Went here for dinner last night Caitlyn was our waitress. She was super kind and very friendly, 10/10 service. Food was super delicious also!

I had an amazing experience at Milestones in Barrie tonight! Our server, Cindy, provided absolutely outstanding service. She was friendly, attentive, and her recommendation of the butternut squash ravioli was spot on it was delicious! The food overall was excellent, and the atmosphere was perfect for a date night. Cindy truly made the evening extra special with her warmth and professionalism. Highly recommend this location and be sure to ask for Cindy if you go!

Food is just average nothing special!

Unfortunately Im not one to write a bad review unless something really strikes me as off and comments we received at dinner here on Sunday did just that. Our family of 6 spent the entire day at Wonderland and decided to stop at Milestones for dinner on the way home. The first comment was when we entered and were asked if we had a reservation. We said no and she sighed and rolled her eyes. She left and came back and said I guess we can sit you in the bar area. Rough start but okay.. our main waitress came by and gave us our menus. We had asked if we could order drinks and she said she was too busy with a table of 20 and would come back. Eventually one of us found her upstairs and reminded her that we still needed drinks. The food itself was good besides some meals looked like it had Sat for a little while as the rest of it was cooking. The real kicker for us was one of the ladies who brought out our food and was seeing if everything was okay randomly dropped a...joke? Saying originally she was concerned about us being a dine and dash but now she wasnt. Excuse me??.. Sure we werent dressed nice and we were tired. We had just spent the whole day at Wonderland!! I was gobsmacked by this comment. There were other little comments thrown in throughout the night but Im not going to break it all down. We felt so uncomfortable and looked down on/over that we all said we will never return to this restaurant again.

Good food and great service. Prices are on the high side but not crazy.

We ordered appetizers/entrees at the same time - appetizers came promptly. We had tickets for an event so we had to cancel the entrees after waiting for 45+ mins. For the record, Stacey was amazing and a 10/10 server.

Absolutely loved the food. It was delicious. Unfortunately, my wife has ARFID and there were things that were on her burger which was not listed on the menu (it is in the picture, but she missed that). My wife asked for adjustments according to what was on the menu (no sauce) and did not ask to exclude things that she wasnt aware of being on the burger (tomato, onion, lettuce). When it arrived, my wife requested a small side plate so she could disassemble her sandwich. Once the plate arrived, I helped her disassemble it, and it was fine, did not need to be remade or anything. She (my wife) explained to the waitress that this was entirely her (my wifes) own fault, and she wasnt mad or upset. She just requested the small plate of veg be taken away because she did not want it. It was at this point that a waitress who had been very pleasant and helpful suddenly got unpleasant. While her words were fine, she started ending every sentence in a weird sneer and would *pointedly* double check if my wife was *sure* she wanted any further orders (Coke, extra water, desert) the way she had requested them. It was entirely unnecessary, but luckily the food was good enough that this poor attitude could not bring down our celebration. When my wife went to the washroom while I waited for the check, the waitress suddenly changed tones and started treating me with *pity*, which seemed to imply to me that she assumed I was embarrassed or burdened by my wife, which made me pretty mad, but since it was all tone and implications, not something outright said, I felt like it would have just made a scene to try tell her off. Anyway, I REALLY like the restaurant, but I think Ill stick to other locations for a while, because I dont need to deal with service like that. My wife was so incredibly respectful and polite, there was no reason for this woman to get so spiteful because of a brief hiccup in the dining experience. Vegetarian options: I saw that there are vegetarian options on the menu. I didnt pay much attention to them, so I dont know how good they are. Dietary restrictions: They do ask about allergies, which I appreciate, but if you do have any *other* food sensitivities or issues, you probably need to ask them for more exact details on the food, since the menu can leave off details. Parking: Plenty of spots Wheelchair accessibility: I noticed there was a lot of wide paved space with gentle ramps up to the door of the building. The inner portion of the restaurant is down some stairs, but there is also an outer ring of tables on the main floor. This is where we were sat and involved no steps to get to.

As someone with food sensitivities, I truly appreciate the plant-based menu options at Milestones. Their vegan mushroom soup is DELICIOUS (so is their torte dessert) and keeps me coming back for more! The service is great and it is always a pleasant dining experience with server Cindy. She is warm and friendly, attentive, and very patient with listening to and accommodating my food sensitivities. As a returning customer, it feels good to have a regular server who remembers the little details.

To start my chair and table had crumbs on it from the last customer. There was also a napkin on a chair from the last customer. Service is good, but orders were not perfect. Some came with the wrong meat or pasta type. Our order took around an hour. It seems they were short staffed. My ramen bowl order tasted horrible and I had to send it back. They replaced it and didn t charge me for the original. We ve been going to this location once a year for anniversaries for years. It seems the quality has gone down hill.

Cindy, our server at the Barrie Milestones was wonderful! She was able to arrange for the bartender to make a drink I requested that wasn t on the menu. I have been twice to this Barrie location, most recently was yesterday. Both times the food was excellent, but we were fortunate to have the same server, Cindy L! Cindy was friendly, helpful and very attentive. Yesterday she recommended the Steak & Noodle Salad. Based on her recommendation, we all ordered the same dish, and not one of us was disappointed. The steak was tender, and cooked to specifications. The entire meal was delicious. One of my friends requested a very specific type of martini, and Cindy made sure to return to make sure the drink met my friend s expectations. My next visit to your location, I will request being seated in Cindy s section if she is working.

Taste of the old country wit a modern flare. The Asiago Chicken Penne was light wit the garlic zing mamma used to talk about back in Vienna. The Thai Chicken bowl was top notch and tasted like a healthy dessert wit each honey encrusted bite. Chow

I was there last night ordered the chicken wings were under cooked The table was sticky . They ran out of kids cups so thier drink split glass was to big for them . I found this restaurant to be very under staffed !! We waited a good 10 min before order was taken . I never review on these apps but I was that displeased .

I ended up trying her special house-made margarita, and it was hands down one of the best I ve ever had refreshing, well-balanced, and just the right amount of zest. I hate to admit it, but Im picky and like to customize my food selection, and Ive never had any issue with the food or changing up the menu item. The food which I always order the same item always comes out perfect I swear the cooks have my pic posted and say guys our portobello mushroom chicken girl is here..lol hold the mushrooms and add mashed potatoes extra mashed and sauce lol...all kidding aside besides the food the staff make all the difference and Ive been to several other locations and this locations by far exceeds them all. The staff which Ive had the honor of being served by Amanda who I absolutely think very highly of her attention to detail her great personality and amazing work ethic..love having her serve me.. I was there today to grab some take out got to sit and joke with Ali who got my order spot on..thanks Ali for putting up with picky lady. Lol and even a server sorry hun cant remember your name a beautiful blonde whos headed to Spain for vac..who has served me ones but knew me right away.. Besides good food a restaurants back bone are those who work there and have us customers coming back for more...This Milestones nails it so thank you team for all your hard work and putting up with customers like myself. Lol job well done..

Nice atmosphere, food is good but way too overpriced. I appreciated the service and I enjoyed the bit of food I ate, but not worth the cost.

You can see how terrible the management is when they dont even respond to reviews...... I took my wife to Milestones on our 24th wedding anniversary and we were extremely disappointed. The place was so HOT!!! I think they had the heat on and it was over 30 degrees. The server brought me a room temperature beer which was warm in about 2 minutes. We were sweating so much we couldnt even enjoy our food. I had to hold a napkin to my forehead just so I would stop dripping into my food. No explanation from management or anyone else.. I feel like management really dropped the ball on this one, we should have been told about the extreme heat before we were seated. When I got home I was so dehydrated I passed out. The staff is great for having to work in this environment, management should be replaced.

Milestones had lost me a while back.. but the location in Barrie is awesome. The food has been revamped with lots of choices. Our bartender/server Amanda was awesome and made my date night a great one. I/we will be back! :) Food

Beautiful layout with many types of seating options. We were a very large party of 20+ people. We had gone for Brunch/Breakfast and theyre menu for that is not very big but our servers, Lindsay and Caitlyn, were super accommodating to my needs. It definitely was not a busy spot for a Sunday morning brunch so would definitely recommend here for a large party at this time of day!

Service was not good. Was NOT busy at all as it was a Tuesday night; Took 20 minutes to even be greeted, once food came our server didn t come to check at all so we had empty drinks and wanted dessert. When we did catch her nearby, she wouldn t even look at us so we could not get her attention for anything we needed. Asked a hostess to grab our server and still somehow took another 15 minutes. Have also heard from many others that the service has a poor reputation at this location.

Service is horrible. Takes forever to get a wait staff and once you get one it takes forever for the food to arrive. The entire experience is just a waste of time. Just leaves a bad taste when you leave the place. Many options out there just wont be back.

I enjoy milestones I think they have a good selection and variety of quality food. I personally enjoyed the food I received but I did have a bit of an issue with my most recent experience . When asked about dietary restrictions and allergies the server seemed to be a bit confused as to what a vegan dietary restriction would contain of. Further clarifying to him that the diet consists of a no meat no egg no dairy restriction. I am not vegan by my girlfriend is. We come to milestones knowing they have a specific plant based menu that will accommodate her dietary restrictions. Trying to find an appetizer that we can both split it seemed like it may have been possible to order the bruschetta and prepare it without dairy as the only dairy item listed on the menu was Asiago which we asked for me on the side. The bread is without egg and dairy, the remaining ingredients listed were olive oil basil garlic tomatos onion and garlic. When confirming with our server that this dish could be made to accommodate my girlfriend s dietary restriction he confirmed it will be dairy free and suitable for her to eat and share with me as an appetizer. Firstly, I did order a starter salad that seemed to have come out well before our bruschetta that we would be sharing. I eat my salad it was fantastic although I don t exactly enjoy eating in front of my date who is already more hangry than I was. The bruschetta came out after I had already finished my salad and looked absolutely fantastic. As we are sharing the app she seemed to notice a taste in Parmesan cheese which is no where to be found on the menu ingredients and ruins her appetite as now she has mixed feelings on eating the bruschetta and didn t feel confident that what she was eating didn t contain dairy. She waits nearly 5 minutes to get a server to check in and see if everything is good. When bringing to his attention there may be parm and to confirm if there is, this took about another 5 minutes before coming out and letting us know there is in fact Parmesan in it. Now imagine how hangry my girlfriend is as she just saw me eat my salad and now I have to eat her pieces of bruschetta that she could not eat . To make it right the server offered to take it off the bill which in my mind felt like it s an effort to try to correct our experience but in reality my girlfriend is not happy at all which makes for a bad night for me too. Our mains come out and they are great but this is where things get weird. We have no room for dessert and our server decides to push a dessert on my girlfriend in which she had 0 interest in having but it was a nice gesture to try and make things right . The problem was when we received the bill we had noticed the bruschetta still on it and my girlfriend was fuming at the fact this experience was handled so poorly. Im an easy breezy guy who is quite easy to serve and please at restaurants . I don t normally like to give these poor reviews . After last night and the way my girl was rattled at the experience I had to write this review because the dessert didn t make it right the service was very underwhelming and the handling of our problem was completely botched. It really is a shame because I do see so much potential in this particular milestones location but it seems like after many not so great experiences this would have been the one that never brings us back.

Food was good but the service was idiotic from the hostess to the server. Arrived at 5pm, lots of seating & family of 4 ahead got seated. We were told (party of 2) the kitchen isnt staffed enough so wed have to wait 15min. 3 other couples comes in behind us. Ok np so we asked if we could sit in the bar. Bar waitress comes over & takes our drink order. Next couple (who came in behind us) sits in bar & asks to order food, waitress says yes. wth! So we ask the bar waitress if we can order & she says no if your going to be seated in the dining area it confuses the staff. So then we asked if its a different kitchen that cooks for the bar patrons vs dining room & she said its the same kitchen, so we asked then why can the people behind us order food but we have to wait 15 min? The 2 other couples who arrived after us get called into the dining room so we asked whats going on. Finally they realized their oops and seat us but now the restaurant is full. How did all these people arrive & get seated before us? We asked our waitress to speak to the manager, she said she did but no manager showed up to speak with us. This was our first visit to Milestones and it will be our last. Not impressed by their lack of organization & fluff off.

Delish meals, happy hour pricing is decent

Its fun to think about how you could have spent half the money at Costco, grilled your own burgers, and had more fun at home.

Every aspect of this lunch combo was delicious.

Here for a birthday dinner and I will do my best to never return. $21 for the Korean short rib appetizer (three tiny short ribs) that took over an hour to arrive... they took so long my main course showed up at the same time. If they weren t absolutely delicious I d be more upset. (Another person in our group also waited so long for her main course that everyone was close to finished by the time she got it). Bottom line is don t come here unless you have 2.5 hours or more. Oh and don t get the sweet chilli chicken bowl $30 for chicken nuggets, overcooked rice, and soggy wonton crisps is brutal.

We enjoy coming here. The service has always been good and friendly, the food has never disappointed, and their patio is quite nice. (I mean you see busy Mapleview, but it still feels tucked away enough) Kid-friendliness: We bring our kids often and theyve always enjoyed their meals

This milestones location is definitely one Id recommend. The entire restaurant itself is laid out very well and gives off rustic modern vibes. The food here is great, is always made with care and is made exactly how youve requested. Every time I come here the staff are courteous and always listen to your specific needs/wants. I personally really enjoy the food and the atmosphere at Milestones so I will definitely be back.

A very disappointing experience. My husband made reservations for our anniversary because we have always had a wonderful experience at other locations. From start to finish, with the exception of the actual food, it was nothing like any Milestones we have dined at. The Park Place Milestones service and atmosphere is like a dinner experience. There is very little attention to detail, a rushed atmosphere, loud, and definitely, this location isnot a place to be considered as fine dining. I could go on but I will leave it at that. Very disappointing.

Rob was a great waiter but he works for the wrong establishment. My wife and I had dinner there and my burger was good, her steak was good, but my fries and her garlic mash potatoes were extremely salty. It took a long time to come out and we were a 5pm sit down with hardly anyone there. Maybe a kitchen shift change? I dunno Anyways, the restaurant looks tired (ripped booth seat...hostess didnt really care when it was mentioned) and the bathrooms were NOT good. Manager needs to be on top of things!

A great experience my husband and I had on Saturday night. The service was excellent, our server Lisa was absolutely amazing. Made sure our allergies were covered, and we had all we need. Atmosphere was great, we were welcomed with warm smiles all around. We had the wham bam shrimp as an appetizer and both shared the chicken pesto penne as our main. Overall will definitely be back!!!!

Milestones Restaurant on Park Place is our go to place. Had a great time with my family this weekend! Host greeted us welcoming and friendly and found a table for us very fast. Server took our order right away and brought our drinks super quick . The food was delicious , I had a Ramen Bowl with short ribs (it was bomb!!), my hubby had a new salmon tuna bowl (might be my fav dish on the menu now) and our friend had a tuna tartare (fish tasted very fresh and a bit spicy just how we like it.) Will definitely be back again, take all my money !!

Have been to many milestones over the years. I have always been used to awesome service and great food.We Make a reservation for our wedding anniversary. When making the reservation, made sure to Ask for a nice table to celebrate this milestone. Upon showing up, we were asked if we would like a table on the bar side. Whoever took our reservation did not make notes or the person seating us did not look at those notes. After changing seats, to a more appropriate table, are wine glasses were dirty cutlery was dirty, and server was less than competent, At one point, she actually threw the straws on the table, Very unprofessional, I could go on. But I think Ill just leave it at that, very disappointed and our Last trip to this Establishment. Edit- going to give it one more try...stay tuned

Interesting unique food that tastes great. The menu seems to change somewhat frequently, but the food choices always seem to be pretty good. We went for lunch and had items from their lunch menu.

My mother and I came here for our first visit and everything was exceptional! Our server Kaitlin was knowledgeable, proficient, friendly and absolutely great! The manager Riley the manager brought our dessert and checked on everything which was fantastic. Thank you all for such a great experience!

We went there today when it was 30 degrees and inside the restaurant was extremely hot too to the point that my husbands head was driping sweat like there is no tomorrow, felt like being in Mexico, we were just there tho, even Mexico wasnt this hot, told our waitress Kaitlyn, she said she talked to the manager and manager apologies and said theres something wrong with air conditioner, but Kaitlyn was a sweetheart, she apologies many times and was very nice polite and kind, I would give her 5 out of 5.

Milestones is always a go-to place for a casual meal on the patio or celebrating for a fine dining dinner. I had the sandwich trio for lunch, and its always a perfect option.

Came here yesterday for a bday celebration. The area they put us in was off to the side and a perfect location! Our food was delicious, but the server had a bit of an attitude, and seemed quite grumpy. We went to order drinks, and she walked away while one of the girls was talking and said I ll be right back and same with when we tried to order our food. We got there at 6 o clock and did not get our dinner until 730. We did have a couple apps but our food took 45 minutes and then the birthday girls burger was burnt. It was refired And she did not have to pay for it, which was nice, and they also offered us some desserts. They had a vegan dairy free dessert to. We just wish that our waitress was a little bit more friendly and attentive. She didn t even say thank you or wish us a good night. Our calamari was great though, cheesecake was delicious. Portobello mushroom chicken amazing!

None of the lights over the stalls were on, people just urinated on the toilet seats, no or very little toilet paper. I mentioned this to our server who said she would tell someone. Checked an hour later and nothing had been done. When we arrived the server mentioned that the restaurant had been slammed over lunch hour so this could be part of the problem. In reality, this is something that the management should have looked after whether they clean it or appoint someone to do it. This place has pretty good reviews so perhaps this was just an aberation.

Went here for a business lunch earlier today. Everyone enjoyed the food! I had the half rack of ribs with grilled shrimp .... Delicious! Our server was great and attentive. Cheers!

3 of us for dinner. I had sweet chili chicken. It was very good. Could have been more vegetables. My husband had a 7 ounce steak with mashed potatoes and veg. The potatoes were delicious. The steak was very small and needed seasoning. Underwhelming. My mother in law had the same steak and was disappointed with all of it. Prices are very high for what you get. Be prepared to pay $$$$$

Unfortunately we experienced the worst service. 15 of us were there for my wifes birthday and although the food was outstanding, the service was horrible. We were so neglected by our server we were going to the bartender to order our drinks to take back to our table. We were there for 3.5 hours and not because we were dragging it out. I have never experienced such slow service before at a restaurant. Once our orders were in the food and drinks came quick. So all the other functions of the restaurant were working fine. It was just out server. And then at the end we were forced to pay a 20% tip because we were a reservation according to their policy. Maybe that was the problem. No incentive to try. No problem. Never again. The overall valued experience here is very poor if you are unfortunate to get a bad server. Putting our server a side, the overall valued experience here is great. Sometimes thats all it takes. Just one person to ruin the experience. Its the Keg Steakhouse for us next time.

Fantastic staff. Friendly and attentive.

We both ordered pasta. The shrimp and scampi pasta tasted liked a premade frozen meal microwaves. The pesto penne with chicken was marginally better but very little chicken. We did not order drinks and our final bill with tip $77. I get that inflammation exists but seriously for the qualityof the food......very disappointed.

Do not pay attention to my review on the food as I did not order any. The waitress was completely unattentive. We tried to flag her down for 40 minutes without success to order drinks. Eventually we figured out it was faster just to leave our table, go to the bar to get a drink and come back. The kicker was that she added a 20% tip to everybodys bill at the end. To any management reading this, we were at the large table to the right of the door when you first walk in the front door. We were there on Saturday February 10th. At $11 a drink, I would have expected better service!

It was a busy Valentines Night for restaurants. We went to a different restaurant first but after waiting for almost an hour there and rude service, we bailed and chose Milestones. Regretted why we didnt just put Milestone as our #1 choice. Anyway, We were so happy we got seated in less than 5 minutes of being there despite their reservation list. Friendly and professional. Food was , 5 Delicious We ordered the Backribs Trio and their baby back ribs just falls off the bone. Worth it! Wagyu Beef Meatloaf And one of the Valentines special Grilled Shrimp Amazing. And we had the Milk Chocolate Cheesecake for dessert. We wanted to try the Dulce de Leche Cheesecake too but we were stuffed. On the list for next time!!!

We went here on New Year s Eve without a reservation. The food was incredible and the service was above what I could have expected. Matt who works in the bar was an incredible server and made our experience so great. I highly recommend.

I ordered a dish that turned out to be very spicy. I, unfortunately, have little tolerance for spice and was unable to eat it. The waitress became hostile and left with the dish. The only thing that saved the experience is that the manager came out, was super nice, and talked me into another dish that was amazing! The service continued to be poor, but my husband and I were much happier with the outcome than we expected to be.

Great dinner experience!

Took 2 hours to get our food, we were all freezing cold and the server and manager just seemed annoyed that we asked when the food would come out very unprofessional.

Went thru 2 servers. Waited 1 1/2 hours for our food. When the salads came they were wilted, soggy as if sitting waiting for the rest of the order. We had children and asked for their food first...never happened. My 8 year old Grandson had to leave for his Hockey game with nothing as they couldnt manage the chicken fingers and fries. The manager came over all attitude like and was awful, couldnt handle the situation. Blamed the kitchen. Also had to eat with our coats on as the table is right next to the doors, too crammed. Terrible experience.

Food was amazing & the server Diarmuid was awesome. But I couldn t really see my food because it was too dark. & they also gave me a free dessert for my birthday. (White chocolate cheesecake was magnificent) They truly deserve more than just 5 stars.

I don t even know where to start on how terrible our experience last night was. Half the drinks were served, others never showed until we asked. 3 out of 5 meals were not edible. Everything was over salted to where you couldn t even eat it. Our ribs were complete mush. Absolutely disgusting. My kids got the cookie sundae and took one bite and said this tastes funny. So we tried it. Cookie was terrible, ice cream was full of ice like it was freezer burnt. So disappointed in the food quality. Our server was very nice he apologized for the bad service and food. He was overly busy and couldn t tend to us as needed. Definitely won t be returning, the food was SO bad.

In a time where service and food quality has declined, Milestone Barrie put confidence back in restaurant dining. The food was amazing and service was excellent. The server was on his game Great personality mixed with precision. To top it off, the GM came over and had a personal conversation. She introduced us to her daughter who is the manager who took the time to chat it up about family. They all made the experience comfortable and personable. They made us feel as though they wanted us there. Which is very rare nowadays. Amazing job from the greeter, to server, to GM to manager to kitchen staff. I will definitely be back to milestone Barrie and definitely recommend.

Great service tonight. Elizabeth greeted us at the front door and let us know that Billy would be our server and that the manager was Jennifer this evening. The service from Billy was amazing and the food was fantastic as well. The manager Jennifer came over and talked to us for a while. Loved our experience here we will definitely return! The staff was wondering, every person I spoke to was super friendly, the food was quicker then expected and tasted amazing.

Food was good, but ultimately disappointed. Took my fiance her for his birthday, called a few days before and made a reservation. When we got there they had sat the last 2 tables and we ended up having to wait 20 minutes anyways for somebody to leave. They also asked when I booked if we were celebrating anything, and I told them it was his birthday. Not a single mention of anything. Seemed as though our waitress was just trying to get us out as fast as possible to turn over the table? Also it is SO LOUD we couldnt even hear the waitress, let alone try to have a conversation at thr table. Unfortunately dont think we will be bothering to go again. Very disappointed.

I come here once a month before my union meetings, Caitlyn and Billy are the 2 servers I always see. Both are awesome, they provide quality service, attention to detail, always friendly, above and beyond to ensure your experience is great. The food is excellent, never been steered wrong on recommendations. Served quickly. Never been disappointed. Always happy to come here for dinner. Dietary restrictions: They ask without fail every time if there are any allergies before getting started. The extra mile does not go unnoticed

I remember coming here a few years ago, and it was terrible. Park Place had an essence of distastefulness. Now as we come here Milestones and Park Place seem to be doing very well and it feels how can I say...Positive to be here. Keep it up I approve.

I had the best experience at Milestones Barrie on Saturday night. The food was phenomenal, the portobello mushroom chicken was my favourite. Jamie was our server hilarious and extremely helpful and his recommendations were spot on. Will be returning and hope to see Jamie.
