Great local spot in Baysville. Very good homemade food, friendly staff that are always good to share a laugh, and a relaxed, welcoming space. So glad they are there, and am always pleased to stop on my way to the cottage.

I went to Cast Iron this past weekend with the family. Amazing Food, good & fast service!

First time dining here while on cottage vacation but it definitely won t be our last time. Food was beyond delicious and great portions & sides. Family enjoyed and recommend the pickerel, ribs and jerk shrimp tacos. Oh and don t skip on the whiskey caramel cheesecake. *chef s kiss* Special shout out to our server Aura-Ley! She was the best, great attitude and gave good suggestions + makes a mean cherry whiskey sour. Cast Iron is a must visit while in Baysville. See you next Summer..

I took my wife and mother here for the first time. The food was amazing and so was the service our waitress aura was amazing and had a great sense of humour we will be back again.

Very nice restaurant in the village of Baysville. From the outside it looks average. Inside you will find a clean, cozy area. Menu is limited as are hours, but if passing through Baysville, highly recommend that you stop in and sample their menu.

Hamburger was very good, substituted salad for fries and was charged an extra $6 not to happy about that. Waitress didnt mention that there was an up charge. $21 for just a burger and extra $6 for salad. Bit to much.

Kind of a small restaurant but great food and service. This place is always busy so get there early if you want to eat.

Got lost in the meal. Took our Desert order and waited and waited. Server ended up behind bar making drinks.we were getting ready to leave and someone else brought it. Chicken wings which are huge are the special on Wed. Parking: Can be tight when busy. Dont park in LCBO next door.

Do yourself a favour and stop here on your way through Baysville! Known as one of the local gems in Muskoka. If you get the chance to meet the owners, youll be left smiling as theyre so nice! The decor is great too, especially the artwork, but its the delicious menu that will keep you coming back for more!

What a local gem here. The food was from scratch. Ordered French onion soup. I believe its the best Ive ever had. Went for the special, chicken wings. Oh my, bog and like the original Buffalo ones. Staff is so nice. Was a pleasure to dine here.

Great lunch special (blackened chicken on a pretzel bun). Both my wife and I enjoyed our meal. Sauces on the sandwich and poutine were extremely tasty! Very much worth the drive from Huntsville to Baysville - fall colours starting to appear.

Really lovely restaurant! Been a few times now, the service is always great, and theyve got really good daily specials, especially their Friday night prime rib. Owner is so lovely, and despite being full its not to loud. I personally recommend their latkes.

Overall it was very good. The mens bathroom does not have a door.

We were renting a cottage close by and this was the closest restaurant for takeout. We were pleasantly surprised at how great the food was! The fish & chips were the best I ve had in a long time. Very generous portions and the curbside pick up process was flawless. We hope to be back again soon.

Went to Cast last Saturday with 2 friends for the first time in over 2 years. AWESOME!!! - the food was better than I remembered. Piping hot, delicious as always and a great portion size. As Arnold says - Ill Be Back!!!

A gem in the heart of Baysville, Ontario. We have tried just about everything on the menu and everything is always so fresh and super delicious. They have great options for kids on their kids menu and offer crayons and activity sheets to keep little ones busy! The staff is always so welcoming, friendly and accommodating. During the pandemic in the summers, we looked so forward to our curb-side pick up Saturday night dinners. Now they have both dine-in and curb-side options. Cast Iron is our go to restaurant when we are in Muskoka.

It was our first time eating at the Cast Iron and we really enjoyed the food. Tried an interesting and yummy appetizer of brussel sprouts and bacon. Entrées also very good- burger/fries and shrimp tacos.

Stopped in after a day of atving, seemed to be a nice quiet place but becomes loud very quickly. Waitress over sold the quality of some of the food. The thing that left me with the worst impression was after paying the owner following myself, brother and niece to the parking lot but yelling from the door way porch instead of coming to talk to us privately. Literally yelling from the porch was everything ok ? I stated yes my brother was Speechless and then she asked again but decided to state are you sure because you didn t provide a tip Firstly, it s not mandatory to provide a tip. Secondly, verbally trying to embarrass patrons for not leaving a tip so the whole restaurant can here is far from professional. The food was talked by the waitress but was really nothing overly special or worth the value. In addition, the dining room was freezing which made the atmosphere not one that you would want to relax in. That being said We won t be returning based on the fact of being followed out of the restaurant and shamed For not tipping in the parking lot in front of other patrons. I suggest you save your money and support Another local restaurant.

The food was good and was served quickly and hot! Couldnt give it a full 5 because the service just wasnt the best... Forgot one of our drinks, had to keep repeating, disappeared so we couldnt ask for our bill, couldnt figure out how to split the bill... Might have been a new staff...

A hidden gem of Muskoka nestled between Huntsville and Bracebridge. You must try their spinach dip, its so fresh and herbal with a great zip and the fresh dill *chefs kiss*. Even picky eaters will like the fries, perfectly seasoned and great potatos. It is obvious that the couple that own this place take a deep pride in their quality and service as they were perfectly on time with our pickup, food was hot and delicious. Highly recommend for locals and those travelling between Huntsville and Bracebridge as a wonderfully grounded and genuine experience.

Delicious home made food ...jerk chicken milder than what I get in TO but very well done with side dishes. Cheeseburger and fries very good. But the best was the cheesecake ...Im going back for more!

A small group of us rode our motorcycles in. We hadn t pre ordered and they still sat us at a table. We were served efficiently and the food was excellent. Southwest Chicken Burger was huge, over lapping the bun. Staff were great and accommodating. Would definitely eat there again.

Stopped in for a quick bite after a long day of snowmobiling. We walked in just after 8 and the restaurant closed at 9. They had no issues with serving us. Restaurant is right off the snowmobile trail Food and service was excellent!!

Simple hearty home-style meals with friendly service. One of the best options on the way up or back down from the Cottage. It can however be unexpectedly full with ATV riders and/or snowmobilers

Best pub food around! We picked up a big take-out dinner for the whole family and loved everything. The highlights were the smoked ribs and the kale caesar salad. I will definitely be recommending the Cast Iron to anyone who asks. The quality of food and customer service is 10/10. Many restaurants in Muskoka offer pub food but this one does it right.

We had lunch here and two had the Breaded Portabella burger. Fantastic! The third wanted a very specific meal and she was gracefully accommodated. We are going to get our husbands to take us for roast beef on a Saturday. The staff suggested an early arrival for the 5pm start....cant wait!!

Friendly and super efficient service, as well as a diverse menu catering to many diets and pallets often forgotten. My vegetarian girlfriend loved the fajitas and house salad, while I enjoyed the chicken wings and cheddar ale soup! (Was that a Lake of Bays brew I tasted?) Cant wait for the next date night.

Great energy and good food! Dropped by for dinner with my daughter and really enjoyed our visit. The place was bustling. I had the burger and it was tasty! The subtly smokey hamburger patty (made in-house) sat a top a nicely toasted pretzel bun which was nicely dressed with a good smear of aioli. Complemented with a good portion of hand cut fries. Just what I needed! We rounded out our evening by sharing a decadent chocolate mousse (also made in-house) served in a tall martini glass topped with chocolate whip cream! Glad we shared the dessert because the portion was big enough for the two of us! Great friendly service. Definitely worth the visit!

Between the setting and food we waited over a hour and the it was so loud I got a head ache a lot of people for a small restraunt. The mushroom burger bun was very soggy on the bottom the gravy had a skin on the top and cold everything else I seen looked really good. Will try it again but with something different

A very negative WOW! We just kept saying wow, the whole time, as they refused to seat people at empty tables, at the quality of the food, well actually the lack of quality, the bluntness of the wait staff, the pressure to eat and be gone. Definitely suggest you drive past this one.

We enjoyed our first meal at the Cast Iron tonight. It was super busy and we had to wait about 40 minutes for a table for two (apparently there was a function in the back room) - the joint was jumpin! Service was very friendly and fast, and it means were super, very good. One of the owners was very visible in the front of house, and her caring was evident. A pleasant meal and good value, thank you. Recommended for families, seems kid friendly.

Great staff amazing food

I liked the sent of all the different dishes insistently upon walking in the door. It was busy also a good sign as I had never been there before. There was a good selection of food, making my choice difficult. ( I ordered the same as my dining partner) Cheeseburger with fries & gravey most unusual for me. The burger was exellent! ( the sauce/ mayo had a bit of a bite to it)However so did the gravey, was glad it was served on the side. As I am a bit whippy & cant take to much heat. I wish the server had of asked why I didnt eat the side... Other than that the service was prompt ,with check backs & most importantly new the menu! Service with a smile.. Added bonus they let me park in staff parking blocking someone in just so I could keep my dog in the shade!! (makes up for the spicy gravy in spades!)
