Disgusting! Soup was oily and gross and not even edible. Must have been from a can. Their iced tea was also revolting..

1st time today, thought was super cute,friendly attentive wait staff,awesome croissant w brie cheese. Yummy ! Grabbed a few pastries also, a heart shaped lemon tart and a blueberries pastry. Cant wait to try my next treat and a sandwich when i come next . Support downtown Belleville.

A nice little resturant/party space/caterer. I must confess that we really sent them through the wringer one day and they did nothing but impress! For dining in, the price is decent with daily specials. They make a pretty decent burger too.

It was freezing cold near the door, had to wear a coat. The show on 14 Feb was unique and entertaining. Excellent musicians. Quite the variety! The food was very good, the cheese cake and squares to die for... I tried everything! I will go again. It was a good night out. Thanks Greg.

Our group held a reception at Sans Souci with roughly 100 guests. The staff was incredible at keeping up with all the requests for beverages, help, etc. They were a major factor in making the event a great success.

My wife and I hired Sans Souci to cater our wedding in Napanee and we were really happy with the experience and the food was delicious. We chose a buffet style and were able to choose the mains, salads, and desserts. Greg and his staff were very professional and Rachel answered all our questions as the wedding day approached. During the ceremony, Greg and his staff went out of their way to open all the wine bottles that we had placed on our tables which we really appreciated!

We hired Sans Souci for our wedding this past weekend. We had a catered plated meal for 125 guests. The food was delicious. I had guest let us know that they really enjoyed it. The service was great :) The coordinator, Rachel, that I worked with leading up was super nice to work with as well. Definitely recommend!

I was early before opening this past Thursday both ladies were welcoming and friendly and did not mind serving me early. I was craving the trio salad. Thank you M Garnier

My daughter was originally going to go ahead with Sans Souci for her wedding until the tasting. Chef Greg was rude and inappropriate. He did not prepare all the meals they were hoping to taste and when asked if the salad was supposed to have pine nuts, he replied with, Do you know how expensive pine nuts are?! He continued to complain about how his staff can not be expected to climb stairs at the venue. We ended up cancelling with Sans Souci and Greg had the audacity to charge us $300 for the tasting which was not good nor a complete meal for two.

Ive been coming here for the past month and Im so glad I did! Really delicious fresh food, the staff are so sweet. Orders dont take long to come out. And they do take out! Not very expensive either

As a professional who uses sans souci weekly for my event catering the food service and flexibility is excellent. Their team puts effort into all.

Retirement dinner for a friend was very well done. Offered 3 entrees: prime rib, salmon and chicken. All excellent from comments at our table. Chicken was a very large portion, extra came home. Staff friendly, well mannered and helpful but not overbearing. Thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and would recommend for any occasion.

Just got home from celebrating our 50th Wedding Anniversary at Sans Souci. The atmosphere was wonderful, the set up of the room was perfect, the meal was exceptional with particular attention to food allergies of some of the guests. During the planning stages Greg and his staff were so accommodating. The Servers were freindly, professional and again sooo accommodating. 5 stars are really not enough!!

Third trip to Canada, third stop at Sans Souci. Never disappoints, Greg always goes above and beyond!

Went there for a birthday and everybody ordered chicken or prime rib. I had the chicken and the outside was so hard and burnt, the inside was pretty good but for other people there apparently it was raw. Honestly I wasnt looking to judge the restaurant because thats just odd, but the waiters werent talking or smiling. I didnt care much about that, but when you said thanks or asked for something, they just nodded and walked away. Im not a waiter so I dont know how hard it is, but they could have at least talked back. Prime rib was good for everyone who had it, but coffee and tea was also ordered, and we didnt even get that. We had to ask around three times just for them to bring only coffee out. Again, the food really wasnt horrible, I just wouldnt go there again.

My father s 70th birthday was held at San Souci, and I could not have been more disappointed. First, the food was terrible. Everyone I spoke to echoed my experience with the chicken: it was so dry it was inedible. It had obviously been cooked earlier and reheated for too long in the oven (probably left over from an event earlier in the week), and I couldn t even cut it with a steak knife. The vegetables were way undercooked and not seasoned, and the prime rib was nearly raw. When I spoke to the chef after, he seemed angry, but agreed to make some accommodation for the poor quality (they took half the price off the 10 chicken plates). There was a nice selection of teas on the dessert table, but no hot water to make them. I expected a carafe of coffee and boiling water for tea, and when we asked, they brought out a couple individual cups of tepid water. The servers were sweet but clearly not prepared for a group. And 14 of our guests cancelled at the last minute due to a blizzard. My mother (who lives on a government pension and saved for a year for this) knew she would have to pay for those plates, but when she asked if she could take some of the leftovers home, she was told no. I would never go to this restaurant again, and would strongly advise people looking for a place to host an event look elsewhere.

GREAT PLACE GREAT FOOD

Had a delicious, and unique lunch special. I had a fantastic rib-eye sandwich with a very tastey,chunky greek salad. These wonderful lunch items were enjoyed with a great selection of craft beers. We will definatly be back soon to enjoy the great food, and possibly the patio next time. Thank you for the hospitaliy!

First off, the owner is a gem! Hes amazing on the mic, the food was amazing, absolutely nothing but amazing things to say about his venue!

I want to start by saying amazing service, the girls were great, helpful and friendly. I got the ham and genoa sandwich, which was really good. The cappuccino was burnt, with barely enough milk foam. The soups: apple and squash, which tasted like apple sauce and honestly just had a pure applesauce feel/texture to it. The beef was mostly just meat in brine. Luckily I like salty things, so I may be able to eat the beef on some bread or something later, but had to go elsewhere else for lunch. Truly disappointed as it is close to home and was hoping to have found my little spot. Will not be returning here, mostly money spent to the trash.

I had my wedding here back in October of 2019. The food was amazing!!! The staff were wonderful. I felt very secure in leaving things in their very capable hands. The venue was perfect for my 60 guests. We had the ceremony at the front and with the wall feature it was the perfect backdrop to our ceremony. We had a surprise wedding ( people thought it was an engagement party) amd we pulled it off by them closing off the front and having the guests enter the back. If I had to do it over again I would not change anything. It was so uncomplicated and just fantastic!

Really great food

This is the third time I had personally used Sans-Souci and about five times for corporate events. We will always use Sans-Souci for our catering needs as their menu is extensive, food is awesome and generous helpings, staff is courteous and the owner Greg is accommodating.

My work held out Christmas Party here last year. The wait staff and bartenders were great, and the buffet we had tasted amazing. At the end of the night we were rushed out a little but that may have been our own fault! Definetely recomend hosting any event here.

My husband and I stopped at this quaint bistro while on our way to Sandbanks and were so extremely satisfied with the quality, portions and the service! I ordered the smoked meat sandwich and to be honest this one outranks a few of my Montréal experiences!

I am so happy we decided to host our wedding reception here. The food was perfect, the service was great and Greg truly made sure everyone was happy. I highly recommend this great atmosphere for any event you may be planning!

This is a hidden gem in downtown district of Belleville. I was looking to eat soup on a cold winter afternoon and I was suggested to go to Sans-Souci as they have more options for soup. I went in just to get soup and ordered their On the Grill Chicken Salad. I loved it and my husband was not gonna have lunch and after tasting my salad he ordered one for himself. We have made this our Go To spot from now on anytime we go to Ottawa on our way. We are happy to take a little detour for this place. Will be coming here again when we are in Belleville. Must go.

We went there for a meeting and the lunch that was put out was great there was a wonderful selection of food to choose from . The staff were great keeping things full. I would recommend this venue for any party or business meeting. Bathrooms were very clean.

Went there for a local concert. Not impressed at all. The. Place itself was unkempt. Looked dirty. You had to walk through the immediate eating area to get to the room for the n small(100) people concert. Table numbers repeated themselves, so staff were constantly looking for who the food belonged to (eg, table A in front or table A in the back. Whats wrong with numbered tables? Receiving food that should have been hot and was rapidly cooling, did not sit well. After seeing that, we didnt order any food. For drinks, you had to walk back to the regular eating area. Strange. Unless I win tickets for an event I wouldnt want to eat there, so I will not return.

Ive had Greg cater my party twice. Both times I got exactly what I ordered, the portions were very generous and the food was so good I always ended up overeating. I wont even consider using anyone else.

I had the chicken salad sandwich on gluten-free bread. The bread was toasted (whole grain) and the chicken salad was delicious. There were also two pickle spears on the side. Because the bread slices were small, I got two sandwiches!! There was so much food that my husband had to help me eat it.

Nice venue. The tables were arranged horribly for our event. When everyone was seated there was no space to walk between the tables. The chicken was dry as usual(Ive been here before) but the roast beef was excellent. Service was excellent and servers were attentive. Bread was stone cold like right from the fridge cold, not pleasant.

My wife and I stopped in for lunch, two sandwiches and a soup between us and everything was fantastic. The price was less than I thought it might be. About the same as we would pay in Subway for lunch but with much, much higher quality.

Chef Greg Sheridans menu is simple, flavours deliciously complex and portions plentiful. Next time you and friends are driving at Shannonville Motorsport Park, try Sans Souci in Belleville for dinner. Five of us ate well, had a beer, and the cost with tip was $180. Treat yourself and your pocketbook.

Not my favourite. Tried it twice but service and food were less than exceptional.

Went here for lunch with some coworkers. Was very pleased with the meal. I had the feature of the day which was a great burger. Caesar salad was awesome as well. Local beer on tap always makes me happy. Atmosphere was pleasant and clean. Server was great. Food took a little while as we were the only customers but was well worth the wait. Will be back soon.

I come here often for lunch. They have really good sandwiches and soups. Their burgers are a little too greasy.

Greg & Sans Souci staff just recently catered our wedding of over 100 at the Crystal Palace Picton. It went beyond every expectation we had. Not only did he customize a menu for us, work in a heritage building with no kitchen, and provided a hot delicious spread, but he made my family recipes that I provided to him, for an army of people! There was spëtzel, perogies, sausage, schnitzel, chicken paprikash, braised cabbage, salads and veggies!!!! All amazing! He made sure every table was happy and our guests have been talking about it since! Thank you so much for the best wedding food I have ever had! (Not just saying that because it s my own wedding!!)

We had Sans-Souci cater our wedding, and the food was lovely. The chef was reasonable and priced his services well, the overall salesmanship of it wasn t my favourite though. He spoke almost exclusively directly to me, and ignored my husband altogether. It left a sour taste for my husband, and we almost booked someone else. The service was good, the food was good and guests enjoyed it.

Catered our wedding and everyone raved about the amazing food. We had a buffet and the cook incorporated tandoori chicken at our request since it was a multicultural event. We were so impressed. Highly, highly recommend.

Dissapointed with main dish, duck was hard and chewy and somewhat smelling foul as opposed to fresh duck meat odour as Ive had many duck meals (asked before ordering whether to go with lamb or duck and was suggested duck for tender meat). The chese pie was extremely sweet but the waiter said it wasnt sweet. Was charged all the same for a 2 course menu for a good soup and anot ok psmall salad. The waiter was understanding but overall would not recommend. Nice decor and music

I attended a back to school meeting at Sans-souci. The room was large very tidy and clean there was coffee,tea, and water all available upon our arrival. We had a wonderful lunch prepared for us. There was fresh fruit and vegetables, a beautiful meat tray,a great selection of salads and desserts. It was a great day ! Thanks for all the hard work. Would definitely recommend your services.

This place is pretty good. The prices are very reasonable and the food was tasty and well prepared. The staff could afford to have a little more polish, but our waitress was young so - she was probably still learning. Im not entirely sure what we got classifies as French cuisine, but overall it was still good.
