The food was delicious. Portions were very generous. Friendly and attentive staff.
We were visiting the area and looked for a restaurant. We noticed that this particular restaurant had good ratings and was one of the best in the area, so we decided to go there. However, it started raining, and when we arrived, we were told they couldn’t accommodate us because we didn’t have a reservation. It was frustrating because, as visitors to the area for the first time, we had no idea that a reservation was necessary. They didn’t try to offer any accommodation or help, simply suggesting we go somewhere else. When we asked for recommendations coz we don’t know the area, they directed us to another restaurant called “saint James au bar de l’eau” Unfortunately, it was a bad choice, as we had already bad experience there previously and had even written a negative review about it. It would have been helpful if the restaurant had made their reservation policy clearer on their website or social media platforms. This way, visitors like us would be better informed and able to plan accordingly, ensuring a better experience.
The chowder looks great !!! And tasted amazing too :). The food was really good it took an hour between entree and the main dish. That was the only complaint :). Fantastic food though.
A poissonnerie with a lot of ready to eat food for tourist like me! Got my yo go dinner here. They even have poke bowls! Very fresh and yummy smoked salmon. The maple salmon was ok. The price is reasonable. A great spot for local seafood. The restroom is very clean with nice decor!
Great fresh seafood and PokiBowl....April there is fresh crab meat and meals twice a week....a must try if in this part of the world!!

A store & restaurant combined. Heavenly seafood platter with equally heavenly beer. Fully satisfied my appettite. Friendly staff, the waitress was very helpful even though we had a small language barrier. Their shop is fully stocked with seafood, spices & assorted preserves.
Love this place! Top quality food at reasonable prices. Love the fish and chips and local microbrewery selection. I make sure I always stop in here on my way to Labrador.

Very good place, the meals are incredible. The beef and salmon tartars are fresh and the fish and chips served in a nice crispy crust. All accompanied by truly timeless beer fries. A real treat. Ps: we went back to eat incredible mussels, the price goes with the plate We had a great time and I wouldnt hesitate to go back

According to locals, it s the restaurant to try par excellence and I understand why! The menu is very varied, seafood lobster!!! The surf & turf looks delicious to me. I had a beef tartare, it was very well seasoned! The roll had a little too much salad in my opinion, but it was still very good. The waitress Lorie is very courteous! There is a terrace the cocktails are good, but it tastes a lot more like juice than alcohol. The value for money is excellent! It s a must in the region without a doubt!

A great discovery for me in Baie Comeau. A small bistro with incredible service. The waitresses were smiling and the service impeccable. We ate very well, I hope to return soon.

During our recent visit to Baie Comeau, we were highly recommended this restaurant. We were not disappointed; it was simply super delicious. The scallop was exquisite, filled to perfection with shrimp, scallops and lobster, all in a well-prepared creamy sauce. The service is excellent, courteous and warm. We will surely return there during our next stop in Baie Comeau. Congratulations.

The salmon was dry, the fries hardened, the dressing too vinegary, the rice tasteless.
Not open for our dinner, but we were able to eat an excellent generous pokebowl prepared on site on their terrace. Fishmonger side; great choices but mostly frozen.

Employees are friendly. We stopped for a quick lunch in mid-July. However, little variety for take-out meals. There were only poke bowls. Also, we were looking for whelks (bourgots) and our understanding through their website was that we could purchase in different formats including at the checkout. When we visited, there were only canned goods and the price was the same individually as at the box. So, no discounts if you buy in bulk.

Great night! Great service! The captains dish to share is worth it. It was so fresh and delicious. We spent about 2.5 hours and I absolutely do not regret my visit. I highly recommend. Good beers, good food! Even the starters, DELICIOUS!

Interesting place, we were very well served. We tasted the crab-flavored . And we had to recommend the chefs choice for dinner and it was impeccable.
The menu is very good but during our visit there were not enough serving staff to manage the restaurant. Two hours of waiting to get our meals. Solution: close certain sections to restrict the number of customers.

I brushed my teeth 3 times that evening to remove the garlic taste I had in the back of my throat. I thought that by taking the most expensive and largest plate on the menu I was going to go for a safe bet... (~$60) But absolutely everything tastes like the chalice of garlic butter!!

The plate from the sea bistro was excellent. On the other hand, the rice tasted like Uncles Ben 2 minutes rice. Also, the service was painful - at least 1 hour between starter and meal. It was too long, the order of arrival of customers was not respected. We thought the waitress had forgotten us..

Very very beautiful, very good atmosphere, there are a lot of people given that it is a very popular and touristy restaurant. The service was fast despite the fact that it was very busy. Each of the employees were smiling and helpful! Obviously the meal (Le trio de la mer) was delicious, my boyfriend had another plate (Seafood linguine) which was also a hit! If you like seafood and ambiance, you have to book there and stop by! I really liked this evening! We even celebrated another clients birthday, pretty much everyone joined in! Its a really warm and wonderful place.

Good food...but too expensive
The portions are not huge, but the quality of the ingredients is excellent. Good value for money for the north coast. Special mentions, several (5) Quebec gins on the menu!! We just need to improve the wine list by the glass, and a little more choice of cocktails to accompany the dishes (not sweet aperitifs). The childrens menu is very good, better than many. I will add a second choice of fish. Ex. Crab cake?

Very disappointing.. 4 cooks, 20 place settings, 3 waitresses to serve and a long wait of 1h30. after complaints. Obviously there is confusion between managing a fish and fish products store and cooking priorities in a different order than when customers arrive. 1h30 for a 120g tartare and 12 fries. Im laughing. Good quality fish and seafood but nothing to shout about. the rest of the salad and industrial sauce and the garlic bread to dry the day before. The proof is that it is sold in stores at 4.49 per 100 gr. Too bad... it would need a chef to boost the potential.
