11 Victoria St, Barrie, ON L4N 6T3, Canada
Wide range of wood-fire pizza recipes, for vegetarians options you can customize and veg recipes are not up to the mark. Tsunami is the best one and pepperoni which can never go wrong. Ambience is above average, sometimes very noisy, although staff is very warm welcoming and friendly. Not much options in pasta, just couple of them. Bit pricy as per their standards. Draft options and cocktails are worth trying.
Best wood oven pizza in the area! Im a vegetarian and often the vegetarian pizza options turn out to be underwhelming, but theirs were delicious! The staff was polite and the atmosphere on a Friday night was quite nice. There is ample of parking and the beach is right across the street.
We waited a considerable amount of time before the wait staff came to take our orders. It was long enough that we debated on leaving. However, as we were deciding where to go next, the wait staff approached. After placing the order, the food came with reasonable timing and it was tasty.
I recently dined at this restaurant and was quite disappointed with the experience. The kid's menu clearly stated that it included both a drink and a dessert, Unfortunately, we didn't receive either. On top of that, their calamari was very poor in quality — it was a small portion and lacked flavour. I cannot recommend this place based on this visit.
Been here a half dozen times as it’s a great spot right beside the waterfront and it has a very dog friendly patio. Food is almost always a 5, though this time it was a 4 only because as delicious as those meatballs look, they were dry. The pizza on the other hand was consistent with past pizzas and a 5 all around. We will definitely be back.
Conveniently located right by the waterfront this place offers the perfect pizza for a hot summer day! Service was great and the pizza was amazing. We tried the Loaded Baked Potato pizza and the Sweet and Spicy pizza, they were a lot bigger than we expected. The prices are totally worth it. I like how they give you your own pizza cutter and let you cut it how you want. They have a patio if you want to enjoy the sun and the inside is nicely air conditioned.
The food was amazing and our server was really nice. We had a view of the park and the lake and plenty of parking. We're excited to come back to try the other pizzas.
Our go to place in Barrie for good pizza! Close to the lake with nice views, their offer delicious pizza’s cooked perfectly in their wood fired oven. There’s vegetarian options available as well. Lots of seating, and parking
Best pizza I have had ...maybe ever.
Came at lunchtime on the weekend. Really good pizza, and some interesting options for vegetarians.
Horrible!
Zero complaints - what an amazing place
Best pizza joint in town! Love the vegilante! Hidden secret if you have kids - they sell pizza kits so you can make the pizza at home.
Omg, some of the best pizza around. Come join us on the patio for pepperoni, cheese, and pints. Enough said!
To be honest. I really really love the pie pizza not because of the service or standard but because of the taste and quality of food. I think they are providing pure and hygiene food to customers and I appreciate that also the service is awesome they treat you like you are friends to them so, I will suggest everyone try the food from pie wood fried pizza joint and I swear you gonna love it also there is free parking available for the customers
The most unique tasted pizza ,I have ever had, must try their pizza,so delicious and the ambiance is super good just in front of centanial beach. The price is bot high due to location but worth it. Highly recommended. Kid-friendliness: Absolutely kids friendly, Wheelchair accessibility: Yes
Mouth watering pizza
My FAVOURITE restaurant ever!!! Food is AMAZING 10/5 (YES - 10 Stars out of 5) Great Service, and I love the atmosphere! There is a few negatives, only because my wife is disabled and the experience was not as enjoyable for her. She loved the food, and service, but being in a wheelchair, there is a ramp, but the top has an uneven curb that makes it difficult to roll over (definitely not smooth). The entrance door does not have buttons/no automatic door, so I held the door for her (tight squeeze - her hands could not be on her wheels to roll in). The worst part was that her wheelchair did not have enough room to get into the ladies washroom. The tight squeeze through the door lead into a wall that she was unable to turn her chair to get in. Luckily I was there to check and stand outside the mens washroom to help her use the facilities. Her chair did manage to get into the mens room after multiple attempts to get around the corner, but the stall (while it is a disabled stall), has an out swinging stall door had to remain open as she had no way to turn her chair in it to close the door. I love this restaurant and have loved every location they used to have from Barrie to Woodbridge, but it could definitely use some reservations to improve the washroom situation for the disabled. I could never give them less than 5 stars as it is too great to rate them less in my eyes, but can still improve in the one area.
Was just ok....nothing amazing
Great location, staff and food is top notch.
I came from toronto for a weekend getaway, and came across pie wood fired pizza, was frikkin soo goodd if i could give 10 stars i would, staff was so kind and welcoming will be back!
Best pizza in the area -Halloumi Pizza was so good
great food, fast service!
Average pizza, with average service. Not very impressed. Food : 3/5
Service was excellent, very friendly and responsive wait staff. Food was underwhelming, unfortunately. I could have sworn this was a chain, but it was not hung like the amazing pizza I had at another place. I was disappointed. The price didnt match the quality in my opinion.
Best Pizza ever. Try the blue cheese and walnut its out of this world.
Very nice patio. Pizza and chicken wings are great.
The Food was super yum and the people we very nice, the only thing was that the crust was a bit overcooked and the food took 1 hour to come to our table. But everything else was very good
According to the menu, the price of 5 bottles of Corona beer is 33 dollars! But when you order outside, they say you must order food along with beer!!! When you order food they add $4 to the price of beer and thats because you take it out!! In fact, this can be described as extortion or something like this !!! In my opinion, never enter this greedy restaurant
Great fresh pizza... Everything on the menu rocks... Head there once a month at least.. Try the salty balls! Food
The absolute worst experience I could have for my 40th birthday...
Came to visit Barrie beach to enjoy last warm days. Came here for dinner due to convenience and reviews. The pizzas were great and location is convenient. Main complaint is with the portion of the kids pasta. The little bowl that is smaller than what a cat probably even eats came with 15 penne pastas in total. Our toddler who by no means eats big portions devoured the pasta within 5 minutes. For $9 before tax I expect a respectable plate portion even for a kids meal. Pizzas were good
You should offer a pizza called YOU HAD ME AT TIFFANY! Id be there every night for dinner! Can almost taste it! Before I die, I want my last meal to be a YOU HAD ME AT TIFFANY pizza! Today, I stopped in for lunch. Saw TIFFANY, lost my train of thought and forgot my name! AND ON THE EIGHTH DAY, GOD CREATED TIFFANY! THANK GOD FOR THE ROLLING STONES, HUGH HEFNER & TIFFANY!
I had the pineapple does belong on pizza cocktail with the Fun Guy with Bacon and it was really good pizza. So much so that I forgot to take a picture of it because I was just so hungry and it looked so delicious. Expect to spend a decent amount here though. My bill came up to just less than $60 with two drinks, a pizza, and two shareables split between six people.
Got take out. The pizza was ok did not find it anything special. The macaroni And cheese was amazing
Amazing experience
In my opinion, the best pizza North of Toronto. The prices are fair, the service is friendly, and the recent change to the decor colour pallet is an improvement over the old yellow. If you like pizza, you need Pie!
Pizza was great Service from holly was great and friendly Food
Had the Hedgehog pizza. So good. And they have Something in the Water craft beers. Maybe the best in Ontario
Really impressed with Pie! Was a random choice while driving through Barrie on our way to Algonquin, and we couldnt have chosen better. Right across from the shoreline, great views from the outdoor seating. Food (pizza) was spectacular, though misleading in that we were counseled that the dimensions of each pizza made them personal (one person) sized. Definitely leftovers for the road! Vegetarian options: Great veggie pizza options! And I think they will customize to suit. Parking: Lot shared with a few other businesses and not huge, but there seemed to be sufficient parking.
Waited too long for a server to come so we had to leave, dined elsewhere
Meh, very hit and miss. Sometines its good and sometimes not. The mestball sliders are awful. The neat is so dry. Ive had better frozen neatballs from the grocery store. The pizza is never consistent. Undercooked on many occasions.
Waitress was petting customers dog and then served us food a couple minutes later. I have doubts that she washed her hand. She also had a few issues remembering order, she should should use tablet or a note book. Food
The food was decent but kind of overpriced for the amount and quality of food. It s definitely a place worth trying or to fill a meal with the family if you just can t decide what to eat. Kid-friendliness: They had a decent kids menu and the kids enjoyed eating the food.
I was hoping to have a pizza and bear, also watch the euro cup 2024 with my friends; however, who worked there last Tuesday around noon time didn t even listen to us and said they don t have TSN which they obviously have from the pictures. + They were not that busy at all.
Really good thin pizza with high quality ingredient. Simple but really tasty!
Thank you for letting me dine on your patio with my dog!!!
Best pizza around.
First time trying their pizza, very good! Fries were regular. Would definitely return to try different types of pizzas!
Not good food and the service was also not good
Over priced, under cooked. Did offer to replace, but my hungry kids didn t want to wait another 30 min for new pizza. Offered a free desert next time we come in. Don t think we will be back.
Great food, nice location , great service. We went to the location in Barrie
Fantastic atmosphere, amazing lake views. Ample tables with the spacing and the layout just right that it doesnt feel crowded despite several customers inside. Pizzas were great! Would return again.
For boasting a local farm to table experience where is your offering for any local wines absolutely none
By far one of the best pizza I have ever had! Excellent service and taste. Highly recommend
Great pizza joint! Nice thin dough!
Very great service, very nice waiters and our Waiter goes by the name cowboy, comfy chairs, the food and drinks were quick to arrive and once you taste the food your mouth is in heaven definitely recommend coming Parking: A ton of parking
Nice family-style restaurant. Pizza dough/crust was perfect. Toppings were just okay. Waiter was friendly and professional.
Used to love this place. Service tonight quickly diminished to the point my childs ice cream was literally tossed in her general direction. After being harassed and accused by the alleged landlord/property manager of not being a customer, wont be returning.
Service and food were excellent. Restaurant itself needs work. You would expect more in terms of atmosphere from an eatery that is located right on Barries waterfront.
Held an after party here for 30 adults plus kids, the staff worked very hard catering to us while still having a full restaurant as well. Could not be happier, the food was amazing, will be coming back. Parking: Directly across from the water front
Our go to place for pizza party in the town. Services is amazing. They do offer some modifications for vegetarians, which is what I love.
Great place great staff and the pizza is delicious a must try.
Great food and the service was amazing. We will definitely come back
Food and customer service is great. Overall excellent experience
Pizza was not smelling like a pizza , it was not sufficient for two person , over priced , pizza over all I will give 1 rating . Parking: The parking person was rude , this was after air show, useless attitude
Love the pizza here. Next best thing when I dont have time to make my own. I would definitely recommend the Porky Pie. Food
If I could give -20 stars I would. First of all the food is WAY overpriced for what you get when there 500 other cheeper pizza places, as well while you are there you have to constantly worry about your vehicle being towed. They have no time limit on the parking there and even if you go in and sit and have a whole meal paying $50+ for food and a drink you better give them your licence plate number to avoid having to pay another $250 to get your vehicle back. I will never attend this establishment ever again and will be sure all of my friends do not either. I went in for lunch and spent over $50 for myself and my disabled client just to have my car towed while I was in the connivence store in the SAME plaza. If you decide to attend this establishment be sure to take a taxi or walk because your $50 meal could turn into a $300 day and a $30 ticket on top of that.
Walked in couldnt even smell wood burning!!! Everything we ordered definitely didnt ever see a smoke oven! When we asked they told us it is smoked, but weve had wood fire oven smoke pizza and wings before, they definitely tasted different! It tasted more like liquid smoke! We wont be back!
Yesterday, my husband went to pick up our take out order for dinner of 2 pizzas and a garlic bread. When he walked in, the staff assumed he was a Skip the dishes employee just because he is of South Asian descent. I found this to be very racist and disrespectful for them to just assume that. They further went on to ask him to give his Skip number for the order when my husband specified he is just here to pick up a take out order they did not apologize. It is absolutely absurd and disappointing for such a big restaurant to present themselves like this.
Absolutely delicious.
We went here during the eclipse, and wouldnt let us sit at the windows....a little strange, but it was their policy. Portions seem small but it was delicious and the server was very polite and prompt.
Great place had good time there staff was friendly and funny I enjoyed watching the kitchen staff there are a riot, dinner and a show lol. Got some great pizza and drinks the pie hard cocktail was so good I enjoyed the hedgehog pizza it was very meaty and spicy loved it Id come here for a party with some friends great atmosphere.
Tasty but expensive. 50 for mid pizza and drink Food
Pizza is always great. The metal chairs are not comfortable.
We ordered pizzas and it was yummy. We waited for 30 minutes just to get coke which was diluted with mostly water. I would really recommend the food here but services were not so good. Vegetarian options: They have 5-6 options for vegetarian pizzas Parking: Parking is only for customers, being managed by the plaza. Kid-friendliness: Yes its kid friendly as well as per friendly
If you are going to Berrie, best place to eat pizza. Smokey wood fire pizza is too good. Location, atmosphere and services are excellent. Try in house beer as well. Food : 5/5 |
Phenomenal pizza!
A tiny bit pricy but the pizza is good! I ordered for a pick up and it was peppered quite fast. No complaints about the quality of food. Parking: Parking is right in front of the restaurant easily accessible from the main road
Best !
If you are vegetarian you have limited options for pizza- Just cheese, Queen Pie, Veggilante pie and you can always customise. We had Veggilante pie pizza and we customised pizza with Tomato sauce, Mozzarella, with black olives, artichoke, pineapple, onions and red bell peppers. We loved the customised pizza but for Veggilante I would give 5/10 as it has more garlic and spinach. They also have good Quesadillas and I would recommend customisation. And for pizza they only have one size. I really liked the customer service and ambiance but found it pricey than what they offer.
The weather was windy Temperatures felt like 2 or 3 deg. From a distance: Wood Fired Pizza was in sight and very welcoming. Upon entering hot chocolate was ordered Hot chocolate came up promptly. Not only just to relieve the coldness but to warm the palms too. The hot and irresistable pizzas followed, with the sauces. Indeed, a treat of a lifetime. Relishing and refreshing. Tiffany was hospitable and surely outstanding!
Great pizza really friendly staff. A very wide selection of beverages
Very tasty pizza and good service, as well as a convenient location (you can walk around the park)
Market priced for Barrie. Excellent thin crust pizza, arrived hot out of oven. One surprise? Asked for some Parmesan cheese, didnt notice until Bill arrived, was charged $3 for a tiny tub! Other places, say pizza hut, waitress comes over and asks if you want some on your za for free. Food
We went there to try their wood oven baked pizza and it was delicious! They have a large selection of pizza, pasta and appetizers. Bonus, they do offer military discounts!
Simply the best pizza ever. Crust was light but absolutely incredible. I wish there were more store locations!
Service, second to none. Food, delicious. Cleanliness, very clean.
Best pizza Ive ever had!
This place could use a reno.
The pizza was cold and had plastic from the prosciutto still on it
Yummy food but the vegan cheese isn t good :( I would recommend that PIE changes the brand of vegan cheese. If you eat plant-based, I would skip the cheese option.
BY far the best Pizza Ive ever had! Even better than anything you can get in Toronto!!!
Great pizza experience overall. We took the Muskoka pie and a veggie one (cant remember the name) as well as some crispy calamari. Really wanted the Porky pie after reading reviews but their prosciutto was over. Anyway, loved the service and quality of food.
I don t have words about the waiter trying to make us run away. Restaurant was empty and hardly any people in the noon and he was just trying to finish up with us asap! I didn t feel good and relax. I felt I have to hurry up eat and run!
Food is amazing, and facility was clean. Staff could have been a bit friendlier but it was a busy weekend so maybe just having a rough night. Overall a good experience and will return.
This is some really fine Pizza. I had heard of it and wanted to see off the hype was real. This is authentic wood oven pizza with to notch ingredients at the perfect ratio.
I stopped in today for lunch. Everything was great. Tiffany was my server and she did everything right. Recommend.
Best pizzeria
One of the better gluten free pizzas I ve had. Nice crispy crust and tasty topping options. It s a bit pricey but for a waterfront place that s not unexpected. Dietary restrictions: Nice gluten free crust with dedicated oven.
A warm place with fresh, top quality products. I recommend the large tables at the back without the view of the port. They are more practical for going to the toilet and above all quieter. A big thank you for this excellent moment.
Always happy with the food. Service is good, nothing that stands out. The restaurant is open concept and can get loud.
Great wood fired pizza with a view of the water!
My mother and I enjoy visiting PIE when I come up north to visit. We enjoyed a thin crust pepperoni pizza and I had a hot chocolate to warm myself up. The atmosphere was pleasant, and family oriented in our section. As it was there were plenty of people out watching the hockey game and enjoying a pizza. Highly recommended pizza joint.
I rate this Pizza a 9 and Ive had the best in the world.in New York (Also a 9)
Great taste and theyre quick!
My sons favorite pizza place. Great wood fired pizza with high quality ingredients. Not particularly cheap, but tasty.
Emily ensured that our visit was exemplary...we will be back!
The pizza is quite delicious, I recommend Tsunami Pizza. The chicken wings are also great. I bought two pounds and ate them happily. Then there is a beach nearby where you can go for a walk. But if you want to dine, you can tell the security guy outside that you don t have to pay the 30 dollars for parking if you want to dine, otherwise they will think you are going to the beach. They will watch you enter the restaurant to make sure you are here to dine.
Great family dinner on the patio. My 11-yr old grandson recommended it as the place to go. Great service. Beautiful view of the waterfront. Ordered six different pizzas... each one was delicious. Went again! As good as the first time. This time, had my little Spaniel in the car. We were nicely accommodated on the patio, with a fresh bowl of water for Beau.
Experience was a pleasure. Pizza was great , definitely recommend people to try the pie /pizza.
Overall not good. Overpriced for what you get. My chicken sandwich had maybe 4 tiny pieces of chicken per side, I would have said something but no one asked how our meal was so..... I also noticed on my bill I was charged 3 dollars to change from goat cheese to another cheese.... No mention of that either. The bathroom was filthy and so were the walls, there is alot of staff standing around when you walk in so Im not sure why it was so dirty. I dont think I would bother going back.
Good beach pizza. Would not go out of my way to eat there, but when I am at the beach it works.
Caution! Racialism Barrie Domino s How racist place and horrible customer service. They just want to serve white if you are different colours, PLEASE DO NOT GO THERE TO AFFECT YOUR MOOD. Today, there were many empty tables; however, their staff send me and my wife (third trimester)in front of the washroom. How poor service. We took some time to review the menu, a staff who was doing decorations and speaking on the phone very loudly and shouting around our table. Terrible atmosphere in that moment. Therefore, we requested to change our seat to outdoor patio. An outdoor waitress was so rude. Actually, she wanted to send us out because of our changing table behavior. So only way we should leave. Anyway, here is good for pure white, not for colour visitors. Luckily, we didn t waste our money in here, thanks for your staff to show us how operational style of owner you give to your potential customers. We all know you don t care about our feelings because colour isn t not right. Overall, for the pizza, Domino s service is more better than this store. This store advantage is only location. Barrie has plenty of nice restaurants, don t waste your money in racialism.
Love their pizzas!
Would definitely stick to the pizzas if you are being budget conscious
Got gluten free pizza take out. Very good but really expensive for a gluten free pizza ($30) for the Chuck Norris. Worth it for the yummy pizza though :)
Came here with a friend for lunch, it wasn t overly busy so we were seating pretty quickly but other than that service wasn t very great. Our drinks came fairly quickly but our food took quite a while. We both were not overly impressed by the lack of attention the waiter had to our table. We were sat at a stick table without menus. Overall the quality of food was good and prices are fair but the service was very slow and spacey.
Dropped in for dinner on the weekend. Food was great and the service was good. Will definitely be back!
Our table ordered 3 different pizzas, all very good & lots of leftovers! Mobility friendly, lots of parking & some table seating. Too many high tables with stools that are very uncomfortable for people to sit on for any length of time & remain comfortable. Overall good food, well be back!
Amazing pizza!! Patio concerts WAY YOO LOUD for shift workers living nearby. Please kindly reconsider the volume for your community and patrons. Food : 5/5 |
One of my favourite pizza joints. Always hot and fresh with homemade tasting tomato sauce. The wings are meaty and crispy. Salads are fresh as is the draught beer. Never had a bad server , they are well trained and seem to really enjoy working there
First time going & loved it! Would recommend! Cowboy was our server and was super patient and personable! Spinach dip was delish! Pizzas are fresh, not greasy, get to cut your own slices! 15$ for a full pizza ! Reasonably priced! Tomato sauce homemade! Great atmosphere and nice patio by the waterfront!
Parking: They have parking Food
I need to go back and have a Pizza....but what I did have I enjoyed. The wings are baked so not crispy but very tasty. The spinage dip I also enjoyed. I was there for the music so Ill have to try the pizza next time. Service was excellent.
This place is a joke i would never go there the owner doesnt knows a single thing about customer service
Menu somewhat limited and some items have changed, fries are not as good as they used to be and it is expensive, but I guess everywhere is now.
It is a rare pizza place that is able to handle my wifes soy allergy, but The Pie has always been great. And very tasty! Highly recommended!
Limited menu with skimpy toppings. Its OK but I was disappointed
Yummy pizza!! great veggies options
Our server was great and funny as well! I got the GDC pretty much cheesy bread with bacon. It was really good! Gluten free items on menu as well!
Love Pie pizza, one of my favourite pizza places!
What an experience!! The view, the service and the pie was amazing. Cant wait to come back again! Thank you Food
Pizza was honestly not gonna lie but (personal opinion) one of the best pizzas I had. I had no complaints at all. I tried the chuck Norris, hedge hog and pepperoni and they all were great. I also had a white sangria and it was really good.
We came with our dog and sat on the patio and had a great time! Beautiful view of the water and pizza was fantastic!
My favorite place in barrie
Awesome food. Service is bit slow. Love the place.
Food was ok served cold when I asked server to heat it up she rudely said it ll get contaminated I was ok with it .on the time of bill she asked for high tip .it s my choice how much should I tip so wired experience no recommendations . I don t remember server name but she had braces . Will never ever visit this place .thanks u for ruining my night
I had a great birthday party here, thanks guys The food was amazing aswell as the apps Food
Pizza was very good. Chairs are uncomfortable. Had to ask for napkins 2x
Excellent pizza excellent service .. definitely 5 stars
Always a great experience when we come visit.
Great pizza with lots of refined choices! Highly recommended! Vegetarian options: Many choices. Dietary restrictions: Different types available, attention to allergies and intolerances. Parking: Customers only.
Great Pizza, friendly staff, and an awesome view!
Two pizzas came a lil late, but the quality of the food was devine. Thx pie for a great family meal
A little loud but great pizza.
Enjoyed coffee and desserts. Served by a lovely lady who we chatted to about Barrie and the surrounding area. We were visiting from the UK.
Straight garbage. Pizza tasted like metal somehow, no clue how that s even possible. The pasta tasted like watered down tomato sauce with loads of salt. The water tastes normal although. Food
Absolutely fabulous food.was on tight schedule but food was served fast hot and delicious Will go again Food
I always go to the Pie when were visiting family. The server was great, friendly and greeting. The food is delicious, but Id love to try a poutine pie. Hint hints
Enjoyed meatball sliders and Muskoka Pie. Very attentive service. Lighting could be a little less bright for a more intimate/cozier atmosphere.
Up on the lakefront near downtown Barrie lies the heart of this pizza joint. Their pizzas had thin crust all around which I liked but to put it plainly, the food was average. Nothing bad about it and nothing outstanding, simply what you would expect from a pizza. It s a similar quality to a thin crust chain brand at a relatively expensive price point.
This place was the best restaurant I ve been to! I went in August and I loved their Pizza and Mac and Cheese especially. I recommend this to anyone who s on vacation in Barrie or lives there locally or for any other reason I didn t mention. It s so good. :))
We were a party of 4 and were seated at a high top table for 8, a large group came in after seated there for 5 minutes and were kicked out of our table and made to wait at the bar until another table came available. Server was rude, and manager (in a cowboy hat) repeated the same line without checking or listening to us. We were at the opening night of our many years ago and usually service is great. I hope this is not a sign it is decline. (Someone who has eaten here 50+ times). We were made to feel what they said was an error was our fault. A dissapointing night!
They are the right opposite to shorelines with dedicated parking. There wasnt any wait for tables when we arrived for dinner. They were attentive and quick to correct when they messed up the order. Taste was just okay. We had a simple cheese pizza and sizzling brownie ( I was expecting to serve it on a skillet ).
It s a really great place. One of the first places I ate at when I moved to the area. The topping combinations make it a really unique experience. Definitely get the salty balls!
Ordered two salads for takeout. They were tiny, and were missing more than half the ingredients listed on the menu. Also way over priced. $36 for 2 salads slightly larger than an iphone
