Probably the best Mediterranean breakfast, especially the halloumi and mushroom.

Excellent experience at this South-African brunch place. Elias & his team, they made us feel welcome, they were very friendly and helpful, the food was amazing! We enjoyed it so much!

Nice food in a nice restaurant, albeit a bit cold. Good service and flavour of food. Toilets need some work and seem like an outbuilding afterthought especially in the winter. One thing to be aware of, every table has a QR code on it that allows you to pay online for a quick and easy exit. However when completing this paying the provider of the website Sunday adds and additional charge for paying that way which is a bit of a hidden charge which is pretty disgusting in my opinion. Ask for the bill and pay with card machine to avoid this. Really disappointing that the restaurant have this in place as paying online reduces the burden on the waiting staff but youre given a hidden charge which is enough to put me off visiting Fego again. Would have been a 4 star review but this underhand thing brings it down to 2

Parking: Its opposite the Art centre and Waitrose so its best to park there Kid-friendliness: Small childrens menu, staff are happy to assist with modifications Wheelchair accessibility: The restaurant is king and narrow, it would be possible to navigate in a wheelchair, although it may not be that easy.

Whilst the people and food is lovely here the payment process seems like an absolute scam! On each table there is a QR code to pay your bill, sounds great as a nice quick easy way to pay and be on your way ..but . The link takes you to a summary of your bill and also lists a discretionary 12.5% service charge. I say discretionary but it s not as there is no option to edit or remove it. So its a mandatory charge!! Then if you push pay with this charge, the very next page goes to ask if you want to add a 2nd tips!!! A 2nd tip ontop of the mandatory discretionary charge! There is no £0 option for this either! And then to finally put the cherry on the cake, it adds a 3rd charge for the privilege of using this digital checkout! Overall inflating the price of what we order by a massive amount. At least 20%! For this shoddy business practice i d be avoiding this place in the future!

Ordered a chicken Ceaser Salad, didn t know that the chicken is a fried Schnitzel! Thought a chicken Ceaser SALAD would have grilled chicken rather then Fried schnitzel type chicken strips along with FRIED crutons. VERY disappointing. Lacked flavour as the chicken isn t even seasoned either.

Generally great place for brunch! The food is reliably nice. Just a little overpriced and the service tends to be a bit all over the place- multiple people taking orders, mix ups with food, long periods with no one checking etc.

This was my first time at Fegos ....great food and atmosphere. Its a very popular restaurant by the number of people coming and going. Would definitely recommend a visit. Food : 5/5

The Waitresses and staff don t shower. They come into work unshowered. I don t like my food handled by unshowered staff members. How do I know? You know a person is umshowered when you look at them. They look stale. They touch their faces. Scratch their faces. Rub all the matter from their eyes. Never wash their hands and serve hot drinks, juices and food. I pin pointed it to the girl and she said oh she washed her hands after rubbing her eyes. But I was seated in front of her and she didn t. She spied to the rest of beverage makers behind the counter. One by one stared at me, trying to be discreet. And starred at them hard, to make it known I was being gossiped about. That is my go to place to unwind and relax. Only if the waitresses shower before showing up for work.

Food was good but I was a bit disappointed in the service..... When we came to pay, the staff stood chatting instead of taking payment as requested (they had already given me the bill!)

We had Sashuka and Fego super food with mint tea with real mint and iced coffee. Very very tasty and filled us up . Dietary restrictions: I am lactose intolerant, so for me having a vegetarian dish without cheese is important!

Food was delicious however service you have to keep trying to wait for server to tale order or request anything additional. No smiles probably over worked staff.

Visited yesterday for lunch with my daughter. Very busy but we were attended to very quickly. Excellent menu with an appealing variety of options. Staff very pleasant and quick to serve us. Food very tasty and hot , well cooked and good presentation. Good value for money with discount for NHS staff. Thank you , my second visit and would definitely recommend !

Very nice service . Sat outside and enjoyed lunch . We had looked up on Google Map where to go near the model village. This place didnt disappoint! Staff were great! We had good food and hot drinks served very quickly. The food was exceptional quality and it was a lovely menu . Two of us had the South African breakfast and the poached eggs were perfectly cooked using top quality fresh eggs! It really notices when free range fresh eggs are used! Lovely place and so pleased with the quality and standard of service.

Great little cafe with fantastic barista drinks and food. I recommend the meatballs as the sauce was amazing.

Dont live in this area, visiting from central London but the food and atmosphere are top notch which I didnt expect from a rural area like this. Had the eggs Florentine and the egg yolk was nice and runny whilst the white cooked perfectly! Smoothie was nice also. Kid-friendliness: High chairs available and was able to accommodate pram whilst seating me.

Used to come here a lot a few years ago but has gone long way downhill unfortunately. The food was good, but the coffee was not; they didnt give me what I asked for and when I asked for what Id ordered the girl whinged that it was hard to do! The replacement was no better. Service also extremely slow and the toilet was dirty and in a poor state of repair. A discretionary 12.5% service charge is then added, but you cant remove it automatically - and it took 2 waitresses and 3 requests to get it removed! If you just want food and water, have plenty of time and dont need the loo youll be fine, otherwise there are far better options close by.

We was a walk in but waited over an hour and a half for food and then three orders was right one wasn t, but we waited so long that we didn t want to complain

Nice food although the quality has decreased recently. Some of the staff are great, others are slow and make a lot of mix ups! Very overpriced for what you get. Used to be a regular but will think twice about returning.

The staff at Fego are lovely and the food was outstanding. I would definitely recommend this restaurant and will be back. Vegetarian options: There where several veggie and vegan options, and they will adapt food to make it veggie. I had the Ranchero and swopped out the meat which was replaced with halloumi - it was yummy.

Excellent place to enjoy food and drink for all ages in our family (and dog too!). Highly recommended food and drink options too. Kid-friendliness: Always considerate and, and well thought out table layout means there s always space for babies in high chairs and their prams.

Delicious food at reasonable prices. Rancher was really good. Staff work really hard and look after you, I am not surprised that people were queuing to get in (Sunday lunch is a busy time). They provide high chairs and childrens colouring sheets.

I went to Fego in Beaconsfield this morning and whilst drinking coffee facing the kitchen, I witnessed the chef continuously handling the food - including poached eggs with his bare hands- without washing them. It made me feel quite ill and was surely against all food and hygiene regulations. I mentioned this to the Manager on my exit and she reassured me that she would have a word with him . My friends who remained in Fego s watched his talking to , but his behaviour was allowed to continue. I will not be returning. - a sure way to get Noravirus

Great place for brunch with delicious food, great service and a lovely ambience. Great for kids too with a good menu, small cups of juice and crayons to occupy them.

When in Beaconsfield, I always pop into Felgo, great accommodating staff with quick service, such wonderful plant based nourishing food here, Had a lovely Meditranian dish for late lunch and a slice of home made lemon cake, yum yum

Went in for a quick breakfast while passing by because it looked tempting, and we definitely liked it ! Great coffee. They could easily offer alternatives since I wanted a vegetarian breakfast. Lovely food n atmosphere. Prompt service.

Regular customers, live locally. Deliveroo order recieved with no drinks (which has happened previously). Rang and spoke to John the manager who was rude and dismissive, with his response being your drinks are sat here, come and collect them .

Lovely restaurant with friendly staff. Parking can be difficult as there is limited spaces but there is local parking near by. We collected for take away so can t speak to the service within Fego but we have been multiple times to collect and always had a good experience.

Service is really mixed. When I was there a couple of weeks ago it took at least 5 minutes if not more for anyone to acknowledge me and my friend waiting. Baring in mind we were at the front of the queue and this one host walked past us multiple times. I appreciate she was busy cleaning tables and taking people their bills but a quick be with you shortly wouldnt have hurt. It actually took my friend to say something before she said they might have a table. But by the time we sat down, we had a lovely server who was very attentive and the food was good as always. Not the best, the food took ages to arrive and really wasnt the best. I went for the poached egg on sourdough with avocado, and whilst the eggs were cooked perfectly it was one slice of burnt bread with what tasted like shop bought guacamole - it wasnt pleasant and cost £10. They missed off food from my partners plate (full English). We would not choose to go back there, slow service, poor food and very expensive.

Great place to have a brunch We really enjoyed the pancakes also the service was fantastic professional Staff. Han was really sweet and helpful. We really enjoyed our family day we will definitely be back.

Dropped in for takeaway drinks. Took a few minutes before someone came to us at the door but the service was great. Coffees tasted fine. The sizes are much smaller than North American standard if that s what you re used. Overall a good place for coffee. Also seemed to have lots of good pastries on display and a good menu. The place was pretty busy.

I usually love Fego for breakfast the food is normally great but I ve just left the table this morning after being seated for half an hour and not one person came over to take my order. I have no idea what s going on but I ve just wasted my morning sat there for no reason. Terrible terrible service.

All great except rose wine could be nicer. They used to do a nice one now i find this one hard to drink so water in future.

Be careful paying using the QR code on the table. On top of your bill and service charge, you have to pay to pay! Asked to pay the bill but it was never brought, so I used their QR code. Was charged an additional service fee even though the benefit is entirely to Fego.

Perfect for cake and coffee if youve been out hiking in Beaconsfield, and conveniently next to the station. Great selection of cakes and good coffee.

We come to this restaurant often, but lately the service has gotten so unbelievably SLOW.. even when the restaurant is not the busy it s still often very slow. Also, The last 3 times we were here our orders were either incorrect or missing items. We do love the food, and when the servers do arrive they are quite lovely. I have to agree with another reviewer who stated that for some reason the pieces just often fail to come together. Also, when I ve been here with other adults it s just a bit trying when you have to wait so long or your order is not correct , but when I m here with my young child the long wait times and incorrect orders can just turn the whole dining experience into a nightmare I truly hope management resolves these issues because it truly is a lovely place to eat when wait times are reasonable and orders are correct.

Guys can you please take care when preparing and read orders carefully, repeatedly confusing grilled chicken wrap with peri wrap and if order states chimi churri bread, please send that!!

Take away coffees... dont bother. After saying they do takeaway drinks and ordering a simple white coffee {and being told to wait by the door}, had to walk back to the counter 10 mins later to remind them I was still waiting... then had to wait another 5 mins, with no apology. Go up the road or in the station.

I had a burger I wanted just plain Mayonnaise on the burger instead of what was on it on the menu, but they gave me it in a small dish which made the burger dry

We stopped by for lunch & loved the selection on the menu. The cakes were all so tempting it was hard to pick. John, our waiter was so friendly & upbeat it really made our experience very good! Would highly recommend for lunch

Lovely cappuccino friendly staff

We had to wait nearly 45 minutes for our food to arrive and when it did it was totally average and not really worth the wait. The ciabatta for the open sandwich was like a brick and I could barely cut into it. Table was sticky and unclean.

I visited Fego on the easter friday bank holiday and was seated immediately, outside in the sunshine!! Ordered brunch and a smoothie and it was heavenly - great portion sizes too. Highly recommend, I have heard it can get busy but we got there at 11am on a bank holiday and it was perfect!

If you go for nothing else - Try the Baked Eggs. OUTSTANDING!

Discovered this place walking around after the trip to Beaconscot model village. Wonderful scrumptious dishes and amazing staff. The Rancho is something you need to try! We were the last ones to leave but the staff were still super friendly and insisted there was no rush! Will definitely come back!

Nice restaurant, good staff, reasonable pricing and the breakfast I had was pretty good - Im exacting in my likes and the offering was good enough to stop me grumbling - my dining partners were pleased about that! Worth giving a try - plenty of non traditional offerings too - if thats what you are in to

The smallest Flat White coffee Ive ever been served. Not a lot bigger than an expresso. A rip off for the price. Good coffee but very little for your money. Also the cafe is VERY noisy. They need to install some noise reduction baffling

* Egg bennedicts had raw egg white inside, very intense flavour of vinegar. * Bacon was not crispy and had way too much fat. * Found piece of plastic in my smoothie which was made from frozen fruit, rather than fresh as stated on menu. * No one enquired if food was OK. * Had to pay service charge 12.5%, about which no one informed us. Overall - would not recommend or come back :)

Tried to go for brunch about a month ago with my girlfriend, were seated outside and they took our food and drink orders fairly quickly. Drinks arrived and were great, however food took over 40 minutes, multiple tables that arrived after us had since been served, and some even finished their food too. We complained to 3 different waiting staff before someone finally came up to us and admitted the ticket had been lost because their ticketing system sometimes doesnt put orders through (???!!) The manager (presumably!) Offered free cakes which we accepted and these were great. We were sad that we couldnt wait any longer as were super excited about our brunch options. I returned myself this week to grab a takeout coffee and the service was super speedy and attentive - will hopefully return to make sure its a 5!
