Had my birthday lunch here.. It was fabulous! Caesar salad, large portions My daughter had a homemade pizza and my sisters had pasta and chicken parm..All excellent quality and service

We went here for the first time last night and it was AMAZING Delicious food, the portions are huge, drinks are yum, and our waiter (Anthony) was hilarious and made the entire night. Will be back for sure!!

Fabulous dinner. We were greeted like old friends. Reno and Tony were our primary contacts and both of them were spectacular to deal with. The portions were delicious and large. I would highly recommend this restaurant!

We had an amazing food at this restaurant.Our server Tony was professional and polite. I asked for a decaf cappuccino and since they did not had it I asked for a regular latte, along with a cappuccino for my husband. They did not charge us for our drinks since they were not able to offer me with a decaf option!!! Very impressed with the customer service level along with great food quality! Definitely will go back.

We came here for a special birthday night. When we walked up to the bar and asked for a special shot; they gave us the leftovers of the last people s drink, no specificity on the name, just a aren t you lucky it s free kinda deal, despite us wanting something special. After sitting without bread or wine for 20 minutes, the waiter came by and took our order. An hour later the non impressive steaks showed up. We ended up walking around in the restaurant and chatting to some people which we later found out through overhearing the waiter talking smack about us was not the best move we could make in response to the long wait. A huge bill later, we left feeling slightly disappointed with the experience.

Went for a family lunch birthday. The food was delicious and large portions! We all took food home! The view of the water was lovely and the service was the BEST I have ever had compared to high priced restaurants in Toronto. For dessert we had the tiramisu encrusted with pistachios. Home made and best I have ever had!!!! We definitely have to return!

My husband and I recently moved to Barrie and we were looking for a good place to celebrate our Anniversary. 147 Restorante was highly recommended by our family and friends. The food was so delicious and the staff so friendly , welcoming and very attentive. Lovely atmosphere. All in all it was a great night out. This will definitely be our go to place here in Barrie. 147 is an Italian restaurant located in the heart of Barrie s downtown district. It is located on Dunlop Street with abundant parking on the street. You may have to walk a little bit to find a parking spot, but it is free after 5 PM in the evening. This Italian restaurant is reminiscent of Nonna s kitchen. Although the wine list is not-extensive it is absolutely enough and the wine is a good value. It is easy to find a selection that will pair nicely with your meal. There are many appetizers to be enjoyed at this restaurant, including Nonna s meatballs, (and even Nonna herself gave it two thumbs up). The pizza is delicious! Main courses range from many authentic pasta dishes to meat and seafood dishes. Don t forget to ask for the daily specials. The cost of the meal is quite affordable for what you get. If you like Italian, this is an absolute must experience restaurant. The view is also quite exceptional. Ask to sit at the back of the restaurant. You will overlook Lake Simcoe from vantage point.

We were a party of over 20 for a wedding rehearsal dinner and had the room to ourselves which was lovely. Michaela was a wonderful and attentive server. The food was delicious and plentiful (we had family style dining). I would cook a large party here again for sure. Thank you for a great kickoff to our wedding weekend.

We ate here on Wednesday evening. We were on our first date night getaway since we had our newest baby. We called a few hours prior and made a reservation for two. Upon arrival, they seated us in a private corner with a beautiful view of the lake. Our server, Tony, was attentive from the start. (Best server weve ever had at any restaurant). He was accommodating to not only make us drinks not on the menu, but to also accommodate our request for a special sauce for my pasta not on the menu, you dont get that type of service elsewhere. We had the meatballs for our starter, and they were the best, most incredibly moist, melt in your mouth, full of the most delicious flavor and topped with the tastiest sauce Ive ever had. We were blown away! Even the bread they bring is phenomenal. Its unlike any other Italian restaurant, it certainly stands out. My husband ordered the penne alla vodka and I ordered the chicken parm with spaghetti, with a white sauce that was out of this world. I definitely cant say enough great things about this restaurant. Great service, phenomenal food, beautiful views, and a very clean restaurant. We will definitely go back next time were in the Barrie area. We went for dinner at 147 Ristorante on a Tuesday evening. We were surprised to see that every table was full. This is NOT bad thing! I believe a full restaurant on a weekday just shows you how amazing the food, staff and atmosphere is at this restaurant. Our food and drinks were incredible!! We had the Truffle Mushroom Risotto, Penne alla Vodka and Seafood Risotto. All were cooked to perfection! My husband said that the Seafood Risotto was one of the best hes ever had. The staff really goes up and beyond to make sure you have everything you need during your visit. Thanks 147!! We will definitely be back!! :)

Risotto wasnt the greatest and the pasta sauve the next day was so oily I realized why I had horrific heartburn. Meh.

My wife and I just hosted a large party at their event space which is attached and part of the restaurant. The food was terrific and the atmosphere was perfect. The service was 5 stars with smiles all night. Thank you for taking such good care of us.

Terrible service, we had to tell them we wanted to order food after an hour of waiting. When we finally did the first bit of food was served to a few guest and then nobody else got their food till 25 mins later. And even then it was only 2 people. Would not recommend.

We have come here for years and the new management has done an unreal job. Food is amazing. Service was great. Will be coming back for sure.

Just be prepared to wait 2 hours for cold food and if you want water good luck with that If you are with a group bigger than 8. The only compensation that was offered was 25% off the food or a free drink after the owner argued with us . Food

The anticipation of a Sunday bruch here was not met with expectation. Three of us dined and we ordered three things off the menu. The salad didnt come with the proper ingredients (missing the basil), and when we asked our server, he said it wasnt supposed to have it. We checked the menu and indeed it should have the server was apologetic and brought basil. We ordered a chicken club which in itself was bland and flavorless. The potatoes that came with it were ice cold . The server took my whole plate rather than just getting new potatoes and allowing me to continue to dine with my guests. Im assuming when they returned, they had been microwaved as they were scalding hot. The drinks we ordered were delicious although we were overcharged for them as the price in the menu was $2 cheaper than in the system. The server was very polite and apologized profusely. They took the salad off the bill, which was appreciated. The restaurant is beautiful but wasnt very busy for a 12 pm Sunday. The bill for 3 meals, (2 drinks and an OJ) was still $100, even with the salad removed. The quality of the food coupled with the experience didnt match the price point. The server, while exceptionally polite, seemed new and unfamiliar with the menu. Not a place I would recommend or return to.

Fantastic brunch!!

The atmosphere was great, the food was okay and the service was so so. Booked for a large party, the new owner contacted me 2 weeks prior to tell me a deposit was required which I totally understood. Did not ask why a table of 14 was booked or if it was a special occasion. I asked I could drop off a cake and balloons when they opened at 4:00 and I was told that my reservation was at 6:30. After hesitation she said it was fine. This restaurant may be great for small parties but would not recommend for a large group unless the private room was booked.

Service, and atmosphere were top notch, desserts were delicious and beautifully presented, but the meatballs lacked the Nonna approved flavour and consistency I hoped for....maybe it was just an off day. Definately will be back to experience more menu items.

I have been to 147 multiple times and have had pretty decent experiences. Tonight was certainly an off night. First I got called to ask to push my reso back half an hour or to reschedule because they were over booked when I already booked over a week ago with no issues. We sat down. Drinks took longer than they should have. We had to call over the waiter to order our appetizers. Once we ordered our entrees it took roughly 45 mins for our food to come out. The waiter apologized 3-4x for the delay. The head chef was too occupied with his friends sitting at the table next to us when he should be in the kitchen helping his staff when food is that far behind. We ordered the mushroom risotto, surf and turf special and penne alla vodka. The steak was raw, the lobster was so over cooked it was hard, it was supposed to have shrimp it never made the plate. The risotto had absolutely zero flavour. Salt was non existent. It was one of the worst risotto s I ve ever had. The server apologized and told us he would let the manager know. The manager never even came to our table to talk to us about anything nor to apologize about how terrible the experience was for us. They just took the 2 entrees off the bill. I was so disappointed tonight. I was in the industry for years. Server seemed a bit overwhelmed, the chef should have never left his kitchen during a rush, and management could ve been better. I have another reservation already booked for next Saturday that I m contemplating on booking elsewhere now. Super upsetting night :(

I have dined here twice and have loved the vibe both times. The penne alla vodka is perfection. I am a very big pasta fan and this is probably rated one on my list now.

Very disappointing. Came here for our 10 year wedding anniversary. Made note in reservation of the occasion and was never acknowledged by the staff. Food was mediocre at best. Rice balls were cold. Pasta was pretty bland and definitely not fresh homemade. Prices were not cheap either. We went for a night out but felt rushed the whole time as there was a large group eating there and said we should get our order in before them. Barely got to finish a drink before our appetizer came quickly followed by our main course. We were in and rushed out the door in 30 minutes. Very disappointing considering the occasion. Was supposed to be an enjoyable relaxed night out. Definitely won t be returning

My family had a great time at 147! The espresso martini was perfect and the calamari was crispy and delicious. The mushroom truffle risotto was creamy and flavorful. Tony, our server, was friendly and provided excellent service. Cant wait to go back!

What a gem! This restaurant delivers when it comes to Italian cuisine! To start, they offer a complimentary bread plate that came with two types of bread - olive focaccia and parmesan garlic twist. Delicious! Other restaurants need to take note. We ordered arranchini, penne a la vodka and orchiatta barese. The penne a la vodka is probably the best Ive had. Big strips of bacon, delicious sauce that is perfectly balanced and not overly creamy. The orchiatta barese was equally delicious! Little shells with sausage and rapini in a mildly spiced garlic oil. Simply devine. I wish I had pictures, but their Instagram account really does all of their food justice. It really does taste as good as it looks! I cannot wait to go back and try their other dishes. Especially looking forward to the Italian sandwich. Excellent dining experience. I highly recommend! Chefs kisses all around.

UPDATE JULY 2024. I havent had a chance to visit the restaurant for a while but wanted to savour a favourite dish that i previously reviewed. I called and ordered two of the seafood linguine dishes Fruti di Mar and some bread. What I got was so disappointing. The item was nowhere near what I had in the past. The only seafood was some clams The original had a large variety of seafood. I ordered it with the red sauce instead of white as before., All I got was some red looking water. My memory of the dish was that the portion was so generous in the past we rarely were able to eat it all. This time, as you can see by the photos, it was minuscule and utterly pathetic and bland. I got all this for a WHOPPING $90. Unreal. I certainly will never go back or ordered or even recommend anyone waste their money. ORIGINAL REVIEW. A cozy and appealing restaurant in the heart of Barrie. 147 Ristorante offers excellent food, generous portions, and at mid range prices. The Fruti di Mar was my favourite main dish. It is not only flavourful, but I can say for the first time ever, I was unable to finish the portion. I discovered it tastes just as good if not better as a leftover. The Capri salad was also a hit with me. Once again, generous portions of cheese made this a winner. The grilled calamari was done to perfection. The daily specials are also worth a try. Fish and meat dishes especially. I have been there several times and each time i forget to take photos as Im so looking forward to the meal. Ill try to update this review with photos the next time Im there.They have a good wine selection which will suite all tastes and budgets. The restaurant s always buys so make reservations well ahead of your planned visit. Parking in the downtown area is not as bad as one would think especially if you like to have your dinner early as i do.

147 is a very intimate setting with very friendly staff, amazing food both in quantity and quality. We also thought that the price was very reasonable. Overall, a great experience!

This is such a cute restaurant. The food is fantastic. I had the rigatoni bolognese, which was very tasty, but I had some of my wifes lobster ravioli and it is amazing. Ive had lobster ravioli before but this is the first time it actually tasted like lobster. The charcuterie board, arugula salad, and skewers were also great. The service is great, and everyone was so nice. Parking: There are some spots nearby on the street.

This is one amazing Italian restaurant. The food is delicious, the portions are big and the service is exceptional. Marta the owner and her staff pay attention to every detail, they all care and make sure you have great food and a great experience. I recommend this restaurant and am sure you will not be disappointed. It was fantastic.

Had a terrible meal. Seafood appetizer was nothing but a plate of dried out calamari, a couple of over cooked shrimp and 1 scallop (advertised as scallops so youd think youd get more than one for $28! ) Lamb shank was swimming in a bowl with beef gravy, sitting on mashed potatoes that tasting like pablum. Other meal was unappetizing as well - charred overcooked lobster. Spent a ridiculous amount of money for the crappiest meal Ive had. Emailed customer service (they never pick up their phone) and it took almost 3 weeks to respond. Response was :thats too bad - Ill tell the kitchen. Anniversary dinner and $250 down the drain. What an utter disappointment.

Was my first time here and may be my last. I have hearing issues and the music was so loud my party couldnt hear each other unless we yelled. I asked repeatedly if it could be turned down to no avail. Then it got really busy and everyone was yelling. Not a good atmosphere for me. Its hard to lip read when you are eating. The restaurant is very pleasing to the eye and clean. The wine prices were reasonable. They bring a nice bread plate to start. I ordered the chicken parm. I make better at home for much less. I should have tried something else. Would love to say next time but unless they can do something about the noise level, I wont be going back.

My wife and I went to 147 to celebrate a milestone. Food, service and atmosphere were terrific. At the risk of being picky, I noticed when we received our bill we were charged $4.00 more for our speducci (full price versus the happy hour price). Certainly not a huge deal but hey we ordered during happy hour and should have been charged the happy hour price. Our server apologized and fixed the bill. My wife then noticed we were charged $20.00 for her glass of rose when the menu showed it as $14.00. Again we pointed this out to our server, she apologized again and as we had already paid the bill she gave us $6.00 back in cash. Now in the big picture $10.00 is no big deal. My issue is how did this happen and how often does it happen and go unnoticed. We will definitely go back BUT will check the bill. Ironically, I almost never check the bill when I go out I will from now on.

I enjoy this restaurant. The service is amazing. If you have a large party take note, they may put you in the side opposite to the main restaurant. It is nice And a little quieter than the main restaurant, so your group well sort of be independent. The main restaurant itself is great. Because you can sit out on the patio or close to a window looking out on the street. Their alcoholic drinks are amazing. The food is delicious and the service is great. Very clean atmosphere.

1st time there last night. Very good impressions. Nicely dressed clientele, so a thank you goes out to those whom dressed up for the occasion. Table was very well dressed too, lol, nice table cloth, napkins, cutlery, glassware, etc. The food was excellent, from starter salad to main course fish special. Ordered a cappuccino which arrived promptly and served hot, just as it should be. Nice conversational artwork that included a Frank Sinatra print, as well as good music. Overall a great experience. Fortunate to have 147 in our city, I really appreciate your establishment. See you again.

It s been two years since my wife and I have been here. Tonight we celebrated our anniversary and I have to send a heartfelt thank you to the new owner! She is wonderful. Ask for any of her arrabbiata sauce dishes. And the oysters are to die for. Last but not least, the cheesecake omg so good!

I just came in for brunch on Mother s day and I can say it did not disappoint! The brunch menu was an absolute delight, the waffles which were made in house and were nothing short but perfect. The service was excellent and quick and the staff was extremely friendly! If your looking to go somewhere for brunch or dinner I highly recommend this place!!!

My favourite restaurant in Barrie! I ordered, the Tavoletta board, the special steak and lobster dinner (Extra Saucy), Espresso cocktail, and Red wine to pair with my steak. I loved everything! Can t wait to go back and try other dishes.

Ive been to this restaurant 3 or 4 times now and the service has been horrible every single time. Dont get me wrong the food is great and thats the main reason Ive gone back. But Ive learnt my lesson for the final time and will no longer go again.

My wife and I celebrated a belated anniversary dinner at 147 last night and it was fabulous! Our initial reservation for March 22 was cancelled due to a larger event. Myah was compassionate and professional when she called to give us the bad news! Marta, the owner, attended our table and personally apologized for the unfortunate cancellation. She was gracious and very generous in making sure this wrong was righted. Brody was amazing as our server, so attentive and courteous! Oh yeah, the food and wine were amazing! We ordered the eggplant parm and the mahi mahi, both were delicious! The pistachio tiramisu lived up to the hype! Were already looking forward to our next outing to 147! Vegetarian options: I would definitely recommend the margerita pizza and the eggplant parm.

Went here for Valentines Day. Everything was exceptional except for the service. The waiter (Ben I think) was average. I would easily give this place a 5 star if the service was better from him. Food was out of this world delicious! Lobster ravioli was a bit too salty but still the best Ive ever had. Tiramisu was easily the best Ive ever had. The bartender Shannon made an espresso martini that was perfection! There was an old school Italian man bussing the tables that gave off a true old school upscale Italian feel that was amazing. I wish he was my waiter. The atmosphere was intimate and romantic playing Andre bocceli in the background.I would definitely go back again. This place is a must try!

Dined here with some girlfriends a few Fridays ago - the ambiance of the restaurant was enjoyable, as were the drinks, and the seating is comfortable. However the carbonara was disappointing - watery egg sauce pasta is how I would describe it. I might go back and try a different dish.

Fantastic fine dining restaurant in Barrie! We came here with our friend and everything we ordered looked amazing and tasted so delicious. Brody was wonderful; very knowledgeable about everything on the menu, extremely professional and attentive. Absolutely love this place and looking forward to another visit soon.

Came on a busy Friday evening. The atmosphere was great. Restaurant was pretty full and there were definitely some tables enjoying themselves. Excellent service from a waiter with an English accent. Complimentary breadsticks were really nice. Ordered a Caesar Salad (3/5) to start. Nothing too special here but definitely serviceable. Followed by the mains where we ordered Lobster Ravioli (5/5) from the daily specials and that was excellent. Very rich sauce with lots of lobster meat. A bit let down by the Chicken Parm (2/5). The tomato sauce just seemed very bland making the mound of pasta a bit of a chore to eat. Overall we had a great time and will definitely come back.

My husband and I had the pleasure dining at 147 for my birthday. Upon entry we were greeted politely and seated shortly after. Our server was friendly and personable. Our food and drinks came rather quickly, one after another. The only complaint - where we were seated, we were crowded with other tables, and waiters were coming between these aisles to serve the other tables, and unfortunately, a lot of the waiters behind got into our space as they were trying to serve the other tables. It was no fault of the waiters, but more so trying to place as many tables as possible in a small area. It took away from the experience a little, to say the least. However, we were here in time for locallicious, and we both enjoyed the award winning lobster ravioli! It was indeed tasty, and there was plenty of lobster in the pasta! We had the pistachio tiramisu, which was also a delightful treat as well! The drinks were strong -no complaint there! All the servers were incredibly friendly and hospitable to not only their own tables, but to all guests.

Amazing experience. My Husband and I had the entire restaurant to ourselves for most of our meal as they opened the other side for Localicious. I had the lobster ravioli and it was amazing (hoping to see it on the regular menu). Sam, our server, was attentive and friendly. All of the food was fantastic from start to finish. We will certainly be back!

The first dish I ever tried was the Frutti Di Mari, and it is honestly the biggest pasta dish I have had in awhile (unfortunately, I didnt get to take a picture of it) and it got me coming back to this restaurant. There is also a wide variety of seafood in it. The waiter recommended to go with a mixture of white and tomato sauce, and I am glad I listened! What I love about this restaurant is that they dont compensate quantity with quality. Waiters and waitresses here are also very welcoming and attentive. See yall again soon!

We absolutely love this place! Great selection of dishes (everything we have tried is amazing), and very generous portion sizes. Staff are knowledgeable and friendly and we have no complaints.

147 is under new ownership and I am thoroughly impressed!! The food has gotten so much better, it is absolutely amazing, extremely authentic!! Quality ingredients, flavour in every bite, no matter what you order. The owners are very personable and have made amazing changes. The ONLY place in Barrie you should be going for Italian food.

Our first visit to 147 was on New Years Eve. Plenty of options on the menu. Very tasty food.. good portions on the main dishes.

Ok now the food....amazing. Garlic Parmesan bread is good enough to want to move to that next dress size! Caesar salad was the real deal. Frutti de Mare was loaded with seafood. 5 stars. I have now had two events at 147 along with eating there a few times. My babyshower & son s baptism was absolutely stunning at this restaurant. The food is always delicious with great sized portions, and beautifully plated. The staff is always incredible, very polite & friendly and always ontop of everything! They will go above and beyond to make sure you are happy with your experience here. I highly recommend this restaurant for a nice meal and to host parties!

Great experience at 147 Italian restaurant. Food and wine was delicious. Recommend the Caprese Salad to start. Chicken Parmigiana was tasty with large portion. Their special was Wild Boar paste, delicious. Restaurant was very busy, but still felt safe with social distancing. They took our temperature when entering. I d definitely return.

I ve been to restaurant 147 many times, however this time was my last, Food was cold and service was terrible, the server was rude and condescending. We reasoned with them to only pay for what we ate, however they still over charged us on the items, after several corrections we paid and left, still over charged, just wanted to leave, the overall experience made for a disappointing date night. If you must nickel dime the people you depend on, buyer beware..

Tonight we made a last second reservation at 147 Italian cuisine in Barrie, haven t been back since summer patio days though we ve had plenty of take out. And we were in for such a wonderful surprise!! From the management team to the owners, the chefs and the experienced waiters, they didn t disappoint!! Everyone played such a key role in our evening. We got to meet Colleen, assuming she s the general manager, if she isn t then she definitely should be who greeted us with the nicest hospitality and attended to us the entire evening. A huge shoutout to the super chef team who were able to take a basic dish like a pasta primavera and turn it into a mountain of spaghetti delight loaded with vegetables at a crazy unbelievable price point of $20 at a fine dining establishment. The two owners, Rick and Vince who equally added to the night. Brody, the waiter extraordinaire. Just a super super lovely night. They say everything comes from the top, I m sure in this place everything comes from Rick!! Can t wait to waltz through these doors again. Highly highly recommend. -Annette and Family

Food was delicious but be careful! They haven t updated their menu prices and you ll get a surprise on your bill (ie speciality coffee is now $13 while the menu states $8 as of April 8th).

This place was recommended to me & I am so grateful it was. They were able to give me a reservation on a Friday last minute for the time I requested & sat me down as soon as I got in the door. The staff is friendly and our server Shawna went above and beyond to help us. Food was FANTASTIC that I had to obviously take a pizza home. Definitely hit the spot, I cannot wait to go back. I totally recommend this place to anyone looking for a great spot in Barrie.

Average at best. The food might stand out in a small town like Barrie where bars and roadhouses are the norm but this restaurant would never make it in Toronto where beautiful delicious Italian food are in abundance. Severely overpriced.

We had such a wonderful dinner tonight. We had 2 babies with us and our server Janine and staff were so kind and so accommodating. Thank you so much for you kindness and hospitality. And food was amazing as usual.

A great atmosphere and great service. Very pleasant and busy. Food was okay. Had braised short rib pasta. The pasta wasnt to soft with not much short rib in the sauce. My wife had gorganzolla gnocchi. She could barely taste the gorganzolla in her sauce. For 100 dollar plus meal it was average.

Great food! Great portion sizes! I wish I had remembered to take pics of our dinner, but we ordered the chicken Parm and lamb and pasta. We had the Baileys creme brulee for dessert and it was divine.

Thank you 147. We had the most amazing First Communion party for my daughter at the restaurant. Food - go hungry as the portions are huge. Everyone could not stop talking about how good everything was. Servers - very attentive and friendly. Bartender- drinks were divine, he makes the best Manhattan and Aperol Spritz to name a couple. Waited 20 minutes at the front door for our reserved table. After 20 minutes I went up and asked if we could have a drink while we wait and were told that s it s been ready they just forgot to tell us? Another 20 minutes for 3 espresso martinis - was told the bar was backed up. Server told us hed try to not forget about us since we were at the back of the restaurant. Had to repeatedly ask for things that were already ordered, server even brought us free shots because he felt bad that our service had been so poor. Food was good but the service not good.

This was my first visit to 147 Ristorante. I ordered lasagna and it was superb! The waiter was friendly and helpful. The place is cozy too. I will definitely return to try other menus. Food : 5/5

I recently went for a family/friends event to celebrate a wedding. The servers, the chef, the food and the overall atmosphere was amazing! Highly recommend. Everything was 10/10!!

Absolutely delicious! They were able to seat us very quickly, gave us a plate of bread and we ordered the Vodka pasta and the Gnocchi. They were both very filling so we took the pasta home with us.

We went in for dinner on Thursday but thought we would go an hour early to catch the half price appetizer deal they claim to have from Tuesday to Thursday from 4-6 pm., (we were there at 5 pm.) but this is absolutely not the case. We got our cheque and they do not honor this whatsoever, even after we ordered full dinners, a bottle of wine and a few pints of beer. Very disappointing and we will not be back.

It was nice to visit 147 as this place has had many iterations. It looked good and clean however it was very loud and we couldnt hear each other speak. The food was good but what I chose was not excellent. Staff was very good, helpful and aware of timing of food. All in all it was nice however I wont likely go again

Our group of four went for dinner to celebrate Father s Day. Our server was lovely and tried his best to remedy the disaster that was the rest of dinner. All four of our mains (chicken, cod, pizza, and lasagna) arrived cold. We sent the lasagna (ordered by dad) back as he likes his food at least warm and decided to not fuss about the other mains being cold since we were all really hungry. It took another 30+ minutes for the lasagna to come out, dispute our server checking in with the kitchen several times. Everyone else was done eating at that point already and the poor man didn t have any food (at a Father s Day celebration no less)! Our server did comp the lasagne at the end so I will say the service was good but the food was very disappointing.

Was in for my friends birthday dinner there was 6 of us. Sam was our server, and she started off fantastic! She was overwhelmed as dinner rush began and did not receive any help! We waited for drinks way longer than needed we watched bar staff stand around and she ran from the back dinning room to the front patio and to our table. Food was fantastic but lacked in service at the table. She got help from a male server who didn t communicate where drinks went which resulted in an issues for bills. I told an server who came to the table that the poor girl didn t stand a chance when he then said there were short staffed but we didn t see these two guys the whole night and watched this poor girl run around while at least 2 bartenders didn t offer a hand to her at all. In my opinion if they have time to stand around they can take the tables at the front of the restaurant while the dinning room servers don t have to run back and forth resulting in these horrible reviews. Sam needs a raise !

Everything was amazing. We showed up with a reservation somewhat wet from a summer rain and looking quite disheveled. We ordered the daily special, which was this mushroom/ravioli/truffle/white sauce dish. It was spectacular. The bread sticks are to die for. Our only complaint is that the toilet paper in the bathrooms was the cheapest one-ply toilet paper that exists, which really sucked when walking in from the rain. Id dock a half star, but Google doesnt let me, so I have to dock a whole star. If that TP was plushy, theyd get five stars.

Food is okay but for cost, it couldve been better prepared and portion sizes are smaller than average. They fill you up on bread which is okay if you eat bread.

The restaurant is beautiful and we were really excited to come here but we were disappointed with our food. While the presentation of the dishes was beautifully executed, we found the brushetta and shrimp diavola to be pretty bland and very small portions (even for appetizers). We got our apps for half off due to the happy hour special which was nice but I wouldn t get that again especially at regular price. The oysters and wine were delicious. Our waiter was kind but we felt the service was a little lacking as it took a long time for us to be able to order more drinks. The food was just okay, not what we were expecting taste wise.

I showed up with my kids. They said they couldnt seat us at a table because we didnt have a reservation. After pressing they offered for us to sit at the bar. There were tables available the entire time we were there. The bartender was awesome. She made special drinks for my kids and was very personable. The kitchen messed up one of our items, but overall the food was good. The restaurant seemed uptight trying to cater to a martini crowd and they left me feeling as though we were unwelcome and being looked down upon.

I got breaded wings when I asked for non breaded and then I ordered a small fry to go with them, the waitress could have mentioned that the wings came with fries, so I got 2x the fries...

Nothing truly knocked our socks off. The lasagna was ok, the ravioli was ok and the meatball was ok. Thankfully the apps were 1/2 price since everything is so expensive. The Diavola shrimp were very nice and the bruschetta was ok. Other than that the service was very good and the place has a really nice atmosphere and decor.

First time dining, overall very good! We had unforunate seating close to the bar, right next to the espresso machine that was constantly on/making noise which ruined a bit of the atmosphere and hard to hear. Food and service was great. Best calamari weve ever had.

One Forty Seven is top shelf. I ve been here a few times and have left happy and full each time. Our most recent server, Brody, knows how to read patrons. Without me saying it, he could tell that we were just stopping in for a quick bite before an event and he made sure we got our food quickly and made sure we were on our way.

I have been to this restaurant for many years, food has always been authentic Italian have hosted parties many times! But tonight I went there for my 33rd anniversary and the food was terrible! I can make Risotto better then theirs with my eyes closed! They served me boiled rice with sauce. Everyone knows you have to stir and work a risotto to perfection! And my husband ordered pasta carbonara and it was dry and salty. We took remainings home for the dogs. I can say that the best part of our evening was the service, our waitress was great!

Made reservations for Saturday at 645 on Open Table. Received text a day later to confirm reservation. I get a call 2 hours before the reservation saying we re sorry but can you come a hour later as we ve overbooked! It was our go to restaurant for many years but recently changed ownership. I made reservations elsewhere and asked for a return call which I never received! Extremely disappointed!

The service is great, waiters are very attentive and friendly, the food was incredible and the view of the lake front was great from our table. The risotto special was one of the tastiest things I ve ever tried, I can t wait to go back!!! Update: came here for my bday dinner the past two years, I really enjoy this restaurant and so does my family!!

This restaurant was recommended by many friends so we were excited to finally try it. Unfortunately, we were quite disappointed by the food. I ordered the Melograno salad and the dressing was so acidic it was sour. Not edible, had to send it back (which I hate doing). For my main, I ordered the Orecchiette. It was very underwhelming. The rapini was bitter and there was not a lot of other flavour in the dish.. My guest had the Chicken Parmigiana and it was just okay. Nothing to write home about. Overall, we were not impressed by the meal. HOWEVER, I am putting three stars as the atmosphere was lovely and our service was very good. Room to improve.

Me personally I didn t love the food I m a picky eater but , pistol was very nice and took my food off the bill even tho I didn t ask super nice people good spot to eat

The atmosphere here is great. Service is good. Great location, but I must say, the value for the price wasn t amazing. 50.00 for a salad with no chicken, and 2 vodkas seems a bit excessive! Bread at the beginning of the meal was awesome

Very nice restaurant to taste a good variety of delicious Italian food. One of the best, at least in this area. I went together with my teenage daughter who is very picky, she also enjoyed the food and the ambiance.
