Completely ignored my instructions when ordering through UberEats. The item said Eggs any style , but didn t have a poached option, so I requested it in the note. Ignored. I asked for turkey bacon instead of potato and toast because I can t eat it (I ve made this request without issue at another breakfast restaurant). Ignored. Will not order from them again - their service lives up to their name.

Food is so average. the Turkey blt I got was cold. Everything tasted very average and the only customers there were very senior folk.

Food was fantastic and the service was timely and efficient. Both meals were cooked perfect and the dessert made it a great evening.

Worst burger Ive ever had I cant lie

RUDE OWNER, BEWARE. First impression was horrid, the owner getting out of the establishment, just to yelled at us to to not parked our car here. We told him we just going to drop UPS across the street and then well eat here because thats our main goal (and were starving too). Not the best way to welcome new customers. Giving extra star because the waiter was friendly and the food was okay. The pancake too soggy imo. But were not really going to dine here again.

Came here on a Sunday morning. Parked my car across this diner - see below. My partner and I wanted to drop off our package first at UPS across the street and came to eat at this diner afterwards. When I walked, a guy came out of the diner and yelled hey....you can t park there! . I m shocked to have had that yell. I told him we wanted to go to UPS and came back to eat there. He said What place?.. I said Wimpy. Then he said oh its fine, you can come here after that (without saying sorry or apologizing on his mis behaviour). He said there s a reason behind that and I said that s not my problem and came in through Wimpy s door. Apparently, after talking with one of the waitresses, thats the owner. He is 100% rude in my eyes even though hes working in hospitality sector. Food wise, it was good. But only the owner could make less moisty waffles, that would be great I mean his rudeness should match with the moist of his waffles - not soft and buttery. The décoration was great. The atmosphere though after my interaction with the owner is poor. The staff are great and very friendly. I wouldnt work with their owner if I were them. Feels like the staff are working under a tyrant.

Tried the mediterranean wrap with a side of onion rings! The wrap was great and the onion rings were crisp and golden! The service was quick and the waitress was on top of all things related to service.

Ordered online, ask for an accommodation for food, instead of calling me to tell me its not feasible, they simply cancelled my order. I had to call them to place the order again and only then they told me why it was cancelled. Could be better with handling customer orders through their online system.

I go to Wimpys 3 x a week or more. Always enjoyed the large selection and quality of the food. However the huge price increases are totally ridiculous!!!!! Almost every other week the prices of everything increase. Id say they raised their prices about 40 percent if not more in the last 6 months. Just 1 example is tge Steak and eggs was $19.95 and now its $26 +!!!!. Ridiculous. Everything on the menu way up!! I wrote the head office to voice my complaint and they never even responded, which tells you everything you need to know about this joke of a company!! I feel very sorry for the franchisees, as they have no say or control over this so they dont have a y control over the. Usiness they have spent a fortune on and put their heart and soul into!! Shame on you WIMPYS!!!!!

We had an enjoyable all day breakfast. Fast, friendly service! Quality of food was great. Prices are above what I expected, but maybe I m just a cheapskate for breakfast! It is a small diner, but parking was not a problem. Lots of Hollywood memorabilia and small jukebox at every table for that 50s diner feel.

Staff is friendly and fun. Food is prepared quickly and perfectly. Ideal spot for any meal. Every visit has been an excellent experience!

We have always loved Wimpys diner for the atmosphere, the friendly service and the great food and this experience was no different. The menu selection has something for everyone, and the staff were friendly and patient since we couldnt decide what to have. One thing we found were that the prices were much higher than the last time we went. Wimpys used to be what wed call a reasonably priced outing, where now the minimum per adult seems to be closer to $20-25 for an entree. That said, it definitely didnt stop us from enjoying the food which was perfectly prepared. I had a breakfast bowl that was one of the best things Ive ever had at a Wimpys before. For the diner experience, great tasting food and friendly staff, I definitely recommend visiting!

Burned toast, dry hamburgers, and so-so French fries. Pancakes were good, though. I think we must have had a new cook as Ive been here before and it was much better.

It has been a while since we have been in a Whimpys. I believe it has been prior to covid. The good quality has dropped a bit. Potatoes are burnt and black. The service was good and nice to see the owner greeting customers. We actually stopped going over 3 years ago because of the food quality. I dont think we will be back again.

Another enjoyable dinner out. Food delivered quickly and hot. Pleasant staff. A reliable go-to diner.

Way overpriced for low quality food. Plus the kitchen looks dirty. Owner is very rude to staff and customers. Would never recommend. The location in Richmond Hill (which is also on Yonge St. Just a short drive south) is much better at customer service and quality of food! I would avoid the Aurora location.

I ve been coming here since a child. I will no longer be coming to this location. I made the mistake of paying patronage at this store two days ago. There was one waitress that offered no greetings nor pleasantries. The restaurant was just about empty yet for some reason she seemed in a a rush to take our order, as if it was a vague attempt no at applying pressure. My fellow diner and myself both found this quite odd. When i asked the woman a question I had regarding the menu she rudely snapped back, yea here the difference and then reached across the table to the menu in front of me and just haggardly pointed to the two items. It was at this time I believe she overheard me refer to her treatment of the situation as rude, to the gentleman I was dining with. It was at that point she began to avoid all eye contact with me, refused to look me in the eyes, neglected to so bye , or have a nice day or any common courtesy one might expect from an employee. She did however take the time to say goodbye and have a nice day to the gentleman I was with, who was leaving about 4 feet behind me. This retro diner experience made me realize some people should have just stayed in the 50 s. Waffles were delicious. Wheelchair accessibility: Who cares

Brought in my cousin from put out of town, he walked in with an almost empty cup (from a different food place). The owner booked the entrance and gave us so much SAS without so much as a greeting first.

Was in the area and initially was going to the Newmarket Wimpys but it has shut down So found the Aurora version on Young St. and glad I did. Been to alot of Wimpys and got say this one surpassed my expectations. Got there just after 1pm on a Tuesday so it was not overly busy. This has to be the smallest Wimpys I have ever been on. Small but still followed that 50s theme Loved it. Ordered the burger, cheese, sauted onions, bacon and mushrooms along with fries. IT WAS PERFECT. Fries golden with slight crispness The burger was to die for.eat was moist, tender and tasty. Cooked to perfection. I can honestly say that that burger easily made my top ten, no, top 3 list. Had to thank the cook and also a heads up to our waitress. Oh forgot to mention a chocolate store right next door. If I did not know better I died and went to foodie heaven. Parking: Empty LCBO store beside store for parking.

I live in Barrie, where there is also an awesome Wimpys. Anyway I had a lovely breakfast here, and Cindy the waitress made me laugh and took good care of my step-dad. Great food, great service, good prices!

I used to enjoy eating at Wimpys. It was my go-to for a good breakfast, or if I wanted to get a solid diner meal. Not too expensive and decent food. We went here for dinner and got a steak with mashed potatoes and vegetables, and an egg breakfast with home fries. The steak was ok, but the mashed potatoes and vegetables were just bagged, frozen cut carrots and peas (not made in house). Mashed potatoes were store bought, and we honestly just bagged them to take home and throw out later. The home fries that came with the eggs were sliced, cooked potatoes, which might have been fine if I hadnt ordered them wanting something that wasnt so wet and had a crisp to them. Service was very friendly and the atmosphere is just like I remember it, but we paid more than anticipated for two people ($70+) and it was not the quality I was hoping for. Its too bad because I really wanted a good breakfast joint I could hit when I was in the mood. Parking: Easy enough to park. Not a challenge for dinner.

I have been going to Wimpis for many years now. Today after a long night shift at the Hospital I decided to go back and have my regular order. It does not matter how many days go by or how many lockdowns they go through, the server and the cook always remember my order. I want to give a big Thanks to Heather, Francine and Dania for being exceptional servers and to the cook Pan for always making my meals after work testy and enjoyable.

My favourite joint to get breakfast in Aurora! I always come here after my 12 hour night shifts to get the early bird special. Service by Heather and Pan are amazing and they really know how to make you feel at home. Plus, you can never go wrong with the vintage 1950 s diner vibe :)

The food was tantalizing enough to encourage a 14 year old to actually sit down and dine in! After thoroughly demolishing her junior burger (which she said she could never finish), she attacked the large plate of onion rings with gusto. The chicken stir-fry on special was delicious and more than adequate for an adult. We look forward to returning soon!

I called to ask the restaurant what time they were open until, they told me 9pm, we arrived at 8pm and they told us they were closed. I asked why they did tell me that on the phone? Told me no one knew they were closing early.

My first time at Wimpys Diner. It was fantastic experience. I loved it. I ordered for vegetable omelette. One of the best breakfast I had. Portion size is great as well.

When you want a good meal and a diner experience this is a good choice. Fast friendly and affordable. Burgers are always a good choice.

Small place. Service was good and attenuative. Décor was nice for a old-school looking kind of diner. The food however, was non-satisfactory. Both my partner and I ordered the flashback combo. The home fries are disgusting. Soggy, bland. Home fries are supposed to be crispy. Pro tip: oil, salt, pepper, a sprinkle of garlic powder and paprika. medium heat, toss until crispy. I didnt like the peameal bacon either. Too much of a porky taste and seemed slightly undercooked. My partner didnt like the sausages but I didnt mind them, and she didnt mind the peameal bacon. My pancakes were okay, and I did like that the server offered an option to add something to them such as fruit. I chose blueberries. Some of the seating areas are super small. We were seated in a two seat one small square table section which had some music box thing sticking out of the wall which was taking up space. I asked if the music box worked, the server said no. Well if it worked, Id understand the placement of it but lets be honest, Im sure customers would prefer more room to eat than to have this useless ornament sticking out on the side of the wall, especially for a small location with limited seating. In comparison to my other breakfast experiences, Frans breakfast (big breakfast ideally) is vastly superior for a similar price. The place was jammed packed when we showed up close to noon, so I know my review will hold no merit since they obviously have a massive clientele but for those new to the area and are looking for a diner with a quality breakfast, this place aint it. Good service though. I would have given 4 stars if the home fries werent so disgusting.

Had dinner here and there was a hair in my food...once I discovered the hair I didnt finish the rest of my food...there solution was to offer me a $3 discount lol......absolutely horrible. I wont ever come here again and I advise other people to do the same.

The food is over priced ,I asked for side salad and did not realize 11 dollars for a salad and food was no flavour . The service was good.

Went recently for dinner with my family. I had the burger which looks like something youd find in the frozen food aisle at a discount grocery store - even looked like it had fake grill marks on it too. Not only was it not what i was expecting, but it was extremely over priced.

This Wimpys location is excellent! Myself, husband and kids all love it. My favorite dish is chicken parmesan and Ive actually converted from east side marios to Wimpys - theres is bigger, tastier, a lot more pasta is given and theres always enough sauce! Whether dining in or takeout its always a great experience.

Excellent diner! One time I asked for something that used to be on the menu but had been taken off, and they made it for me anyway. Its my kind of place!

This was my first time ever having Wimpys and I really enjoyed it. Unfortunately, I can not give a review of the restaurant, or the staff, as due to COVID, I ordered from Uber Eats. I ordered 2lbs of wings, with waffle fries. Even though this was a delivery, they were very fast, about 20 minutes from order to my door; this was a Friday evening of a long weekend, right at dinner time. The food was still hot, the wings were juicy, and the fries were still crisp. To sum up, fast service, good food, fair price, I will definitely order from them again.

I was so disappointed today, I usually go there with my wife, and we usually have no issues, yhr service is amazing but today the cook was having a fit when I ask to pls do not mix my food with pork, it is because Im highly allergic to it, he was being very loud and it seemed that it was a big deal to do it, the waitress try to tell him,but it seem to agraviated more. If you suffer of an allergy, I guess just dont go there! The cook wont accommodate you. They lost a loyal customer thanks to a lazzy cook!

Always consistent, friendly, and great food.

Great diner/establishment. I get breakfast here several times a week. Literally more than i make it in my own kitchen so obviously the food is great. The severs Jenna and Heather are always amazingly friendly even when working 12 hours shifts and the place is very busy I have never not been treated kindly and greeted with smiles. The owner Pan is a great man, very kind and friendly. I would rate 6 stars if i could! My favorite place to eat in all of Aurora

Really good Western Sandwich. The service was excellent. We asked for the sandwich and an order of toast so we could split the Western.... It is 4 eggs! For the first time ever, having gone to several Wimpys locations, the server had the cook make two sandwiches for us. A little thing but much appreciated. I suggest you go and try the food yourself

Food and service is great, and with the friendly smile and good humour from Francine everything is perfect.

We had a fantastic experience here. Was greeted very warmly when we arrived. The place is very small and cozy. We were told to choose where to sit and a server came immediately with menus. Service was very friendly and the food came quick. Quality of the food was excellent. We ordered breakfast and we enjoyed every item. Overall this is a great little spot. Only thing is it could use a heck of a deep clean especially the window sills.

Classic diner experience. A small location with maybe 12 tables or so. Very good service from experienced and friendly wait staff. Food came out nice and hot if not super quick. Eggs cooked well which is nice at a place that serves an all day breakfast. Its not fine dining so consider that in the rating. In its category its a good value and good quality.
