By far my favorite restaurant! The parmesan fondues, beef tartare, burratina and braised venison stew are excellent!!

Ce que nous avons vraiment apprécié cest la belle vue sur une baie. Nous avons remarqué que seulement une serveuse avait le souci du client. Côté bouffe, frites froides, plus de bavette donc supposé remplacer par du filet mignon mais pas sur que c était du filet mignon et presque froid. Vérifier votre facture, le prix affiché n est pas toujours le même. Déception

The restaurant is located inside the Le Manoir hotel. There is a terrace with a beautiful view of the sea. The restaurant does not have beer on tap, but offers cans of beer from the Baie-Comoise St-Pancrace microbrewery. We had a bloody ceasar and an apricot sour which were very good. We ordered and it took about an hour before we received our plates, but the waitress told us it was due to an unusual delay in the kitchen. The salmon tartare starter was quite good, the salmon was of the same quality as a frozen salmon fillet taken at Costco that had been thawed (the proof being the pink juice coming from the salmon on the plate): not exceptional, but not bad. The portion was a bit small and had too many capers. Also, I wasnt expecting a starter to be served with a big salad on the side, but it was very good. The bread croutons served with it were good. The crab cake (a single crab cake about 8cm in diameter) was good, and you could taste that they used real crab, and the spicy mayo served on the side was good. The salad served with it was delicious: colorful and crunchy vegetables, creamy and a little sweet mustard and maple vinaigrette. The cream of mushroom soup is probably the best Ive eaten in my life, homemade, nice and thick with a bun for dipping, and they put pieces of oyster mushrooms in it to vary the textures. The Caesar salad starter was inedible: the croutons tasted like no-name brand croutons (and I suspect they were), the cheese was similar to pre-shredded saputo mozzarella with cornstarch around it, the bacon was not crispy, rather soft. The dressing tasted like salad dressing from the grocery store. And about 1/3 of the salad was lettuce, the rest was the toppings mentioned above. The waitress was very courteous and gave good service. We would have stayed longer, but the heaters on the terrace didnt work and since it was evening, it started to get very cold. Salmon tartare starter: 6/10 Crab cake: 7.5/10 Cream of mushroom soup: 9/10 Caesar salad starter: 0/10 Apricot sour: 8/10 Bloody Caesar: 8/10

At the beginning we were completely ignored and no one came to take our order. Then someone came who unfortunately only spoke French and we had to wait for someone who also spoke English. Thats why we waited probably 30 minutes until we could order. Unfortunately, we were sitting right at the entrance/exit to the terrace, so there was quite a hustle and bustle right next to us. We ordered Chips Maison as a starter. Unfortunately it was the 2.50 Walmart chips with a bit of dip in a plastic cup. For the main course we had the burger, a poutine, and mussels. The burger was very dry and the meat was burnt. The mussels were okay and the poutine was very cheese heavy and very small. The price was quite okay. Kid-friendliness: No childrens menus Wheelchair accessibility: Rather difficult. Lots of thresholds.

Reservations at this restaurant are open until noon, but it closes at noon. No dinner possible!! A family who is hungry, who is disappointed and who will not give good publicity, who will not come back!!! The worst being the employee who takes me for an idiot on the phone. Lousy.

Great place, good food!

OMG! Without exaggerating; One of the best restaurants Ive eaten at in my life! High-end cuisine clearly cooked by a chef and with fresh ingredients and spectacular flavors! I have tasted 4 main dishes so far and it is a culinary experience. Impeccable service from Cindy! And a selection of local micro beers. Well done!!!

Without a word... Everything was perfect. The surf & turf, the grilled salmon wabush style and the Caesar salad, we loved it! And the portions of cake were huge! We had cheesecake/white chocolate/raspberry and the carrot cake, they were delicious! Good quality price. You can even eat outside if you wish.

When I arrived at the restaurant, I had to wait at the entrance to be seated. There were several waitresses at the bar who looked at me but didnt come to get me, there was even one who passed by me, I said hello to her and didnt even answer me. Finally a girl from the bar who looked as stupid as her feet came to look for me to ask me what I wanted (A table Duh...) she finally took me to a table outside, brought me utensils without ever telling me say a word and leave a paper menu on the table. (at that moment I was on the verge of collapsing my camp). There I ended up understanding that no one wanted to serve me (probably because I didnt look as rich as the other customers in the place). Finally, I grabbed probably the youngest of the lot who came to serve me with a big smile and came to see me several times to ask me how I was going and if everything was good. The service was A1 with her. The others must have bitten their fingers if they saw the tips I left for him. That said, the food was very good and the view from the terrace is perfect. View of the river, small terrace heaters, the whole package. Its really just missing someone like the young girl who served me tonight.

I had a very nice evening there. The wine list was well balanced and the dishes fresh and tasty. The view of the St. Lawrence River adds to the experience.

The Carpaccio starter is actually 5 slices of defrosted fondue meat. Very disappointing because a real Italian Carpaccio would never have been served this way. As long as theyre serving this, they should just take it off the menu. The prices are expensive for what we are served.

Beautiful place, beautiful view, good food but I find it a shame that St-Pancrace beers are sold for $11 when they themselves offer them for less than $7 at their restaurants... its still a considerable price gap. Otherwise, a good restaurant and a nice hotel.

Beautiful bistro - in Baie Comeau - We asked for a peaceful table and Vincent granted our request. There were only 3 of them for the whole restaurant but super efficient with a smile on their lips! Delicious scallop, tasty ossobuco, without too much sauce to spoil the taste. Superb terrace. Beautiful evening - THANK YOU

A very relaxed place with a nice chic atmosphere! A great terrace with a view of the river (not open when I was there) great service (nice to see young people taking over as waiters) a simple menu with good choices and very good quality. For a different dessert, have the cheesecake with a piece of carrot cake covered in caramel a pure delight. If you go through Baie-Comeau, a stop is essential.

We booked for lunch on a Sunday at 11 a.m. and my family had come down from Quebec for a gathering. I was very disappointed. I missed leaving as soon as we arrived. Lunch wasnt even at the bistro upstairs with a view of the sea and the marina They directed us to the basement, it s basically a cafeteria-style reception room. You should be honest and tell people that the bistro is only open for dinners and whats more, the service elevator was broken so for an elderly and slightly disabled person all those stairs were a bit of a problem Oh well, I sent them beautiful photos of the bistro, they were disappointed, that s my comment. By the way, the service was impeccable and the lunch was delicious.

How to say 50% Dinner July 18, 2022 I love seafood, my boyfriend is more traditional. Me A1 Linguine with seafood (North coast) delicious garnished with a beautiful lobster tail, it was beautiful and good, My boyfriend took the flank steak, poor him, let me explain, he doesnt like rare meat, but medium no problem, Ill come to it, so ask for well done, we know a better medium flank steak, but we all know that in restaurants, the meat is always less cooked than asked for, well... But he received it charred, the waitress didnt even dare to look at my boyfriend when putting the plate down. 2 tbsp of meat place on a packet of fries with a tbsp of sauce. I tell my boyfriend, lets see, you cant eat that...turn it over... No, theyre making fun of me, no one professional would have delivered that, they saw it too, lets see and to spit on the other, no,,,, I respected his choice, when collecting the plates I went to the toilet Waitress never asked him if he liked it, the plate was almost still full just finished? Wow Im not coming back yet.. For dessert the waitress never looked at my boyfriend, neither at the coffee, nor at the bill, ever. Always polite to me though, What a lack of professionalism, never seen my boyfriend in his life, were not from the area at all Its valuable because my boyfriend leaves tips of 25 to 30%, you were still lucky $20 on a $155 bill, he left your share for me.. Very disappointing crab cake, super thick fried for almost no meat. I was jealous of other peoples dishes.

Good salmon tartare, the cut could be thinner but the seasonings are excellent. Totally disorganized service. 30 minutes to have an aperitif, with very low traffic and several people serving. Lack of professionalism: we talk from one end of the bar to the other about an unpleasant customer, in full view of the other customers. The food is good but the staff, although friendly and smiling, should be better trained and better supervised. Breathtaking river view.

The food is delicious, the prices reasonable. The atmosphere on the terrace is good. I went there twice. There Cod was just perfect and the vegetables on the side were prepared wonderfully. As there was no flank steak left, I was offered the filet mignon. The only downside is the welcome. I was ignored both times when entering the restaurant. The employees were busy shouting orders to each other among the customers. Otherwise I highly recommend.

I really enjoyed our visit. We went there for a drink late in the afternoon. We were on the terrace with a breathtaking view of the river. The atmosphere is quiet and relaxed.

Unfortunately despite a very good meal we left with an extremely bitter taste of the place. We came to eat on the evening of June 14 and were served by a redheaded lady in her forties. This is by far the worst service we had during our entire North Coast trip. She never came to ask how our meal was going once. I had to call out to her so that she finally refilled my glass. When we left after we still gave her a very decent tip of 15% she asked us if we wanted our bill, after we declined she left without saying anything more. Rarely have such cold service in a restaurant. Very disappointing for the quality of the food and the place.

Terrible service and much too long (1 hour before receiving our entry). List of alcohol and cocktails not worth the detour. The food is ok and the view is nice. End of positive aspects.

My best experience on the North Coast in a long time! A high-end service with a team that brings a smile and is efficient and all at a reasonable price! The menu is fabulous and of very high quality and the atmosphere incredible (not to mention the view at sunset). For my part (and those of the people accompanying me), it was a flawless experience which gave us a wonderful moment of our trip! If youre in the area this summer, dont hesitate to take a look, you wont be disappointed.

Incredible culinary experience, the friendliness of the staff, the cleanliness, the food, the view of the sunset.. we will return! We enjoyed the seafood chowder, tartare and cod. All delicious, especially the cod! In closing, we also appreciated seeing the exemplary compliance with health measures. Lentrée est arrivée froide, et les plats principaux 1 minute suivant lentrée. Nous avons du faire un rappel pour la bouteille de vin qui navait pas été apportée avec les repas ... en plus, la mauvaise bouteille a été apportée quand nous lavons finalement obtenu. Nourriture correcte mais ne vaut pas le prix, surtout considérant le service décevant !

The most beautiful terrace in town

I came twice in the week of October 18, 2021 and both times they were probably the worst meals I have ever eaten in my life. The meals were cold and not seasoned. The salad was expired, and the fries were burnt. I reported the situation and they brought us a second plate which was just as bad. So the first day I told myself that it was probably just a mistake along the way, but twice in the same week theres no mistake. I do not recommend this restaurant to anyone, so avoid it at all costs. For my part, I would never set foot there again. The servers were, however, very polite and themselves very embarrassed to present us with such plates.

Insolent waiter. Cold plate. Very slow service. Customers must manage the heat emitter on the terrace. The food was good only it would have been better hot!
