Lately most of my visits to Panera have been disappointing. I only started visiting this year because I was tired of Tim Hortons. The first few visits were fantastic, but lately the quality and presentation are lacking. Today I got an asiago bagel with plain cream cheese. When I opened it, it was very dark, almost burnt in some places, and there was barely any cream cheese (which was a big reason I stopped going to Tim's). I also often get the chipotle chicken avocado breakfast sandwich. In recent visits, the sandwich seems to have shrunk, have barely any chicken or skimped on other topping, and several times the avocado has been very brown and gross looking. I may not be visiting Panera much more since I keep being disappointed.
Had a great experience at Panera Bread in Belleville, I tried their grilled sandwich, customized with avocado, and paired it with a blueberry lemonade and tomato soup in a bread bowl, which was unique and delicious. The staff were super helpful, offering recommendations and making sure we got the perfect order. Highly recommend for both the food and the friendly service
Always a lovely experience at Panera’s! Lots of healthy choices for you and your family and friends.
Went out for lunch with my Mom here last Sat. The food is always pretty good. It hit the spot on the cool day we were having with soup and sandwich. Broccoli cheddar is always an easy choice. The chicken bacon ranch sammy was great. I tore it apart and tossed it all in my soup.
The Asiago Cheese bagel is amazing!!! It's so cheesy, fluffy on the inside, and perfectly crispy on the outside! The Kitchen Sink cookie was one of the best cookies I've ever had! It's super full of chocolate chunk and toffee pieces, and topped with flakes of salt. I already want another one! We got two Asiago Cheese bagels with extra Herb and Garlic Cream Cheese and a giant Kitchen Sink cookie for only $15! It's a super clean & cute place with friendly staff. We left stuffed and satisfied!
I stopped here on the way from Toronto to Montreal and it’s a good place for a break on your road trip. The bakery/café serves sandwiches and salads and it’s known for its bread which was pretty good. I tried the cold sandwich ‘Tuna Salad’ and I liked it, also the hot sandwich ‘Toasted Steak & White Cheddar’ was quite tasty. I didn’t like the potato chips combo, the idea of having a sandwich with chips from a bag it’s not very appealing to me. I got also unsweetened ice tea and I loved it, you can always do a refill. The place was not crowded and hence, there was no waiting line. Staff was very friendly and toilets are pretty clean.
Came here for lunch on my way from Toronto to Montreal. The place was not busy on lunch time and waiting time was minimum. I had a tuna salad sandwich which was a bit disappointing because it lacked salt and taste. Also the bun was a bit too hard for my taste. The combo with potato chips is a very good one, I really enjoyed it.
Bit pricey, but food is worth it. Nice comfortably lit setting, with plenty of seating. Casual atmosphere. Plenty of sandwich and pastry options, along with soups and salads, plus a very wide selection of drinks. They have several varieties of coffees and hot teas, plus some specialty hot drinks (mochas etc...). Fountain pop with Pepsi products, and a selection of iced teas and some lemonades (the iced tea here is a real brewed tea, not the artificially flavored stuff you get from a bottle). Staff are friendly and professional. Overall highly recommend eating here.
I always enjoy going to Panera but yesterday was thoroughly disappointed. I am on a restricted diet (gluten and lactose) so felt safe ordering the homestyle chicken noodle soup. I enquired if they could replace the bun with gluten free. They do not carry any gluten free products but cashier suggested another bread that many order. I could not eat it. I dont think people understand when you have an intolerance to some foods you cannot eat them. But the soup was my biggest disappointment. I was served a bowl FULL of large, curly noodles (not gluten free) in chicken broth with maybe 2 tiny pieces of chicken...that was it. No vegetables. I am sorry to say but it was not what you would call homestyle. All I could have was the broth. Next time I will go to Swiss Chalet for chicken noodle soup, and try something else at Panera. The service was wonderful and the atmosphere is always lovely. Maybe it was just a bad day from the soup pot.
Great place for a quick lunch
So I went there for lunch. Now I love Panera already, however my brother ordered a grilled cheese and it wasnt grilled as much as it was supposed to be. But when we went up to ask for it to be grilled a bit more they said we will make you a new whole grilled cheese despite you already have eaten half of it. That shows that Panera respects people and shows proper restaurant etiquette. I would recommend that anyone who wants fresh food, good service, and an excellent environment to eat. Goto Panera
Soup and sandwich for a quick business lunch.
No one eating in ordered to go lettuce could be fresher only one tiny container for Salad dressing barely a tablespoon smaller soup and sandwiches portions less quality ingredients baguette still amazing wish they would bring back their flatbread pizza was so good
Quality of the food is going down
First time Panera Bread order - tasted alright, service was great but coffee was awful...order your hot drink elsewhere.
Salty.
It was ok.
Love panara bread! When you dont feel like a greasy burger... this is the way to go! The Mac and cheese is amazing and the broccoli soup is to die for! UPDATE- worst Ceaser Salad I have EVER had! The sauce had no flavor, tasted like wet soggy lettuce and who doesnt put bacon in their ceaser salad!?! Honestly the worst salad I have EVER had anywhere!
What a great meal! healthy and great quality food.
Inexpensive food for lunch.
A very beautiful place for a venue.
Convenient drive-through in Belleville for health conscious takeout food. Everything is always delicious!
Waiting 10 minutes for a watery, luke warm Americano is nit the standard that Panera has.
Getting a little run down inside, but staff and food made up for it.
Went in for lunch with friends today and all of us were very impressed. Delicious food very reasonable kid friendly and very friendly staff. Food
Too pricey ...tasty sandwich but barely nothing in it and no milk for tea, second time and disappointed
Fast, fresh and tasty! Real food made from real food, and nicely presented at fair prices. My favorite Quick Lunch Spot in Belleville. Conveniently located in the Bell Boulevard shopping area.
Never disappoints. Always tasty and reasonably priced. Thank you.
Good cappucino
We love this restaurant. Great soup, salad and sandwiches.
I wanted a breakfast sandwich. Bored of the classic egg/cheese/English muffin combos at most joints today, I decided to switch it up and try one of Paneras. Ive had there bagels before but this was my first time ordering a breakfast sandwich. I got the chipotle chicken, egg, and avocado breakfast sandwich. .... It. Was. Amazing. A toasted and crispy ciabatta bun, bites of Chipotle chicken, cheese, avocado, peppers, soft scrambled egg, and just a bit of cilantro. It peppers gave it some heat but the avocado perfectly balances that. And the cilantro adds just that little something extra. Will be ordering again!
I got an insect in my sandwich
good but expensive
Manager is pretty nice.
Delicious food, large portions. We shared a salad and sandwich.
Great place for soup sandwich or a salad. Scones are yummy. Just a tad pricey Food
Nice coffee! I got the Crunch Cinnamon Latte. Huge and delicious!
We come here pretty often for nice treats with our 2yo. The friendly staff were really helpful with a recent card issue we had.
Lovely space, clean and delicious food. Varied menu and something for everyone. The only downfall is their hot water for tea, and sometimes even their coffee isnt hot enough. I think they use a thermos as opposed to container with a heating coil. I would like to see them consistently boil water.
Everything is so gross here, it s just expensive hospital food. Order always wrong, things missing or just ruined.
This was my first time ever at Panera. I went through the drive thru. Ive been on the hunt for a good bagel for breakfast, and Panera delivered! I got the asiago bagel with plain cream cheese. It was crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and they did not skimp on the cream cheese! I also got a frozen caramel cold brew, which was just as tasty. Since I used drive thru, I cant speak for the customer service or atmosphere as there wasnt much interaction with staff. A bit on the pricey side (almost $12 for the two items) but it was definitely tasty.
I loved it all. Had lunch with a friend and we enjoyed this place. Soups are especially good.
I freque t this place simply for their London Fog tea. It is quite good. I have tried several other meals, but its just not my liking, and I feel the prices are inflated . The price of the London fog is excellent.
I havent been into panera in years and now I see why. The place was next to empty, yet there was no coffee, light or dark roast or milk for the coffee, the staff could barely speak to take the order. Not overly impressed. Definitely not how it used to be.
I ve been ordering my lunch from here and the food is pretty delicious all the time, and the service is pretty fast, just the drive-thru I find slower then ordering inside.
Poor representation for food items what is included on sandwich or forgotten items. I ordered a baguette sandwich to go which wasn t cut in half.
Good soup selection!
Kind of dingy dining area and most things arent kept very clean.
Pleasant atmosphere for a nice, sit down meal. Food was good as were the drinks. If they brought back the roasted turkey apple and cheddar sandwich we would definitely be back more often.
A little pricey for two French onion soups and one sandwich $40.+
Great coffee and great service!
First time here and it was a very enjoyable place for a quick bite to eat. Tomato soup and grilled cheese were awesome.
I went into the Belleville location with a friend, got a chicken noodle soup and chipotle chicken avacado melt, it tasted horrible the chicken sandwich had no chipotle sauce at all, the chicken was hard. The chicken noodle was okay but had a weird taste to it. My friend got the chai drink as well and said it tasted like soap. I would not recommend this location.
Excellent food. Great service
I love that there s a owners bread in Belleville
Good selection.
Delicious first time I have tried this restaurant. Very good lunch place!
The soup is out of this world
I went and got some soup for my Mom who wasn t feeling well! She said it was delicious and they were fast and efficient!
Great food, as always. Service was not the best. Family member stood at the food pickup counter, waiting to ask for 2 takeout boxes. Staff looked at him, but no one approached to ask how they could help.
Fresh healthy lunch fare.
Panera has good food but incompetent staff
Love the Warm Mediterranean salad....so good !
Squash soup delicious Music a bit loud for conversation. Staff friendly and helpful Food
I was so glad that my favourite bagels (that are normally sold out) were available. Aurora and Amanda were both a pleasure to deal with!
Waiting 10m and thats with out a line up and left because no one show to the counter to take my command
Horrible caeser salad. Its has 2x as much lettuce stock as it does actual romaine. Crazy for the price they are charging. Wont be back.
My wife enjoys their soups, sandwiches and baked goods... I am not as big a fan. I find them over priced for the small potions sizes doled out.
Excellent
They asked my fiance to wear a mask. She did. But if I would have been there I would have refused. Masking should be a choice not a requirement !. A fast food restaurant is not a high risk setting. A nursing home or hospital is. Covid will always be around and as new strains come out they are getting weaker.
Busy. food was healthy.
The broccoli and chedder soup is awesome.
Eska water serving at the location no napkins in the bag $17 meal why is the cheap water it s $0.10 in food basic
Fresh have its own teast, love it.
This location has went downhill. Very disappointed.
Great quality options, we enjoyed our salad, sandwiches and orange scones!
Customer service is not here.
If I wanted to eat out of a brown paper bag I would not have come hereto pay your pricepoint. To have to return and beg for soup spoons...and have to go again for salt/pepper is bloody awesome. Sarcasm...the only tool left. Wont be back.
The sandwiches are always hot and well made. Taste delicious every time.
This used to be my favourite place to go to, the food was excellent, the place was always packed out, coffee on tap, you could refill as much as you wanted. I know Covid has made huge changes to shopping etc, but if you are supplying a service to customers the care should not lapse. My husband and I had lunch there approx two weeks ago, I won t go again until the service is back up to the original standard, we were so disappointed.
Pricey but good
Moved here from Toronto this summer and I love Panera Bread. But this store was absolutely terrible. The iced coffee was bitter. The cookies, scones and muffins were hard as rock. If there was something less than one star, that s what this store deserves. Terrible experience. Saw the manager/supervisor hitting one of the employees too. Wouldn t recommend anyone coming here to waste their money
Line always moves super slowly here but the food is very good. Some staff are nicer than others.
Vegetarian options: Margarita pizza is yummy Dietary restrictions: Can add or remove items on selections everything is made to order Parking: Lots of parking right outside Café Kid-friendliness: Have high chairs for little ones Wheelchair accessibility: Electronic doors
Healthy delicious meals. I ordered the creamy tomato soup with a side of French baguette. It came with butter and croutons. So healthy i felt great after my meal..
Amazing selection of food - I always find myself getting to much to eat here. The only downside I have found with Panera is there amazing cold teas - they used to have them out with the fountain pops so you could enjoy free refills, but thats tragically no longer an option.
When I took my coffee back as it wasnt hot I was directed to a microwave to reheat it! The door inside the restroom doesnt close properly and seems to be coming off the hinge and the toilet doesnt flush. Not the great experience it used to be. No service at all.
Very quick and delicious lunch..just enough and the Cafe latte was hot
excellent food, good seating, friendly & helpful staff, very relaxed atmosphere.
The food was amazing and the atmosphere was great. Will definitely be a repeat customer. Would definitely recommend especially their broccoli soup, it is amazing.
Best chocolate croissants ever. The sourdough bread is amazing
Americanized food. It is okay in a pinch. I do think that there is a reason it hasn t totally taken off in Canada. Nevertheless, I would likely choose this over Tim Hortons for food options.
The Butternut Soup was so delicious tasted homemade yummmmm great job
I love the autumn harvest soup. I had a pumpkin muffin to go with it. The staff in this restaurant were cheerful and helpful.
Just went through the drive thru. Easy, quick and really delicious. I had forgot how good the Broccoli soup was! The food was hot too! Thank you!
Good food
Bought my wife the green goddess chicken salad and myself the turkey avocado club. My sandwich was fine, my wifes salad had NO edible parts of lettuce. Black, brown, you name it. Nasty. Not worth my time to go back and get a new one, used my own lettuce at home so she could eat her lunch. Never going back, would recommend only to enemies and those who enjoy rotten lettuce.
After waiting in the drive-thru for 20min which I think is very slow service not one item that my son and I ordered was correct!! I m giving them only one star for terrible customer service the order should ve been entered in properly and if it was than the person handing out the food to be should ve checked the food was correct before it left the window.
The food is good no inside dining as of yet just nice for a change
Always great customer service
Like the drinks!!
I needed a great place in Belleville for a salad and I finally found one. I ordered the Green Goddess Cobb Salad with Chicken for $12.99 and it came with a piece of French Baguette with butter and I absolutely loved it. You get 2 of this size when they run out of the normal large size. I ordered ahead of time online with curbside pickup, and that was fast and convenient too. All of the ingredients were extremly fresh as you can see and I would definitely recommend it. Cant wait to try something else from here! I just tried a toasted asiago bagel with butter and it was awesome too.
Extremely Good!! Every time
Great Catering Option - Rob the Manager was very helpful and our guests enjoyed their catered lunch from Panera.
Best sandwiches ever
Sandwich was OK and expensive. Nothing special for me
Food is good. For the price it better be though.
Service I have found slow and a bit cold:/
I used to love this place , however in the last few visits not so much. From plastic in my soup to spoiled cheese on my sandwich and a few sandwiches missing bacon and so on I m very disappointed. I called about the soup and they replaced it thank god I didn t choke on that.. the rotting cheese on my sandwich today is the last straw. I don t want a replacement sandwich I ll go spend my money elsewhere.
The staff at Panera bread Bell Boulevard in Belleville, just made me the most delicious turkey and avocado sandwich with this beautiful strawberry and poppy seed salad on the side, ... Fantastico
Service is awful as is the selection of pastries and bread. It is so I am told due to demend and also due to Covid19 restrictions.
I tried their pizzas they were amazing. I loved their Mac and chicken sandwiches! Best purchases this month.
The worse food and service ever....order chicken soup the stated they had it once at the window to pay they only had 1 then they offered me another soup came back didnt have it until they offered me onion soup the chicken soup was so bad my girlfriend that was sick made her worse it tasted like they dropped the salt shaker in it my opinion the worse food ever also my sandwich I had to peel the paper off it wow .the worse food ever never again I should have taken the food back
Nice staff !! Little slow service
try the cherry vanilla bagels
the staff here are working so hard and doing a great job despite being painfully understaffed. Panera bagels are always perfect
The most annoying customer service, we went to the drive through and waited for 10 mins and there were 3 cars before us. She took the orders of the 3 cars and when it was out turn she told us they are closed at 6:54 and we said why it s not 7 yet she said we are closed because we have orders to do and stopped answering us. It s so clear they have no respect for their customers
NOT impressed. We were out getting a few item, lunch time came, we were close to Panera on Bell Blvd. in Belleville, ON, and had never been there, so we figured ok, lets see what they have. Not quite sure what the two prices on each menu item meant, we asked ... the cashier was behind a plexi sheet, and wearing a mask. She could have said the moon was a blue cheese, we couldnt make out anything. Opting for one warm and one cold sandwich, we both heard her ask if we wanted mumble or apple slices. Having only understood apple, we chose that. The cold sandwich, a turkey blt with avocado .. fell apart as soon as I opened the wrapper. And for the exhorbitant price, the amount of mayo was ... as if theyd slapped the back of a teaspoon in the jar and then onto two spots on the bread slice! What? Did they run out?? Dry doesnt even begin to describe it. The warm sandwich wasnt much better, but we both said that for the price, we were eating it all. But there will be no return to this place! Oh, and the apple slices? Minute bags of kettle cooked potato chips. Never again Panera !
First time customer, order mix up but food was good.
The staff we very polite and executed my orders in a very timely manner.
They have excellent French onion soup, and their Asian chicken salad is also very good.
I feel horrible for the employees that work here. The supervisor or manager (wasn t able to catch his name) was extremely short with the staff. The kitchen seemed quite chaotic when I was there. It was quite busy, but I think the manager needs to take the time to properly train his employees and also learn to treat them with some respect. Food was good (had the manager treated the employees nicer, would have given 4-5 stars).
Horrendous drive thru experience tonight. Was the only of 2 vehicles in the line up, was told cash only, which was fine, and we literally for 25 minutes for a bowl of mac&cheese. We, along with at least 4 cars behind us, drove off without food because it took SO long with zero communication from the staff. When they finally opened the window for the van ahead of us they didnt even know what they ordered, and then started adding things. if youre that short staffed, say something. Mention that there will be a wait. What was supposed to be a pit stop on the way home on a completely empty stomach, turned into a waste of half an hour lol Panera: please hire more staff and train the ones you have to communicate kitchen issues to the customer. I will not be back here
Honestly this place is kinda meh. I dont get all the hype.
Always fresh and tasty
Food is always fresh and served quickly, but portion sizes seem to keep getting smaller and quite often menu items are unavailable.
Great turkey chili but sandwiches a bit bland.
I love Panarea
The service sucks.
Good food, but expect to spend some money.
Their meals never disappoint
Too expensive for me
The green goddess salad is awesome
Vegetables are excellent
Food good, service good, order was mixed up and tables and chairs need to be cleaned more.
Very tasty products.
My favourite place for a quick fresh lunch. Prices are reasonable and staff have always been super friendly.
Way to expensive. No combos available. They have what appears to be combos which they advertise as pick 2, but there is really no savings. My last meal cost $17 through a drive through......... I could have had an actual sit down lunch for that price with tip! The $17 lunch was also small. Half a sandwich and a little bowl of macaroni, with a lemonade. I won t be returning. Many other non chains in town where you can get a better meal for cheaper.
Great food, thats all you cN say. Unfortunately though no in house seating yet due to Covid 19
Love Panera and their food. This location always has great service.
Chai Latte tea is delicious as well as their food
Every time i come by this place i almost get in an accident because all pf the customers drive 60 sideways through the parking lot. Cut people off and almost back out in front of oncoming traffic. The most inconsiderate un attentive drivers all congregate here. Does the food make them stupider or are they just already so low functioning. Fire whoever designed your parking lot/drive through. Yikes.
The food is fantastic. I am giving it 4 stars because twice now I have been charged for avocado as an extra I asked for, but didnt receive it on my sandwich. The manager was pleasant to speak with and offered me $3.00 off my order and a pastry. Love this store being here in Belleville! :)
Didnt realize there was a drive thru there. Good service and the food was just as good as eating inside, even though we ate in our car. Thank you
Great variety of breads
It s alright
Always good, healthy, food and drinks at Paneras.
Overpriced and their fruits and veggies are not fresh all the time. No nutrition info on website or menu
App doesnt work to order but good rewards. Love the cookies and sandwiches.
Busy place
One of my favorite places to have lunch. The food is delicious. The butternut squash soup is amazing and a must try. It is a popular spot at lunch time with long line ups and tables are not always available. When I was there recently ppl were leaving because there was no where to sit and enjoy your lunch.
Has been a good year or so since Ive been and I have to admit they have improved a lot, definitely worth the cost, the food is great.
Terrible experience!! Totally turned off!! Spent $50 there for two sandwiches and a small soup and small Mac and cheese. Steak and cheese hot sandwich was cold. They both seemed to be pre-made and just taken out of the fridge and thrown on a grill for a minute. One of my favourite places gone bad!!
Great clean place food is good
Great place for lunch. Good coffee too!!
Great mac and cheese
Great service and staff
The Belleville Panera has excellent staff and the food is always great!
Love this place my new place to eat at....
The food at Panera is always five star but it is a little bit on the high side of the price spectrum. This is negated by the fact that is top quality and you do not leave hungry as it is very nutritional and filling. The employees are always willing to help and are very friendly. Kudos to Tina at the Belleville store, she is a five star employee.
The food is always great. Fantastic place for a relaxing meal.
Great food but a little pricey:(
