Kelseys Original Roadhouse in Aurora

We ve come here for a long time and just recently they started shorting their servings BIG TIME! We received a wing dinner and in the tiny burger box they now put fries in we received literally 8 French fries. The cheese dip is now super tiny as well. We thought the first time it was just a bad order and have since ordered another time where the portions were just as tiny. The food is good it s just way too small more recently. I shouldn t have to pay $90 for 2 meals and apps then get the smallest portions ever. Wild. Parking: Shared with plaza so it s busy. Lots of distracted drivers from the T&T. Be careful.

Could be a hit or miss depending on the server . Great food but a bit costly for what you get. Great for group lunches.

I am a senior I can t eat huge portions so I asked the server if I could order something on the kids menu along with my grandson .she said yes I could but the drink and desert that s included in the meal I could not have .so just a heads up, if you order something on the kid s menu and you re not a kid you re punished with no drink and no desert

A menu of junk food. Hard to find many options under 1000 calories. Everything is laden in far, sugar and carbs. Surrounded by much better Asian options.

Went out for 1/2 price Thursday wing night, the person who seated us mentioned the wing bundle for two special for $22.50. Wow thats a great deal right ??? Then you get the bill its $22.50 EACH, SO the real price is $45. Kelseys if you advertise a BUNDLE why at the very bottom of your advertised sheet do you put $22.50 each in a different fonts and your servers dont point out that price is EACH ?? A BUNDLE is a BUNDLE and the price should reflect that !!! DECEPTION DECEPTION DECEPTION. Kelseys marketing / advertising department should all be fired !!! Eastside Marios which is the same parent company has specials packages and bundles and DOES NOT INGAUGE IN DECEPTIVE PRICING, their bundle price is clearly advertised as the total for the meal package. Kelseys......BAD BAD BUSINESS !!!

Good menu, with good portions. My wifes salmon was good, but the vegetables were a bit bland. I had the steak sandwich and was quite pleased with it. Service was ok. We waited a half hour for our food, but otherwise good. I still havent fully adjusted to the post-lockdown pricing, but overall a pretty good meal. We would dine there again.

My son and I ordered hamburgers. All the burgers except built your own had double patties. They should have a single patty version, as we are both very big eaters and it was too much. Food was to be expected in this sort of restaurant. The soothie lemondade was way too sweet. However, it is worth a visit, just to see the urinals in the mens washroom. We will probably be back.

Service is good here. The food is always good. Great atmosphere. The only thing I don t like is the size of an order of fries. Tiny. I ll pass on the fries from here on out. Not worth it.

A friend and I were at the Kelsey s original Roadhouse in Aurora. Our server, Emma, was amazing. Friendly, and so helpful. We were impressed with her. We will come back.

Servers were friendly and attentive. However, the food here is mediocre and quite expensive. We ordered the ice cream sandwhich for dessert and the cookies were burnt. Surprised this was sent out to us.

My recent visit to Kelseys Aurora branch left me feeling frustrated and disappointed. While the happy hour menu prominently advertised cocktails for $5.50 CAD, I was shocked to find that my bill reflected regular pricing. When I reached out to the staff to inquire about this discrepancy, I was simply told that margaritas were not included in the happy hour menu, despite the menus vague mention of cocktails. Regrettably, based on this experience, I have no plans to return to Kelseys and cannot in good conscience recommend it to others. I hope that Kelseys will take this feedback seriously and work towards improving their communication and customer service in the future.

Half price wing night was right in par! Yum.

We went for dinner and ordered half price wings, those were stale, and dark inside. I ordered a sangria without ice but they gave me less than half a glass which was watered down. I returned it, server Ashley made me another cocktail which was good. Very disappointed with the food though.

The food is disgusting. I have no idea how this place is in buisness. I sent back the first order and the second thing was also inedible.

I will go out of my way and travel to this Kelseys even though there are two closer to my house. Staff is extremely friendly. Food comes up in a timely manner. Hostess is so welcoming and friendly. You can tell they have great owners because the staff seem so happy. My server Jessica was amazing last time I went ! Never had a problem here and will continue to come here .

Managed a last minute reservation at Kelseys (in Aurora) for our youth hockey team so well! 20 adults and 14 kids had drinks and food in plenty of time to get back for our next game! Big thanks to Paul, the Manager, and Sarah, our server, (and other staff who assisted) for making a would-be chaotic lunch go so smoothly!

The food was not bad, but it leaned toward the salty side. I also wished they put more cheese and tortillas on their nachos since it felt there was cost cutting on our food. Aside from that, the service and staff were nice.

If I could give 0 stars I would. My husband and I needed a quick dinner so we decided Kelsey s. We got the chicken fajitas, spinach dip, fries and Caesar salad. The Fajitas was basically sautéed onions And only onions. The spinach dip looked as if it was made in the takeout container in the AM, and reheated in the container upon an order. A few hours after eating, the stomach pains started. It s been 16 hours and the food poisoning is hitting us hard.

Generally speaking this place is very similar to Montanas. They do have some different starters and mains but generally speaking both chains are pretty much identical. This particular place in Aurora is clean and serves good quality food at a reasonable price. I cant say its outstanding but very decent. Its also conveniently located and has really friendly staff.

Waitress was pleasant but run off her feet. Service extremely slow. Chicken tenders and kettle chips were overcooked and dry. Friends baked potato undercooked and burger dry. Very disappointing.

I ordered the baked salmon, the two sides were rice and broccoli. The rice was uneventful and the Salmon was overcooked and dry. The star of this dish was the el dente broccoli flavoured with garlic butter. My diner partner ordered the fish and chips. The batter was crisp, not oily with a nice golden colour. The fries were cooked to a nice golden colour with a soft centre. The fish under the batter was void of flavour from being frozen. I know frozen fish is common to use however not all frozen fish is this bland. The service was excellent with wait staff ( at least 3 ) regularly checking on us. Nice to feel pampered. We said nothing to them of the food experience as it is not a result of their actions. Quality control from the kitchen needs to be reviewed. It is unlikely to receive a return visit.

This was my first time eating here, and it was a tad frustrating. The server was polite and friendly, but it took way too long for our food to arrive. Be it tasty or not, it was 40 mins for our main, and I actually canceled out dessert because it had taken so long and we needed to leave. A first time eating here, AND it was a birthday lunch. The server did comp our desserts and packed up the funnelcake fries, as ice cream doesnt take out well.... Ill try once more as I never let one visit set the standard but they have a lot to fix.

Best wings in town! Aweosme Cesars! Dont forget the two handed fish biwl. Patio is gorgeous, especially when the sun is setting. Tons of seats to watch your favorite sport especially during NHLand NFL playoffs! Super Bowl was a blast!! The owners hosted many team partys for our Rep team here. Tons of room! Toke 20 minutes after sitting down before we got a drink. The food was horrible. Reheated food that was cold in the middle. And the price for what you get is a major rip off. I cant over what we pay for what we get. Horrible.

Came here for lunch and was seated on the patio. Proceeded to order the lunch trio consisting of a BBQ Chicken sandwich, Beef chili and Caesar Salad. Very tasty and great service as well.

The food was surprisingly amazing! I ve been to several Kelsey s, and for some reason the food at the Aurora location was exceptional!! I m assuming they have a cook/chef that has some sort of god given gift of making good food. The staff was friendly, and attentive. The Buffalo chicken sandwich was the absolute BOMB!!!

I was there with my wife and asked for the 8oz sirloin mean with medium rare. After receiving my appetizers I still have no received any napkins, which was surprising to us. The steak came fully cooked and there was no pink in the meat. Toughest steak I ve eaten in the last 10 years. At least staff was nice.

Literally the worst food Ive ever tasted. I have no idea how one manages to mess up a chicken ceaser wrap and fries, but somehow they overcame all odds and did just that. The chicken was basically crystalised and the fries tasted like dish soap. If youre thinking of going to Kelseys to eat a nice meal, dont. I would be more satisfied from puking in my own mouth repeatedly. Service was good, but they knew better than to ask if we enjoyed our food.

Just to make sure people are warned. This location is terrible. The food was downright atrocious. Started with a thai rice bowl that was a laughably small portion, uninspired, and had zero flavour. Had it sent back and chose another item off the menu. Chicken fingers and fries you would think would be a pretty safe bet. Wrong. The chicken fingers were old and stale, as if they had been kept in the fridge for 5 days and then reheated. If you are looking to be disappointed by the meal you ordered, this is the place to come.

I was here last night with my 2 children and the staff were GREAT. My son dropped his glass on the floor, twice. Both times, Savannah was ready with the broom and a smile. She was so sweet about it. Our server, Nima, was fantastic too. Our visit was nice, even though we definitely made a scene (sorry), but Savannah and Nima really made our experience great. Thank you!! I enjoyed my dinner. My husband like his except theres a little too much sauce on the wings that he ordered. Our server is very pleasant to deal with. The food came at a decent time we didnt wait long.

Tasty food and good customer service always makes for a great dining experience The Siracha-lime wings weren t the greatest and will definitely just go plain hot next time! The wine selection was also pretty weak, but its not like I was expecting a signifant # of options anywyas There s a cool half inside half outside dining vibe and the interior is modern and fun The burgers are bomb and will definitely leave your belly feeling full Can t wait to come back and try more things on the menu! One of the best restaurant experiences in a long time. We booked for a party of 10 on Sunday afternoon for the following day and Tyler made sure to do his absolute best to get us a nice Patio location. And he delivered on that promise! Laura was a fantastic server and made sure we were well taken care of. Food was delicious and everyone was happy. We stayed for over 3 hours and they made sure we had a great time. This location is 40mins away from me but I would definitely make that journey anytime for this great experience !!

Highly recommend going elsewhere, had the chicken parm the spaghetti was overdone and tasted like a sponge with a side order of wood for chicken. Quite disappointing. The salad was good.

Aside from rock hard pita bread and fries that had a hint of a moldy taste... service was prompt, well-mannered, and friendly, did their best to correct the mistakes in the food to the best of their ability. I personally really enjoyed the back ribs as I always do, tender and juicy meat that falls off the bones without much effort, and I tried the sweet thai chili sauce this time which was within expectations.

The service wuz good when we got it. My vegetables were cold, ordered chicken pasta and got shrimp instead. Then to boot did not even get offered a free dessert or a portion of the bill taken off!!!

I would have just eaten it that way but my friend tried to help and pointed it out. So shrimp was brought on the side and then I was billed for both proteins. I just paid it. My friends Bills also went back for adjustment and I just couldnt deal. Just not great

Food is great, but the steak is always either undercooked or overcooked.

Ordered ribs which were luke warm and very dry. My son ordered Nashville chicken sandwich. Very bland and very little to no taste at all. Very expensive for quality of food.

An hour since we ordered, we are still waiting for our food. When food finally came, the side still not ready. Buns were dry and my partner s wraps were soggy. 2 stars are for my server.
