We dont go very often, but the need for seafood compells us sometimes! As always, the food did not disappoint, the cheddar bay biscuits flowed and the staff were very friendly.

We came here for dinner tonight and the food was delicious! We all left very full and happy!

Always a great experience sometimes a bit salty but still good.

Came in tonight just before 6pm and it was busy, but not overly. They told us about 15 minutes to wait for a table and that became double. Didnt receive drinks for another 30 minutes and food until 7:30. The Alfredo had hardly any sauce and the noodles tasted like theyve been sitting for a while. We were also right under the vent and it was freezing. Overall not happy with the food and how long it took, but the service was good!

We were soooooo disappointed! They changed their shrimp linguine recipe which was oily and not good. The Admiral platter was awful! It was as if they took a package of frozen battered tiny scallops and muscle bits and threw them in the fryer. The fish was overcooked and dried out! This cost $29.0. It was all thrown on what looked like a take out plate. I used to LOVE Red Lobster, now I m so turned off. Awful!

Its a decent place. It was a little run down but over all a good place to eat!

I have tried the Barrie location twice in the last year and was completely let down both visits. The food just planely takes forever to come out of the kitchen, over an hour. The service is awful, and the slow food is subpar.

After an hour and 15 mins of waiting with a baby with us, for food to come - and asking what is going on - and being told that the wait for food was an hour and 15 - I m completely disgusted that this is how a restaurant works! It s insane to think that this is how a restaurant keeps business. In total over an hour and an half to bring dinner!!! Unless you have 2 hrs to wait to even get your meal - don t bother! Horrible to expect people to wait that length of time! If I could rate this less than 1 - I would!

Great location and excellent staff.

We were passing through Barrie and we decided to stop here for dinner. It took a while for us for anyone to take our order before one of the waitresses realized that nobody was assigned to our table. However, the waitress told the manager and the manager came out to make it up to us with an appetizer! The food we ordered ended up being delicious as well. We were all satisfied

The quality has really gone down since I last ordered from here. Today, the food was cold, grilled chicken was way smaller than usual, shrimp pasta barely had any sauce on it (had to make our own sauce), the biscuits were extremely stale, and they gave no sour cream or butter with the baked potatoes.

Once a year we make the trek. Never been disappointed. The food, so much to chose, so we split everything. Delish!!!!!!! And the best part they are still OPEN. Go now if you get the chance.

Very poor service. There werent a lot of people dining in and we ended up waiting over an hour for our meals and appetizer which came at the same time. No water or drink refills, no extra bread baskets. Sadly dissatisfied.

We love Red Lobster, the food is always amazing we got mussels and the Ultimate Feast. The price does keep going up for it but I understand because of our changing economics, its just a shame we wont be able to get it as often.

We use to go to Red Lobster every week but stopped going because the taste and quality of the food has really went down hill we had not been there in 6 months and we thought we would give it 1 more try we went there on Monday for all you can eat shrimp our server Mark was fantastic but the food wasnt hot and did not taste the way it use too it takes way too long for refills of shrimp now we were very disappointed and it was a waste of money

I guess you shouldnt order fish & chips at a lobster place. Fish was greasy, salty, too much crispy batter. Fries were ho-hum. Coleslaw was the best part! Stuffed mushrooms very good! Waitress was in a hurry and pushy yet slow to remove dirty plates.

Lots of tasty food. The biscuits are very good and the rest of the food is impressive. The price was reasonable for the quality of the food.

Order the bowl of clam chowder...11 something. NOT WORTH IT! not even a cup of soup. My husband git the salad with salmon...almost 30.00 for nothing. Wendys does better and that says a lot. Im so disappointed!!! Almost 50.00 for what?!

We ordered the stuffed mushrooms, and they were cold inside, and the cheese wasnt melted. We sent the dish back, and when returned, the mushrooms were still raw and cold inside but cheese was melted. Everything we loved about Red Lobster is gone. It seems every dish involves shrimp and when we asked about crab or scallops we were told its too expensive to keep on our menu except for expensive platters . Red Lobster has always been our favorite restaurant, but we will never return.

Was spectacular as always. Spent $150 but had a child seated directly behind me in an empty restaurant where he proceeded to kick my chair repeatedly. Staff were of no help.

We ordered $160 and had it delivered. Nobody was pleased with their food. I had the fish and chips which were pathetic. I think partly because the week before I had halibut and chips from The Halibut House, which was 20 times better, and for a better price too. I am being generous with the 2 stars. Overpriced for fast seafood.

My wife and I make trips to Barrie, just to go to Red Lobster. Its our favourite place for special occasions. This past weekend we did an early celebration with family for our 4 year old daughter. The server was exceptionally nice to our daughter, easy to work with, and a pleasure in general. Hours after our meal everyone drove home, and we learned my brother in law was projectile vomiting. He was the only one who ate the shrimp linguine, so we concluded it must have been the cause. I called the restaurant and spoke to the manager to report the issue, and had no intent on asking for any sort of compensation. The intent was to warn them to double check their kitchen just in case. My brother in law may have been sick from something else, but I doubt it. The manager was a bit defensive, and kept saying they do a cleaning routine every morning. Im sure they do, of course. What I couldnt shake was the defensiveness of the manager, and what felt like dismissal of my report of concern, asking for nothing in return but a cross check in the kitchen to ensure the safety of others. After years of patronage, I will not be returning.

Its a fun night out. We went for a birthday celebration, and they accommodate large groups well.

The food has really gone downhill..my first visit there in awhile. Food was cold.and tasteless not worth the money paid out. I was misisng a lobster tail and when I asked about it I was told she dropped it on the floor. The food was terrible everything was cold the lobster was terrible it was whitish and tasted like it had sat for hours it was not fresh the crab shells where soft I used a knife to cut them open the grilled shrimp where ok but the breaded shrimp where cold with more batter than shrimp very disappointing as I drove 70 minutes to get there

I went in Nov with my family for my birthday and it was the worst birthday. Service was terrible and food overcooked and waited for 1/2 for our food. Overall terrible service to a place I used to love.

From the moment we walked in, to the second we left, everything was fantastic. Our seever- Mark is an excellent waiter. Makes sure yo are comfortable, checks back to see if you need and have everything. Fantastic job!!! Food was great! Had a wonderful dinner with family. Would highly recommend, if you get Mark you will have a great experience.

The manager was walking around asking patrons about their experience. I was really really impressed and am glad on giving this restaurant a second chance. Will definitely be back! A bit of advice..definetly Dave room for dessert.. ordered the brownie overload..to die for!!! But so much lol!!

We haven t been to Red Lobster in a long time, but we re so glad we went back! The food was quite good and for endless shrimp, completely reasonably priced. Christine was our server and she was great- attentive and helpful. One thing to note, there are very limited non-seafood dishes, so keep that in mind for non-seafood eaters. Also, as it gets really busy on weekend evenings, we recommend making a reservation and you won t have to wait long for those amazing biscuits!!

I havent been here in probably 20 years, and came back in for a birthday dinner . I think its a good alternative to all the other places as a change. The prices are a little on the high side I think for what you get but everything was cooked well and the presentation was good.

Fast service, food was great - I have certain opinions on whether shrimp tails should be shelled before serving but I am the first to admit my take on that is hardly universal.

As a seafood restaurant, it is all there is we dont have choices. Service is always good, dinning room is comfortable. Food is average, but the price is not. Why do they insist on having those stupid tablets on the table. When they were first put in we played a game on them and they wanted to charge us.

Had not been here in awhile but I think it has gotten better than I remember. Had a seafood feast mussels,shrimp,lobster and scallops all cooked to perfection at a very reasonable price

Our server honestly was wonderful and deserves a 5 (So sorry I dont remember her name). She was quick, understood we had our newborn and were looking for smooth service. A nice in and out. The place itself sadly had front host staff that were disengaged and in no way welcoming. One of the front hosts when we entered with our newborn looked at us like she clearly didnt want us there. It felt awful and segregating. I have never felt so unwelcome entering an establishment before. And for anyone wondering, our baby stayed quiet the entire time.

While we always enjoy going to red lobster, Id have to say this visit was the most disappointing, I ordered the salmon bowl with rice, the salmon was very under cooked and the restaurant ran out of rice, my husband ordered one of the signature feasts, the crab was so tough, Meals for both of us was very underwhelming. The restaurant did give me a take away salmon, it to was undercooked, I ended up cooking it another 25 minutes at 350 , Edit: since this post Red Lobster reached out to me And our understanding of this situation has been rectified. I appreciate the outcome and we will return to our favorite seafood place

Blobster shrimp

I went to this location during crab festival and got this delicious snow crab it was delicious, comes with potato and the sauce is so good that Ive asked for a portion of rice and ended up putting the sauce on the rice...oh man...I was in heaven...sooo delicious last but not least, I loved the style, the decoration, they some sort on little house inside the restaurant (1st time I see this) and the server was very friendly and helpful!

Shrimp was raw, waitress walked away with my beer when I still had about 1/5th left. My wife ordered a wine that on special, waitress brought the larger size that wasnt. They did offer a free dessert to make up for the raw(not undercooked) shrimp. Too bad I dont really like sweets. Used to love going here, very disappointed

August 24, 2023: Checked in at 6:13pm and was told it was a 30 minute wait. Took us in at 7:05pm to be seated. Its 8:23pm right now and we just had biscuits. Really disappointed in service today and no pasta? Ran out of pasta an hour ago. Really? Its on your all you can eat shrimp menu. Do better please.

Had the all you can eat shrimp promotion, you must try the coconut shrimp. Our server Thomas is very prompt and helpful.

The food was perfect. Service was also very good. Red Lobster doesnt disappoint as always. Our go to for our wedding anniversary... this as we celebrated our 30th. Parking: No problem finding a spot as it is quite large.

Placed an online takeout order. Order was ready at promised time, however an item was missing. Went back to the restaurant only to realize this item was unavailable. Manager made it right by agreeing with my request for a substitution. Overall satisfied.

If i could leave no stars i would. Had a group of 12 tonight and the 2 older waitresses were annoyed before we even got to order. Took 30 minutes for our drinks to even come out, half of the table didn t get to order their appetizers and when we were finally able to order our mains they didn t ask if we wanted sides or anything they just walked away, it took over an HOUR to get our food and not once did they take our plates when we were done. and at the end they threw the machine on the table and walked away leaving us for 10 minutes. So much more happened and even the other diner s around us noticed the poor service we were only getting. They seriously need work on their service before any of us comeback. Worst place i ve ever been to.

This is the second time we have been to Red Lobster in Barrie and left disappointed. Very poor service. Never did get our Cesar that we ordered. No butter with our Crab Legs. Salmon was over cooked and so were the scallops. We gave it another try but I think this will be the last time. So unfortunate.

Twice now, no butter or sour cream for the baked potato. First time they forgot the manager was brushing my mom off saying it was in there and it wasnt. Today, again, no butter or sour cream. Also one time I went in there and was ignored but someone who came in after me was helped. I need to not put my money into this location anymore smh.

Food was good. Service. Was truly not the best. The server was rushing us.We said we needed a minute nor in a rush going to have a drink. She was back straight away.Her mood was off. When we ask for something, it was not attended to at a timely fashion. She has been at Red Lobster for a long time. Our experience reflected in her tip... hopefully next visit will be better.

Cleanliness and friendly caring staff. Our server Angel, was very kind and quick with our orders. Always on top of refills before we even asked. Food was delicious and well prepared. Look forward to coming back soon!

Unfortunately only giving 2 stars solely based on the poor service we received. Came as a group of 8 for my grandmas 87th birthday. One server came over, and began taking orders. Shortly after, another server came over and started taking orders. We were all very confused and explained that someone had already came over. The other server came to the table and they argued in front of us who s table it was. They decided to split the table. I ve been a server for many years and have never heard of splitting a table of 8 (maybe 20?). They were extremely unorganized and very rude. They rushed all of us, ignored our asks for more water or biscuits, and made rude comments towards us. I forget their names (not sure they even mentioned them) but they were two older ladies. The food was delicious and hot. Very disappointing experience.

Shrimp, Lobster and crab were all too salty. Service was outstanding as well as atmosphere. But without good food not worth returning.

It gets one hour from the moment we get in side until we get food, some items of my kids meals were too salty, items were added, and I was told its included in the menu

Food was terrible and way over priced

Went last night (Tuesday) with my husband and unfortunately we were dissapointed. Service was awesome but we thought we maybe went on an off day. Food was not hot. Luke warm and seemed to be reheated. All the food seemed already made and prepped and just came out of the fridge and/or reheated. Usually its good but we were dissapointed. Ended up getting desert elsewhere.

The fish and chips arent the greatest. Shrimp is so good. The best person that works there is a woman named Tami. She is always so helpful. Thank you.

My girlfriend and I came here for a quick dinner and it was fabulous! Our server was so funny, easy to talk to, gave great suggestions, and attentive to our table. The only issue I really had is the height of the dividers between tables parallel. It wasn t tall enough for me not to look the other couple in the eyes and kind of took the ambiance out of the experience. All in all, it was a great dinner!

Went to the Barrie location Sat night with my son. Our server was great, the meal however was ,meh! We both had the choose your own. So each of us had the lobster tail with steak, then shrimp as well. My sons shrimp looked undercooked and he didnt eat it. I wasnt overly happy, considering my bill was over $170. Dont think I will be returning.
