Modern Vietnamese Dining + Bar
The best Vietnamese Restaurant in Barrie. The food is delicious and the staff very nice. Highly recommended for everyone!!!
It’s been a while since I last had Banh Mi, but now I finally got to enjoy it again in Barrie😭😭😭 It tastes just like it did when I ate it in Vietnam. The staff is really friendly. Highly recommend!!!!
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Minh’s Vietnamese in Barrie, and it’s safe to say this new spot has already won me over! Located in the former Groovy Tuesdays space at 73 Collier St, Minh’s brings a fresh and authentic Vietnamese experience to town. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, perfect for a relaxed meal with friends or family. As for the food, it was fantastic! I tried the wonton soup, broken rice and vermicelli, and both dishes were packed with flavor. The wonton soup was rich and comforting, with perfectly tender wontons and a broth that tasted like it had been simmered to perfection. The vermicelli was fresh and vibrant, with just the right balance of textures and flavors that kept every bite interesting. Overall, Minh’s Vietnamese has quickly become a go-to for delicious, authentic Vietnamese cuisine in Barrie. With generous portions, delicious food and friendly service, It’s a great addition to the local food scene. I can’t wait to return and try more from their menu!
Real Vietnamese food. Very good. But little bit more expensive than other Vietnamese restaurants. Love the atmosphere too.
new pho spot in barrie! one size for pho - tasty broth, clean, lots of meat! a bit on more the expensive side wanted to try the banh mi but they were sold out!
First time coming to this restaurant when we stop by Barrie with my babies for lunch. Nice restaurant, good food, friendly staffs. Definitely will comeback whenever we come to Barrie
Minh’s is one of the best Vietnamese restaurants in Barrie as of the date of this review. Certainly top two in my view and a fantastic addition to this city. I got (i) fried spring rolls and (ii) rare beef and beef ball pho. These are my go-to menu items at all Vietnamese restaurants so it’s easy to compare. The fried spring rolls are delightfully crisp in a light and thin kind of way, not overcooked and hard. Sadly the filling lacks flavour - not sure I’ll be ordering this again. As for the pho, the broth is quite good and has all the right garnishments. The broth makes or breaks a bowl of pho so this is important. The beef balls are fine but a slightly mushy, I generally prefer the ones with some tendon in them. Their bun bo hue and rice dishes are also tasty. They use broken rice which is a great texture and absorbs the fish sauce very well. Finally, the service at Minh’s is great. Our waiter was very friendly and even helped pack up our leftovers. Definitely worth supporting these guys! Minh’s is not perfect but definitely above-average, which is what a 4-star rating indicates. It is a top choice for Vietnamese food in Barrie. Thank you Minh’s for bringing quality Vietnamese food to this city!
Finally trying their new spot in Barrie - got take out - a banh mi and pad Thai, got home, ate them, and walked back and ordered another banh mi and the pho. 10/10 all around! Perfect spot for a late snack, lunch, anything. I’m so excited to see some delicious new food downtown Barrie. And a banh mi for $10?! How can you beat that. I’ll be a regular from here on out :)
Perfect bowl of Pho on a cold day!
It was a great experience for anyone who need to find a Vietnamese food in Barrie area , Im a Vietnamese 100% and for me the food here is so close to perfect already!! Great services also and nice and clean place for dining!!! Highly recommend this place, lets check this out guys !!
So delicious
Good food, friendly service
Vietnamese food. Very good.
the foods was good and better than other Vietnamese restaurants such as Anh Vu and many in term medium taste instead of thick textures of too much MSG in GTAs
Way over price for small portion size. Flavour is ok not good or great. $23 for a bowl of noodles should be double in size
Good food, good experience, nice service, should come and try the experience

Minh s is absolutely the best Vietnamese restaurants in Barrie.
Quick and friendly service. I would recommend the pho and the pad Thai!
Authentic, high quality Vietnamese. So excited to have this restaurant in Barrie, we are lacking for great Asian food. Great quality like Collingwood location. This one will be a staple for us often.
The meal was delicious and the staff was welcoming.
Excellent food
So glad that we came across this restaurant! I ve lived in Barrie for 6 years, and have been asking for an authentic Vietnamese spot. We got the pork belly banh mi and shrimp rolls, sooooo good. Will be coming back to try to Bun Bo Hue (spicy beef noodle soup)
The best Vietnamese Restaurant in the region. Highly recommended!!! Soooo Good!
We were so glad that Minh s open up in Barrie. They have the best Viet Food in the country from my personal opinion. We become their regular customers since Barrie location open. We have tried their Collingwood so many times. So highly recommend.
Delicious, Authentic Pho - A Must-Try! I recently visited this pho restaurant, and it was an absolutely delightful experience from start to finish. The moment you walk in, the rich aroma of simmering broth fills the air, making you eager to dive into a steaming bowl of pho. The broth was incredibly flavorful light, yet packed with depth from hours of careful simmering. Each sip was a perfect balance of savory and aromatic spices. The noodles were perfectly cooked, with just the right amount of chewiness. I especially loved how fresh the herbs, bean sprouts, and lime wedges were, allowing me to customize each bite to my taste. The beef was tender, thinly sliced, and incredibly delicious. They also offer a variety of options for all tastes whether you prefer brisket, meatballs, chicken, or a vegetarian option, there s something for everyone. The service was friendly and efficient, and the ambiance had a cozy, authentic feel that made the experience even better. Portions are generous, and the prices are very reasonable for the quality. If you re craving a warm, hearty, and authentic bowl of pho, this place is a must-visit. I ll definitely be coming back!
Wow. Best pho Ive had in years. Broth was so tasty, beef balls were amazing. Everything was great
Food was excellent quality, fresh and flavourful.
Had the vegan pad Thai, which was very tasty with tons of tofu and a very large portion! Would like to see more vegan options though :)
The most delicious Vietnamese food ever! Thanks Minh s for coming to Barrie!
Awesome Pho. Great service and staff. Thank you.
Great food and service. Portions are really good.
Good food
Delicious pho and amazing atmosphere would come again for sure
Pho broth was on point!
Amazing food and quality. I come back as often as I possibly can! Food
It was my first Vietnamese experience and it was awesome.
Such a cute little place. Food was amazing, the server was so nice and it s very cozy and welcoming. If you re craving pho, this is the place to go!!
I ate springs rolls and vermicelli noodles for 27 years at Saigon Palace (beside the El Mocambo) in Toronto. They closed permanently a little while back. I had hoped Minhs would be a good replacement, unfortunately Minhs is nowhere near as good as Saigon Palace or any other Vietnamese restaurant I have been to. Very few vegan and vegetarian options. The vermicelli noodles suffer from having cooked vegetables (should be raw) and soggy tofu in them. The accompanying sauces have no zing to them, they lack a sour note to balance out flavors. The spring rolls, while crispy, lack flavour. It was hard to communicate with the waiter as he does not speak English fluently and he was quite inattentive to our table. For the quality of the meal, it was extremely overpriced. I suggest you go to Chinatown for proper Vietnamese food.
Dinner was great! Best Asian food I ve had in Innisfil/ Barrie. Fresh, tasty, not greasy. Will be back for sure.
The pad thai and shrimp stir fry were amazing. The tea was also great. Very clean and nice inside and the service was fast. Great cutlery I really liked the chop sticks and the spoons it made it easy to scoop the delicious pad thai sauce. 10/10 ill be back.
Best pho!! Love their collingwood location, so happy they are Barrie. Amazing pad Thai, spring rolls. Great service!
Delicious food and great staff!!!
Delicious foods, amazing service.
Great pho soup and great service!
Smallest portion of Pho ever you can have in Ontario for 20$
My husband and I really enjoyed our meal and we look forward to many more visits to this wonderful place.
The food is delicious and the staff is very friendly .
Great food, served fresh. Would be great for sharing because of big servings! The staff are kind and considerate. We would recommend to friends and will be back whenever we re at Barrie
Delicious food. Attentive service. Beautiful space. Love this place and will come back
I recently dined at Minhs Restaurant, and it was a fantastic experience! The food was incredibly delicious starting with crispy spring rolls and a rich, flavorful pho that exceeded my expectations. The service was equally impressive; the staff was friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable, making the dining experience all the more enjoyable. If youre looking for tasty food and great service, Minhs is a must-visit! Highly recommend!
Incredible experience ordering take-out tonight! Ordered the (B2) which is BBQ Pork, Virmicelli Noodles, a Spring Roll and a Salad. Delicious would be an understatement. From the moment I placed my order, the team was kind - the young man even made a connection to the famous country singer and my name. Will be visiting for dine in very soon. The atmosphere looked clean, cozy and welcoming.
We were walking around the neighborhood looking for a quick dinner because the drive back to Toronto needs an hour and we were so hungry and decided try this brand new place. We got the shrimp rice paper roll, signature pho with rare beef and beef balls, and the grilled chicken rice. Shrimp rice paper roll was okay, but the chicken is extremely under seasoned. And the broth of the pho is also very very plain with no depths of flavor. It is very underwhelming overall, also it is a little bit on the pricer side. Toronto is miles ahead. Service was good tho.
