended for friend get togethers.

After a steady slow path of decline, Aurora Grill Gate hit a new level of low early this week! Now, the whole food chain of Grill Gate is crossed off from our Persian Fast Food Go-to-places forever! Weve been a customer since Day 1 this branch has opened up and we were thrilled that we wouldnt need to commute to South branches like Richmond Hill, but at the same time weve been the audience of path of decline in what customer cares for and increase in what the business want! But were not surprised as this is the norm with the majority of Persian businesses here or back home. Weve already been hesitant about this business for the last 18 months, reduced our purchases, but decided to give it a couple more tries past few weeks. Also, youre aware that we the consumers all are suffering from a Post-Lockdown effect of COVID19, with some businesses still continue asking for Tip for Takeouts; Aurora Grill Gate has been very steady on this task!! That never have changed like other businesses when often with the change of cashier sometimes you get a break, no! They have been very persistent about this specific policy, which I wish theyve been about customers care as well. Finally, within the last year, weve decided to skip the tip requests as there were no services for takeout foods, and if the business suffers from inflation, so do we!! Anyhow, on Monday, the weirdest thing has happened (as you can see in two attached pictures) and I got charged extra despite picking Skip on the screen asking for usual Tips (15%, 18%, 20%, Custom or Skip)!! At first, I thought theres no way, I must be wrong!! But when Ive checked my credit card, there it is! Theyve managed to round up the Food charge (including HST); why not!! Customer doesnt wanna pay tips? No worries, lets take it anyway!! And fun part is, if I would have thought that Ive pressed the wrong button on the screen, there would have been no way that I could end up with straight $40.00 charge on my credit card, there should be always a change by tipping on top of $37.82, I dont need to be a math genius to get that!! Believe me, I wont get richer or poorer by $2.18, but the idea of being ripped off like this and the business thinks this way they can get compensated and customers wont mind, makes me sick! If we cant trust our local small business, who I can trust then?!! I am extremely disappointed, especially as a Persian, and I strongly warn you to compare your paid amount vs. your bill if you buy food here

I eat a lot of burgers so this statement holds weight. Grill gate makes ones of the best burgers Ive ever had. The joint it clean and sharp looking and the food in excellent. Strongly recommend.

Hidden in a plaza...the food is delicious and the service was good. We tried the famous Philly cheesesteak sandwich and it was really flavourful. The bread for both the sandwich and the burgers were really crispy and yummy, like from a fresh bakery. My husband had the spicy mushroom burger and said it was really good and he would return just for that, which is saying a lot as he has ordered burgers from many places. We also really liked their chicken poutine. If you want to dine in, the tables are big and clean, and there are several available despite its small restaurant size. Although it seems like a fast food joint, the presentation of the food was a lot better than expected (on wooden platters) and the worker (possibly the owner) brought the food to our table and checked up on us once during the meal. That was a nice surprise. The price per burger/sandwich was a bit high but we felt like it was worth it. We will be back again!

The beef sandwich was one of the best sandwiches I ve had in my life. The beef so flavourful and on a soft homemade bun. I highly recommend trying this place. I 110% will be a returning customer.
