Best shawarma in town, very welcoming and helpful staff, provides us a sample of the spiced rice, and put other dressing sauces (tahini and hot sauce) in separate containers for us to try out. We ordered a large portion of mix plate, all veggies are fresh, and the taste of meats are amazing, the portion can easily feed up 4 people which is a great deal.
Best shwarma I've ever had. I eat here anytime I am in barrie and want shwarma. Staff is very respectful, and you can tell they care. Food is so tasty, fresh and great portions for price. If you haven't tried, you should, you will not be disappointed. Mixed plate is my go to with extra garlic sauce.

Me ans my husband ordered mix plate amd tiramisu and we just loved it. The flavors are authentic and explosive, with each bite a perfect balance of spices and freshness. The portions are HUGE - I'm talking "can't-finish-it-in-one-sitting" huge! And what's more that Budget-friendly doesn't even begin to describe it - I felt like I was stealing! Taste has it all. It is truly the only spot worth going to in Barrie. Don’t waste your money anywhere else. Seriously the best bang for your buck. The portions, price, quality, and flavour are all 10/10. Kind staff too! Love going here. So grateful they are in Barrie.
Coming from the GTA, was hard to find a good Turkish Shawarma place. But this restaurant is amazing! The staff and the cook are very friendly and working efficiently even at busy times. Food tastes amazing and the price is reasonable for the portions you get. I would recommend to anyone looking to get some good Shawarma!!
This place is so amazing I had to write a review. Ordered a large mixed plate with chicken and beef and they piled on the salad, rice, meat and sauce until it was a mountain. Not only are the portions huge, the food tasted awesome. The garlic sauce is next level. Definitely could feed 2-3 people easily. Owner is super nice and the washrooms are very clean. This is a must try when you're in Barrie! You will not be disappointed.
Excellent place to have shawarma, HUGE PORTIONS and tasty. Friendly staff with big smiles. They give you a lot of sauce. Clean restaurant and washrooms. 15 people can sit in the store. We ordered a large mixed plate with beef and chicken. Enough to feed 2 hungry men.

The shawarma was decent and they give you a lot of chicken. The garlic sauce that they added kinda reminded me of burger sauce. Another thing that happened was that they asked me to give them 5 stars for a free soda can which is probably why they have such a high score. Be warned about that

Come here at least once a month, can always guarantee quick effective service and the portions are phenomenal for the price of the food. $15 for a regular plate of chicken shawarma with a good amount of rice and a ton of fresh veggies is always my go to and I always end up with leftovers

Amazing food and the owners were so nice.
All 3 of us got food poisoning. The falafels looked nice and were huge but ended up tasting like chemicals so we didnt finish it. Ordered beef and chicken. Tasted ok but probably nothing special. What annoyed me the most was the fact their menu has one price and the cashier decides their own price. When I asked them about why they are charging me an extra dollar the cashier said oh thats the old menu. Then where is the new menu? They made no effort to honour the price or even apologize. Gave them $50 and they asked if I had another 25 cents. To me this place just screams broke and it shows when they try to squeeze every Nickle out of you.

Totally impressed! This was the second time we ordered online from Uber Eats and won t be the last. We ordered the Buy 1 Get 1 special of Mixed Plate with brown rice, with no mods or adds. The regular size is quite generous. The flavours were vibrant, with a great blend of spices and oh those roasted meat bits on the edges! Our order arrived hot and well packaged. I do recommend asking for the lettuce salad in a separate container as we did this time. If you re looking for a super tasty shawarma plate, I highly recommend this one!

40 bucks down the drain. Dry over cooked chicken, just whole pieces of tomatoe on a salad with basically no garlic. But I don t see you actually fixing the problem for the burnt dry chicken as the reviews about dry burnt meat go back some time
Best in barrie hands down
I used to love this shawarma spot and recommend to many of my friends, but my last visit was really disappointing. I ordered a regular shawarma plate, and the portion was much smaller than usual less rice at beginning and when i asked they filled it up with rice and too much lettuce. No hummas or garlic paste added at the side of rice. The chicken was also sparse only on top of rice, and when I asked for extra, they refused. The flavors weren t great either. I m really let down and this place won t be anymore my first preference.

I have been a regular customer here, probably coming 5 times a month for 3 months, but as of tonight I am never coming back. I ordered a chicken plate and *every* piece of chicken was extremely burnt, and the cinnamon rice has absolutely zero flavour, even the sauces have almost no flavour compared to usual! I dont know who was working tonight, but they clearly have no idea what is going on. I wouldnt feed this to an animal. I never leave a meal unfinished, but if I kept eating this I would surely vomit. What an awful experience.
This is by far the best Shawarma place I visited in Canada. Very generous potion size. 13.49 for large Sharma plate with good amount of chicken, quality rice and fresh salad. Highly recommend this place. I wish they start franchise in GTA.

I was in taste of shawarma in Barrie earlier this evening, tried it for the first time about 2 months ago amidst my sadness in search of comfort food when my Toronto maple leafs had lost game 1 to the Bruins, Literally have gone back every weekend since! Easily the best food item in Barrie is the shawarma plate. Flavorful, filling, super fresh, and really good price. Staff is always nice, just a few tables in the restaurant to eat there but it s good enough. 100% recommended.

The food is great. Excellent taste and yes they have healthy options as well. Been in Barrie for 3 years and tasted it recently. Wanted to call out that it was really a miss from my end not to have visited this place earlier than I did. I opted for larhe falafel plate which was a very nice size serving and my family of four (2 adults and 2 kids) felt it was more than enough for us.

Came here for all the rave reviews but I found the food to be okay. Ive had better shawarma elsewhere. I had the mixed shawarma rice plate, the meat was definitely tender and fresh but the food overall could use a little more seasoning. They have so many sauces that they offer but even with all the sauces, I found it to be bland. Service was quick though.
