Nice staff but pretty expensive yet basic sushi. Menu is nothing special that you wouldnt find at any other sushi place but $15 for 8 pieces of rainbow sushi is crazy - almost $2 per piece! Had miso soup and the tofu in it is not very fresh.

Such a nice place for dinner. Been here a few times and the staff is always so kind. The sweet little waitress is the nicest lady ever. 10/10 service and would recommend again

We ordered all you can eat sushi for dinner. They had a lot of options from your basic rolls to hand rolls to sashimi. The portions are great and quality is top notch, not like what you get usually when ordering for all you can eat. We especially liked calamari and tempura (both shrimp and vegetable ones). Something special they had was garlic and butter sautéed mushrooms and shrimp, which were delicious. The place is clean and decor is nice, kinda European mixed with Japanese. Price is reasonable for the amount and quality you get. Will come back for sure. Parking: lots of free parking space outside restaurant

This place is an all you can eat.. But they also have order off the menu.. Fish is not fresh it has been frozen... So just order rolls..

It s really gone downhill. Used to be my favourite restaurant of all time and went almost weekly. It was always consistently amazing. I moved away and recently went back and it was awful. The food had gone way downhill and the service was awful. It was disappointing.

Had a short rib bento box. Was very good. My brother in law had fire and ice rolls which were very good also. Good and friendly service. Clean. Vegetarian options: They have vegetarian options Parking: Plenty of parking as it is in a large plaza

I stopped coming here just before Covid the restaurant went down hill the service was horrible and food tasted gross. Decided to try this place again, and oh my gosh AMAZING! I m pretty sure it s under new ownership. The layout has changed, customer service is amazing, and food is delicious along with big portion size for all you can eat! Definitely will be coming back!

I absolutely love this place and it has become my go to food place whenever i m in aurora, the owners are always so welcoming and the food quality never changes! Definitely my favourite place to go to if i m ever eating out and i will of course be coming back!

Had the all you can eat and ordered various dishes! I had Chicken Fried Rice, Sweet and Sour Chicken, and plenty of Sushi which were all delicious. Both the service and atmosphere were great. There were pretty Christmas decorations set up around the restaurant and the overall vibe was quite comforting. There was also a cute gazebo outside along with trees wrapped in Christmas lights. Great for taking pictures! Will definitely come again!

Wonderful atmosphere and super-friendly staff. The menu is great and I recommend them to all my friends. I wish there were more maki options, but their current selection is great, and everyone should try them. The atmosphere is so chill and pleasant, and they always have some smooth music playing which adds to the cozy atmosphere. Parking: Tons of parking. The lot is maintained in the winter and ploughed regularly when there is snowfall.

MEDIOCRE AT BEST Went to this place because I was craving some sushi and I should ve read the reviews. I never leave reviews on a restaurant but I had to on this one. The sushi and rolls were terrible and the sashimi was okay. The staff was rude and very inattentive even though I was the ONLY one at the restaurant. Definitely would not recommend this place and will not return.

Me and my friends came here previously and before our todays experience we would say it s an amazing. Place but after today I change my mind me and my friends went in today hoping to have a good time, first of all, they forced separated the people who were getting all you can eat and those ordering from register menu, fine until now. Then one of my friends saw tiny hair in her shrimp tempura and when we told them they tried to convince us that it s not hair (mind you it was one lady arguing with us the entire time), we said okay fine we continued to other our food, then one of my other friends found a Tory hair in hair sushi and we confronted them again but still same answer as before!! The lady told my friend that if you don t want to pay just say it and of course that was hurtful because that s not how we planned our day to go!! We got up to pay and go but because of the horrible customer service we were not expecting to pay full price because we barely ate anything first of all and secondly it was horrible costumer service we had to argue for one of my friends who had her first bite of the shrimp tempura to not pay because she literally did not eat anything !! We still said okay and my other friend with the sushi issue still paid full price although she literally has only one bite of that sushi anyways all of us who got all you can eat and Barry ate anything had to pay full price!!!! At first the lady said 20 dollars each but then at the end our total all together came to 118 dollars which was the original price with absolutely no discount!!! Ruined our day to the fullest we are not happy customers. Last time I came I was so happy with everything that I brought new customers but this is just not acceptable who s I didn t came to this place today. NO THANK YOU!!!!!!

I wish I could give this place no starts! Food was terrible but service was even worse! We were a group of five people and 2 of us found hair in the food. Despite the terrible service and bad food they charged us full price for all the food we didn t eat and when we told them about the hair they accused us of not wanting to pay. Do yourselves a favour and NEVER VISIT this place.

Restaurant was clean and wasnt busy when we visited. Food was good and high quality. Price was decent. First order was quick to arrive, but second order took longer due to a visit from a health inspector. Waitress was very kind but not particularly attentive. A great place for sushi!

Where do I start????? The grey tuna or my sticky used spoon? I used to come here all the time and this was one of the worst experiences I ve ever had at a sushi restaurant. The food was awful, I can t believe they even thought it was okay to put rotting dark grey tuna on the table.. I wouldn t even serve that in prison. The service was fine because we were the only table but the server was not nice or friendly at all. Im shocked how downhill this place has gotten, definitely never going back considering I paid 40$ for just the rotting AYCE, let alone drinks on top of that.

Poor poor sushi restaurant. Just dined in, I hope we don t have diarrhea. Disgusting! I had a la carte and my portions were a joke. My husband had AYCE and the food was tasteless, something was wrong with their rice and soya sauce, it was sour like vinager, something very odd and left a sour taste we had to leave the food. The server was inexperienced but was nice. Just ambience, food taste, presents garbage. Don t waste your money.

Great place. Great food Edit: well after not being here for about 3 years it seems to be under new management. The upgrade to the decor is nice but thats where it ends. After finding not 1 but 2 hairs in 2 different dishes this place has really hit rock bottom. Then the owner took forever to come see us. Then comes up saying we put it in the dish. Lesson learned

Initially i posted 5 star review as we used to go there often, great food. After Covid the quality went down and prices went up. We stopped going there

Good sushi and a lot less expensive than other places in Aurora

We used to come here weekly. Hands down the best sushi place around. We LOVED it. We got sushi from here for take out (not knowing it was under new ownership). It will sadly be the last time. The sushi was not fresh, the rolls have changed, it was made very sloppy, just fell apart when you picked it up. The price was also way higher. More money for low quality, not good tasting sushi. I knew the second I tried it that something was up because this place was always amazing. Found out after it was under new ownership. Going to miss this place and the friendly staff I used to get to see here :(

Was happy to find a Sushi place in Aurora. However, we were very disappointed. We ordered Dynsmite. It is the smallest Dynamite we have ever had.

Unfortunately our experience with sushi kui was not a positive one When we called to order we asked if the restaurant was under new ownership and we were assured it was not. I found out as soon as I had a bite of the food that it was no longer the same owners. We used to go to sushi kui once a week pre pandemic. Haven t gone since and couldn t wait eat it again. We order hand rolls, Maki rolls, steamed rice and crab rangoons. The rice and crab were good. But the hand rolls I couldn t bite off the seaweed it was so spongy. Had to use my fingers to tear it. We had asked for extra crispies and they did put them on The maki roll didn t have any crispies on them, and kept falling apart when we d pick them up. I went online after eating very little of our order to see reviews and that s where I saw they had indeed changed owners. I called restaurant to say we weren t very happy with the food or being lied too and the owner hung up. So needless to say, we will not be going back. Prices up, food substandard, too many other choices in Newmarket/aurora now. Too bad, it was our favourite place for sushi. :(

My fiance and I love this restaurant. It has a unique, eclectic coziness. The staff are always friendly and there are tons of options on the All You Can Eat menu. Im vegan so its often hard to find sushi restaurants with a variety for me but there are so many meatless options in addition to all of the meat options. Definitely recommend this place!

Amazing sushi, huge portions, plus it s all you can eat! You really can t go wrong if you re going here. It tastes amazing, and as a genuine sushi lover, I would recommend. (LOVED their crab tempura)

I ordered a salmon poke bowl for my lunch. The appearance is appealing. The chef is lavish in providing salmon sashimi, crab meat and vegetables. Your final spoon of sushi rice will still have plenty of chopped salmon sashimi. The salmon sashimi is very fresh. The spicy flavour and the salad sauce are well balanced. I previously ordered a party tray from this restaurant. The sashimi is very fresh. This visit shows the consistency in food quality. Appreciate. We had lunch at the patio. The waitress is very polite, patient, attentive and diligent. Wonderful. Social distance is strictly practiced. The place is also very clean.

Sushi was good and thats about it! Indoor dinning used to be good, outdoor was a big let down. Service was poor, patio leaves much to be desired, served in plastic red solo cups and had to ask for glass cups, all you can eat prices were ridiculous for lunch time $28 (compared to similar places)

The quality of food is lower than before. Salmon Sushi consists of only rice and a thin layer of salmon. Rolls are stuffed with low quality ingredients. Hot tea; I would say Hot water!

Calamari is rubbery, gyoza is dry, rice for the sushi is poorly seasoned and the quality of food does not warrant the price point in any way. I dont expect to be given Styrofoam cups and be expected to pay 40 bucks per person. Only redeeming qualities are the service and the shrimp tempura was pretty good.

Awful place. We had dinner all you can eat*. Every roll taste like a vinegar and it was simply spoiled food. We complained to restaurants stuff. They didnt offer to replace the order and told us its the way they make rice. We cancelled our order but the still charged us the full price. Bad food and awful service.

Overall, not bad but not perfect. The rolls are sometimes too big and have too much rice... it s a matter of taste though. The service was nice. I live close but don t come here often anymore. Cute ambiance, convenient quiet location.

Hope there s a mistake with the new online menu, been going to this location for years mostly take outs, new menu shows up to 50 % price increase for take out platters, 28 $ is now 43 $ etc. no complaints for food quality or service but I won t go back

My family has been going to this restaurant for a number of years. I placed an other this past Saturday with a hard copy of the menu that I received from the last take out order thinking that the prices are current. I was wrong. The prices have gone up again!! I order 3 Bento boxes dinners. The Tempura only had vegetables and no shrimps (2). The 6 California rolls were replaced with 3 very small cucumber rolls and 3 salmon rolls. The Bento box with the beef was disappointing because the beef was very chewy. My husband and I have decided that we would try another Japanese restaurant next time.

I came here a few years ago and had a nice experience. The food was good and so was the service. This time around did not even come close to comparing with my first visit. We came to enjoy the patio considering there are not many sushi restaurants that offer this and as soon as we walked in the waitress was extremely rude and pushy. She demanded we ordered our drinks right away and didn t even give us a moment to settle in. Every time she would come to the table she made it feel as though she had to rush away to be elsewhere and that we were inconveniencing her. We were the only people there by the way and all she was running to do was go on her phone inside... The food was less than mediocre and we left completely unsatisfied. When we finished eating we were not asked if we wanted anything else, instead we were told to go inside to pay. She practically threw the machine at my boyfriend and told him to check the price while she was on her phone and having a conversation with the chef. It s smelled horrible and dirty inside and the sushi chef was not even wearing a mask when we walked in to pay. I am extremely disappointed and dissatisfied and I will never come here again, I understand times are difficult during COVID but this was just ridiculous.

The food was sub par at best. The fish was not fresh and had a distinct excessive soft texture. Took just about 60 min from order to get any food. All rolls came with Alvacado which was only too soft to add to the unpleasant texture. Lastly, when the food was brought out on to the patio I watched the leaky ac unit drip on to a roll. I refused to touch that roll. All in all not a great experience Will not be back

Today I came in to dine the server didn t greet us just pointed at a table to sit there, we kindly asked to sit on the patio and the server rolled her eyes and said sure. We walked ourselves to our table outside. She then came outside to give us water and said come inside to tell me what you want to order. This completely unacceptable service, she is a server she should be serving us, not asking us to come and get inside the restaurant to tell her what we want. She is a young lady with highlights in her hair and has tattoos. This is not my first time being served by her, she is incredibly rude and always has an attitude. This was my final straw, after she told me to come inside when we are ready I had gotten up and took my business somewhere else. I will not be returning again.

The fattest rolls with fresh fish at a great price. Literally the best sushi I ve had in the Newmarket, Stouffville, Aurora area. Service is not the cheeriest but we are in the midst of a pandemic. Leave them a nice tip

Will never order from them again. Screwed up our order. We had to drive back to get three dishes left out. Tempura was greasy and you could see a pool of grease in bottom of container.

I received a $50 gift coupon a while back, I recently wanted to use the coupon and was told it is no longer valid EVEN THOUGH their own website says that the coupons NEVER expire. Extremely yikes. Not a fan of losing $50 just because they decided its no longer valid. False advertising.

I hate to say it, but unfortunately this isn t the same place it used to be. All you can lunch prices a Have almost doubled, and the food isn t as great as it used to be. I used to eat here every other week. But after this experience I will not be going back. We had to go looking for someone to help us get drinks, soy sauce, even plates. The amount of time it took for us to see a server made us wonder if they had forgotten about us. Very disappointed.

Service was impeccable, and the staff was very friendly! Choices and options for the all you can eat are generous. We ordered a few things off the all you can eat, and they double checked to make sure we understood wed have to pay, as opposed to surprising us later!

Have to agree with others here that sushi is the smallest size possible. They also dont serve all of the items that you order, and casually forget some of the more expensive options. Interior is really run down and place was almost deserted during dinner time. Expect to pay high end restourant prices for adults all you can eat and $8.99 kids meal. Only positive is that sushi tasted good.

Sushi was very tasty but very small and a bit expensive....for what you will usually pay for an all you can eat. Also my son who barely ate anything as he is almost 3 was charged 8$ which I thought was a bit unfair but other than that everything was good!

Sushi Kui is a shell of what it used to be. This used to be my favourite AYCE. I dont know what happened. It seems like corners are being cut and the quality really suffers. Over use of mayo and tiny pieces of fish or cold, reheated, soggy fried shrimp in their rolls. Overall, really disappointing.

Its very good energy and delicious plentiful food! But it is a small kind of hole in the wall restaurant

To be honest ...a little pricey for what you get. The decor is in need of a serious update. We went for my wifes birthday - June 12. 4 of us. There were Christmas decorations, Valentines Day decorations, and maybe even Easter decorations! There was a lot going on decoration wise!! And the chairs were taped up... The food was, however, very good, but again not sure it was worth the 27.99 all you can eat (each). This is definitely not the Mandarin. I enjoyed the food...but not the price. Prob wont go back. Cheers!

Sushi is fine, missing seaweed salad and shrimp tempura because they only have it on certain days. The green dragon isnt very well made compared to other sushi places. However the rest is very good

We dont go anywhere else for sushi, this is the best weve found and the pricing is good. We even order their party trays when having events and everyone loves it. Their volcano salad is to die for!

We were told by the owner that if we dont finish what we ordered, well be charged $1 per piece. Thats fine, except that we were still eating, and there are other customers sitting around us. The restaurant will also short serve you on sashimis that youve ordered, so if say you want 20 pieces, you might as well order 40 pieces, because then youll probably really get the 20 pieces you wanted. I mean I get it that the owners are cheap, but at least maintain basic human decencies and hospitality adequate, otherwise why get into the business in the first place? Will never visit again!

Compared to other all you can eat sushi restaurants, the rice itself wasnt right spiced at all and it was bigger. However, the sasimi part was small and looked dry. (Rice took about 8-90% of the sushi) Because of these I left some sushi and payed with an extra left over pay fee. This was okay to pay, but the staffs talked in their language with a bad tone, which seemed talking about me and it felt rude.

Terrible ! The waitresses were INCREDIBLY RUDE , completely ignored us to the point where we flagged down the gentleman owner and asked for our bill without getting some of our food (which never arrived or acknowledged that we did not receive it). They should be completely ashamed with how they treat people. The decor is outdated, unclean, and most of the chairs had duct tape holding them together. I would NOT GO HERE OR RECOMMEND THIS PLACE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE!!! I am so appalled.
