What a hidden gem, this place is. We ordered an appetizer..the Greek Bruschetta..best bruschetta we have ever had. Large portions, great staff and very very reasonably priced. Our server told us that their homemade desserts are going to be expanded very soon as they have a pastry chef that has recently started.

What a great place with great people. We prebooked for a group of 80. With some preplanning with Cheryl, with a limited main meal selection in advance , the restaurant REALLY delivered . Amazing service , speed of service and a GREAT attitude from the staff . They were rushed off their feet but did so with smiles and laughter . Massive thanks to the team.. you totally ROCKED !!!! Overall disappointing experience. Turkey was tough and dry, soggy overcooked beans and carrots. A mound of stuffing. Not hot. Fish and chips - batter overcooked but fish slightly undercooked (cooking oil too hot)

We went on a weeknight with the family. The service is super friendly and attentive. Even with my daughters multiple allergies, she was able to eat what she wanted. The food is delicious, fresh and the portions are generous.

My 2 kids and myself went here for dinner. It was so so good and prices cant be beat! The only thing we didnt like was the poutine, gravy was too thin and not hot enough so the cheese didnt melt. They use real curds though. So next time we will skip upgrading to poutine but other than that it was absolutely delicious! Highly recommend. Kid-friendliness: Kids eat free on mon and Tues after 4pm. Was a pleasant surprise when we got our bill

A wonderful family restaurant, something for the kids and the big kids. Probably the best prices, quantity and quality of food in a local family friendly place. I ve had the early bird breakfast many times, the club sandwich for lunch and the steak for supper. Consistently good food, service can be inconsistent - bring that coffee pot around more often. Kid-friendliness: Good choice of menu items for the little ones.

I came back to order take out after having an amazing meal in person a few months ago. I love their Greek skewer meal. The chicken is perfectly cooked and seasoned, rice is fluffy, tzatziki is amazing. The portion is very big - enough for lunch the next day. I will keep coming back just for this meal alone. And the servers have been very friendly both times.

This all but too familiar place on hwy 62 Belleville is not only the best atmosphere, the food is outstanding! If you have never been, you must go. If you go, then you know that this place is a true gem!

Always friendly. Good pretty consistently excellent. Servers are awesome. Highly recommend. Weve been going here for years and years. More parking behind the building. Until recently I had not noticed this.

Stopped in for lunch with a buddy on a whim. So glad we stopped here. The Reuben sandwich is outstanding!!!! Great service and fantastic staff. Will definitely be making this a regular spot to stop when in the area!!!! Thank you Northway!!!!!!

Hadnt been there for years. Fancied Chicken Parm but they wouldnt do baked potato so ordered take out fish and chips. NEVER been so disgusted!. Fish smelled off, fries were tossed into the container over the fish ( no fancy placement here!). The coleslaw had no lid on it and was so wilted and brown, I gagged...smelled off also. Fries werent even luke warm and after 3 small bites of the questionable fish, I threw the whole dinner in the trash. I might have nibbled on the dinner roll had it COME with one. NASTY and will never go back

The food was great, like always. Dont ask for French vanilla, lol. The inside needs to be fixed, imo It reminds me of an unfinished basement . But other than that, it was a good experience. Parking: It could be hard to find a spot in the mornings

I am so disappointed with my Skip order from here. I paid $17 for a poutine and when it got here... I was a deer in headlights, because it was sooo small! The Cobb salad was... confusing. They gave my boyfriend old sugar packets with chunky, stuck together sugar. I did not receive the extra cheese I paid for on my chicken parmesan. The only ones not disappointed were my kids! You can see a photo of the tiny, $17 poutine in the restaurants photos. I am unable to add photos in this review.

Steak is severely over cooked and cant send it back because my waitress hasnt been around. My son ordered sausages and they are burnt. Idk why people deep fry them. Turn the grill on the taste is so much better. Update the waitress told me that how we cook rare here. Definitely medium well. These ratings are based on temperatures.

The meals were hot and not cold and soggy. My mom ordered fish and chips and there was a large piece of fish and the fries and fish were nice and crispy. My rueben was very hot and good as well. The servers are friendly and the restrooms are clean. Food : 5/5

Breakfast was ok, wife found the bacon paper thin and greasy. Server was very friendly and on point, my concern was we were seated for a bit watching people beside us getting refills on their coffee. A simple server will be right with you would have help us not assume we were forgotten about. They do have a few unique menu items that I don t see very often though .. jury is out on this one.

Arrived at 11 am for breakfast. Front parking lot was full and we had to park in the back of the back lot cause it was so full. I looked at my partner and debated leaving because we thought it would be too busy but I REALLY wanted Northways breakfast so we went in. Despite being busy, there were still some tables left open and we were able to get seated and get our orders into the kitchen without delay. The food was exactly what we ordered, came out HOT and within a regular amount of wait time. I unfortunately dont have a photo to share today as I was too hungry. Lol Its now 11:55 and I am writing this review from my car...full and happy! 5

WOW! First experience yesterday, and I hope to repeat it often. GREAT breakfast fare, and am looking forward to trying everything there. The place was busy for good reason! You certainly couldnt tell it was packed by the service though. Felt like being the only people there, and having full attention of the entire team. All of them friendly, and dedicated to an enjoyable experience. Food was great, of sizeable proportion, but the bill reflected a nearly forgotten era. Thank you team at Northway!

I came here this Saturday morning for breakfast, visiting my sister who lives in Belleville. I was so impressed by the excellent & speedy service, tasty food, and reasonable prices. Alicia was so friendly and wonderful! I will definitely be back! Its a great sign when the staff at a restaurant seems genuinely happy to be there.

Had a great club sandwich and fries for lunch ..real turkey!! Our server Rebecca was friendly and attentive.. friendly atmosphere..

My daughter and I went for lunch on a Thursday afternoon at around 2 pm. There were hardly any customers in the restaurant. Our server came by and took our drink and food order. A simple order of BLT and a poutine. 20 min had gone by, and we hadnt even received our drinks. I was able to make eye contact from across the restaurant, and our server quickly came over and was very apologetic about not receiving anything yet. I would understand if she had just said, Im so sorry. I completely forgot you, but instead, she lied and said she put our order in but for some reason the kitchen didnt receive it. She stumbled on her words and quickly walked away. Tables came in after us and were already eating, and we hadnt received a thing. I was very disappointed and immediately left the restaurant to go spend my money somewhere else. Its very sad for me because Northway Restaurant had always been a family go to place.

I popped in for a quick lunch. I told the server that I was in a hurry and got my meal quickly. The Chicken Souvlaki dinner was great. The coffee was too.

Went to the lounge/cafe on a Saturday night. They had great live entertainment. The Lounge has a great layout with bar, tables, stage and pool tables. Had drinks and appetizers. Food was decent. The service, however, was not. We were told no food after 9pm, then it changed to 830pm. Then we had to pay our tab by 9 and it was cash only after that. There was a second band coming in, I felt bad for them as everyone cleared out by 930. The service was not adequate, people were always waiting for bills or another drink.... I left without ordering another round because of how long it took, and my bill was printed without being asked if I wanted anything else. Staff was often talking and eating behind the bar while customers wanted service. Seems like they need to figure a few things out quickly to make this go. I will try it once more in a few weeks..... TBD, hoping they come up with a late menu and figure out their POS for after 9, or at least let people know its cash only after 9.... I am all for cutting out the banks making a percentage .

Took my wife out for dinner and the roast beef dinner and my wife had club sandwich, both meals were very good and we would return for another evening.

Fish was mushy, under cooked. Ordered a side of gravy that never came. Ordered 2 pieces only received one. Waitress never came around so it could be rectified. But everything was on the bill at the end. After just eating the fries and pointing out issues when Waitress brought the bill, she offered to bring something else or take it off the bill. We did NOT order more....

Went there for our 31st wedding anniversary dinner.....our area was reserved and ready for us. The staff were very friendly, food was excellent.....everyone left full and very satisfied

The Northway is not a typical diner or restaurant. The decor is more akin to a sports bar where you can drop peanut shells on the floor but dont let that deter you. There were plenty of staff for the amount of customers and they were all joking around, having fun but never neglected the patrons. Good tempered staff is an indicator of happy staff. There was ample food which was well above average, tasty and warm. Biggest complaint the food could have been a bit hotter but if thats my biggest complaint, it only means that there was nothing else to write about. Grace was amazing. She stopped by our table to refresh our water and make sure we were doing ok. Great service Grace. Overall, I was very impressed. Better than the chain restaurants only a short drive away. Give it a try. Support local and enjoy the staff. They Made the experience

I enjoyed a fantastic meal of steak and eggs, which I found to be an excellent value. The steak was exceptionally tender, surpassing even the orange slices in terms of tenderness. It s definitely a must-try, and I highly recommend making the detour from the highway for this delightful dining experience

1st time I went, I saw my waitress once when I ordered. I wanted pb and jams but there weren t any at my table so I thought I d ask my waitress. I saw a waitress several times pass me by. Finally, after sitting with a finished plate for 5 minutes, I called that waitress over and asked for my bill. She went and retrieved MY waitress who I only saw once before (ordering). 2 weeks later, I give it another try. same waitress, same story. Good food, but that waitress shouldn t be there. I ve never not given a tip before, but maybe that will make her rethink. Then again

If I can give a negative I would. Firstly, dont everrrrr work here or at the Lounge side! The owners are the absolute worse and very unprofessional... Secondly, do not eat here. There is mice and mold , as well as illegal drugs at this establishment always. Just trash place, with trashy owners and people. The only good ones there is Lee (Liam) and the dj Jordan .

Notice alot of comments pertain to the new , shady owners. The conditions of this kitchen are disgusting. Years of neglect have allowed an overwhelming amount of MOLD to grow in the main fridge. If youve eaten here I pity you smh. Was recently let go here for voicing concerns over the state of the kitchen and its employees unhygienic habits. Customers should be aware that this place dosent follow basic health codes and serves ROTTEN food as the main night cook is borderline incompetent and as lazy as they come. Update.....HEALTH UNIT CAME AND HOBBIT AND GAPTOOTH HAVE BEEN ORDERED TO CLEAN THE MOLD GROWING IN THIER FRIDGES. Next step...Labour board.

Very slow, I had to ask for coffee after 20 minutes with no service. Then food was just over 3/4 of a hour. We sat there watching people come and go before we had our food. Ive been going there since the opening up. The worst service ever. There were 9 of us, and 2 had to sit across the room.

We havent been to the Northway Restaurant since prior to COVID (2020) but decided to go out for breakfast/brunch. We were greeted quickly once we entered and seated accordingly. Our server, Grace, offered coffee while we were removing our coats. The coffee was hot and tasted like a coffee should taste. We ordered off the breakfast menu. Let me tell you, we were very I.pressed with the menu items and the reasonable prices. Our food arrived and it was piping hot, delicious and plentiful. It was so good that we asked to see their lunch/dinner menu. Again, we were amazed by the numerous choices offered and the reasonable pricing. Grace checked on us throughout our meal. While still sipping on my coffee, I decided to have a Caesar. I generally dont have a Caesar that early in the day, but the ad on their wall was very enticing, and it was good too. We sat in the area to the right and enjoyed how open it was to the rest of the restaurant. We havent been there for a while, but they have refreshed the entire place, and it felt very welcoming. I strongly recommend this restaurant for anyone who wants a great meal and for seniors on a budget. We will be back for dinner and well bring our friends too. Thank you for such a great experience.

Terrible rude management. Laurie degrades employees on a daily basis and I ve heard the owners don t give their staff breaks unless they re smokers. Labor board needs to shut this place down.
