One of my favorites ~ and Im a picky eater! The baked garlic shrimp alone are worth the visit! Dietary restrictions: Just ask Kid-friendliness: Subdued atmosphere Wheelchair accessibility: Most of the area was accessible ~ two upper levels require assistance. Plenty of room and atmosphere for all.

We have eaten here a few times and quite enjoy the food and service that we ve had, so we brought our friends with us this time and they are still thanking us for taking them here for dinner. Everyone enjoyed the food!!!! The service was great as always, thank you!!!!!! Just wanted to add that visited again and still a good as before. We came with more friends, who requested to come here because they love the food!

Was excited to grab lunch here as I ve been looking for a Greek spot in the Barrie area It was over an hour wait despite the establishment being nowhere near capacity It was so dark in there at 4pm - I m wondering if this is a measure to save on electricity When I got home and opened my containers, the chicken was so underdone I had to throw it away There was undercooked rice grains scattered on top of the containers Not to mention the rice tasted and looked like Uncle Ben s with no salt/flavour The tzatziki sauce was not closed thus spilled in the bag What an utter dissapointment The presentation was so off putting considering the unreasonable price tag Wouldn t recommended this place, ever

We visited a year ago for a funeral luncheon with approx. 50 of our closest friends and family and we all really enjoyed the food and atmosphere. So for the 1 year anniversary of my father s passing, we decided to go back to Casa Mia for dinner with just the immediate family, and sadly we left disappointed. Food was bland, dry and nowhere near as appealing as when we ate there a year ago. It was also so dark in there you could barely read the menu. Sadly, it wasn t the greatest experience the second time around.

Amazing service and food quality 5-star. The portion size can t be beat or found anywhere like that today. Authentic and flavourful, well done.

Went to Casa Mia for the first time tonight as my husband and I were wanting some Greek food. The server approached us and was very attentive and polite. When we got or appetizer the calamari was over cooked and not fresh. The coating on the calamari was unlike we ever tasted. Some sort of cornmeal coating. We then were asked if we wanted bread we were give just plain bread,not warm or garlicky. For our meals, I had the traditional Chicken souvlaki dinner that was so disappointing. From the salad being soaked with a creamy dill dressing and big chunks of cucumber and tomato. I couldn t eat the salad. The chicken was just ok tasting. The rice was undercooked and the potatoes were cooked but tasteless. My husband had the veal marsala and took a few bites that were tasteless and the veal tasted old. He was so disappointed with his meal as I was. We were intending to have dessert but were not wanting to be there any longer. We will not be returning to this restaurant and do not recommend their food at all.

Ive been going to Casa Mia s for many years niw Ive never had a bad experience yet. A couple of tge staff members have been there as long as ive been going. They are all excellent, and care about each and every customer that comes into the restaurant . Ive been taking my girl friend there for her Birthday dinner every year and she takes me there every year.. We both absolutely love Casa Mia s Restaurant! Casa Mia used to be our go to place, our favorite for the past eight years, until this past weekend November 9, 2024. The quality of food did not support the increase in prices. There was also a piece of metal in the escargot and nothing was said or done about it, when we let our server know. Very disappointing.

The pickerel was super.

Very nice, quiet Greek restaurant with wonderful service and amazing food. The staff is always polite and smiling and the presentation and flavour of the food is always top notch! Some people might find it pricey, but I find it reasonably priced for the quality of the food. Would strongly recommend to anyone looking for a fancy and personable meal!

Nice place and good atmosphere

We recently had a wedding rehearsal dinner here. They were fantastic to deal with and service was great. We had some concerns with food allergies and they made sure all was safe. 15 people served nice hot meals and it was delicious. Thank you Casa Mia we will be back.

Outstanding food and service as always

We live in Ottawa but whenever were in the Barrie region, we always plan an evening at Casa Mia. As always, it was excellent last night. Our only suggestion would be to have a few senior options. Neither one of us could finish our meal even though they were wonderful.

Never serve pita that is as hard as a rock. Shows this restaurant doesnt care about what they serve. Never going back.

Greek salad was delicious. We both had baked pastas. Very generous servings, enough leftovers from both meals for another meal. We could have shared. Food offerings are both greek and italian. Service was great. Restaurant is dimly lit, could use some upgrading. Overall an enjoyable meal, would recommend.

This was my first time at the restaurant, and overall, it was a pleasant experience. I ordered the prime rib dinner, though it was more reminiscent of roast beef and slightly overdone. The portion was generous, but it seemed reheated, and I couldn t tell when it had been cooked. My girlfriend had the seafood pasta, which also came in a large portion with plenty of fish, but the quality wasn t quite there. The sauce lacked depth, and a bit more fish flavor and some white wine would have elevated it. We shared the chocolate cake for dessert, but unfortunately, it tasted a bit stale, like it had been sitting in the fridge for too long. Thankfully, the waitress removed it from our bill, which was appreciated. The restaurant was busy, and while our server was friendly, there were a few small service issues. I had to ask for bread twice, and when our coffee and dessert arrived, the table hadn t been cleared, so I ended up moving the plates to another empty table. Despite these minor hiccups, I d consider going back to try the souvlaki. Overall, it was a decent meal, but there s definitely room for improvement.

Casa Mia is amazing - best service and food, the staff go above and beyond. My husband and I had our wedding rehearsal dinner in August 2024 at Casa Mia, we had 35 people attend. Michelle and the staff worked with us to create a delicious menu and even took into account dietary needs for some of our bridal party, there was even some small extras like string lights and one of a kind menu cards. Our night was so special and memorable. If you are hosting a birthday dinner, anniversary, or any kind of dinner event with a big group Casa Mia will not disappoint.

After a long time, we had good Italian food. We were hesitant at first because over times the level of good Italian food and good authentic food in general has been sacrificed for profit only. We are not from Barrie but it has a mojor role in our relationship which we were celebrating yesterday. In short, Good food, Good portion sizes, Great atmosphere, Great customer service. Many thanks. Just got casa Mia for the first time in probably 10 years and I was not disappointed!! Got the souvlaki dinner for 2 to split between three people. Added an extra side Greek and a beef skewer and wow! The food is so good for the price and portion! The packing was awesome. Everything was super delicious. And the servers were super friendly !!

Though slightly over priced, I think the food was delicious and servings were a good size. We had a table of 8 and our food and drink orders were taken and filled quickly. Staff was friendly and helpful. I think some upgrades aesthetically would be my only suggestion, as it seemed dated.

I attended a birthday celebration at Casa Mia on May 13, 2022. The food and service were excellent. Several of us had prime rib and it was cooked to perfection. I have been at this restaurant on many occasions and it has always been a good experience for me. Wheelchair accessibility: The restaurant is accessible with a little help with the doors. An excellent dining experience every time. The food and staff are consistently good.

The fine dining experience is almost lost due to the atmosphere, some chairs are a little hard and the intimacy is not there. That said the food is top notch fine dining, I have absolutely no complaints and I am a very harsh reviewer when it comes to my food!! The service on the other hand, could not have been better!! Our servers were beyond reproach, with the right amount of professionalism and perfect amount of familiarity!! They served, they advised, they gave us our privacy, and they had just the perfect amount of attentiveness!! Parking: Not a lot for busy nights like Valentines

i had the pita with feta and olives and it was sooo good. best tzatziki ever . i had the fettuccine alfredo with shrimp and it was so good too. the inside is like old school italian and greek and it was a very comforting environment.

The staff are incredibly kind and sweet, knowledgeable about portion sizes (we did not want a ton of leftovers), made the necessary accommodations, great selection and the food was DELICIOUS! It s very disappointing when dining prices have gone up so much and Casa Mia discontinues proving bread or buns as you wait for our meals yet you provide a plate. I also feel the quality of the main courses have gone down. I had the (new) chicken p it lack taste. Parking: Parking was tight it the car in to close to the line. Wheelchair accessibility: Wheel chair access was good both from getting in to accessing the table

I had the pleasure of having some of the food for my sisters sweet 16 catered by Casa Mia. The roasted potatoes, pitas and spanakopita was absolutely delish, our guests enjoyed every bit of it! The service here is excellent but thats where Ill stop. The pasta tasted like spaghetti Os and had a texture like it was just warmed in a microwave and I couldnt finish the meal. The garlic bread, pasta, meatballs and cheese capellitis all tasted mediocre to poor and I wont return when there are so many other options. Definitely one of the most disappointing meals Ive had, given the reviews.
