Second time here place was good until my girl friend found hair stuck in the breading of the chicken wings and when I called back hoping to solve this amicably I was told I was not able to get my refund and was told the store is closing soon with no management on duty to rectify the problem my serious concern was treated as if it was a joke while I was being manipulated to believe it wasn’t hair at they laughed on the phone don’t recommend any eat at a establishment that handled this situation poorly… I’m on my way back there as we speak
Wow this place is actually pretty great. Especially good value! They also have many ingredients you don't usually see such as corn, zucchini, artichoke, shrimp, and goat cheese which give you lots of options to be creative. The pizza itself has a tasty dough and the garlic dipping sauce is fantastic. Highly recommended.
Extremely disappointing!! I had a couple friends for dinner and a nice glass of wine and this is what I received to eat. It was inedible, raw, dough was THINNER than a 1 ply roll of no name toilet paper. Pineapple was a full can of pineapple tossed on it after it was “cooked”! And I’m pretty sure the onion was thrown on as well after the fact. Asked for well done and it came raw. Awful awful awful! Not sure how to rate the”service” as they were polite but the food was horrible. Very disappointing.
This place has very good pizza .Great Taste, Wings not too bad they're pretty small. But I would stay away from past this last time I was there it was very bad overcooked. this place is not for pasta.
Came for our first time, and must say order cooked to perfection. Staff at the front were very kind and patient while we decided what to order. The pizza topping selection was excellent. Thanks for the awesome experience, we will be back 😁
Great place to get a pizza, drove about 1/2 hour to try it out as people in my community told me about it and i was glad i did. the wings were a little bit over as you can see but all in all the pizza was delicious and i will be going back there. The portions were average but the quality of the food was on the high side and you could tell. great job guys!
Long story. Drive to the place to order a pizza. Then dum dum me that I forgot my wallet. So I said I will be right back. 20 minutes later I am back with my wallet. The order taker said that my pizza wasn't put through!!!!! What????? If I had known that I wouldn't of came back!!! So I re ordered it again and sat down and waited. Then all of a sudden she said my pizza was made before!!! What the hell. So by now the pizza isn't even hot just luke warm. What the hell!!! Will try again but if this is how they treat customers. I don't know
Just moved to Barrie recently and have been searching for a good pizza place. Ordered from Cocelli Pizza tonight and delivery was fast. Food price was reasonable for the quality received. Will definitely order from this establishment again. As for the food, we ordered two pizzas, one with onion, mushroom, pepperoni, ham and bacon. The other had ham, bacon, onion, mushroom and green pepper. First impression as opened the box: looks delicious! Second impression: wow! The toppings look REAL and FRESH! It has been a while since I had real strip bacon on my pizza and I loved it! The ham was cubed from a real steak of ham and cooked perfectly to brown and cure the meat to a sweet, flavourful perfection. We asked for thin crust and it came with authentic charring in spots just as we love it! The sauce was sweet and fresh. The mushrooms were REAL and FRESH and nicely portioned. Check out the pics as proof. This pizza was excellent.
Generally, I love this place and have ordered for a couple years. However, we ordered and there driver went to wrong address and we never received our food. They felt they did no wrong, and only wanted to compensate 10%. They and their driver are not willing to accept any liability at all! Yet, wanted to place blame on us. Will not order from this place ever again!

Pizza wings and pasta were awesome. A no frills pizza joint that just does good food. Also they are pretty quick most times.
Placed an order through Uber eats, cocellis uses their delivery drivers front the store to avoid customers being able to track orders and not having to provide a picture when its delivered. Driver lied saying they delivered food an hour and 20 minutes after ordering but I never received anything. They refused to actually deliver or offer a refund. I was a loyal customer until this experience, will go elsewhere from now on as I dont like businesses who rip people off.

Updating my review. This place used to be our favourite, but the past 1-2 years they consistently overcook the pizza. Once it was completely black, most other times it s just too much. On the rare occasion that it comes out right, it s an amazing pizza. And I just had fermented marinara sauce.
The thing that i can just say about this place is just WOW WOW AND JUST WOW THE TASTE OF THE FOOD IS JUST PHENOMENAL AND ONCE YOU HAVE THE PIZZA YOU CRAVE FOR THE SAME DOUGH AND THE SMELL OF IT Everything is just so fine and i would just say WOW.. Food : 5/5

Every time we take the kids to Barrie we stop here for pizza. The owners are very friendly and the pizza is the best we have ever tried.
Bad customer service. Ordered 2 pizzas was delivered and not what I ordered called to inform them and told me they would have a credit on my account for my next order and there was no credit when I called to order again. I was ordering pizza once a week from them.

This place is gone way down hill, used to a large pepperoni pizza with cheese $9.99 walkin special not anymore now its just cheese extra for pepperoni, plus the prices have gone way up as well, less quality now. Believe I live 2 min away.
Their pizza is by far the best in town. They are all very friendly and have excellent customer service. I have never been disappointed. Their spaghetti and meat sauce is amazing as well.

UPDATE: Still loving all the delicious pastas, ceaser salad and pizza. However today when we picked up the woman at the counter wasnt too friendly. She was quite snippy and never even said thank you. Not just with us other clients too. Maybe she was having a bad day and hope she feels better soon. Absolutely Delicious!! First time trying as we stayed at Fairfield Inn next door. Had spaghetti & meatballs as well as ceaser salad. Best ceaser we ever had!! Spaghetti & Meatballs were awesome!! Portions were more than generous and prices so reasonable. People very friendly. Wish we lived closer!!

My favourite cheese pizza in Barrie. They get that golden crisp on the cheese that I thought only existed in the movies. The location is clean and well maintained, and the service is always friendly and prompt.

70 bucks for an extra large and 20 wings. This is the third straight time we have asked for well done and had to cook it for 20 minutes because its raw dough. It would be one thing if it came quickly but it was over an hour to get here.

We eat pizza from here once a week. Was always 5 star. This time we ordered pepperoni and onion. When we got home it was a pepperoni pizza only and was obviously old and reheated. My husband called to comment and the girl whom we had never seen before was not apologetic at all and blamed us saying we didnt order onion. We will not be back. A real shameful way to treat loyal customers.

Really good food, and a lot of it. Im a blue collar worker (HVAC) and eat quite a bit. I got their salad, garlic bread and panzo and only was able to eat the salad and garlic bread. Delicious and well priced Food

Ordered 2 med and 20 wing combo and a large pizza. Driver came with one large and one medium. When I called to let them know they first said I didnt order 2 med and when I asked to break down the bill they then told me I was charged for the 3 pizzas. So I asked if they can come back with it. She said no theyre too busy. And said theyd put a $10 credit on my account. Terrible customer service!!!!

Have loved this pizza place for 5 years+, don t know if ownership has changed but quality has taken a deep dive. Last 3 pizzas (gave them the benefit of the doubt) have shown up below room temp. Borderline cold, had to heat them up in the oven to eat them. Will never order delivery again.
Agree with previous review; I think this place has changed hands ! Quality is no where near what it was. Ordered pasta dish and it was watery and no taste . The meat was poor quality! Sad to say but I won t be back!

I like to take pride in the fact I ve eaten at every Italian place in Barrie. This is the only restaurant that is consistent, excellent, and doesn t charge an arm and a leg. I can t stress that enough. You will not find a better Italian restaurant in barrie. If you do, please let me know, because I ve been looking for over a decade now and this is the only one that I ve found to be truly excellent.

The lovely staff catered a family event and produced fresh and flavourful pastas pizzas and salads. All the food was elegantly prepared and nicely seasoned, portions were generous and price was affordable! Strongly recommend!

On Friday April 21, 2023 We ordered an extra large pizza with pepperoni ,mushroom bacon & green pepper. It was the absolute BEST pizza !!! It was cooked well had lots of pizza sauce and the dough was soft and chewy. Forget everyone else Cocelli Pizza is on our speed dial .

Best baked pizza in Barrie. The cheese is perfect. Ive never had better pizza than Cocellis. I still get pizza from the other pizza chains but im always coming back to Cocellis and reminded why they are the best.

I am typing this as I am sitting in the restaurant. Placed an order for dinner. I ordered 1 panzerotti and 1 chicken wings. My friend ordered one panzerotti. Our order came and my husband cut into his panzerotti and it had pineapples..looks like he got my friends order. Turns out they had given his order to someone else and since my husband had cut into my friends had to cook 2 new ones. They were too busy arguing with each other trying to understand their error and ignoring us and didnt even start cooking the missed orders for about 10 mins. Half hr later we are still waiting and no panzerotti in sight...looks like they messed up a bunch of orders. I understand things happen but the staff here did not even apologize or offer any kind of credit-even though they let the guy who received my husbands panzerotti keep it. Had high hopes for this place. Heard it had great food. Seems like we will never know about the panzerotti. Update: almost an hour later we received the panzerottis-the rest of us were already done our meal. Asked to speak to manager but they did not come out...so for me that speaks volumes about the business. When the manager finally did come out she refused to offer any compensation and didnt find that they had done anything wrong. She also would not give me her name, said she didnt have to. I was not happy with the customer service at the Barrie location of Cocelli Pizza and wont be back...but they dont seem to care if they lose business.
Went there with friends and service was very slow and they made mistakes for the whole order. When we confronted them no apologies. Staff was very rude. Took hour to get the order. Took them 15 minutes to figure it out they made mistake. Not only our order but someone came to pick up order there order was wrong as well. 15 minutes later guy came back to tell them he got wrong order. No apologies at all by staff. Food is not bad but because of staff we wont be back there.
Excellent food and service yesterday evening. Unfortunately witnessed staff being berated by rude, out of line customers. No one deserves to be talked to like that, but staff handled the situation with grace and professionalism.

I just ordered again for the who-knows-how-many-th time. Amazing pizza, great wings, and dont get me started about the salad. I think it may be a family owned business but in any case I love it. The nicest people and the best food. A fella who barely spoke English was nicer and more friendly than people who do. Big handshake, smiles, and thanks. We ordered from there a couple of weeks ago and we where very impressed, we had to order it again for our daughters birthday party and again it was excellent, the price and quality our amazing, I love the fact that they used real toppings (strips of bacon), 4 large pizzas, 2 large pastas, 30 wings and 2 garlic bread for 160, all delivered with in 30 minutes, we could not have been happier with the price and the quality, keep up the good work!!!

First of all, Cocelli pizza is AMAZING, which is why I m so disappointed in our pasta order. We got 2 pasta dishes delivered and the pasta is extremely over cooked and mushy. The chicken in the pasta is processed and flubbery. The meat sauce tastes like it s from a can. $45 for this, so disappointed after reading reviews that the pastas were good.
Pasta overcooked, sauce bland & processed chicken; honestly, their service was not good. Called to tell them the problem but they defended the food over what I got. Dont think Ill be ordering here again.

Order comes really fast, every time. We ve been having cocellis for years and have always had a great experience. Food - not just their pizza is delicious. They cater to any allergy you have (im dairy) and give you options. We order delivery and it s never a long wait. 10/10. If you re reading reviews and wondering about this place, im telling you to try it because you won t be disappointed. Dietary restrictions: Dairy Allergy - made without dairy just for me.

Picked out my combo online and tried to place my order, but cant pick my toppings? Yeah, pay for 2 XL pizzas with 3 toppings and well decide what to put on them. Maybe the pizza is good, maybe it isnt. The website is so bad Ill never know. Im not phoning it in, I hate talking to people.

I can honestly say Ive never experienced soggy pizza before until this mess. Im unsure what caused this...perhaps the tomato on top or the extra cheese? The box is soaked right through the cardboard box, its not grease its plain wet soggy wet on the entire bottom of the pizza. I chose this place based on other reviews. What a disappointment, I will NOT be back!

I have been supporting Cocellis and have told everyone they are the best for the past 10 years however the past 4 times I have ordered I get soggy crust I asked for extra well done, extra crispy, extra cooked and it doesnt seem to matter it is a shame because they used to be always amazing I hope someone who manages this listens - sad to say I put it back in the oven to try to save it Otherwise I am sorry you lost a loyal customer

Not only is their pizza fantastic but we had a wedding and we had to cancel our order very last minute due to having too much food and they had no issue with the last minute cancellation! Then we thought we were having issues getting refunded and one of the owners worked with us to get it sorted. It actually turned out that it was not them, it was us - but their customer service was fantastic while sorting it out. We are forever grateful and will be buying our pizza from them forever! The most stingy cheese pepperoni pizza that I have EVER eaten So thin crust, barely any sauce, barely any cheese and only a few slices of pepperoni I cant believe that I paid for that and that they call this a pizza and let their customers go with it thinking theyll eat a good pizza when they get home.
