It s really a terrace, it s very windy. It was cold Very long service, even though we were almost alone. He was out of fish...no more peppers... Very disappointed we went there for the fish taco Lots of frying. The sweet potato fries are good.

I had a good time tonight. Monday night beers with a sunset is the vibe. Waitress blew my mind. I ll definitely be back!

A bit bummed that a restaurant on the side of the water didnt have fish and chips (out of it). This place is more of a bar and less of a restaurant. The staff was nice but it took a very long time(but we were 12 people)

I loved this restaurant. The service was excellent, the waitress was great. The view was beautiful. The drinks were pretty good too. Highly recommend going to the Pier Patio if you are in Belleville.

Was really looking forward to trying here today! My best friend and I got to the restaurant this afternoon. Prime location for sure. They were busy but it wasn t anything that looked out of hand by any means. 3 tables sat down AFTER us including a couple outside with a couple of dogs (I do like that they allowed this!). The three tables that were seated AFTER us all had their orders taken. Including the 1 table they got their drinks and then even ordered food. We had no acknowledgment by any server. There was no I ll be right with you . Nothing. After about 15-20 minutes we walked out can t say I d be willing to try it again but we ll see.

Awesome pub food, in a great location. I always look forward to the peir opening for the season. The loaded fries are my favourite! The other menu items are also really yummy & everything t is reasonably priced. I enjoy sitting outside by the water while dining & take out has always been great too. :)

Weve been here many times and had a good experience, but not this season! Over an hour for food and then stone cold! Understaffed and not experienced. Hopefully, itll improve over the summer.

Best view in town! Food is good too from what Ive ordered here, but my friends tonight had a less pleasant serving. When brought to the attention of our server though her manager replaced the item at no cost so that was great of them. I always love going here every summer when theyre open and the set up they had this year due to COVID-19 was really nice. I hope it actually stays like this with seats along the water going forward too.

The smooth sailing burger was fantastic. Besides burger revolution it was the best burger Ive had in a long time. But the price...youre paying for the ambiance because with two drinks each we walked out of there less a $100.

This is a spectacular spot to sit and enjoy the view with a cold drink. Food is almost all fried pup fare, but thats not a bad thing if youre into that.

One of my favorites. Camt get any closer to the beautiful bay of quinte unless you get in! Laid back atmosphere paired with your typical pub style food. Staff is always friendly. Food is always fresh #illbeback

Love the view and friendly service. onion rings are perfect and crunchy. I was satisfied with the fish tacos. Ordered a poutine and it was ok. Gravy was kinda cold. The burger was cold and dry. Not a fan of plastic cutleries and little plastic cups for the drink. Ask for ketchup but server was on rushed and forgot it. The food came so slow, it was like 20-30 minutes of waiting. But the view of the bay is fantastic.

Just paid $16+ for fish tacos with a sliver of fish on each, maybe $1.50 total but tons of lettuce. When we complained, we were told they d do something for us. After we ate it they said because we ate it, we pay full price. Not impressed

The server has a lot of attitude. We asked for recommendation she said whats in the menu is in the menu

Very expensive for meal paper plates plastic knives and forks and packaged condiments. Waitress was good, however just like a takeout restaurant. Chicken wrap had hardly any chicken mostly lettuce and bacon bits

Had lunch with family there on outside patio. It was nice that we were allowed to bring our dogs. Staff brought water bowls for them and refilled the water when empty. Fish tacos, Philly cheese steak and burgers were a hit

Disappointed with the quantity of throw away plastic and take-away feeling for a sit-down experience. The vibe of this scenic location is squashed by the handfuls of ketchup packets and plastic cutlery thrown out on the table. The food was good, but unfortunately this place must truck out a lot of garbage every day.

Mostly enjoyed the atmosphere being on the middle of the lake etc. Love the water. Kid-friendliness: Big open space but watch your children of they are small

First ever time at The Pier and sad to say it will most likely be my last. Took my wife there for our Anniversary, I thought it was a nice romantic spot, but I was wrong. The food was okay and the gravy on my wife s poutine looked like it was a week old, fairly expensive, cob webs everywhere you look which should be taken care of every morning before opening, and the waitress wasn t too friendly and helpful, she never asked if we wanted another drink. The most positive thing I can say about this place is that it s on the water. I m sorry to the owner and staff about this review but I was pretty disappointed.

Love the lake front atmosphere. Food was poor. Ordered fish taco came with a sliver of fish no bigger than my pinky finger. Ordered burger and it was under cooked. Not one to complain unless waitress asks how meal is. Waitress didnt ask and we had to eventually go to counter to get check. Compliments on the Caesar though it was great!

Food was disappointing...they have a great view and sit in a beautiful location. They can do better with food and service.

Gas station (very bad) quality food. Such a shame, its a very beautiful place to stop when visiting Bellville. The place is not maintained, but this could even be overlooked if not for the horrible food. Well have to be pretty desperate to be dining here again.

Wonderful views! Cute little patio restaurant on a wharf in Belleville. Great sunsets. The food is just okay and typical pub type fare. It would be great to have a more upscale restaurant in addition to this more casual one for special occasions like birthdays, anniversaries etc. The atmosphere just screams relaxing, romantic, and has a vacation vibe to it!

Stopped for dinner, great location on the water. Location is open to the elements so plan on going on a warm day. Hanna was a awesome, friendly and helpful.

Lovely place to enjoy water view, good food, very good service. It was a chilly day though so a hot beverage would have been a nice option. Will happily go back though.

Fish tacos and Greek salad. Very tasty, love cilantro. The plastic cup for my wine and utensils in a bag were a bit odd, eating outside, these items tend to blow away easier, and would be more harmful than real cutlery if fallen into the drink.

Service was excellent. We had the chicken quesadilla and the spring rolls. They were absolutely to die for. We will definitely be back.

Staff very friendly. We only stayed for a drink, to check it out, to bring out of town company, visiting soon. Had a look at the menu, it looks great! Will definitely go back again!

Food was great. Service was excellent. Prices are reasonable. Atmosphere and views were tremendous.

Food was bland and boring. They forgot tomato in my wrap so it was just frozen chicken fingers and lettuce. Service was okay. She was in no rush to get us our drinks or take our order. 1 wrap was over $10 and fries were an extra $6. The mixes drinks were 70% ice. We will not be back.

If you were looking for a nice dinner by the water, this place is not it. Its not a bar and grill; its basically a snack bar that also serves booze. Paper plates and disposable plastic cutlery. Food was terrible. The wind was so bad (even in the covered/indoor part) that the paper plates and food were blowing all over the table. And for that, the bill was over $60 for two people, and we did not order alcohol. I dont suggest going here. Im actually astounded that this place has so many four- and five-star reviews. Only redeeming factor was our server; she was great.

The food is ok but the place is incredibly wasteful. Plastic cutlery. Plastic cups & straws. Single use condiments. What gives?

Prime location! You cant beat this spot for a waterside pub meal! Service was very pleasant and food was made quickly. Arrived around 515pm and it wasnt overly busy at that time, by 630 there was a one hour wait time. For perspective though it was a Friday night in amazing weather. Food was really quite good thoguh, and I would highly recommend this restaurant.

The view is very good!! In the evening, with the sunset, its great! Very good food, for fast food.

The cocktail and food selection was fairly simple and fun. I had one mushroom burger. It was a good amount, not too much or too little.

Was very busy so service wasnt incredible but the server was super nice and ended up taking some charges off bill for long delays. ordered a ceaser chicken wrap and a buffalo chicken wrap , both wraps had the equivalent of maybe 1 chicken finger between them and the lettuce was soggy... wouldnt recommend the wraps... Ive had the burger and poutine before and it was delicious.

Location is fantastic, with water all around. The service was good too. Was a little disappointed with the food. The Donair sandwich I had was mediocre, and very sloppy to eat. The side order of onion rings $5.75....was 5 onion rings. It could have been just a bad afternoon, but I was hoping for more.

Food takes extremely long to come, and definitely not worth $60 for a sandwich and wings. Our waitress (blonde) was extremely rude and never checked in on us. Never again. Sad, because the view is amazing

The location is so beautiful but the restaurant is not good. Plastic cutlery and subpar bar food. Slow service, even before it got busy. My friend ordered tacos with onion rings on the side, they charged an extra $5 and only got 5 rings in the order. There was also hair in one of the tacos, didnt get any apology for it and although they made another order of tacos it didnt come out for another 20-30 mins. Would not return. Its sad that a restaurant at such a beautiful location has such bad service and food.

Took ao long for the food to arrive, and it was cold when it did. Drinks were good though.

Food quality was good but donair salad had literally two bites of donair and overall portions I felt were small for the price. Also really not a fan of all the plastic cutlery.

Food was edible at best. Took 2 and a half hours to get our orders. We were a large group but when we got our food most of our food was cold. Manager fought with us instead of trying to de escalate the situation. The only reason they are getting one star is for the view.

Had fun, and saw a good blues band. Id recommend this place. It is no frills. Picnic table and cheap drinks.

Nice airy spot in the water at the marina.

The good thing is its the location... but be warned the sun is hitting hard if you want to sit closer to the water during daytime. Also seagal was flying inside at some point - thats was not very nice either... Menu pretty basic. Food is ok. Waiters are ok. The name of the restaurant should be Lower expectations... oh and no glass, wine in a plastic cup just seems kind of overpriced... Edit. Visited again, twice. Both times experience was mych better than the first. Upgraded to 5 stars.

Phase one of reopening. June 2021. Multiple tables of more than 4. One Table of 10!!! What the? Bartender wearing mask on his forearm! HIS FOREARM. Nothing on his face. The other bartender- no mask at all on her face. Come on. This isn t a new concept. Super disappointing considering how other restaurants in Belleville are doing their best to follow the guidelines. Grubby. Windows to the water dirty. Looks run down. For such a beautiful spot in Belleville you d think they would be trying a little harder. Who s managing this place?

Four of us went there and were told there is one more party of two waiting ahead of us. I observed the two ladies get a table then approached staff to ask if I could have the next table which I observed being vacated. She said she would come right back. I then saw another staff give a table to a group of two then she proceeded to give another table to a group of four and never came to us. These two groups came after us. Will not go there again.

Good food, a tad expensive vs the quality but good and fast service and located on waterside which is a big plus. The live musician/singer was a nice add-on to our evening. No reservations so get there early if you dont want to wait too long for a table.

Cold beer, great food

NO SERVICE!!! food took forever, once food did come waiter NEVER came back to refill our drinks or check on the food. We had NO NAPKINS, NO CONDIMENTS and NO DRINKS with our meal. We ate on plastic plates, plastic cups and utensils. NOT WORTH THE $87.00 BILL!!!! Would NOT recommend this establishment to anyone. Very disappointing!!!!!

Good service, friendly, decent prices. Food is ok, but you get a great view and breeze on a hot day. They need to do a good sweep of all the spider webs before opening each day and also should invest in nicer table and (more comfortable) chairs. Needs a facelift with some nice touches.

Right on the pier,lovely waitress provided excellent service, even while pregnant she did a better job then most wait staff!,good food ,nice and hot ,had poutine w real curd (the right way ) and quesidilla, which I order alot, this was way better then the lone star quesidilla. I didnt pay so not sure about pricing.

The food was really good and the waitress was lovely. The view is stunning too. I would give 5 stars, but I can t. I find it beyond distasteful as well as wasteful that they are using plastic cups, forks, spoons, etc at this restaurant. I know it is COVID, but this is the only restaurant that I have been to that is doing this. It is so beyond wasteful. There s no reason that they shouldn t be able to properly clean their regular cutlery and cups (and if there is an issue with that, they shouldn t be operating at all). This is pure lazyness. You do not need to use single serve plastic to be hygienic . Cut out the disposable cutlery and cups, there s no excuse for this, especially in 2021.... it left a bad taste in my mouth (which is too bad because the food was really good). Time to step up the common sense at the management level. I won t be returning.

The view cannot be beat. We just passed by to watch the euro final and have some food before heading back to Toronto from Montreal. The food is decent and the drinks are on the pricier side but still good stuff. Friendly and attentive staff as well.

Great place for a drink

The location cannot be beat! A great place to enjoy open air eating by the water. Food is good, although service is a little slow. Servers are friendly. Dont expect luxury, as every is served in plastic, including the utensils, which may be an issue for environmentalist. Prices are a little high, but you are ultimately paying for the location, which cant be beat.

Sooooooooooooo good. I was really impressed with the quality of the burgers and poutine. Very very good and cheap prices. The seating is plentiful and I right on the water. I really enjoyed it. So nice.

- Great location, our staff were friendly, wait time for food and drinks was quick. Caesar cocktail was really good but disappointed it came in plastic cup. Happy with all the food, salad, sweet pot fries, burger, poutine, samosas, except the flat bread of fish tacos was burnt and hard so difficult to eat. No plates, just plastic baskets, plastic forks, plastic cups, very casual, felt like fast food restaurant. If you are expecting that then youll be happy.

Visited from out of town and came as we were looking for live music. Its a decent space and the service is okay. Having musicians is a plus, its your average expected pub type venue. No crazy fanfare but nothing disappointing either.

Perhaps the most beautiful spot in Belleville. Staff are always super friendly.

Nice location. The server was good. The food was adequate. Hated that every condiment for our table of 4 had those stupid little packs, no nice dips for onion rings etc... Much better choices in this city than this.

I m surprised this place has as good as reviews as it does. I don t write reviews usually but this place was full of cob webs and spiders, no upkeep to it at all. Everything was disposable (cutlery, cups, etc.) Washrooms were disgusting. The food wasn t even that good, The chicken tasted fake and gross. The only reason we stayed was because everything else in Belleville was closed by 8/9pm. We came in at the marina just passing through, really wish we didn t.

Food took 30-35 minutes on a monday afternoon when restaurant wasnt busy. server was nice Have an old time home fridge in the open kitchen which wasnt a good sign. Spiders in the hallway to the bathrooms. Cocktails came in a plastic cup, cutlery and drinks were plastic. Come on now. View was nice. Quesadillas were average, a little burnt. The fries were reheated because our food took so long to come out and they were trash. Quality was very subpar.

(Referring to the reviews, making a joke haha) This place was an amazing for a great night out on the pier with live music, the waitress was absolutely awesome. The food was great I plan on coming back! All around good spot. Ill definitely be coming next year when they open for the summer again !

Terrific breakfast. Had the smoked salmon bagel plate. GF had the regular breakfast..eggs...home fries etc. Lovely view too. Excellent service.

Very nice little spot at the time anyway and outta nowhere there was some acoustic guitar playing live. It got pretty cool fast but that was just the one night, meh bring a jacket on the car or what have you but other than that it was great tasting she the service was very great.
