The food is delicious, the owner is so sweet and friendly and she loves dogs! Not only are me and my husband spoiled with good food but our dog gets treats too 😊
I crave the fries here a lot! They are so perfectly crispy and fluffy. The poutine gravy is also vegetarian last I checked. Portions are very generous. The lady who operates the shop seriously has the best attitude ever. Definitely worth grabbing some fries from here for your walk downtown or by the water.

Best fries downtown hands down. It baffles me you can go to high end bars and diners and get fries, and the quality is absolutely garbage in comparison to a little chip truck that really puts care into every batch of fries. They're thick cut, but have that tasty crispy gold fried texture making it so it isn't a nasty soggy mashed potato inside like you'll get from most places. Gonna be stopping by here on a near weekly basis. Thanks for the amazing service! Lunch was great!
Love this place so much. Get deep fried pickles frequently when going to visit my partner downtown, as a snack or an add on for a lunch I've picked up elsewhere. Always so crispy and packed so full! The poutines are also a great size and so delicious with cheese curds and lots of gravy! 🤤 worth returning to week after week for sure!
I just ordered a sausage here and asked for a spicy sausage with mustard and sourcrout. The first pic has nothing on the top? I’ve never seen a sausage prepared with everything mashed at the bottom. I can even see the sourcrout. Or the mustard. It looks like a soup mixture. I even asked for olives and corn relish, she says a chip truck doesn’t have those items. That’s incorrect all the others do! My favourite chip truck is the guy at Canadian tire in the south end. Never coming here again. She was very polite but the sausage was not appetizing at all.

This gal ROCKS. THE SOCKS. OFF THE BLOCK my friend!!! The fries are fantastic, made to order every time and sooooooo yummy!! Many other menu items reasonably priced but i tell yah...... its the spirit of the service that does it all. Whats a place without passion? Im not sure how a loving heart, kind soul, helpful nature, and sticktoitiveness convert to those fantastic fries, but this business owner (and only employee, boy does she work hard!!!) does it all. I recommend this fry shack 1000% and no, were not related! I do though live nearby and while i try and make it over for a fry or two when i can, shes always up for a chat should i stip for a minute and i see her every day. She wouldnt bother if she couldnt give it her all. Shes got lollys for the chicklets and bonies for the pups and a passion for making sure you leave with a hot pkate and a big smile. A couple weeks ago i saw her up on her ROOF!! AND THEN AGAIN!!! Shoot, ida gone home and called somebody.........good job girl ;) Kid-friendliness: i Wheelchair accessibility: Wheel right on up to her window, shell make sure to lean right on out!!
Tried this place for fries today based on the reviews....should have gone with the 1 star reviews...nothing special about this place at all...the fries were awful...

Prices are way too high for a fry stand, and quality is brutal now. This place used to be awesome when it was still Jerrys, but has gone downhill in the years since. Not worth visiting anymore.

This place used to be excellent, fries are pre-cooked and reheated for each order. They used to cook them fresh to order.
I would rather give 0 star to this place. Even after mentioning her to give a fresh fries. The fries we ate were not fresh. She refried the old fries. They were burnt. The oil used was old. How much does it cost for potatoes. Totally dissappointed. Better concentrate on your quality.

The staff was super friendly, but cost... $9.75 for a poutine, small sized! I used to work in a chip truck, the size is ridiculous. The med poutine should have been $7...not $9.75. @thefryguy
