We opened The Beech House in Beaconsfield because we’re passionate about neighbourhood pubs. The kind that sell fresh food and a great pint. Where you feel completely at home. Where you can come any time of the day, for any kind of reason. After work, before work, to do work. For family get-togethers, date nights or late nights. From coffees to cocktails, bubbles to beer. We’ve got food for everyone; from your full-English fry up to super food salad, Neapolitan pizza to rib-eye steak. Nibbles, sharers, roasts and proper home comforts; fresh and sustainable, cooked in front of your eyes. It’s all that we love about food and drink, under one roof.
Did a work lunch here with over 40 people, and needed to be in and out within the hour with preordered food. The beech house accommodated our needs perfectly, and ran the meal delivery so smoothly. Very impressive, and food was delicious.
What a fantastic experience! The staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive, making sure we were looked after from start to finish. I loved the drinks, and the atmosphere was just right for a long catch-up with friends. The place was spotless, and the service was quick – we felt truly cared for. Can't wait to come back for another great time!
I have normally enjoyed brunch at the beach house but today was not good. The food came out on a cold plate. My eggs poached were tiny my friends fried eggs were overcooked. There were lots of dog hairs on the seating area. It took them so long to clear the tables around us. We were not asked if we would like sauces with our breakfast and so we were up and down. The food was tasty but I will not be rushing back.
Kid friendly, great. Food (if it comes) not great. Pizza bread tasted soapy, kids pasta sauce out of a tin. Nice kids fish and chips though. We've been here 3 times. Each time they forget a dish or it's delayed. Tonight they forgot to cook a dish and then it wasn't ready after 25mins, so we took it off the bill and left (just as it came out the kitchen). For the cost of food here you do expect better.
I recently visited The Beech House to celebrate my best friend's birthday, and it was an incredible experience! The ambience was warm and inviting, setting the perfect tone for the celebration. The service was outstanding, with the staff going above and beyond to make us feel welcome and even helping us with food and drink recommendations. The food was amazing—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. They also made the occasion special by offering celebratory drinks, adding a thoughtful touch to the evening. The cleanliness and overall attention to detail were impeccable. We left with happy memories and can’t wait to return!
The food was nice, just my salad a bit too dry. It took long to order on the counter, even it was not crowded. Was standing and nobody asked what I want, what I am waiting for. Just after a while, when I started search for waitress, one girl came to me and took my order. The food was prepaired quick, we sat outside. Was nice sunny day. The table was clean. A bit pricy place.
Stopped here for breakfast. Lovely place. Very spacious, decor is great. Food is fairly pricey and portion size is small but it really is delicious so that makes up for it. The staff are attentive and the whole place is run smoothly. Service was very quick. No parking outside but there are several car parks around all in a couple of minutes walk.
Wow wow wow! Absolutely loved this place. The atmosphere was great, with 2 sections, one more cocktail bar and the other more a traditional restaurant. It has plenty of customer parking at the back. We were served by Leigh who was super friendly and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed. The chefs smashed it out the park. The food was beautiful cooked, perfectly seasoned and clearly fresh ingredients. The kitchen is set in the restaurant so you can see how hard they work and the effort they put in to each plate. We will be back again next week.
The Beech House is a social hub in Beaconsfield offering a contemporary take on the village hostelry. A strong WiFi signal is enjoyed by all and the presence of WFH free loaders is apparent. The choice of beers and wines is great and supported by a creative pub menu featuring pizzas from a real pizza oven. A fun place to meet friends.
Friendly helpful staff after booking with our group of 16. Good food from the Christmas menu, excellent for the price
We held our GP Practices - The Simpson Centre and Penn Surgerys - away day in the meeting room at The Beech House earlier this year, and were thoroughly impressed! The team went above and beyond to ensure our comfort, providing exceptional attention and seamless support with all the audiovisual equipment needed for our presentation. The management and staff were outstanding, and the food was absolutely top-notch. A fantastic experience from start to finish highly recommended for professional events or gatherings!
We booked the private room at the beech house for our NCT Christmas reunion with 14 adults and 7 babies. The staff were extremely helpful, the room had been set out perfectly for us all with the babies and the food and drinks all served well. Thank you so much for being so accommodating for such a large group!
Excellent steak + bearnaise sauce this evening. Service from Jake was excellent and my young kids were made to feel very welcome. Kid-friendliness: Very welcoming to kids
We stopped in for morning coffee on 24th October and waited at bar to order. After being completely ignored by the 2 members of staff standing just in front of us, I eventually interrupted them to ask for coffees. My husband joined us 15 minutes later and was also completely ignored despite again being just in front of the staff. Next time we ll go to one of the other friendlier cafes. It s a shame because we ve never had any problems with the restaurant side.
Modern, relaxing atmosphere, great layout and very roomy. Pleasant and lovely staff, good service and best of all the food is spot on, its actually very good indeed.
Lovely vibes lovely staff, thank you Anneka xxx
Ive never had a bad experience at an Oakman inns place. And this was great. Service was great and really great place for a catch up with friends/family. Food choice is excellent as a vegetarian. Ive sadly scored the food a bit low only because the sticky toffee pudding was cold. This was without hesitation refine but it was still on the tepid side and I expect a STP should be nice and warm in my opinion and experience.
I ve been multiple times. I love the bolognese pizza. Me and mum went with family after our confirmation. I have had it twice once I realised that it was there and I loved it every time! Robert is really nice. I came in today out of the blue to ask a few questions for my assignment and he went above and beyond! I showed him the assignment and he asked for my email address and took the ball and rolled with it.
Went for brunch on bank holiday. Serving staff Jack was very polite and so helpful. Food was delicious i had turkish eggs and my partner had ham and cheese panini and my step son has pasta we all enjoyed our food.
Don t bother, service is more or less non existent. 25 minutes minimum for a drink. Ordered two pizzas and the equivalent of 4 chillies per pizza too hot for anyone to eat more like a chilli challenge. Response from server or sometimes the chef likes to do that! Laughable
Great food wonderful surroundings highly recommended
Great service, friendly staff and lots of gluten free options Kid-friendliness: Kids menu had good options Food : 5/5 |
Great service Dietary restrictions: Good GF choices Food : 5/5 |
1st time here, came highly recommended, the service from all the staff was excellent and special thanks to Leigh.
A great place to go for a wonderful experience after visiting Bekonscot. Great food, drink and especially staff! Food : 4/5
Friendly staff however the service is slow. Kitchen staff were loud spoiling the whole atmosphere. Very poor food Food
Good food and choice for brunch, service was too slow.
We popped in last night, my wife and I, as we live 2 minutes away. Might I say this was our first time there and we didnt know how the food tastes. We ordered pasta and pizza: BIANCO PROSCIUTTO E FUNGHI FUSILLI POLLO E PANNA First taste, we were transported to Italy. The pasta was amazing and delicious. 2nd place was the pizza. As an extra, you must ask for the tomato sauce. Service was great as well. Waiter was polite and friendly. Atmosphere beautiful and romantic inside. Well make sure to come back.
Had a few pints with some friends, staff were very friendly. Good prices and nice atmosphere
Excellent service, fast food delivery and good value for money
Lovely place and amazing atmosphere.Rory is a top notch bartender!
Had the most wonderful meal, and cannot thank our server Jonny and the rest of the team for a fantastic experience and great handling of our children s dairy allergies. Thank you Beech House we will be back!
Food was good quality, the service was good they were just really busy
It was very disappointing on our last visit. Service was poor, and both wait & food unacceptable. Food arrived at different times & one meal not as hot as it should have been! Sadly, it was not as good as earlier visits despite the amount spent.
There is very limited parking in the area. We went on a Monday and they seemed to be out of alot of dishes. They also had alot of staff but no one seemed to be doing much. We were checked on once during dinner and had to go and find our server for more drinks
Staff friendly, service is slow. Kitchen staff were loud, could hear them saying they couldn t be bothered . It showed, the food was below average. I can cook a steak from Tesco better than their £35 steak which was tough. If you want a full English and some beer, then the place is great, if you want to go out for a meal, stay clear of the place.
Great place for family meal. Good food and ambience Food
Morning coffee, barista, very welcoming and helpful. Always a cheery greeting from them, they know what we have and how we like it.
Very good pub with an excellent food menu.
Lovely food (lamb flatbread, red pepper hummus and calamari) wine was very good but quite expensive
My son and I were very happy with our meal here. Good choice, his calzone looked delicious (I didnt get a look in!) Friendly staff, nice atmosphere
Lots of food to choose from! Only issue is one of the specials was marked vegetarian when it had prosciutto ham in it, and it was hard to get service at times! (And quite pricey!) Vegetarian options: Not too many vegetarian options, one of the specials was marked vegetarian when it had ham in it! (No harm in double checking if a dish is vegetarian before ordering)
Leigh was amazing ! Great food and amazing atmosphere. Thank you Food
Just coffee in nice open comfortable area with friendly service
Large pub / restaurant I only had a pint of London Pride which was well kept.
Stop here the other day after a long week and the server made my day. She was so kind and nothing was too much for her. Thank you Karolina you made my morning much enjoyable.
A really nice place to meet up for a coffee. Lots of outdoor sitting and space inside. Nice vibe staff are friendly services for food was a bit slow.
Excellent vegan menu. The food was very well prepared and tasty. Food
Had a really nice brunch here, everything was tasty with good portions. Staff were very helpful and relaxed. The salmon in the eggs royale was a wee bit over salty, but otherwise a great choice for an impromptu weekend meal. Kid-friendliness: Lots of children and prams around.
Loved it ! The Salmon dish was perfect
Modern buzzy place to eat with great service from a well managed staff. Although a little noisy at time but this does not detract from having a splendid meal. Pizza are especially good and the open kitchen adds to the enjoyment.
Good for a drink but pricey.
Eggs came over cooked, replaced them but it was raw. No salt on the food, bread was barely grilled, bacon needed more frying. Service was bland. A solid waste of £40.
Lovely, friendly staff, delicious pizza, various drinks.
Lovely lunch and friendly staff
Accommodated a fairly large group of us (8 people) at very short notice for bank holiday dinner. Food and service were excellent.
The vegan options at The Beech House are getting really good! We had the vegan lamb moussaka today and it was amazing!! It was on their specials menu but hopefully itll make it to the main menu Dietary restrictions: There are some decent vegan options here :)
Amazing vegan moussaka! Always very friendly and welcoming, with good food Food : 5/5
Friendly staff food always tastes fresh
Ive always thought this was a decent place to have a drink, meet a friend, have some food.
Lovely place, atmosphere and service. Recommended!
This is a regular spot for meeting with friends. Plenty of seating. Nice atmosphere and decor. Pleasant and attentive team behind the bar. I havent used the restaurant but did try the mushroom pizza while in the bar area and if was very nice.
Great place, lovely atmosphere and staff ,,, £5 for a bottle of water is a bit of a liberty
Came here for my daughter s 18th Birthday. Fab place with a good vibe. Our server was Anneka? (Hope I ve spelt it correctly) She was fantastic. Very personable and friendly. She s an asset to your establishment. Nothing was too much trouble. Food was fantastic. The chicken wings were amazing. Definitely be back.
Lovely restaurant with va good menu. Friendly staff
Great atmosphere Lovely food Friendly efficient service Food
Went for brunch, portions a little on the small side, but great space for families with young children and prams and high chairs Kid-friendliness: Almost every table had young children or babies on them. Fantastic baby change with milton sterilizer to use before/after
Food was good, staff was lovely especially James! Our steak came a bit late and a bit too overcooked for our liking and he compensated that for us with free dessert. What a lovely guy!
I have been a regular at the beech house for many many years. Back when they were a single unit before the expansion. I ve always loved it, loved the food & atmosphere. However I will no longer be returning. I booked a meal for our anniversary, all good & confirmed. In the notes I mentioned il be bringing our young cockapoo who s a good boy to the meal, we were aware and completely fine with being in the bar area. Upon arrival we were told to sit in the restaurant despite me asking if they re sure that s ok as I know it s normally dogs in bar only. We sat down, within 5 mins another member of staff came over to move us. We were in the bar area, it was a Sunday evening so mainly dead. There was a family with screaming kids and a couple of ladies who were absolutely steaming, disturbing everyone. Everyone who was sitting eating food ended up moving to the other end of the bar including us. The kids were flinging chairs across the floor, yelling. Running in & out of tables of people who were eating and you could clearly see everyone was getting annoyed. Manager behind the bar couldn t care less. I Kept telling the kids & the women to stop coming up to our table when we re trying to have a meal and to leave the dog alone. Then they were calling him from across the room. The looks on all the customers faces were fed up & quite surprised the staff just couldn t care less despite people complaining about it. We ordered our starters which came and were great (squid & prawns) the halloumi however came lathered in the thickest layer of the cheapest tasting tomato sauce going. Ordered the mains, was told no chicken available, no Caesar salad and no rice (!) which wiped out half the menu. Ended up getting Lebanese lamb and opted for cous cous instead which wasn t too bad. Lamb very fatty. My wife ordered a Sunday roast which was stone cold. Absolutely stone cold. We complained and they took it back saying a fresh one was being made, when all they did was nuke it in a microwave. It arrived back with the same veg (cut open potato & 1 carrot on plate as wife had them) and tried to play it off as a new meal until we challenged it. Potato s were just mush. Beef was overdone and chewy. So half of it went to the dog so at least one of us had a great night. No one came over to ask how it was or to check on us. The beech house used to be a quality place, great food great drinks and great people with a buzzing atmosphere, but the people coming in the door hoods up, trackies on and the low quality food is giving a weatherspoon vibe yet they ll pull your pants down on the pricing. It s gone downhill over the last year for sure and I definitely won t be recommending it or coming back. Instead il Head into the old town instead it s got beautiful friendly family run restaurants all over.
I have been quite a few times now and highly recommend the food. they have gluten free options which is a BIG plus for me
Meh... mediocre food and poor service not a great combination. Wont be back.
Over priced food!
If you want a proper night out with the Doris and rack up 10 brownie points youve lust arrived
Not A bad place to eat and drink or family get together recommend Wheelchair accessibility: No steps Service : 5/5 |
One of the best food spots in beaconsfield. Relaxed atmosphere & great to catch up with friends & family. Absolutely Delicious Food everytime. Attentive service. I Would highly recommend the chef specials. So creative & well thought out, beautifully presented and packed with flavour !
Hi Honestly I have been in the Beach house for the food is going down of quality. I have been a lot of restaurants in Beaconsfield. The quality of food is okay not impressed me at all. Prefer the White horse. Is better. Im Afraid.
Service was fantastic. We went on Thursday the 16th March. The waiter was brilliant. He was very professional and checked in a couple of times to ask if everything was okay (which it was) Food : 5/5
Cosy restaurant with a variety of delicious food. Kid-friendliness: Highchairs Food : 5/5 |
Went back after a couple of years, food was just average. The half chicken was more like a quarter chicken, completely misdescribed. The vegetarian salad was just a giant bowl of spinach.
Went for a couples date, food bit average. Nice venue and friendly staff
I went here on a group ride because the cafe across the road was closed down. It was the first time I ve been there and I ll definitely be going back again. It s the general consensus shared by many of the other riders who were there as well. The only complaint I have is that a number system for orders but maybe make things easier for the customers and the staff
Quick service, spacious dining and was filled up.
Service is terrible, slow, and not friendly .We were waiting for food 1 hour 15 min
Great place in Beaconsfield. Highly recommend.
Was here yesterday. We had some starters and I had pizza as a main course after. The first pizza was burned I asked for a new one they just changed dried tomatoes on top and gave me the same one . Then I said I ammnot paying for that pizza and ordered another one whicu is on the pic...and as you can see again burned quite a lot ....so I dont know whats wrong with a pizza man...but the starts was really good just not the squid...was so hard to chew...overcooked.complitely
Lovely Bottomless Brunch and Leigh really helpful
Popped in for a late lunch as been there 2 or 3 times previously . Had to send the burger back as burnt & dry like it had been sat on the side for ages . After a lengthy wait a new burger arrived & it was delicious I have to say & we weren t charged for it either so yeah not great BUT it was rectified & no charge so yeah would go back without hesitation. Staff are excellent & just a nice relaxed place .
Good food, good choices for everyone including vegans and vegetarian. Service was a bit slow.
Our barman Joe was great
Had a lovely meal today here with friends. The service was particularly good. Becky with the pink hair remembered who ordered what and looked after us well, particularly when discussing allergens in food. The food was delicious.. we felt unrushed... and thoroughly enjoyed the lunch. Most of us had pizza.. delicious.Thank you
Called half an hour before asking if I could pick up at 5.30 pm Got there they hadn t even started got it home and none of the extras paid for were missing Terrible service Never coming back again
Lovely food and atmosphere.Highly recommended.Karolina was lovely and looked after us.Will visit again
Had really slow service left my family to order desserts came back from the loo to find they re still waiting to order their desserts, they looked to be short staffed. However the food was good pizza was nice as well as the mussels I had.
Wonderful service, great quality food. They care about the customer in here! Will definitely recommend and be back
Always lovely to visit
Service is always good, the food is tasty and a good price for Beaconsfield. The selection of ales seems great on their online menu but they often run out. Good atmosphere in the evenings. Dog friendly and child friendly. Accessible entrance. Vegetarian options: Variety of vegetarian options.
Delicious food, shame the service was really poor.
Great staff, fast service. Note that they add a service charge for >2 people, not the usual 6 or 8. The food was ok (chicken burger and Sunday roast). The pork belly bites was really nice. Disappointed in the calamari rings starter though - it wasnt rubbery, but had to pull the stringy bits out of every piece - after a few bites it felt like I was chewing dental floss. Otherwise, the waitress was extremely nice and friendly - made us feel very welcome.
Amazing food options ! Lovely coffee and great location !
Nice restaurant in a village short of good venues. Beautifully fitted out and helpful friendly service. Mediocre food though.
Lovely atmosphere and staff where very polite and attentive. Food was nice nothing amazing but just nice comfort food, we had dinner here but I have heard their breakfast is fab so will be returning to try. Very reasonably priced.
Pizza nice and served hot
For the price, the food wasnt great at all. My son had spaghetti Bolognese from the kids menu and even he complained how small the portion was. I had a Focaccia sandwich and it was all bread and little filling, the chips accompanying it were cold. My partner said her salad was disappointing, too.
Good place, parking can be a challenge
Great lunch - busy atmosphere and excellent service along with top quality food. Highly recommend.
Great fish and chips!
Great food, bit more on the spenny side but definitely worth the price, very spacious, couldnt feel cramped in there if you tried too, would definitely come again
Good food at reasonable prices. Can be very loud when busy. Some interesting wines at not to nosebleed prices. Though can be busy at certain times of the month.
Overpriced, 10% service charge included.
Orange juice not from fresh fruit, I had a coffee without sugar and without tablespoon Poor attention for customers. Small portion even it pleasant in taste Food : 2/5 |
Food was great, service was very slow to start, think we were forgotten! But picked up after promoting. A very relaxing atmosphere but some areas looking a little worn and could do with tlc. Otherwise a good recommendation.
Tom is the best server we have had at the Beach House. He is attentive, friendly and and absolutely asset to the team. Thank you Tom!
Was recommended by a friend to visit but wont be visiting again service was very poor and had to keep asking for simple things like a knife and fork table was never cleared when the next course was served overall not great value and could easily have a better meal else where
Great trendy pub... very spacious and comfy
After visiting Bekonscot model village on the day, we were looking for a place to have lunch and stumbled upon Beech House. The atompshere inside restaurant looked warm and welcoming, and although we did not have a tabled booked we decided to go in. We were immedately welcomed by a warm smile at the entrance and asked to sit at any table in the barside and order the food and drink at the bar. The service was great. Orders taken and served with plesantary. Although the resturant and bar being busy we did not have to wait long for the food to be served. I think the wait was for less the 12 mintues. The food served to us was hot, very delicious and freshly made. We were once again bid farwell with warm smiles and good byes followed by comments, have a nice day and come and see soon againon our depature. I would definitely go back if I were ever passing that way and would reccomend anyone looking for a warm welcoming venue with great bunch of friendly staff with brilliant food and service. One of the best eating out experience I have endured in a long time.
Great food and service. Well done
Had the full english for brunch. Excellent food.
Delicious full English breakfast and the wife had a delicious vegan one too
This is my go-to place in Beaconsfield. The atmosphere is usually buzzing, whether you are there for dinner or drinks. The halloumi fries are and Im told the fish & chips is awesome. Always get good service - quick & friendly. Prices are reasonable, too.
massively extended and just reopened. GORGEOUS outside seating and dining areas - really lovely. Huge bar for evenings with late licence until 1am. All round really great. PS great breakfast too.
Awful establishment. The food was not nice and very bland. The attitude of the staff was atrocious. One of our party didnt want to eat anything but the 2 that did, both had food poisoning and stomach aches for days after. Dont be disguised by the big open space and the nice decor - its not enjoyable and we would implore others to avoid!
We had a lovely meal, the staff made my 8 month old granddaughter very welcome, she loved watching the chefs, the food was brilliant, we will definitely go back.
Nice setting a place where you can pop in by yourself or with a group of friends and feel comfortable. There is a separate restaurant area.Would recommend and will return when in the area.
All the staff we came across need customer training. This was my first visit, and I will not be rushing back.
Good size portions (see childs pizza!) and very tasty. Prices above average, but very clean and well presented venue, with friendly staff.
Great place for some drinks, great food & an excellent place to work. Good wifi, enough outlets & plenty of space.
Leigh was a great server
Quite a horrific experience. A few food options were out of stock. Service was quite bad and slow especially for a Monday when business is quiter. My food was also cold when arrived Food
Good meal with a group of work colleagues.
A big lovely building with plenty of seating. We found the food ok. But small portions at high prices. Staff were friendly.
Really good food and service, a great place to have lunch
Lovely atmosphere, friendly staff, lovely seating area at the front, and very nice decor
We had a surprisingly good breakfast here. 4 of us ate here and we all had something different, everyone said how good it was. I say surprisingly because when we visited a few years ago it was very badly run.
Went for brunch. Super delicious food and what was very important...there is a lot of gluten-free food.
Silly breakfast pricing policy if you re vegetarian. Full English with bacon, and sausage and eggs one price. Vegan breakfast the same price. But if you want a veggie breakfast with eggs but not meat it s £3 extra. Mad.
Lovely brunch with family. Staff, particularly Leigh, couldnt have been more lovely with my sister in a wheelchair. Kid-friendliness: Staff were lovely, kids menus Wheelchair accessibility: Great access
Lovely place for coffee with friends. Would like to see porridge back on breakfast menu. Quite sourdough/ bread heavy.
Food ok but had to wait 2.5 hours for a lunch with kids!
Brilliant Service
Great venue, good location and cosy with great drinks choices with an accompanying food menu which is perfect pub grub
Breakfast ok, dinner very disappointing.
Nice food, very slow service and very expensive
Great food in a great setting
Gluten free burger is 10/10 Dietary restrictions: Lots of gluten free options! Food : 5/5 |
Lovely holiday dining experience! Everyone was so kind and accommodating. Would most definitely go again.
We had such a lovely time here, get the French martini from Connor. Great service and lovely atmosphere
I was served by a lovely young trainee, Felix. He was attentive and well spoken. Would go again.
Took the grandkids last Sunday evening and they loved it. Great food, service and ambiance. Thoroughly enjoyed it.
A very inefficient and awkward member of staff served us. Very slow, over 20 minutes to get bill paid which caused me to miss my train. Too cold in the dining area fir such a cold day. Food was tasty, tad expensive. My friend was served cold and partially raw chips. Lots of young staff which is great but not trained properly. One person came to our table to see if we had finished - we said we had but they didnt take away the empty plates - really !!!?
