First time here and it was great. We will definitely be back!

Was served by Becca yesterday who offered great service. They got an unexpected rush of people and she was still charming and timely. She s an asset to the company. Pretty good food and ambiance is nice as well.

I was not greeted when I entered. There were very few customers early for dinner. After a few minutes, I grabbed a menu and waited by the bar. I was politely greeted and chose to sit at a booth. No one attended to me to offer a drink for over 20 minutes. I decided if the kitchen was this slow I would be all night. When I got up to leave, the same young lady greeted me as I handed back the menu and apologized for the wait. Classic case of miss-communication. I will try again some other day.

Had dinner & drinks, our server Claudia was fantastic! She was very personable, friendly, and was keen to answer questions. Thank you for making our night!

Good service and a great place to watch the Leafs but the food was just ok.

I had an amazing experience thanks to our waitress Sarah! She was incredibly friendly, attentive, and made us feel right at home from the moment we sat down. Her positive attitude and excellent service truly enhanced our meal, and everything went so smoothly because of her. Its clear she really cares about her customers, and she made our visit perfect. Went for birthday

We went for the Tomahawk steak night, the steak was cooked great, and it came out quick. The server was friendly. It took at least 15 minutes for our plates to get cleared off the table, which is why Im only giving 3 stars for service.

Food wasnt the best. Ordered a brisket sandwich, it was pretty bad. I talked to the waitress, she had to problem replacing the meal. I ordered a burger instead, the burger was good.

Love the wings! Fun place to hang out and not so loud you cant have a conversation. The service is always friendly. Parking: Park right out front.

Pleasantly surprised with this place when the entire plaza was closed for service otherwise. Nicole was welcoming, friendly & gave us great service. The food was delicious. That Donaire? Damn! Wings were great as well. My only criticism came with that funky gravy with WAY TOO much rosemary. It was inedible & cant be considered gravy. Id change that asap. We have found our new spot off the highway because they did everything right. As a pro chef of 35years, Im wicked picky. This spot is highly recommended.

Best served beer in Barrie. Icy cold in chilled glasses. Friendly, knowledgable staff. Bartenders especially fast and professional. Massive bar on lower level and great summer rooftop bar. Can be busy during big games and when local teams visiting. Like that they ban kids after 8 pm, after all it is a brewhouse not a playhouse.

The service was excellent and I was very happy with my first experience at The Canadian Brewhouse. The food was amazing and I would definitely come back again anytime.

Food was overpriced, but tasty. Ok atmosphere, but the staff SUCKED! Hostess (tall, young blonde) was arrogant and flippant. Waited almost 15 minutes for service to order a drink. Wasn t busy. They lost a customer. I can go to better places with better service, for cheaper.

Ordered a pint and some wings. Beer was fresh and cold - spot on. Wings were some the saddest I ve ever seen. Their version of spicy is for people who think ketchup is spicy, very disappointing to say the least. Service was pretty good though.

So I was meeting up with some old friends from work. We had to sit outside which was great because of the nice weather. They do not store the cushions inside during the night as mine was soaked. We ordered food at 12:15 and we did not get it until 12:53. After letting them know at the time of ordering that I have to leave at 1. Service was ok, fountain pop was substandard but they did replace it. Sandwich was good, fries couldnt finish.

Sarah was awesome. Took care of us. Got the order right the first time and brought us our food and drink quickly. Checked in at all the right times too! First time coming and for sure will be back! That s Sarah for making our first trip memorable.

All the food was permade packaged, tasted salty and cold. Couldnt have a conversation with anyone at the table the music was at club level.

Im dyslexic and thought it said; circadian broomhouse... was VERY confused when upon entry I did not find a single fair maiden yielding a witchs transportation device.... pretty good ribeye though

I liked the food, the place is nice and clean but the service was too slow.. we were waiting for the waitress to stop talking to the other service girls so we could order our food and of course asking for the bill was exactly the same

The service is really good with very friendly staff. The food is only so so. Second time we have been and both times disappointed in the quality and temperature of the food. The better meal was our granddaughters kids meal. Not sure there will be a next time.

The Brewhouse was always a good place to go. We dined there this evening on Aug 24th. I have to say Im a little disappointed in their menu pricing. Their prices were always good and that kept us coming back. However the price on the deep fried pickles have jumped in price significantly. For 7/8 they are now $14.99. I ordered them only because I shared them with our table. My husband ordered the chicken sliders. And at $17.99 I expected something a bit bigger than what looked like a over cooked chicken nugget on a mini bun. The prices per size of food has change a lot since the last time we were there. For that reason I will not ever go back. Parking is a joke. I have significant mobility issues. They had 1 handicap parking spot. If you want to use the other one you have to walk about 10 car spaces further down. All the spots in the front of the restaurant shoukd be handicap. I was so disappointed in our experience and has discouraged me from ever going back. You should CHANGE the method of the receipt so that when you tip your waitress you are NOT including the TAX OR ALCOHOL. It is unfair to the customer to leave a tip on tax and alcohol (which is already taxed) Parking: YOU NEED MORE HANDICAP!!!!!!

We waited for 10 minutes in the lobby with servers walking by and the bartenders looking at us but no one came to seat us. I can t review the food as we left and got dinner in a restaurant with better service.

I recently stopped by the brewhouse for a quick bite and a cold drink on my way to the cottage, and I must say, it was a delightful experience! I ordered their signature wings and a pint of beer. The wings were crispy, flavorful, and generously sized. What really stood out, however, was my server, Natasha. From the moment I sat down, she was attentive and friendly, making me feel right at home. Overall, my experience at the brewhouse was fantastic! The combination of great food, excellent beer, and top-notch service from Natasha made it a memorable stop.

My husband and i are huge fans of Canadian brewhouses pasta. Alfredo chicken pasta is the best weve ever had. Its only available on thursday. Natasha welcomed and recognized us. Shes really kind and friendly. I strongly recommend this place.

I had an incredible dining experience at the Great Canadian Brewhouse! The atmosphere was vibrant and welcoming, making it the perfect spot to unwind. I wanted to give a special shoutout to Ryan, the bartender, who was not only attentive but also incredibly helpful. He went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed and made some excellent recommendations from the menu.

A group (10 of us) were here September 1 2024 The atmosphere was loud and HOT, where was the AC?! My daughter asked if we could go outside because she thought she was going to combust . I was happy to go outside since it was substantially cooler outside. Several others in our group also mentioned how hot it was. The ordering process and getting our food was chaos, half the table got their food, the other half didn t get theres until MUCH later. Food was decent, nothing extraordinary or exceptional but just standard decent pub fare. Next time we are in Barrie we will go elsewhere. Dietary restrictions: One in our party is gluten free and there weren t many options for them.

A nice place to get away from the downtown business of Barrie. Roof top offers a gentle breeze, warm heaters and classic 1990 s music. Downstairs is a great place to experience a full sports experience. If you are looking for some familiar faces and warm smiles and to enjoy some peace and quiet, stop at Barrie s Brew House.

Long weekend Saturday Sept 9 - ok but a few negatives - item on the menu not available (should have told us up front), no coffee available as no coffee filters??, the spray feature to keep one cool broken, washroom light in mens room burnt out so dark??

Weve been here multiple times, and its always the short staffed service that throws us off. No matter how good the food and ambiance are, when there are just 3 servers for a sunny, busy afternoon, as was our experience, its not good. Its not good for the customers and a strain for the really lovely servers.

Great place for burgers and appetizers and, of course, a cold beer! Love the roof top patio.

I thought I would check this restaurant out at the end of a hard day at work. I was craving chicken wings, salad and a cold drink. When the wings arrived, I was stunned at their near microscopic size for an astonishing $18. There was literally a tiny bite of meat on each bone, so the salad needed to take up some of the stomach real estate or it would be nearly empty. The shock top was cold and served in the frosted mug and was the only decent part of the experience. However, it did not redeem the deficiency of the tiny wing portion. I mentioned to the server that the wings size was incredibly small, and he agreed but nothing was done to remedy the situation, and the bill came out to an astonishing $36! I left the restaurant unfulfilled, and feeling like I had been significantly overcharged. I shared this experience with a friend and she also had a poor experience with rubbery beef that was returned for more rubbery beef. I would definitely not recommend this restaurant unless you re just having a cold beer.

1 pm, 25C on Sep14 and their patio was closed, we went to the Rec Room instead.

Food was delicious. No one came to us at the door. So we sat at a table & waited had to call a waitress over to serve us. Very slow service, until our order was actually placed & the food came out quite nicely so koodoz to the cooks. :) My friend was also denied another drink after only having 1 beer being rudely told that he doesnt need anymore.. my friend has a speech impairment & has also been in recovery from cancer. So this was very disappointing. It was also my other friends birthday & we felt that the service couldve been better. This is only My second time being here I enjoy the atmosphere & food, I will still return in hopes the service is better next time. Thank you!!! :) loved the garlic parmesan wings so creamy & tasty.

Although the food did not quite match the description in the menu, it was still very good. Kudos to the chef. :) The atmosphere would have been a 5/5 great looks/great theme - except there was no air on, until the very end of our meal in the restaurant, and the patio was closed. Service on the other hand. First time here(for my 32nd birthday). Not sure how everything runs. Waiting at the front door for 5 minutes. Did not get seated or told we can seat ourselves by the multiple passing people who indeed work there. Other customers that came in after us said if no one is here they just usually seat themselves. So we did just that. Found a booth to sit in. It was a clean table. We were looking through the drink menu - but by the time someone had gotten to us to grab our drink order it was about 20 minutes. We had to physically wave over someone. There was 3 of us Myself, my friend and my boyfriend. We orders a Jolly Rancher, Melted Slurpee and a Budweiser. We order TONS of food. Eating shooting the sh!+ having a good time, not even being loud obnoxious just trying to carry on a nice birthday dinner. My boyfriend(who is not driving - who is sitting in the back seat) goes to order another Budweiser, We had left my house for an hour and a half to just go try to do something nice and the waitress looks at my boyfriend who has bad lazy eyes and tends to get worse as the day goes on because he is tired says nah buddy I think youre good. He is a hard working man that wakes up at 4:30 in the morning EVERY MORNING and works more than 12 hour shifts most days. Im sorry that his lazer surgery for his eyes as a child did not work, he has a bit of a speech impediment and he had cancer a few years ago, did chemo, has been free of cancer - but that didnt give the right for our waitress or who it was to decide he was good.

I had a very nice dinner with a friend/colleague on a very warm and sunny Monday evening. We enjoyed the beautiful rooftop patio especially with the mist - very refreshing! I had a burger and my friend had a chicken BLT wrap (sorry, i dont remember the exact names) which we really enjoyed. Our server, Kennedy, was so great! She was very helpful and attentive and answered our questions. We wish her well upon her return to university in Sept but we hope we might see her again before the end of summer. Well be back for sure!

The service here was terrible - 0 stars if I could give it. Our server, Ms. Sarah, was really rude. My friends and I got there at 9 PM and had to wait 15-20 minutes just to be asked for drinks. One of my friends didnt have her ID, so we understood she couldnt order any drinks. When our server finally showed up around 9:20, the first thing she said was that we had to leave by 10 PM and asked if we could finish eating by then. I get your policies, but throwing us out indirectly like that is just not fair. The service was really bad. I saw our server going to other tables often, but she barely checked on us. Our food came out quickly, probably because other servers were helping her. After taking our order, she disappeared and didnt even ask how we were doing. She said shed bring napkins but didnt come back for 15 minutes, so we had to ask another server for them. When she finally came back, it was just to ask for payment. At that point, we wanted to order more, but she told us no because it was past 10 PM. We then asked about takeout, and she said minors arent allowed on the patio after 10 PM, even for takeout. It made no sense since we weren t drinking or eating, and we weren t even allowed to sit there. All I can say is we were out by 10:05 after she told us we had to leave. Not to make any assumptions, I have read all the reviews before coming here, a lot of people have praised Ms. Sarah for being kind and great. I think that they are either her friends or known people. Now a days the reviews are also not truthful at all. Very sad about how reviews are bought and not sincere. Please be careful future customers . The whole time, we felt looked down upon, which is unacceptable. The food was great, but the awful service and staff ruined our experience. Id love to know more about your policies because Ive read that minors can stay in legal establishments after 10 PM if theyre with guardians or parents.

Tonight was our first time here, we were meeting our sons future mother & father in law who travelled here from North Carolina. We all LOVED it! The food so exceptionally delicious! The atmosphere was upbeat, fun & really interesting! Our server was Sarah, and we could not have asked for better! She was extremely friendly, courteous and accommodating. She showed genuine interest in hearing our guests were from N.C. (They loved her and commented Oh she is definitely Canadian! lol) Our food was so good. Generous portions, lovely extras and prepared perfectly. Thanks to The Canadian Brewery House, the excellent food & and our hilarious and diligent servers, our family made the best memories tonight. Much appreciated!

Chicken wings were decent. Whoever designed the washrooms should be fired. Plus make sure the water works and there is soap and a way to dry your hands

We had a party of 30+ and only saw our servers twice. The food is great, atmosphere amazing. Some of our partys food and drinks was not delivered. If the tip is mandatorily put in the bill we should have had better service.

Despite being nearly empty, they turned away my party of 6 at 8:30pm because minors arent allowed after 9pm. In the face of this we were happy to take our business elsewhere.

Weve been here a few times with a large group, and the food and service have always been excellent. Last night, just the two of us went and were seated within 5 minutes. However, the service felt different this time. We didnt receive cutlery or napkins, even after our food arrived, and had to ask for them. When it came time to pay, the waitress didnt provide the bill but instead added the amount directly to the machine. When I mentioned wanting to add a tip, she said it was already included. This automatic tip addition was new to me. The server seemed anxious or stressed, so I didnt make a fuss. When I asked for a physical bill, she said the printer wasnt working, but I received an email receipt later. Normally, I like to check the bill for any errors before paying, I wasnt overcharged this time but this experience is discouraging.

The atmosphere, Service, layout and overall experience at the Brew House in Barrie is nothing less than exceptional. Courtney was an incredible server that was extremely attentive and social. Nothing but great experiences every visit.

Great environment, good food. It seemed to be a little understaffed. The waitress took a little while to take her order. After waiting longer than usual, our food was delivered by a different staff member who forgot one of the dishes. All in all, it was pretty good, I would recommend it.

I dont normally write bad reviews but I had to. This was my 1st time here and I was meeting friends for lunch. After standing by the front entrance greeters booth for like 5 min the Waitress said sit where you want, so I did. She left me sitting there without offering a drink etc. until my friends arrived. Waitress then asked us to move to a different table on the other side of the room because that table was too big for 3 people. Really? What happened to sit where you want? I thought that was very rude considering there was only 6 other people in the entire restaurant. I chose that table because it was a bit more private. Well she seated us and dropped the menus. Finally after I was there for 20 min ahead offered us drinks. 5 min later seated a family of 8 with 2 young children and 2 babies directly beside us. Dont get me wrong I love kids but it was not the nicest quieter conversation area we were after. Then we waited (forever)for her to come take our order. We ordered simple meals poutine and spinach dip. Very easy, fast dishes to make considering everything for them is prepped just have to cook the fries. Well we waited well over 35 min for our food. Im not a pro but honestly to me it was way too long. We ate, food was ok, nothing to write home about. I have had much better. So we finished up and I had to get back to work. I have already been there for almost 2 hours I needed to go. Waited,waited and waited for Waitress to check on us so we could ask for our bills. I couldnt wait any longer, had to go. So I left without the bill because my girlfriend said she would pay it and we could straighten it out later. So I left. My friend messaged me 15 min later with what I owed. Cant say I will be back, worst experience.

The Red Hats had another event there and they are ALWAYS good to us and the food is awesome! Kudos to the new chef.

I have had a many a great times at the Brewhouse. This time is no different. Patio only... Sweet! Crazy hot overhead heaters??? They found me a cool spot :) And the service was so kind after my experience with the downtown crowd earlier today(theyre not so nicely nice)

Ordered the 27$ steak sandwich, which wasn t a sandwich, just a uncut steak, garlic bread and some mushrooms. Why even call it a sandwich?? My dad got no condiments for his burger and the server was no where to be found. Food was good, atmosphere was good. Disappointed by service and the misleading menu.

Overcooked steakbites and battered haddock. A bit fishy. Mac and cheese, no flavor.

I recently visited The Canadian Brewhouse in Barrie, Ontario, and have mixed feelings about my experience. Let me start with the positives: the serving staff here is absolutely fantastic. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm smiles and a friendly demeanor. However, despite the wonderful service and tasty food, our visit was significantly marred by a major issue: fruit flies. They were everywhere. It s hard to enjoy a meal when you re constantly swatting away these pests. We noticed them around our table, near the bar, and even buzzing around the food. This level of infestation is unacceptable for any dining establishment and really detracts from what could have been a fantastic experience. While I appreciate the hard work of the staff and the quality of the food, the fruit fly problem needs to be addressed urgently. Until this issue is resolved, it s difficult to fully recommend The Canadian Brewhouse in Barrie. Here s hoping they can clean up their act soon, because the potential for a great dining spot is definitely there.

40 ounce Tomhawk night is the best. Wish they did it more regularly

If I could choose 0 stars I would! Came today (Saturday July 12th, 2024) Got there at 945pm, waiter sat us down and we waited 25 minutes despite place being dead. Waitress focused on a few customers and not one waiter came to even ask if we needed water. We ended up walking away. Thanks for ruining my barely time I get to go out on a Saturday night!!!!

We had Paulina as a server for a party of 16+ and she was absolutely phenomenal! She not only had such good energy but was also checking in on us regularly! She was absolutely amazing and the drinks/food were too!

Went for Lunch and tried their signature cobb salad, it was as good as it should be. The sauces specially are above market standards.

Such an awesome spot in Barrie to grab a drink or some food, the staff are amazing especially Kayla and Alex!!! The rooftop patio vibes are immaculate and we re able to cater to a tonne of people this past weekend following a charity golf tournament! I ve had many food items including the millionaire dog nachos and much more and have never been disappointed. If you are looking for a great spot in the park place area to meet up with your friends for a hang, then Brewhouse is the spot!

Went there for the first time ever. Was sat at 8:45. Not a single server came up to us to ask for a drink let alone anything else. Intentionally tried to make eye contact so one of them would notice , plenty looked , but no one came over. We sat at a booth that faced one of the server stations where they printed bills. We waited 15 minutes before finally leaving. I have been in the service industry for 10 years and am currently a server. I can totally understand and appreciate when it s a busy night and missing a table by 5 minutes. But 15 minutes with zero acknowledgement is just straight up unacceptable. Super disappointing experience, considering we don t often stray from our tried and true favourite places, but wanted to try somewhere different.

My husband made a reservation for my 55th birthday..flowers, balloon and I had a birthday sach on not one person wished me a happy birthday..I did not expect anything for free but absolutely no recognition from any of the staff..not the greatest birthday for sure..I have been to this location before and never an issue..I guess they dont care about special celebrations

Retirement party for a co worker - and we booked the rooftop patio. Staff were amazing and super friendly. Beer was damn cold and the way it should come / in frozen mugs! Great job everyone there

Good good, free app for fathers day. Great atmosphere and solid service

Chose our first time to try this place out for fathers day. Walked into a sign saying free app for fathers day.....to the walk up to the rooftop patio and be told food will be a longer wait and they are out of fries. Ordered 2 kids drinks - were out of chocolate milk and we ordered 2 drinks. Ordered nachos and was told the kitchen is no longer taking food orders....not a great first experience and will definitely not be back based on not being ready to accomodate a family on fathers day ...pretty family driven event. Tons of other options in park place and surrounding area.

We went there for wing night. We sat at the bar.the gentleman served us his nam was Luca amazing guy amazing personality. Over all staff was amazing . Keep up the good work. Best wings in town. Solay and Michelle.
