The picture is not of the correct location. The Mapleview Barrie Burger location is the real deal, it is the best one, no question. The burgers are flavorful and the fries are top notch. I really enjoy the food here. My gf loves the poutine as well as the grilled cheese sandwich and she says the fountain drinks are nice and crispy here. I like going here a lot
Food was expensive and was not good. The Greek salads dressing was weird and did not taste good at all. Very disappointed
I walked and asked for the Banquet Burger which comes with bacon and cheese and they asked me if I wanted cheese. I advised in the past it comes with cheese and the employees said nope it does not. So I walked out. I am not paying extra for something that is suppose to come on the burger and that is why it is call the banquet burger!!!! Will tell thousands of people how you’re charging extra money when a banquet burger comes with cheese. Charging customers extra is dishonest! Will never come back.
Complete garbage… I doubt the raccoons will eat it. Burgers are dry, and overcooked. Our poutine didn’t even have cheese curds. The fries and minimal gravy were cold and defiantly from frozen. Heads up to even is working there… poutine means you add cheese curds. Just a joke never again … Barrie’s worst restaurant… yup. Pics uploading of the most pathetic food in Barrie? Hmmmm that’s a poutine? Where is the gravy and curds, we have been looking for an hour. Obviously this place has no idea…. Take my money as I’ll never return
I have eaten here several times over the past year. The staff are polite and the facilities are clean. It is not a sit down/waiter type of restaurant, rather a fast food burger place with a few tables. I have only had burger and fries, but they are fresh and you do get a lot, for a great price. They do have your typical menu, but I am so happy with my burger & fries I have yet to try anything else.
My son and I both got a bacon burger.... It was our first time trying this place out! We weren't disappointed! Great size burger and delicious old school style! Staff were friendly and helpful as first timers... Informing us of fan favorites and how it works (picking your own toppings) It was quiet when we went, mid day-mid week. Waited maybe 10min for them to cook the burgers. We will be back!
Now what can I say it was the typical burger Diner experience you get a warm feeling when you walk in but no the atmosphere wasn't that great, the food was around the same mediocre, I got the Barrie Burger with cheese as you can see there in the picture tasted like meat loaf on a stale bun. Wasnt good Fries and gravy wanst to bad. On the burger scale I'd give a 2.5. Service was really good, nice friendly staff. Probably not going back. Left a bad taste in my mouth and wife only ate half and was grossed out by the tatse of the meat.
2022 April 4/5: Burger was good, not great but good. Toppings were nice, nothing special but nice. The beef tasted like a heated up cafeteria burger done quite well. Banana peppers were nice, toppings were good enough. Nothing special about this place though it was clean inside and all the workers were very friendly. One area of MINOR concern was that they were putting the bags for takeout on the burger wrappers...included a picture below as the way they were doing it you could tell they do it all the time (plus they did it on two occasions (one of which I took a shot of below). The bags are clean (taken from where they stack the bags on the counter) so no real major hygienic concerns but still not the most hygienic practice...

Waited 3 years to try Barrie Burger on Dunlop. The place smells when you walk in, they hide the toppings and they don t really give you any. Double burger is fine but not worth the money!

Fish burger was great, big portion for the price! It was moist and crispy.
Ordered lunch online and paid. Showed up and the restaurant is closed. Called to get a refund, no help. Called other location, they tried to sell me more and also won t issue a refund. Crooks.

Came here for the first time to grab a hotdog! Staff member at the front, brunette human, was extremely friendly! Very polite and made the experience beyond wonderful!! Would recommend this place to anyone!
Burger selections are good & tasted great. I felt the price for the burger was good.. although the fries were overpriced IMO. I went with the deal/combo... the fountain drink that came with the deal was very small. (I know, I should have checked the size when I ordered).

I ordered a chicken Greek salad and unfortunately it was not good. Olives were rotten, chicken is waterlogged and the dressing is not Greek dressing. The Feta Cheese was sparse.

something about the burgers completely grossed me out, took forever to make my burgers, 2 stars cause the lady was nice at the counter, doesn t take away from the fact my burger had no taste what so ever it was so bad, and my fries were 99% deep fry matter and 1% potato, don t come here.

Been too barrie burger since they first opened. This place on mapleview dr is not the same. They use burgers made from another company. Tried there burgers twice..NEVER GOING BACK TOO THIS PLACE...young and little avr is the best

Gotta be honest here - was not impressed at all. Burgers were just ok and really nothing special at all. The family size order of fires were very disappointing - even after asking for them to be prepared well done they were soggy. A disappointing meal for what I hoped to be a good local spot.

I Had a skip the dishes experience ,I didnt receive my gravy and my veal on a bun was dry and it was topped with raw onion and black pepper no sauce . i called the owner and she argued with me that she did nothing wrong and said she made it how I wanted it and hung up on me . i am not impressed if you did nothing wrong why cant I eat my veal???

I was really disappointed in the meal we were delivered. The chicken was dry. The burger patties were like rubber. The fries were cooked way too long and were crunchy and greasy. The salad looked like a dogs breakfast. Everything tasted really cheap.
I went and waited to order. The staff member was running cash with his mask down below his mouth. I watched him touch the front of it twice and then go and flip cooking food. No food handler training? No PPE training? I decided to go elsewhere.

Nothing sanitary about this place, especially during pandemic. Woman putting toppings on burgers leaning towards on the counter and resting her palms on the paper used to wrap the burgers. No one wearing masks or gloves.
The staff is very friendly but that was about the only good thing about this place. Counter staff putting toppings on burgers bare handed. watched one lady scrape someones hamburger toppings off with her fingers and add different toppings. No one washed their hands while we were in the store. The burgers were not good at all. The meat tasted bland and looked very low grade and had hard chunks in it that should not be in meat. i Will never go back and never recommend anyone to go to this location.
The new location is tastefully decorated, the staff are the same friendly staff from the previous location and the food is amazing! Its our Friday night dinner first choice!

The best greasy food ever.
Every Friday my co-workers and I have a fun Friday lunch. We work in a restaurant and like to try other places. We ve been doing this for about 3 months and today we tried barrie burger per the request from one of our chefs. It was amazing. My GM and I decided that it was the best one yet, we both had the chicken souvlaki with greek salad and she had O rings and I had rice, the boys in the back had burgers or course and loved them. Great experience. Only thing, while I was waiting for the food to be cooked it would have been nice to have some music playing...but that s just a suggestion Thanks for the great lunch.
Stopped in for a quick bite as we were hoping to find a place we could dine in that was a local business. Very impressed! Fries were crunchy on outside and soft in the middle, onion rings cooked perfectly as well and the burgers got thumbs up from all! Yes the buns are big.. but a smaller bun would have made earring the burgers with all their fixings very messy! Restaurant was clean, every other table was closed to seating... sanitizer available and washrooms also clean. A definite we will be back Great job!

I often come to Barrie and every time I eat a hamburger at Barrie burger, one of the best burgers in the city that we have eaten. We put together the topping ourselves. Highly recommended to do it once and not once, but three times in a week. You should really skip the mac, they also have delicious fries and other snacks

Greek salad barely with dressing Banquet burger was dry and the bun was soggy with oil. Asked for crispy fries - not crispy. Tomatoes were on the verge of going bad Lettuce brown and wilted Onion tastes like its been cut for a few days. JUST NO. Will never return and will continue to go to the one of Yonge. The only reason we came here was that Yonge was closed. YUCK!

The decor is kind of outdated and a bit grimy, but aesthetics aside - the cheeseburgers are top notch - obviously hand made with love. Also noteworthy, Im not even really a fan of gravy at ALL - but I like their gravy.

This place serves seriously tasty cheeseburgers. Freshly made patties and individually garnished to your liking. There are other things on the menu, but the cheeseburgers have kept me from tasting anything else - except for the fries and gravy, which are also exceptional, and Im not even a huge fan of gravy. The restaurant interior may not be an aesthetic feast for the eyes, but the food is good enough to make the general environment of no conciquence. Truly one of Barries hidden gems.

Great burgers, but awful fries, you know the frozen ones, yuk...
I would not recommend going here, it is very disappointing. It looks like a great place to get a old-fashioned diner home cooked meal. Unfortunately they used both frozen burgers and frozen fries and charge what would be reasonable for home cooked food, the peameal on the banquet Burger was as thin as lunch meat ham and they would not allow refills on the fountain beverages. Perhaps it was recently taken over by someone trying to make as much money as possible and not worrying about serving good quality food.
