Dirty atmosphere, mid service and bad food after eating here I had food poisoning the butter chicken was full liquid with terrible portions of chicken, in my order of butter chicken poutine I ordered gravy on the side and did not get it and only had two small pieces of chicken in my food I will never come here again and don t suggest coming here

My second time ordering chicken fries, there s no rocket science to frying French fries but both times the fries were soggy and not crisp which ruined the entire experience. Please fry the French fries until golden brown/crisp.

This place is killing it, the beef wrap is the best

We gave it a five star for atmosphere even though we did not eat in. While we waited we noted how clean it was. Hosts were super helpful to pick something delicious, and it was. The food had a delicious spice to it that was medium hot with such a smooth flavour. Very reasonable price for a very unique taste. Enjoyed it immensely. Thanks.

I ve been going to the establishment for awhile now. I want to let all customers know that the husband and wif have always been amazing and respectful towards me and other customers I ve witnessed. They take there job seriously and professionally. So if you re in the area and see the couple take the time and purchase something you will not be let down. Food is great and they know how to make you feel welcome.

Updated review - April 2024; The customer service was wonderful, but the food was terrible. We ordered the chicken with rice & salad plate x2 & both plates were just awful. The rice was soggy, the chicken lacked flavour & the veggies for the salad were sooo soggy. Was really disappointed that I spent $30 here & didn t enjoy it at all. June 2023: Had a great experience & my food was made fresh! I went in for a late dinner & ordered the chicken with rice & salad plate, as well as the chicken wrap, & a fresh carrot juice & everything was delicious. The customer service was great & I really enjoyed the rice!! Will definitely be coming back. Thank you for the wonderful hospitality!

Although their menu is complex with Salads and fires and wraps, from my experience it isn t your typical menu. I m use to shawarmas being by default in the bread/ wrap so when you ask for a Shawarma Salad it is actually a salad! Mind you it is excellent, you d assume it would be a shawarma with a salad, same as the Shawarma fries . I d definitely recommend! The staff is friendly, the food is great!

I recently came to Barrie and tried rooh s shawarma as an Indian friend of mine told me to try the shawarma over there cause i am a big shawarma fan and there i met Kusmshree who was very welcoming i have never seen someone that welcoming and sweet. She was so nice that she asked me about my preference and made food according to my taste. I have never seen that type of service anywhere. Food was too good that i thanked Dhruv (Indian Friend) for telling me about this place. I will always miss that service if i ever have to eat shawarma or any fast food in any other restaurant cause from now on this will be my regular shawarma place.

Worst food worst experience who servings falafel without hummus?? I requested for the change gloves because they making non veg before my order but they just ignore and didn t change gloves I highly recommend please done go this restaurant if you are vegetarian Falafel then just did a microwave food are not fresh at all

Advertises as a Berlin Doner shop......doesnt sell Berlin Doner or any kind of German (Berliner)/Turkish street food. Just another below average schwarma shop, they micorwave half of their food. Very disappointing.

Did not even have Shesh Kabeb sandwich! Even though it was noon and not busy at all when I went. Tried Chicken Shawarma wrap. Was devastated when instead of cutting fresh chicken off the rotisserie, they pulled old tasteless and dry chicken out of a steam tray. What a scam. Chicken is bland, no spices, does not even taste like shawarma but just a bland chicken wrap comparable to Subway. Won t stay in business long. Sauces are definitely not homemade. Only reason for the two stars is because the girl who served me was very kind.

Ordered 2 chicken kebob platters with rice and chicken shawarma wrap. At first I was surprised because it was advertised as having doner but there was none. The platters were gross, as someone whos had lots of middle eastern food it did not taste authentic, and tasted very Indian. The rice was mush and after seeing what the shawarma pit looked like after being cut I could not eat it. Looked raw. Service was fairly good.

This is not a German Doner shop as advertised, it s a shawarma shop. The chicken for the shawarma has been pre cut and kept warm, it s not cut infront of you. In all very disappointing!

potato vegetable wrap was talented, brilliant, incredible, amazing, show stopping, spectacular, i ate and left no crumbs and the only crumb i did leave was the three pieces of rice i dropped on the floor and i cried for them, i miss them dearly. will eat again. staff was very helpful when i looked for vegetarian/vegan option. EDIT: came back the next day and ordered the same thing again as it was haunting me, i was a man possessed, and the only solution was aloo tikki Vegetarian options: potato wrap went hard

If you want a handcrafted, healthy feast for yourself, at a good price, this is a must stop!! Hands down, BEST Shawarma Ive ever had! -Even the kids loved it! How can this place stay afloat with the filthy space and work surfaces. Questionable cooking practices and mediocre flavours. And there isn t one actual KABOB in the place. It s all shawarma style. Sauces and fresh or vibrant. This place still looks like a revamped Tim Hortons (which it was) yet was under renovations for months before opening. No idea why as everything looks thrown in . I don t normally give bad reviews as I like to boost local businesses and let others just survive of their own accord but this place needs a WAKE UP CALL! Sorry but I spent a pretty penny and got less then mid. For a famous chain this will not survive with the better quality competition in town. Sorry! p.s. if you review this location with 5 stars you either have no sense of taste or knowledge of this region food culture or WORSE you are being paid to write a fake review.

Listen, this place has been a genuine bastion of hope for me. Its good, cheap and fast food when you need it most, not far from the rest of the usual Dunlop spots. Employees are solid folks, the deal and see a lot considering they are open till 3 am. This place isnt fancy, its not winning awards for anything special. Its just good food, for a good price, when you need it.

I never ate a shawarma until I came to this place at the 5 corners. The food was GREAT and tasty..I Was very happy with my experience, the staff that work there are wonderful and very nice...Prices are great and the portions are well worth the trip there..HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!

Ordered Two Shawarma Wraps today. Flavour of the chicken was underwelming as there was not much seasoning. What threw everything off was that they used a tortilla as the Shawarma wrap. I have never had a Shawarma without a pita, and the use of the tortilla made it in to a burrito with a mildly seasoned chicken.

Terrible place. If you want a sub-par, unhygienic experience then go here. Terribly rude employees with questionably hygienic practises. I am a local professional who frequented the prior location often. Do not go here. I already have a complaint in with the city.

The chicken was raw . Tasted like it was boiled and some bits didnt get cooked .. I could taste the rawness of it . It was unforgivable! They should change the person working there as she did not have the finesse of a person working at a shawarma parlor! She doesnt know how to cut pieces of shawarma. They were thick like pieces of chicken and not like shawarma chicken which is supposed to be thinly sliced.. I was watching her the whole time she was making stuff and seemed like she did not know what she was doing! They need to change the tortilla wrap that they use for shawarma as well as thats not traditional. And if they cant deliver that .. they need to stop advertising themselves as shawarma sellers as what they are selling could be a normal chicken wrap but not a shawarma. They need to go to shawarma royal to take some lessons! If you have enough to open an eatery and you have customers who are willing to pay.. might as well do it right!

Stopped in today to try this place out. Got the Shwarma poutine. It was surprisingly good and the sauces tasted great! Service was great, the lady was very nice. Only area in need of improvement is the cleanliness. It could use a little improvement there but overall very happy!

Delicious food must try

Delicious, affordable, and healthy! Right in downtown Barrie and they have great hours.

They are selling anything in the name of shawarma but rightly so coz its in Barrie DT and we visited around midnight Saturday...4 tiny (yes they were tiny) pieces of falafel on cold rice for 13$....Their hot sauce is not at all hot. It was overloaded with sauces that kinda buried the taste of everything else (which anyway was tasteless and cold)....someone from GTA, not worth anything..! Dont recommend this

Surprisingly good shawarma wrap. The fact that it was in a tortilla had me a bit worried at first but it stayed together really well and tasted great. Sweet pickles also surprised me but were fantastic.
