Divine Dine in Barrie

I ordered 12 samosa ($2 each) but samosas were tasteless, no salt nothing, so i called them and made a complaint n they said will talk to manager and get back to me but no one replied back.

The food is really delicious and their quantity is worth price. And their hospitality is awesome. Worth visiting the place

Cozy vibe of the restaurant was perfect on a rainy day! We ordered the classic kadai paneer and dal makhni both were bursting in authentic indian flavour. We got Masala chai at the end which was cherry on top. Love took care of our table she was very sweet and attentive.

We recently enjoyed Divine Dine s food at the Diwali Party organized by SAASC. Everything from appetizers to main course was so yummy. My kids enjoyed the Khoya kulfi.

We celebrated our first anniversary in Divine Dine. Staff made our day with their special gesture. Food was one of the best in town. We ordered paneer tikka, cheese paneer paradise as appetizers and Dal makhni, paneer butter masala and jalfrezi. Everything was bursting with flavours. Thank you Divine Dine Team.

I have only good things to say about this restaurant. The food is delicious and its authentic Indian cuisine, which is great for people who have a knowledge of how chana is traditionally prepared. In addition to the excellent foods, the service is also first rate. You get the impression that the people running this restaurant genuinely care about their customers. The atmosphere is visually relaxing and elegant and the only reason I gave 4 stars is that Im not a fan of pop rap, it didnt fit the otherwise graceful mood. Personally I think classical Indian music would round out the experience. The restaurant is a valuable addition to the citys culinary environment. Best dinner I ever had in canada We had spicy manchurian plus tawa majic paneer with garlic naan and shikanjawi Everything was deliiiiciouss. The location of the restaurant is good , the menu options offered are a huge variety however the food quality is not up to standards of an Indian restaurant. The food offered like Dahi kebab, naan etc are from the frozen packaging , so I don t understand why would someone come to the restaurant and pay for it when a box of the frozen package is cheaper ? Everything felt stale. The naan was overcooked and very hard to chew.

Came in wondering why it was so empty and still confused! Not only is it a very calm and welcoming environment, but the service and food was phenomenal. Had two different waiters show a lot of care for us, our enjoyment and our comfort. Oh and the food...the FOOD. We got several different dishes since the prices were so low and everything we had was not only proportionately perfect for the prices, but everything tasted phenomenal. Been to many Indian restaurants. This is definitely in the top 5, a spot you would take your guests to if you liked them. Great service by Lavanya, although they should keep more than one server knowing that it is the long weekend. Tasty food too.

The steak I ordered was overcooked and tough, making it almost impossible to eat. The sides were bland and underseasoned. For the price they charge, I expected a lot better. I wont be returning, and I definitely wouldnt recommend this place if youre looking for good quality food.

Worst food we ever had!! We ordered Sarso ka Saag, Malai kofta and Chana Masala, everything was tasteless and had no spices in it. Cheese corn balls were good.. We were the only one there for dine in but the service was literally poor. Took almost 45 mins to make the food.

My main course tasted bland, as if no effort was put into seasoning or preparation. For the price, I expected far better. The ambiance also didn t help the place was noisy and cramped, making it hard to enjoy a meal. Overall, I left feeling unsatisfied and disappointed. For a restaurant that claims to offer a top-tier dining experience, Divine Dine fell short in nearly every aspect.

Ordered momos - no taste , no flavour, no spices, no salt and even burnt. Also, they were too small with very less filling inside (seems like only having boiled maida). The sauce was sour and spiceless. Will never recommend their momos. Waste of money.

I just ordered Chana bhatura and dahi bhala through skip the dishes. Taste was okay. Chana bhatura usually comes with aloo sabji on the side but they did not even gave salad and pickle. Bhala was too hard. I had a high expectations. Hopefully there will be some improvements

I just visited Divine Dine a few minutes ago. I was there from around 6:50 pm to 7:40 pm, September 20. There was a girl named Love, she really served very well. I like her way of talking and helpful nature. She asked me 2-3 times in between about how its going. It was not only about me, she asked everyone about food, any assistance and helping everyone. The quality of food was good, the atmosphere was awesome and the service was pretty much awesome.

Visit here few days back I had almost $80 bill And in service I even had to ask for spoon and fork the guy waiter was too confused for no reason The utensils used were not cleaned properly nor were in great shape. I also have have pictures taken If it requested by owner I can supply it, hope it can help in betterment of restaurants Please do not serve in broken bowls

I ordered food for 13-14 people on Sunday. I made a time order the boy who took my order on the call said me that dont worry we will provide enough food for 13 people because every day we are taking orders like this. I said this is the first time i am ordering from you guys so please be careful about everything. He said don t worry about that. On the day when we went to pick our food we were shocked by seeing the amount they gave to us like we ordered it for 13 but the trays seems for 5 people only. The girl on counter was arguing with us. It s lack of customer service.Next day when we call in store and ask them to give managers or owners number. Firstly they denied it for almost 2 hours. Than i spoke to the manager may be that was the same person who took my order.But i was not satisfied with his talk aa he was saying they are doing hard-work nd its our small business try to understand. Than i said him to give me owners number or email address than he was neglecting to give , he said talk to me i will do something for you. But he was just arguing with me my friend . Totally upset with experience. Not gonna order again from this store. They pissed us off.

Divine Dine is a MUST GO especially if youre vegetarian. Not often do I see a menu that I can eat everything on AND have a hard time choosing what I want (added bonus for mocktails as I dont drink alcohol). We had dinner here with the family , we are used to the Brampton style Indian restaurants but this one is the best in Barrie hands down!! They have more than just Indian options but we only had the Indian dishes tonight with the fam. They have amazing options and the food is great portions and great quality for a decent price! We went to dine-in at Divine Dine yesterday. We can say this is the Must Go place! Not only the food was very delicious but the girl who provided us the customer service was also exceptionally good. ordered samosa & dal makhani by Uber eats. Samosa very thick & kind of rubber(thick coating of maida) also burnt. Dal makhani as if cooked for a patient. No salt (asked for medium spice level but zero spices). Asked for side onions & extra chutney but none of them appeared. When called them so the staff started saying arguing that they are helpless. Neither ready to refund or give credit. We ordered from uber eats but there coming that order ineligible for refund.

We were traveling back from Muskoka to toronto when we found this restaurant during late lunch hours. They have an amazing selection of food and everything we ordered was delicious. I specially like their Lemon soda mocktail which I would say is enough for 4 people. I think both my husband and me had 3 glasses each from single order. Paneer burji was perfect and also when I mention i wanted light roti they had an option for that as well. The staff was amazing too. I forgot the name of person but he was the one behind the counter and then our server for that day as well. He offered us all different food options as per our needs. Very helpful, cheerful and calming staff. I would definitely try this place again.

The sauce for the Manchurian Medley vegetarian balls was pretty yummy, good levels of spice but also a tad too sweet. All in all, for 14 bucks i expected a bit more and was also quite oily. I m pretty disappointed and was a regret for me, hopefully I just made the wrong order this time around.

The worst experience with Indian restaurant. These people don t know how to serve a customer. The girl at front desk using laptop. She didn t ask for even single time that we need something or not!! I was saying everytime excuse me. She gave us bowls to pack and didn t gave us napkins to clean hands. I don t know why they hire these type of people who don t know about customer service. 0 star!!

It was wonderful dinner experience.. We had delicious food and the service was awesome. Lavnya one of the staff member treated and served us in very friendly and welcoming behavior. Loved the place and people.. Worthy to visit.

It was great place to eat Indian cuisine in Barrie. We loved the food and service by Lavanya. Food was really tasty. We have ordered garlic naan, dal makhni, Manchurian, spring roll, kebab, tawa paneer, brownie sizzler, biscoff cheese cake and divine sundae. Everything was super delicious. Recommend this place to everyone.

The food was amazing I ate so many servings and the waiters were so nice.

We ordered a sabji for take out and upon reaching home we found that it was literally watery. After seeing the video how do you expect someone to eat that sabji with roti or even rice. After confronting them they were very bad at the service and the managers behaviour is also rude towards the customers. They wasted more than 90 minutes to solve our issue without even a positive outcome at the end. I would recommend that you spend some money on gas and go out of town to eat other than eating here.

Very nice establishment food quality is good very like it I will come again

I was here for a family dinner and I have invited guests too. I have received worst service and been waiting for 1 hour and 50 minutes for my food and haven t even received any item which I have ordered. Even ordered pinacolada and was worst in taste. Totally disappointed with their service and management.

Food is OK but service is terrible. I ordered one malai kofta and 3 naam at 7:20 pm on a Wednesday. At 9 pm my Uber eats delivery guy tells me that hes been waiting there at it would still take 20 minutes. I called the restaurant and they asked me to cancel or wait. This is unacceptable. Will look for another place.

We ordered gravy manchurian and vegetable fried rice from them. And we really disappointed to see the gravy Manchurian as the gravy was all watery instead of proper good Manchurian gravy which is thick and also the fried rice tasted like indian vegetable pulao not like Chinese flavor.
