This is my new favorite restaurant! The service was friendly and fast, the food was delicious, and the prices were reasonable. I was just there last night, and I was to go back already!

Dinner takeaways are always a comfortable deal in Taj Bistro so far. Fresh food, less extra oil in the sabjis and good in taste. They have never given a chance to complain on foods and really happy about it. Solid service and well priced - Recommended. Food

Enjoyed the desi food to great extend which were full of flavour and no dislikes from my end. The Pav Bhaji and Chaat were nicely prepared, great taste in both the dishes. Will surely look for another opportunity to come here again and try something new in this place. They have certainly impressed with everything they served. Honestly, referred and recommended....

Nice food but still need to work on customer service and takes a lot of time for just one order and another waiting time to get the other order

Impressive food, food menus are fully traditional and Im sure they have expert chef in their restaurant. The taste added in Lamb Korma and in Butter Chicken with authentic masalas can be only done by expert. Enjoyed the food a lot and everyone in our family praised of the dishes. Butter Naan was good but felt little small in size and we expected little bigger. But thats fine as every restaurant has their own standards. Ill say recommended for the food they served. Taste was too good !

My takeaways of Chole Bhatures, Chaats and other snacks have never disappointed me in taste and flavour. Taj Bistro have excellent chefs and master in cooking authentic punjabi dishes. Their portions and fillings are their plus point and gives immense satisfaction on purchases. Locally they serve the best food likely someone can say home made food. I always prefer them for dinner takeaways and wont mind to recommend them to others.

Excellent service in every visit, very very professional working staffs and have not made me made after placing the order. I never found unnecessary delay even during in peak hours. This evening it was crowded and I ordered my dinner. The chicken jalfrezi was looking awesome and was very tasty, the parathas were also delicious. Another happy and delighted dinner in Taj Bistro. Recommended for quality food, excellent service, active staffs and fair rate on food menus.

I really enjoyed the food !! While the chicken was slightly dry, the tikka masala was flavorful and delicious, pairing perfectly with the garlic naan. The atmosphere felt a bit random but coordinated and the service was okayish, likely due to how busy it was. Recommended for tasty food served today. Next time, I ll opt for takeout than dining.

Poor customer service. Rude behaviour from the staffs. No hair net, gloves and coughing with no mask while making food in front of customers. Not a hygiene place for food buyers.

I wish there was an option to give this restaurant a negative 5-star review. This used to be my favorite restaurant in town, but I was very disappointed with the service from the staff today. Very rude behavior. The Indian Punjabi girl on the front desk was rude and racist to us. Made us wait more than 1 hr for a chicken Shake, naan and a chaat. High recommend not to go

Beautifully set and decorated restaurant though not very big in space. The menu list has all types of Asian foods like different types of naan, rotis, rice and desserts. For me it was a satisfactory visit as the food had that homely touch of taste and spice. I wouls suggest them to add more south-indian dishes in their food list. After todays experience, I would suggest them and recommend too.

Choices of different Curries, Rice & Naan are well set, many options to order according to the mood and food preference. Cooking is absolute authentic, likely the food you get in Delhi and in Punjab. Ive enjoyed the veg and non-veg both types of curries here and so far its very satisfactory. Will recommend them not only for delicious food but also for their care taking service and justified pricing. They deserve this recommendation.

The quality of food is classic with genuine portions and size they have extensive menu full of authentic taste. Dont miss their snacks - Samosa, Chaats and different naans. Pure desi food coated with spice, herbs, butter and ghee. I have visited here uncounted times and I can say they are one of the best, dont compromise in food quality and taste at all. Mostly whenever I order the food online using UberEats, it has always taken 25 to 35 minutes to get the delivery. Food is always sent tight packed, warm and fresh. I am very found of their curries and different snacks, they are really good in these food items. Excellent service. They are one of the few restaurant who delivers quality stuffs in a resonable price with hassle free delivery.......

The taste of the food is upscale, authentic dishes touched by fusion touch. Our table was booked over the phone as our family is a regular visitors during the years now. Everything was well set on our arrival. As usual the food was the main point of attraction, butter chicken was soft with thick gravy/sauce, jeera rice, naan, alu gobi were served in well portions. Once again they have proved themselves and full recommendation from our family. Kudos !!

Whenever I order the food online, it takes 1½hr to get delivered. Worst service. It keeps showing preparing food for 45 minutes and then takes too long to get delivered.

Unplanned visit to this place and got surprised with the quality and flavour of food. Staff was so respectful and well presented also impressed with amazing service. Visited m cousins house in Downtown which is few blocks from this restaurant and he planned for a lunch, we both visited the place and had tight lunch. Such coolest and hassle free fooding journey should be shared, they are good in their work.

Good service. Punjabi sabji and naan both are delicious. As well as manchurian and mango mastani is so delicious. Ajay bhai employee is a very nice person.

The food at this restaurant is excellent, full of flavour and aromas. I have eaten there many times and the service is pleasant (if not a tad slow) and the ambience is comfortable. However, I leave with the same complaint each time - the portions are very small, regardless of what you order....you should never leave a restaurant feeling hungry or unsatiated otherwise whats the point?? That drops my rating to 4-stars but I think its an important issue for a restaurant to be aware of. I see they are expanding and perhaps offering a buffet in the near future so hopefully the portion issue will be resolved! We shall see...

What a wonderful experience! My husband and I stopped to pick up food on our way to Blue Mountain after we had heard about this place from some of my coworkers. We were greeted with the friendliest staff who helped me decide what to order. The owner came out and greeted me and gave me a tour of their newly renovated space. The place is gorgeous, and looks lovely for events. I ordered the Lahsooni Palak with Paneer and the Paneer Tikka Massala. These were both wonderful but holy, the Lahsooni Palak with paneer was absolutely amazing (we actually stopped on the way home from blue mountain to get it again, but sadly they were closed!); I am still thinking about this dish. The warmth of the owner and staff, the great ambiance, and of course, the delicious food made this a 5 star experience. Cant wait to eat here again, and I wish them all the success in their business.

Mouth-watering dishes and awesome taste in Chole Bhature and in Chats. The Chat was presented very colourful and it was added with sweet & spicy chutneys. Experimenting Taj Bistro gave us immense food satisfaction and food was simply great. The size of the Bhaturas were big and Chole was cooked with aroma of actual spices. The place completely worth money that we spend this afternoon. Such wonderful experience should be shared to all. Will visit soon again.

This was our first time. The venue itself is basic, little decor or ambiance. But Im not there for decor, Im there for delicious food... And they did not disappoint!! The medium spice level is true medium. The flavour profiles are excellent. Food was brought out hot as it was ready. Staff was friendly and not invasive. Price was typical for Indian restaurants. The only ask I have- bigger take out containers for the leftovers. Absolutely will be back again!

Overall I can say, this place is a bit more affordable than other restaurants. I ordered a takeaway of Butter Chicken, Palak Paneer and Plain Naan and it didn t disappoint. The Butter Chicken was creamy with a rich, thick gravy. Considering the price, I d say it was a great deal. Fortunately, the wait time for my order was short, which was a bonus. I m happy to share my positive experience with both the food and service. Yes, recommended !!

Satisfactory dining experience with Taj Bistro and they are best in their diversified foods. Long story to cut short, options are many and working people are co-operative to suggest the best in their place. Palak Paneer, Dal Makhni, Tandoori Roti and Butter Chicken was cooked such well that the taste of it will revind someones mind even after a week. Great satisfaction !! The place is managed well, its clean and all hygiene matters are taken seriously by the staffs out here. Overall, I can say that they are good in their food, service, price and other assistance.

Venue is outstanding and its combined by delicious food. Spent Diwali evening here with family and it was full of fun and enjoyment. The atompshere was great for such festive season and well supported by their working staffs. Excellent cooking of Pulao, Naan, Paneer, Chicken Curry and other starters. Well adjusted Veg and Non-Veg section of mains and starters. Genuinely they are the best and will be coming here again.

The food, service, and staff at this place are outstanding, with a remarkable commitment to assisting guests even during rush hours. The Lamb Biryani, Butter Chicken and Butter Naan were perfectly cooked, generous in portion and featured tender, melt-in-your-mouth pieces of chicken and lamb. The presentation was impeccable, making the dining experience even more enjoyable. Both the food and service are true highlights here. Highly recommended !!

The food ordered was cooked with aromatic spices and displayed vibrant colours in the curries. Alu Gobi and Paneer was cooked in excellent way, no way to complain on anything. The Naan and Pulao were equally good and presented beautifully adding nice layer of butter in the Naans. I will surely come back in Taj Bistro again as they have really set high expectation for another dining.

I wish i could give 0 star. Customer service is very poor. We waited 1 hour for extra naan. I asked the staff three times and she kept saying it s very busy please be patience with us and after some time she forgot that we even ordered anything, Shamelessly she came to us and asked if we are finished !!! This restaurant used to be very good but now its -10/10. I saw people just leaving without even ordering anything because nobody is there to help with order!

The fooding journey so far with Taj Bistro has been smooth, Im a regular takeaways visitor for my dinner. Their rice, dal makhani, palak paneer are the standout dishes. They have never compromised in taste and food is cooked with no extra oil in it. Thats what has always attracted me, mainly like home made food. One other plus point of them is that they have always taken last minutes order even before closing and have not denied. Most preferred place for me, trusted and recommended.

Everything is good about this placed - service, food, ambience and location. Its been a while that Ive visited Taj Bistro now and everytime that have fulfilled the dining requirement completely. The place is well managed and kept every necessity on place for the guests. Be it the table manners, cleanness and other hygiene matters. A total Indian food hub with all qualities, no hassles and authentic fooding joint.

The service and atmosphere were great and lovely, they are the proper destination for dinner in any weekend. The food was not extremely spicy and well balanced with the quantity, presentation was attractive too. We ordered the paneer with medium spice and the Veg Biryani with mild spice, yet both dishes were not as hot as it was displaying. Flavourful food and great texture. Pricing is also fair on the quantity they serve, I will not say as expensive but yes measured & balanced. Will surely give another visit in Taj Bistro, they do deserve it.

Superb cooking of food and prepared in lovely traditional style with lots of spices, taste of masalas and touch of butter in the curries and naan. They have the quality of food items served on table garnishing with herbs toppings. Very well assisted by the servers throughout the dining, they also took verbal feedback about the food. I am never a negative reviewer person but this was something. Poor service and waiting time is very long. If you want to eat dinner, order it at lunch time then it might get ready when you there. 1 Chinese bhel order took them 1:15 mins to get prepared. They don t even act that they sorry after this long wait.

Taj Bistro is altogather is a place for classy food with authenticity, spicness and place of many varieties. The Chole Bhature and different types of Naan are top in my chart, even the paranthas are also very satisfying. Adequate amount of Ghee and Butter in the rotis feels like heaven with rich curries and attentive service. I have been coming here for more than 3 years now and have seen a lot of improvement in every visits in their food and service. Their plus point is they have kept the price reasonable and always provide great service, very disciplined servers and working staffs. They are good in everything so I dont mind to recommend them at all.

Why is 5 star the last option given.. Why not 100 stars.. Cant explain in words the experience was more than i can explain , they are certainly the best in the local streets. While giving the orders they have never declined any request of customization. The place is comfortable in everyway and actual destination fvor family dining, such nice decoration and well sered serices, always match the fleming food. So far well impressded with services, food and dining experience.... Perfectly great experience with the food joint.. Would love to visit more often and would never decline giving recommendations..!!

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE !! Today around 9:10, we came to your restaurant ordered 2 sabjis, naan, mango lassi and chicken biryani. The mango lassi felt like we were drinking just water. So we asked a girl who was working there and we genuinely asked her very politely that this lassi doesn t feel like lassi and the she was so rude to us. She made faces while answering and did not answer us nicely. After few minutes she came asking if we want any substitute for that but that too in an arrogant manner. We asked for salt and pepper and she was just talking to the cook but did not give us salt and pepper and we had to wait for that. It is understandable if the restaurant was busy but when we were having our dinner. There was no one else in the restaurant and there was enough staff to serve us. But we were not served nicely by them. The girl was behaving as if we were just eating it for free and she was gonna pay for that. I mean seriously? She needs to work on her customer service skills. We do visit Taj Bistro often but today was the worst customer service that we got from the girl. That was disgusting and soooooo rude.

Festival of flavours- truly it was a festival of flavours in my mouth. The order of Honey Mustard Tikka which was suggested by my server was Marvellous - The chicken was succlent tender as usual but that combination of Sweetness of the honey with that kick of mustard was something extraordinarily beautiful & flavourful - a flavour which is now stuck in my heart. Apart from that I had Bhindi Masala with plain naan, both were delicious but I just cannot get enough of the Honey Mustard Tikka. Thank you for the suggestion. You guys truly out do yourself each & everytime.

I recently placed an order on Uber, but unfortunately, the Dasher picked it up and canceled it. However, thanks to the exceptional service from Taj Bistro, specifically a gentleman named Ajay, my experience was turned around. Ajay went above and beyond to ensure I faced no further inconvenience after waiting for my food for quite some time. Taj Bistro in Barrie is a must-visit for anyone looking for a memorable Indian dining experience. Ordered for some delectable lamb biryani with butter chicken and garlic naan, and in order to flush down all the rich taste gotva glass of shikanji too.. In short, Whether for a special occasion or a casual outing, it offers an exceptional blend of flavors, quick service, and a pleasant atmosphere. I highly recommend it and look forward to returning!

First time and last time ordering here. Ordered takeout, and and received the tiniest portions especially when you compare what you received to the photos online. Our Chicken Tikka Masala was well over $30 when you add the actual chicken to it, not the $16.99 price you see online. And $6 for a single garlic naan. Again the photo online showed multiple, its super misleading. Only good thing, the Onion Bhaji tasted good. Thank goodness we ordered 2x, because again the amount in the picture and what you actually get are widely different. Talk about shrinkflation, never have I paid so much for so little food.

Worst place ever !! The water taste so bad, and smells bad. The food was cold, the appetizers were served after main course. Poor customer service, no box of tissues on the table, had to repeat so many times what we needed. NOT AT ALL RECOMMENDED !!!!

Some of the best take away order that I have ever eaten or ever placed. I was a little skeptical at first whether they would deliver food quick as i was missing up a few items for my home party , but THEY DID. My order of Mutton Seekh Kebab & Murgh Dum Biryani was delivered on time without delays. The food was just YUMMY, packed nicely & hygenically. They sure do justice to the food, I would be recommending this Bistro if you are looking for some late night truly delicious Indian foods.

Outstanding ambience, great service and lovely homly made food. The vegetarian dishes are best here, tasted best of Alu Gobi, Panner Tikka Masala and Tandoori Naan. Very suitable pricing and doesnt hurt the pocket for dinner of 2 people. Will visit here again.

Amazing food and service

Today october 7,2024 2:30pm i went with my friend to have lunch, i cant say food wasnt good as food was amazing, but when it came to service and communication i hope i could rate with 0 stars as thing happened 2 Indian couple was about to be sitted on 4 people table staff refused that its the table for 4 and you are only 2 but in 30-40 min some Canadian couple came and took place on same table and the staff was more friendly to them and didnt asked them to get up as they did it with last 2 persons. And when it came to server she was talking very happily with Canadian couple but me and my friend were not happy as we were treated as stray dogs and behaviour was also not pleasing as it was to other couple. This was first time i came to this restaurant and i saw this kind of racism here. Owner need to take quick action on that as we live in judgement free and nice country and if we are paying for service we should we served good no matter whos that person.

The pace of service was perfect; our drinks arrived promptly, and the food was served at just the right temperature. It was clear that the staff was well-trained and worked seamlessly as a team. Truly represent the culture of Indian food and versatile menus, they are one of the best in this location. Perfect adjustment of spice level when you have kids with you in dining and not hesitated at all when any taste moulding is done in any particular food item. Lovely place & lovely ambience - They are highlighted for family dinner & close ones get togather.

Today evening in my visit, I ordered Lamb Biryani & Achari Murg Tikka. Portions were really good and it was suffice for me and my partner both. Both the dishes were cooked in the perfect way as it should be, the fragnance of Biryani was fullt traditional and made it mild spicy as we prefer. Good job done by the Chef and I must admit that he or she has experienced hands in cooking. Recommending Taj Bistro.

It was an absolute party at this restaurant! We all loved the incredible taste, flavor, and authenticity of this exceptional Indian cuisine. We had pre-arranged a lunch for 8 to 10 of our work colleagues, and the setup was outstanding. From the starters to the main course, everything was spot on. Huge thanks to the owner for the excellent organization and the supportive staff. The mains included Pulao, Biryani, Veg Curry, Chicken Masala, Goat Curry, a variety of Naans, and more. Each dish was full of authentic flavor. We re thrilled to share our experience and confidently give them a 100% rating. Can t wait to visit again highly recommended !!!!

Absolutely worst service ever experienced, made us wait for food more than 45 to 50 minutes, and when we re served, got meat instead of vegetarian food.

We just drive from guelph to barrie for dinner around 10 Oclock and their staff said we dont have any table available and then i request the receptionist that we came so far away for dinner. Their staff ask us to wait for 45 min to take the orders. Food is secondary but Not an ideal for response at the front door.

I must say that this place is a comfortable dining venue. Good food, disciplined staffs and cozy ambience while dining. They have managed the place well and staffs keep an eye if we require something else while dining. Ive been here few times now and have received amazing customer service from the working staffs. What has always impressed in Taj Bistro is their cooking. Mainly I am talking about their Chicken Biryani, thats my favourite here. Rice quality is basmati, full of fragnance, amount of chicken peices is sufficient and overall mixed with flavourful spices and other herbs & masalas. So far never displeased with the quality of it. This place is my takeaway hub and I dont miss any opportunity of grabbing my favourite dish from here.

It was a pleasure dining in Taj Bistro, very organised, options are good for menu selection and comfortable dining. Visited here with family to celebrate my neice BDay this evening. Everything was top notch here and arranged everything very nicely. The food was of top quality and balanced the hot spiciness and mild spicy in the curries very well. Everyone attended the dinner with us praised the food and service very much. Next time surely coming again for any other family event. Keep going Taj Bistro !!

If someone wants to try traditional food, then this is the place !! Number of main courses in the menu is truly amazing, options are menu to select and combine with Naan or Rice. Same goes with the curries also, they have almost everything in the menu card which can related to authentic Indian food. Butter Chicken, Roganjosh are the 2 items tasted very authentic with thickness and cream and was perfect with Butter Roti. Surely will be coming again and will not mind to recommend Taj Bistro at all.

Served amazing food, service was top notch and great exibition of traditional food. Not only the mains but their starters were equally good, everything we ordered was full of flavour. Whenever I plan a dinner with friends, I always opt Taj Bistro as they have kept their standards always high with food quality and impeccable service. Will recommend them and visit again for sure.

Tastes like reheated frozen food. Chapatis are full of plain flour, no use of wheat flour. Food is tasty but food quality is real bad.

Always admired and enjoyed the traditional food served here, most importantly the portions served for each dishes we ordered can be shared with one extra person. The Naans were soft & fluffy, curries were rich in flavours and had attractive colour when brought on the table. Big thanks to their master Chef for making our evening little special by crafting quality food, Im sure he is experienced enough cooking such authentic dishes. The place is clean, properly decorated with lights and clean tables and other cutlery. It will be unfair if I dont give the appreciation. You people are recommended !

Happy to contact them for the Catering service this week, their staffs are good and very active and understood the Dos and Donts for the event well. The food arrived on time and throughout the event they were in touch with us. The 3 starters and all the mains were cooked such well that our guests appreciated the food very much. I would say that their perfect co-ordination and excellent service made our family event successful and they handled 45-50 people in professional way. Will not hesitate to contact them in future for any other event in the family and I will also recommend them with my current experience. Keep going Taj Bistro.

This Indian restaurant in Barrie perfectly radiates the blends traditional flavors with a modern twist. The chicken and lamb dishes, in particular, set a high standard for both taste and portion size. Our group of six ordered lamb curries, goat dishes, butter naan and the portions were so generous they could have easily fed another person. A perfect destination for weekend dinner. We thoroughly enjoyed the dining experience and will definitely be coming back!

Disappointed with the behaviour of the girl on cash desk with the co worker of the restaurant! She is super rude with the staff and disrespects them infront of guests. Girl you need to grow up, don t take anyone for granted and it s easy to blame others. The Girl was taking our order and got a phone call left us in between saying excuse me I got a call, on top of that claims his coworker if he cannot see the food and serve the food while he was already cleaning the table. Moreover, when served our order was incomplete and we asked to complete it and she left us in between after requesting the other guy he completed our order. Anyways, was finally done with dinner and now need to ask for containers ,bill and guess what she is just pretending to be busy, taking orders and packing take out orders but can t help out dine in tables which would barely take 5 min or even less, got that after 20 mins. Girl you need to work as a team and not try to show your teammates that they are inferior.I can t help myself seeing someone treated bad so had to talk to Manager.Eventually blames the guy for everything. Being a regular clientele at the restaurant & not being able to visit the place is always a heart breaking experience for me. This time around I had ordered for a take away. THEY DID NOT FAIL TO AMAZE ME YET AGAIN. The food were hygenically packed, sealed so that the food remained hot even after travelling to my home. My meal of Karahi Paneer paired with Onion & Cheese Kulcha were delicious - hot, cheesy & spicy - just like it should be. I am sorry I couldnt visit this time but I hope this recommendation helps you out. Thank you for the wonderfully delicious meal at the comfort of my home.

This place is one of the best spots for Indian street and other traditional food. Their menu offers a great variety, and the service is quick. I visited with a few friends after a trip to market, feeling hungry and looking for a quick bite. We ordered Palak Paneer, Butter Kulcha, and Gobi Manchurian. The food quality was excellent, suitable for all age groups. Despite being busy with multiple orders, the staff was efficient and hardworking. Overall, a great experience! I ll definitely be back to try more dishes next time. Highly recommended.

Impressed with the takeaway service, handled the order well for snacks and Indo-Chinese dishes. The quantity packed in the food container was more than suffice and total bill was reasonable. Certainly the restaurant has active working staffs and with dining customers they equally gave importance to the takeaways order. A hidden gem serving authentic Indian cuisine . The dishes are incredibly delicious and full of flavor, every visit here is a happy dining with my family. We tried the Paneer Mirch Masala, Lamb Biryani, Achari Murg Tikka and Ras Malai today and each one was outstanding. Not only the food the service was immpecable too. What Ive always like about Taj Bistro is the pricing they have set for the dishes, in exchange of food portions the pricing is very affordable and no one can complain about it. 100% score earned by them from my family & very happy to recommend them.

Ordered takeout. Food price too high in comparison to what quality is provided. Was recommended by a colleague. Really disappointed. Chicken Malai Tikka was pink in the middle and not cooked. Gross. Paneer lababdar had 2 cubes of paneer. And lots of cheese. Never seen cheese in Indian gravy dishes. Naan was really tough. Not sure if one off....or just regular quality, but I wont be recommending or ordering again.

The Butter Chicken, Tandoori Butter Naan and Lamb Madras were absolutely amazing perfectly cooked by the chef, with the chicken and lamb so tender they practically melted in your mouth. The location is also great, with convenient parking that s much easier to deal with compared to other places. In addition to the delicious food, the service was excellent. There was minimal wait time, and the servers made us feel very comfortable throughout our meal. Honestly, I d say it s a top-notch food destination with great quality and reasonable prices.

Pricing is well set for listed items, quantity of food served is immense and they provided us good service. Brilliant on food quality, service and measureable pricing. One of the renowned restaurant for celebrating family feast and other occassions with Indian dishes. For their true quality they are always top in my list. Immpecable service, tasty food and so is the atmosphere in the place. Their Biryani in particular has the sweet essence and good number of pieces in chicken in it, properly cooked and soft which melts in mouth. After dining here, there is a different level of satisfaction and thats one of the reason to come back here again and again. If you have not tried them then go for a shot, Taj Bistro is a champion serving the best.

Big list of impressive menu, all vital food items in it and so many items in the card increases the curosity. Random visit in the restaurant with gang of girls, while searching for Indian food we found this restaurant on google. Tried their starters and mains both and loved what we ordered. The Chicken Kebaabs were very soft and fab in taste. After the dinner I understood why they are so searchable in google, they have earned their reputation and they deserve it. It will be unjustice if we dont comment after such pleasureful dinner.

I called the store at 10 PM on Sunday night, and they welcomed us with happy faces to dine in at 10:03. The whole staff was very courteous, and the food was awesome. We tried a couple of dishes, which had fantastic presentation. The three different staff members who helped us were awesome and genuinely nice, not wearing fake smiles like at other places. They didnt rush us even though we were there after hours. During our one-hour stay, we were asked over ten times if we needed anything and if everything was going well. We enjoyed our night out, and the warm welcome made it worth the visit. Thank you, guys! Keep up the good work.

Wide range of options available in the restaurants menu. Tried their Noodles and Manchurian (Dry), sufficient amount of quantity served and immensely tasty. The restaurant has balanced their pricing quite reasonably for both dining & takeaways. I mostly have tried the Indian dishes here before but today I opted to go for Indo-Chinese dishes. Experience so far with Taj Bistro is very satisfactory and wont mind to recommend them. Recommended Dishes - Pav Bhaji, Chole Bhature and Manchurian.

Worst management Ordered food and it took them 15 min to come back to us and told can you please repeat order there was glitch in system Then it took them 45 min to get our order and they are repeating our order twice with same curry. It s the worst experience ever, the staff is supper slow and really don t know what they are doing the owner is just trying to get a good review however he is completely rude to everyone as well as completely disrespectful and interruptive coming back again and again. Some of their dishes are so exceptional that its hard to find anything comparable elsewhere. This place has been my go-to for a long time, and I highly recommend it to others.

We ordered dal makhani paneer tikka chilli chicken naan roti for takeout and ordered papri chat to eat at the restaurant the food except for rhr paneer tikka everything else was so bad we had to throw away everything . When asked the server for extra dahi n chatni he was upset n when we told him there is no aaloo or Chana and the chat is very dry he was so rude n replied we make it this way . The rest of food we took to eat later as we were travelling tastes so bad the dal was half cooked . The chilli chicken was like karahi chicken with so much gravy . Naan were half cooked . We wasted $80 n threw away and had to order our again feom somewhere else . Will never go again .

Ive been a regular for a year now, but recently, the Paneer Subji hasnt been tasting as good. Could it be a new chef? On the bright side, the Mango Mastani was delightful, and the staff was very polite. While the service remains excellent, the inconsistency in taste is disappointing.

Taj Bistros reopening for dine-in offers a cozy experience with limited seating. While portion sizes have simplified, prices seem slightly steep. Panner Lababdar was satisfactory, but previous favorites like Panner Tikka Masala excel. Skip the spring rolls, opt for their delectable samosas. Mango Mastani and Ras Malai delight, alongside excellent customer service. A recommended visit indeed. And onion and cheese kulcha is the best bread to try.

This place is severely understaffed. Literally one person servicing all the tables, attending to pick up deliveries and attending phone calls. I really felt for her, she was being overworked. Kudos to her for still able to manage it and trying to attend to tables as soon as she could. I hope the owner considers hiring more staff on the floor. Food is delicious though.

Disappointing. Ordered the vegetable jalfrezi which was indicated to include paneer but it did not. Instead it was a mix of frozen veg combined with sauce and not even fully cooked. Also ordered the cheese butter veg masala. It was the same bland thing but with cheese on top. I called to share the issue and was told that the jalfrezi doesnt come with paneer despite the menu description and that the two dishes are the same. No offer to correct the issue. Wow. You need to make sure your menu descriptions are reflective of the actual item that a patron will recieve. Stay away and try somewhere like Tara Indian Cuisine.

I would really recommend you to hire more people to cook and service. We ve received the order after every 10 min and due to that we lost our hunger in between only. This is not about food, but the seating and service. We couldnt get to eat there because there was only 3 tables and was full. Then they advised to do take out. While we were checking the menu, they came back saying it might take 1.5 to 2 hours for the take out food to be made- which was ridiculous. I could buy grocery, cut the chicken and make food by that time at home. So I would suggest to improve the space and to be more careful with customers. 2 hours seemed ridiculous for a take out order. There was some more space, which they could rearrange and get us accommodated. Very disappointed, we really wanted to try the food as we live nearby.

For about a year now, it s become a Wednesday tradition for us Wasn t initially planned for tradition but turns out their food is always so good, hot, fresh and delicious we traditionalized it. We don t have a bad thing to say about this place, we love it. Proportions are decent also, no issues. Food tastes very authentic! The young girl who always works on Wednesday night is so lovely, always pleasant and friendly, we enjoy seeing her. We order: Take out- we order large size in all items. Plain Naan bread Chicken tiika masala Okra dish Daal soup (yummy) Plain rice If you re not used to spicy start with mild, as medium can be quit hot. We have also tried- samosas, Herb rice, Lamb Madras masala, they are also all very good. So far so good no issues, hoping they always keep their proportions the same and food tasting so delicious. One slight downside is sometimes they don t always have the daal soup which we love, but not a big concern when they don t- we just miss having it.

The Chicken Madras curry and Butter Chicken curry, along with the rice, were amazing! I would give 10 out of 5 stars for this. But... the Naan is rubbery, the Veggie Samosas were mediocre, and the reconstituted chicken kebabs were inedible, we threw them all out after one bite. Awful. Just buy the curries and rice, you wont be disappointed. Skip everything else.

Thats what i get burn tandoori roti I ordered some time from taj bistro barrie its a risk . Some time its good but most of the time they disappointed. Its not even fresh Food
