Had Dinner Tonight with Friends. Taste was excellent and Service was great. Ordered Manchurian Dry, Punjabi Sabji, Naan, Dal Fry, Biryani and etc everything was excellent in Taste . Highly recommended Pure Veg Indian restaurant in Barrie.

I ordered pav bhaji it was the best thing I have had here in Barrie.

Noodles, cheese vada pav, manchurian, dahi sev and aloo puff all of these items were so delicious. It was a quality meal.

We ordered Chole Bhature and Pav Bhaji, but unfortunately, the experience didn t meet our expectations. The achaar tasted below average, the chole lacked authentic flavor, and the Pav Bhaji felt off in taste. Additionally, the pav used seemed cheap and not fresh, which impacted the overall experience. I hope the quality improves in the future, though I currently don t see myself returning or recommending the place.

I wont suggest this place anymore. I also went to another branch, and it is better than this one. The food quality is poor, and there is currently no cleaning. They provided dishes that were not at all clean. This was my go-to spot; their service and cuisine were excellent before a year, but not anymore. Im writing after a recent three-day visit.

Went there for dinner. The girl who was serving is nice but she was the only one taking orders, serving and running the floor. Really under staffed. Dont even provide table water. Food was ok but not up to the standard as they have in their brampton branch. I asked for leftover takeout box and the box was given without closing lid. There were no tissues on the table. I had to take it from another table.The owner should consider having more staff.

Ordered food using skip. Chole was missing from my order of chole bhature. Called restaurant and asked they said they forgot to give it to the driver. I said ok deliver them now, the guy said they don t have car to deliver. I have to reorder something from skip and then they will add chole for free. I said that doesn t make any sense, why would I order something again and pay when it was mistake at your end. I asked to talk to the manager, the guy said he is the manager. And only solution is either come pick it up, order again and we will give chole for free (with something you order and pay for) or next time I come in, they will give it for free.

I had an extremely disappointing experience at this restaurant. They didn t send all the dishes we ordered, and when we called to resolve it, the manager was incredibly rude and unhelpful. The service was unprofessional, and we were left hungry and frustrated. I definitely won t be ordering from here again and wouldn t recommend it to anyone.

I recently ordered chole kulche and other dishes from this restaurant and my experience was disappointing. To begin with, I only received the kulche and not the chole that was supposed to accompany it. This oversight significantly affected the meal s quality and left me with an incomplete dish. The overall quality of the food was disappointing and did not justify the cost. To make matters worse, when I tried to address these issues with customer service, the response was unhelpful and dismissive. Their lack of concern for resolving the problem only added to my frustration. I hope this feedback serves as a constructive critique to improve both the food and customer service. Until these issues are addressed, I would hesitate to recommend this restaurant to others.

We were pleasantly surprised to discover the best Indian restaurant in Barrie. The owner was incredibly kind , and the rawa onion dosa and aloo puff we had were so delicious they took us back to India. I loved it and will definitely visit again.

We went for dinner on saunday evening at Honest Barrie location and ordered Cheese butter masal and Butter naan. The subji was not at all fresh and it was only microwave. It was not hot and tatse was really weird . I did not like the sabji at all as per the Honset standard .

Very bad food experience .The food (Punjabi sabji) was not at all fresh and just re-heated before serving.If you are charging money as per Canadian standards than please deliver your product as per Canadian standards as well.Cutlery was also very dirty and not washed well. Had a chance to eat here today with my Mom who was visiting from out of town and really enjoyed the Mysore Masala Dosa. Its really great to see more quality South Indian food in Barrie now. Go check it out when you get a chance.

Ordered takeout masala dosa, chole puri and samosa for my kid. The dosa was stale. Like straight up day old re-heated. Normally when you get take out dosa it goes soft and doesn t stay crispy but this was hard the way it goes if it s re-heated the following days. The crazy thing if it had been fresh it tasted like a good batter- but who serves stale dosa?! The chole puri was ok. Some nice chutneys. The samosa was terrible. Thick stale over fried batter and a weird grey coloured filling I took a picture below. And this was for a kid. It was so bad my 4 yr old didn t eat it. So disappointing given this place got decent reviews. But no wonder they were empty on a Friday night.

Worst food ever had, checked the reviews and decided to try , food did not match the reviews at all, don t order roti thats made of whole wheat , dal makhani was like it s been there from a week and reheated no flavours or spices in the food at all. Wasted money and did not eat anything . The staff/chef never offered to replace or make changes and replied this is how we make it . Terrible service.

Yesterday we went there for Dine In, we ordered Bahubali Sandwich, Punjabi Curry and Garlic Naan and Manchurian as a starter. All dishes were flavourable, delicious taste. Kaju Curry was amazing and Naan was freshly made in Tandoor. I would highly recommend to visit to have Indian Authentic Taste in Barrie. I have seen that they have lot of options available in South Indian Dosa, I will definitely visit next time to try fusion dosa. On top of that, Manchurian dry was excellent in taste, we felt proper street style taste. Service was amazing as well, this is worthy place to enjoy indian taste, this is 100% vegetarian restaurant so dont need to worry about contamination.

Sanitation is zero I saw people eating inside the kitchen when they open the door,even they dont sanitize the tables after every service. We were sitting and stil the tables had food on them.

We stopped by here about a month ago for a quick dinner. The place is huge with a lot of seating. I believe all foods are vegetarian. The cool thing is about the history of this restaurant which started with a small booth in southern India almost 50 years . We ordered the Punjabi Thali, it was good and a generous portion.

The food of this restaurant is so bad, I have ordered cheese butter masala , and the taste is so bad of that and even the pav bhaji I have ordered is so bad so much of oil in it and just taste like red chilli Powder , even in past order I called them they told me that the food is well prepared our cook is good!!!!

Honest Vegetarian is incredible. My daughter and I went once, and then we went BACK again less than two weeks later. The food is delicious and the service is fast. The atmosphere is more that of a cafe and the music can be a tad loud, but its clean and bright and open. Not a cozy spot for a romantic dinner, but definitely a spot for GOOD food. We LOVE the Dahi Puri, as well as the Veg Biryani. The mango lassis are pre-made and right in the fridge for you to grab your own. Its nice to be able to have one straight away, while you wait. Check out Honest for yourself. Its a 100% vegetarian restaurant, which is nice to have, but you dont have to be a vegetarian to enjoy this food! The food is not made to the standard of franchise. I have been in other branches and can say that quality of food was too poor. Please get some trained chief and dont involve family for cooking in restaurants. Lol I know thats 100% true. But it a shame to franchise name.

Recently dined at Honest Restaurant for some Indian cuisine, and unfortunately, my experience left much to be desired. The food was underwhelming, lacking the flavor and authenticity I expected. Additionally, I was disappointed to find that the cutlery provided was not clean, with plates and spoons showing signs of neglect. The service was also lacking, with slow and inattentive staff. Moreover, it was disheartening to be charged for basic water, a practice that feels unnecessary and unwelcoming. Overall, Honest Restaurant fell short of expectations in both food quality and customer service.

We ordered Pav Bhaji, Manchow soup, Vadapav, and Chai. Everything was fresh with the right spice levels and full of flavor. The restaurant is spacious, clean, but we had to pay upfront for the order. Minus two points for the service; there was inconsistency as some customers had orders taken at their tables, while we were asked to place the order at the billing counter. Unsure about this discrimination, urging the hotel owners to address this matter! Other than that, everything was good.

I visited this restaurant very first time, they have limited items in menu but whatever they have added they make sure to make it best , I tried their paneer tikka masala , paneer bhurji , tandoori roti , I felt like Im having food in somewhere in india , Deep Patel was very good in hospitality. I tried thier masala Chai that was best

Very bad food, the panner curry was sour and panner was burnt. The taste was pathetic and not tasty at all. Won t recommend to anyone.

The service is disgusting i ordered chinese bhel while uber and this is what i got.

Poor quality.
