I have went to this place multiple times. they always greet you at the door and make you feel welcomed. They always ask you if you were a new customer or returning one. The service is always quick to take empty plates off the table and refill water when needed. Food quality is good never had a problem good place

I don't usually review restaurants like Madarin, which is all you can eat, but I'm going to dedicate a few words for this one, is not my Frist time to visit a Mandarin, and is not a really especial experience, except for this one, so I must say, congratulations!! Today was my first time to Mandarin Restaurant in Barrie. The food was fresh and delicious, the environment was beautiful, and the service was great! Special thanks to Ms. Li, Ms. Vivian and Ms. Noi who worked in Room A!
Even though it was super busy being Canada Day event and it being Mandarin’s 45th anniversary. Everything was organized and controlled. The food was amazing just like any other day, no difference. The service was wonderful, very friendly staff. The manager even came out to give bubbles to the kids who were in the line. 100% would recommend this location.
Mandarin restaurant is a true gem! The food is outstanding, with delicious sushi and mouthwatering sliders. The ambiance is welcoming, and the service is impeccable. The staff is attentive and knowledgeable, making our dining experience exceptional. Highly recommend for both special occasions and casual meals. Five stars!
I am a person who loves to eat, I like to try a little of everything, and Mandarin always exceeds my expectations, the waiters are friendly and are always close to customers in case they need something! There will always be a selection for all tastes. Also if you want to celebrate a birthday the staff will take a picture for you and your group…. The owner will take the time to come table by table to check on you. I recommend Mandarin, Barrie...

Went to the Mandarin today, December 19th. Had a great lunch, wonderful service. Especially of note, Hari V and Ben Samundra were incredibly friendly and attentive, refilling our water, removing plates when we were finished, and greeting us warmly when we arrived. Would highly recommend the Mandarin for their varied and delicious food, wonderful service and overall value.

I have not eaten at the Mardarin in years. I stopped going before the pandemic as the quality of the food had gone way done. But I had a dinner meeting there recently and took my partner with me. I really didnt have any expectations. I found the staffing impressive, they are all very friendly. The food has gotten why better. Its still very tight for seating, but that is manageable. Its a bit loud, but again, everyone is in their own bubble, talking with each other. I wish they would change up their chicken balls to something that tastes less manufactured.
I was really Surprised at the quality & quantity of choices at the Mandarin restaurant in Barrie Ontario. I went to Mandarin with 10, or so, of my work associates. We all enjoyed the fare. A big SURPRISE recommendation from each and every one who attended our holiday feast. Thank you, Mandarin Vegetarian options: Lots of choices Parking: Dont get too full for desert. Mandarin has the best Bread Pudding !

To me this is the best Mandarin I ever had. I drive for 2 hrs to get to this location. Better selection, super tasty everything and always consistent.
Absolute favourite restaurant and location!! No complaints whatsoever. Staff are next-level friendly. The only thing I will say is ensure you call ahead and make a reservation, and get there early as there is barely any parking.

I was just at your Barrie location last night and I was not happy at all. I ordered one of your xmas drinks which stated terrible so I asked for it to be fixed and after getting it wrong 3 times, it was served to me in a glass that was chipped and cracked. I know you guys were swamped but I couldve gotten hurt, had a not been using a straw or the chip couldve been in my drink. We were still charged for the drink even!! Not happy at all!!
Very nice place, food is as expected, consistent and plenty. Theyre definitely on top of refreshing the food trays. Staff are friendly and the place is well maintained. Plenty of parking and conveniently close to the highway.
HARIV, SANSAR and KAILER were the best servers. Very attentive, friendly and professional. The food was hot and delicious. The restaurant is clean and operates with exceptional efficiency. Bathrooms were clean.

Excelent service, great food quality they always do wonders with the salmon and the ribs, not to mention the shrimps. The managers are always paying attention and the waitress / waiters are always focus on the job and prompt to help. Really outstanding.

The customer service as always was nothing short of amazing. Friendly and quick to help. The food was good. They had a good verity of foods. Restaurant was clean. What I love most is that each dish has what kind of meat in it very helpful for those who don t eat pork. Kid-friendliness: The waitress made sure my son experience was fun and welcoming.
Chicken balls had no chicken, there was no lo mein or chow mein, or chicken fried rice yet they had pizza and burgers. Theres a last time for everything

Went there over the weekend. The owner came to introduce herself. The food was exceptionally fresh, the line at the front was moving super fast and efficiently. Overall the best experience I ve had at a mandarin in a long time!!

Tonight was our 1 st time and it was hands down AMAZING. From the greeting, to our seating, to the food and beyond. Everything looked and smelled so fresh and everything we ate was delicious. The owner even stopped by to welcome us. Tina was a sweetheart. Thank you for an amazing evening.
Mandarin has always been our go-to place for celebrating birthdays, and we ve had great experiences in the past. Unfortunately, this time was a complete letdown. We came for a 50th birthday dinner expecting the same high standard, but were disappointed from the start. Despite the buffet being advertised to close at 9 PM, by 8:15 PM, the grill was already closed, and buffet items were being removed without being replenished. To make matters worse, much of the food that was still available was cold and tasted old. At $41.00 per adult, we expected much better. Paying full price for a subpar experience left us feeling cheated. Mandarin used to be a place we trusted for special occasions, but after this experience, we will be taking our future business elsewhere.

We love our visits to the Barrie Mandarin! The food is always fabulous! The staff are always very attentive and nice. The host gave us great advice. He recommended that in future, when making our reservation, we can let them know that I m handicapped and they will make sure to seat us near the entrance to the room we are seated in so it s easier to maneuver my walker. It hadn t crossed our minds and we appreciate that tip. The restaurant and facilities are always spotless. The vast selection of fresh food pleases everyone in our group. Nothing negative to ever report. Thanks for the great food and service at the Barrie Mandarin!!

Long wait times if you dont make a reservation but absolutely worth it! Theres a food option for everyone, pleasant experiences both times Ive been. The host(ess) deal with some unnecessary behaviours but remained professional the entire wait time.

The food was excellent, but the pepper steak was so spicy & hot it was almost inedible. So much choice & selection it really is incredible!. But, this location needs a serious facelift or Barrie needs a 2nd Location. Its ridiculously busy & the washroom size is inadequate for the amount of people who eat here. Also, we reserved for 28 people & we werent really together we were scattered about. A little bit of a disorganized mess but we made the best of it. Other than that I liked it. Would I come again? Sure... But, theres so many other restaurants in Barrie to try. If you love Buffets this is the one to be at.

Food is always plentiful and delicious!! The servers work hard and do their best to keep everyone happy Although there was a 20 minute wait for our table for 2, it is always worth the wait!! We will keep coming back to this location (Barrie) for excellent food and service!
