Super, good food (filet mignon), super friendly staff, and nice atmosphere (Dressed for Christmas). Definitely will return. Next time, we will try the dinner menu.

Ordered the family for 6 meal for takeout and the food was amazing! Tastes like it used to with the old owners!

My husband and I stopped in to get lunch .We both ordered a very classic BLT, which I could not believe when it arrived disgusting. They only had Texas toast as a bread option, the tomato was so thin (what there was of it) you could see threw it, and the bacon was something that had been previously cooked - think prepackaged. Our waiter kept running his hands through his hair and then touching our plates. Never again will we eat there. Hard definition of a NO

This is a top-notch restaurant where the food and service are incredible. The Staff are genuinely kind, courteous and very friendly. One of the three best restaurants I have ever experienced. A must to dine at!

I cant stress enough how fantastic this place is . 1st off the service was fantastic and the cleanliness of the place was immaculate! If you want to get a perfectly cooked steak this is definitely the place to go . The prices are fair for the quality of food you are getting along with a brochure of wine that pairs perfectly with what you are ordering . Dont let the outside of the building fool you . This is an elegant place to dress up and go out to . Just wow

Went there to celebrate my grandmas birthday. Not only were the staff very welcoming but the food overall was excellent. I was pleasantly surprised that the staff took note of my grandmas birthday and had decided to contribute to the celebration in their own way. The only issue I had was the wait time for the food but as I understood, it was not a regular occurrence since one cook was sick at the time. However, I think that the quality of the meals more than made up for the wait. Would reccomend to anyone celebrating a special occasion or just looking for good food in a pleasant atmosphere.

We were back on the way from Thompson to Edmonton. What a surprise to find a restaurant with halal meats and all the delicious food they served. Cook was awesome and had one of the best salmon dish there. Manager and Tanisha was so cordial and welcomed us as their family. One of the best restaurants we have experienced in this area. This is a great place in this area to dine in or take out for all and definitely people who prefer halal food and great service. Thanks so much for all of your cordial hospitality. We would love to visit here again if we get the chance to come. Kid-friendliness: Our kids loved the fish and chips and yummy chicken fingers with fries.

Me and girlfriend went there for the first time and we were treated exceptionally well, the service was phenomenal and the young new chief they have cooked up a great Cordon Bleu and Chicken Parm, it was truly delicious. Very good experience at Pennydales and it ll be our new spot for anniversary dinners.

We celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary on May 25. We travelled to the Battlefords hoping to get there before the kitchen closed at Pennydale. We called from Denholm at 8:25 and the hostess said - no worries- we will be here for a while yet. We had a great meal and even greater service and would up our celebratory dinner at 11:15! Great food, great hostess and manager. Made our 50th a very memorable occasion. Mike & Janet Gauthier

This is the best place in town to go for a nice meal! The food is delicious and the atmosphere is excellent. Management, including the servers and the owner are friendly and provide great customer service! I would highly recommend this place to anyone who lives in town or is passing through the area!

We had a lovely Mothers Day meal at Pennydales. The food and service was excellent! The restaurant was clean and had a nice atomosphere with soft music, not too loud so we were able to visit. The staff really made sure we were taken care of- double checking if we had everything we needed and if we were satisfied with our meals. Our whole table enjoyed all of our meals. We had a variety from steak, ribs, burgers, pizza, salad soup- all great. Thank you!

Ordered the Pennydale Express pizza for takeout. Loaded pizza with shrimp and onions. Great sauce. Crust not soggy which is hard to find. Will order again from there. Have been there a few other times. Enjoy the shrimp scampi, pickerel, fish and (chips substituting for rice), ribs. Reasonably priced bottles of wine ( better deal than by the glass). Manager (Adnon) and Tanisha (waitress) most friendly and seek feedback on their food and service, always trying to improve . Have recommended dinners be served with bread/ buns.

Awesome restaurant, the service is excellent, food is outstanding and very friendly staff. I gave atmosphere a 4 because jazz style music is constantly playing, and Im not a fan of jazz. Music is a great idea softly playing in the background and, in my opinion, traditional indian sitar classical music would be a very pleasant experience, but thats just my opinion.

We havent been to Pennydales for a long time but decided to give it a try tonight and Im sure glad we did! Food, service and atmosphere were all fantastic. We started with the stuffed mushrooms and the shrimp scampi, both were excellent. I had the ribeye with mashed potatoes while my wife had the steak and lobster with rice everything was cooked to perfection. Added a bottle of wine from their extensive liquor menu and cheesecake for dessert making this the perfect anniversary dinner.

Pennydale Junction is an excellent fine dining restaurant in Battleford. Delicious food, unique menus and well trained staff made this restaurant the number one restaurant in the Battlefords. I highly recommend everyone to visit Pennydale Junction at least once to experience the fine dinning food and the service.

Great place for a delicious food. They have so many delicious burgers on the menu. I Love the Kangaroo Burger my friends had Elk and Bison burgers. Great place highly recommend to everyone where you can find verities of burgers and delicious foods.

We decided to support Pennydale Junction after their kind offer of Christmas Dinner to those in need over the festive season. We wanted to show our appreciation for their gesture to the community. The quality of the food our family was served was wonderful. The salads were fresh and lightly dressed. The main courses were all generous, beautifully presented and delicious. The service was friendly and timeous. We love the fact that they have a heart for their community and will go out of our way to support them in the future. Thank you Pennydale staff & management.

Service was slow and the steak ordered was suppose to be a New York and looked like as of it was pounded flat and done extremely rare not medium a lot of fat so for 46 dollar not worth the money aka rip off. Very few customers on NYE for a supposed fine dining establishment. Will not be returning

We were in the restaurant on 31 of December......it Was awful experience.....drink were water down and served wrong glass. ...the seeve was horrible....the food was not enjoyable....and over priced......the steak my husband ordered was not the right cut and not cooked properly... Overall not a good experience......I will never return.

Stopped in for a quick bite at this restaurant on my last trip to SK visiting friends. Loved the ambiance and the hearty menu. I ordered a burger and it came with a side salad and mashed garlic potatoes. Ended it with a cheesecake. Absolutely yum!

Forgot to give this restaurant a review. I went there with my friends on 21st February to have lunch. The ambiance of the restaurant was very nice. The server there gave us a nice table. All of us liked our food. We ordered chicken cordon bleu, Fish & chips, chicken and shrimp Alfredo. We also ordered a large pizza. I loved their cordon bleu and chicken Alfredo. Will visit them again.

Had Fettuccine Alfredo and my wife had the best bunless burger she has ever had. Adnan is a wonderful host and very eager to ensure your meal is perfect. Elegant, comfortable ambiance and great value. We will definitely be back!

We ordered 2 Chicken Parmigiana for take out. They were very tasty and a good size portion. We had garlic mashed potatoes but suggested to the new owners to consider adding spaghetti with meat sauce as an option which the previous owners offered. Baked potato and fries are other 2 choices. New owners took over February 14 and are extremely dedicated in making the restaurant very successful and welcome any comments from its customers. We ll be back soon to dine in next time.

Our daughter has spent two years playing hockey with the Battleford sharks, and it hasn t worked to be able to have a meal at Penny Dale, but after her last game, it finally worked out, I understand that management has changed recently, had an excellent dining experience ordered varieties of meals from hamburger to chicken Cordon Bleu to steak and ribs, and every meal was great, new management was very interested in feedback and suggestions of which we didn t have Any suggestions as it was a very pleasant dining experience, we will be making an effort to stop in next time we are through town. This was an absolutely incredible place! A group of us went while in Battleford for work and the staff were so kind and courteous, the food was out of this world, and the care and effort the team put into our meal did not go unnoticed. My colleagues had the salmon special with peas purée and veggie lasagna, and I had the bison burger. Everyone s meals were incredible and the staff came out to ask for reviews and feedback. Dessert was also incredible (don t skip the cinnamon bun cheesecake). As we will be coming back, I m making sure this place is top of my list! A must go in this area.

Stopped in for lunch yesterday. Never been there before. Ordered a medium Canadian pizza and it was delicious, I really enjoyed it! The manager greeted us, sat is, took our order, brought our food, engaged in friendly conversation and wanted to make sure we were thoroughly happy. He even walked us to the door holding it open for us. Super cute place, looks like it would be nice for a date night too!

A lovely alternative to all of the chain restaurants along the highway. We enjoyed a tasty burger and a pint of the delicious locally brewed beer. The calm, quiet atmosphere in the beautifully renovated heritage building was very welcoming. Service was friendly and efficient.

Was a very great experience. Closing time was 9pm and they were willing enough to stay open for us as we were late. Service was great, friendly and doing to most to offer comfort. Food was great, ordered the appetizer platter and everything was delicious. Atmosphere was cozy quiet and fancy. I wish I could say our experience was great, it was mediocre I guess. We usually have our go tos in the nb area, but have wanted to try pennydales junction for awhile so finally decided too. It was our anniversary so wanted to have a nice meal with the family. The atmosphere is really nice so I had high hopes. We were the only ones in the restaurant at the time (4:40pm). Price points seemed a bit high so again had high hopes for food and portion sizes. My kids both had off the kids menu, which $15 was a bit extravagant for what they got, it was good though at least. Order a pizza and the kids burger. I had gotten the Cajun chicken with garlic mashed potatoes, chicken was good, small portion though and potatoes did not taste fresh, but were rather dry. Very little veggies (also for starter Caesar salad and was a bit disappointed with size and taste) Husband got the 10 oz ribeye and lobster tail, and the lobster had a very bad fishy smell. and when he mentioned it they basically said it was fine (according to distributor or who ever) but it wasnt even edible and had to remove plate from table. $85 meal for a ribeye and again fry potatoes. And Id like to mention the detail put on the plate with sauces or whatever were a bit much and didnt really go with what was plated. It actually took away from the actual meal flavours. In the end they did not comp the lobster which was clearly bad or just not well prepared. So that was frustrating. They did take name and number to come back and get a comp lobster tail and pizza I guess but I would have rather had the lobster taken off since it was not good and smell was terrible, kind of ruined the overall mood at the table for dinner. So I do not believe we will be back since a $200+ bill was not worth what we got. But forsure try it out since I did go through other reviews prior to going and lots seemed to enjoy it. I just did not. Will stick with my go to in the city.

Had delicious meal at lunch today. Fantastic food and excellent service! Manager even had a chat with us, very friendly.

First I never comment, but feel I have to today. In the past a great place to eat, today had the prime rib, it was awful, could not eat it, Tasted like reheated not fresh, and I ordered medium rare and this was definitely not. The sides consisted of 14 French fries (I counted them), 3 yellow beans (I counted them) and 1 cauliflower piece + a 1 oz thimble of gravy, all kinda cold, or semi reheated, I also had a Caesar ( it was good). I did complain about the prime rib and they did offer to reserve, I declined as I honestly felt A bit off from what I did eat, this experience cost $62.00 (one person) before tip, which I did not leave.

Exceptional service. Great food. Lovely ambiance. The kangaroo was fantastic. Tender and fresh. Quite pricey though and we had to send back an expired red wine. The Pinot Grisio replacement was crisp and tasty.

So this place was a 5 star before it sold to new owners prices are stupid high and they dont even have there food figured out. Waitress werent dressed for fine dining not practical at all. Get it together!!!!!!

I am writing this review solely based on the expectations of future customers to this business. We were there tonight for a supper with a large group of people, right off the hop it seemed very disorganized. The tables werent set up for the proper amount of people, whether or not that was miscommunication with our party to the staff on how many people or not (I wasnt involved in the the planning of the supper) it was cleared up fairly quickly. The server saved it all with a super upbeat attitude and was really pleasant overall. But when the food came it was a general consensus around the table that the food was so underwhelming (lukewarm, very bland, no attention to detail) for the price. The majority of people ordered the ribs and scampi with a price of $35 dollars a plate I believe we were all under the same impression that it was a rack of ribs with a side of scampi. It in fact was dry ribs, a very moderate portion as well. The scampi was delicious but for the price it outrageous. The server explained that they were shortstaffed and I really true feel for her because it was completely out of her control and she did everything in her power to keep everyone happy. I truly think it is coming down to the new owners not adjusting there business practices accordingly and trying to cut corners by keeping the high prices without putting in the same work. Long story short. Food was subpar at best, way overpriced, service was great. The owners need to reevaluate their business model. If they are going to serve pub style food the customers should be charged pub style prices.

This is the worst example of a restaurant I ve ever been to. My babyback ribs were out of a bag!!!! Babyback ribs come with bones folks!!!! Absolutely disgusting to say the least!!!! The only reason I left 1 star is because I had to leave 1 star!!!! Will never go there again!!!! I m surenthis place will be closed within months!!!!

This was the worst restaurant meal we have ever had. I tried contacting the new owners through messenger and they stopped reading my concerns and wouldn t compensate. We had a large group for a birthday party and the shrimp scampi and rib meal was inconsistent. Some in our party got 6 shrimp while others got 12. It was supposed to come with baby back ribs and was served with old, over cooked balls of surprise meat. The quality of food was horrible. The waitress felt bad some of us didn t get much on our plates. When I complained I was told the old owners didn t tell the new ones about our reservation and they were short a cook and wait staff. Many of us didn t feel good after and the money we wasted is disgusting. So pricy for a disgusting meal. What s as disgusting is they blamed our horrible meals on our waitress saying she put in the wrong order. DO NOT go to this restaurant. It will close soon due to poor management and customer service.

The worst steak that I have ever had. Garlic mashed had no garlic or taste, Chicken cordon bleu was dry and had no sauce, This was the best place to eat in the Battlefords but not now.

Service is amazing!!! We went there after my friend Graduation last Friday, June 3 at around 4pm. The waitress is very helpful and accommodating. She even gave my friend a free sliced of carrot cake. Excellent service. Food is very good but it s a little bit costly. Other than that our experience is AMAZING!!!

Gross. We ordered the appetizer platter and the chicken wings were not cooked through and it was all just gross except for the dry ribs. We then ordered steaks and they were cooked wrong and the seafood was bad. Plus it is way overpriced!

I am so sad to have to give this unique restraunt a bad review. We have been meeting there for years to celebrate our Moms birthday in Sept. It is centrally located between Saskatoon, Marsden and Lloydminsteworks perfectly. And the food and service was always top of the line!!! We were there this passed weekend and the service started out good, but deteriorated. I must say, some of our party were delayed so our ordering was delayed from 4 to 5:30. Perhaps that contributed to the problems; however, the food we received was absolutely terrible. The waiter was appologetic, and a couple of the meals were somewhat compensated for, but the portions were tiny, the meat was barely there, the taste was not good and itcwas very expensive. . We had to go get our own condiments for the tiny baked potatoes. L We were so saddened by the change. We will not be back.

A former shell of itself. It s a shame the new owners and management entered into this venture with what seems like zero to minimal experience because this used to be a very fine dining establishment. Service was slow, food was subpar at best. Until there s improvement made I won t be back.

I ordered the fish and chip special - I recieved frozen fish sticks (think captain Highliner). I also had the seafood chowder, it was awful! It had a pasty flour taste and wasnt flavorful. They used artificail crab, which shouldnt be boiled in a soup as it isnt meant to be cooked. I was disappointed after going there based on the ratings.

First two times the prime rib was excellent but the last time it came out well done not medium rare that was ordered and we were told that was all they had

Never had a bad meal yet my fave place.

My husband and I went here for my birthday meal. Everything was awesome, the food, the service, as well as the atmosphere. We truly loved it!

Fantastic!!! Food is always great there. A little bit of a wait but they serve you a mini fresh loaf of bread to nibble on then your salad and main course lol i hope your hungry and VERY!!!!!! Delicious. Reservations are recommended, its very popular.

In fact; the only people that dislike this restaurant are terrible people. And I know that you are no terrible person, I bet you are a lovely person that appreciates lovely food. The atmosphere was an 11. And the service was an 6.5. But what gave it two stars is the fact the food was sub par and not only was there a hair in the salad. ( which I could get over ) there was also a hair in the main course!!!! Appetite killer. The server didn t seem too care much and still charged me full price even though hardly any food was touched due too loss of appetite. I don t recommend this place and don t think I will be returning here.

This place was great! Friendly, experienced service and knowledgeable about the area. Both the steak and pickerel were perfect! Meals were 15-30 dollars, a few a little more expensive. Awesome!
