Amazing food and service!!

First burger is dry and burnt on the sides, fries are dry and chewy, garlic bread is not garlic it s more like cheese bread lastly lasagna don t taste Italian food came less than 10 mins, I don t get how food could be like this

For a large meats pizza is 40.00 is an insult to who buys it will never buy again. Keep local should be cheap but a rip off

Pizza was burnt and sauce is way too sweet for pizza. Would recommend any other pizza place over this

I had Jim s meat lasagna for my dinner today, it was best and sauce was well seasoned and well spiced!! I can highly recommend for who loves the homemade pasta sauce

The handwritten sheet inside the menu said prices had been increased but we assumed that prices shown were correct. But found out that it wasn t so when we got our bill the prices were much higher. No wonder there were only 3 people, including ourselves! Will not go back.

Staff was not interested in attending to the customer at the counter. Me. One walked away, 2 others stood at the back talking. A young girl just sat in a chair at the counter. She probably wasnt old enough to be working there legally so Ill cut her some slack. Finally one of the staff at the back decided to ask me if Id been taken care of. For real? You all watched me walk in, and nobody spoke to me! Finally got my pizza, and left. The pizza was horrible. Maybe a sharper pizza cutter would be a good start. We had to cut the whole thing by ourselves, and it was sloppy. When you picked up a slice, the point just drooped and the toppings would slide off. Would I go back? No.

Everything is delicious! The service is always amazing and so friendly. Ive been loving this place since I was a kid. Whenever I come home, I always stop in for their combination pizza. Food

This is our go-to for Pizza the taste is great, that said they can t seem to ever cut it right! Everyone we get it we have to cut it up again when we get home. But again the taste is worth the hassle

Homemade cuisine and amazing Caesar

Went to Jim s before a concert last night so it was very busy in there. Our food was delicious! Thumbs up to the extremely busy waitresses for doing such a good job. We ll definitely be going back!

Dirty,dark,no one washes their hands, pizza is disgusting,they microwave their food too and eating while making pizza, never again

3.5/5 Pizza was good and fresh. But garlic bread was total disappointing. Grocery store quality plus it was badly burnt. Please either put smaller dough ball or don t put it as it destroyed our pizza in centre.

Pizza is awful. The pepperoni is more like slices of lunch meat, its gross. Would not return.

This should be a question mark for any stars. We looked up their menu online and the first two pages look just like any other pizza place then the third page is tiny and unreadable and looks like it has a piece of wire dangling over the page ....we are stumped but not going to tempt fate on this one. Bizarre. Menu is confusing, are you Greek or Italian, just pick one. The website just takes you to a Facebook page and its not listed the same. Wow.

Went there at 4pm they werent open yet and looked like noone was there at all. would have been a hr wait at least. service so bad they cant even manage to open on time

Been eating here for years. New owners and employees. Im fkin done. Order the same thing I always do. And you send me the wrong thing all together, AGAIN*. Your delivery driver is the best guy ever, but you in store, you are awful at the small job you have. Dont call me and offer a discount. Order a LG meat, tip driver well. Get a pizza covered in green peppers and mushrooms (allergic to mushrooms). You dont have the two second to look at the order, the pizza and make sure its right? Ignorant girl on the phone told me it was impossible. Because this was worth me lying about?! If I knew how to upload photos, Id post the mess you sent. AND IT IS STILL RAW DOUGH!! Edit a year later (June 5 2023) Figured Id give them a try again after a year. My order was supposed to be delivered in 40mins. Its been 1hr 20 mins and just arrived, food arrived cold and pizza undercooked, AGAIN. Im done with Jims for life. This ownership change completely ruined the business.

I personally like the low-key Italian Vibes but you know what a busy day you know Im not great because he wants a bunch of people around you when its kind of small and crowded thats not a big deal the food is phenomenal I prefer the little bit of sweet taste that they have to their pizzas I think its great it reminds me of the old school pizza pizza that they used to have very familiar tasting to this restaurant so theyre doing a great job on their sauce recipe or whatever theyre doing whether it be simple or something that they actually make its a great quality service for pizza altogether a very cheap price point and they do offer fresh slices of pizza if you do want them

Worst pizza. If I could give it no stars I would. Grew up on Jims Pizza. Always a great pizza. Always recommended to friends visiting Belleville. Never again. Picked one up for dinner tonight. Horrible. Sauce was not tomato, it was sugary sweet. Ingredients slid off the terrible wet crust. There was supposed to be pepperoni on it. Dont know what the meat was but it wasnt pepperoni. Very sad. Used to be the best pizza in the province. What a loss to Belleville.

Didnt like the spaghetti sauce that they served. It just kind of meh, There is not a whole lot of flavor

Ordered fisherman platter ,food was good ,but when it came I was wondering what happened. The order was smaller than normal and no salad, normally it s bigger and come with a small salad.. not sure if I ll be ordering again there.

Cant review food as I didnt get any. There were 9 of us and we made reservations for 5 oclock which should have given us plenty of time to get to 7 oclock show across the street. Server didnt come back to take drink orders or even water so we had to go in search of her. Finally drink orders were taken. When they finally came, two were missing. Again, had to go remind her we didnt get our drinks. After an hour, still hadnt got any food. Finally started trickling out and two of us didnt get any food. Since 3 tables came after us, ate and were leaving, I have to assume other server took our orders and gave them to her tables. I finally told server to cancel food as we didnt have time to eat it. Wed ordered the special so were told food was already prepped and would be quick. The Food that did come looked and smelled delicious. Unfortunately another guest and I went hungry. No apology or anything. Wont be back.

Just happened to be needing food desperately at 15 minutes to close (yes we just had to be THOSE people that night...) and we walked into a gracious host and server who brought enormous portions of comfort food! The prices were right and the food was excellent!

This place is just amazing. I chanced upon it a few years ago while stopped over at Belleville train station, for some reason I can t remember. Started going regularly, stopping off on drives along the 401. If you re from Belleville and haven t gone yet or forgot about it - consider that someone who lives in Toronto, near all sorts of Italian places, spends 15+ minutes coming into your city just to pick up lasagne to eat a few hours later. The freshness of the food (and old-school vibe of the place!) remind me more of Montreal than anything else I know of in Ontario. And the portions are just unreal: like New Jersey sized! Even if you re literally from NJ or Montreal & can get this sort of thing any time, I d still check it out if you have a chance to stop in Belleville. It s that good. Veggie options are incredible; my friend who eats meat liked the chicken parm, but their veg lasagne is something almost anyone could appreciate, I think and imagine that means the meat one & other pastas are legit, too! (Keep meaning to try them, but the veg lasagne is just soooo good!)

Today was my first time at this location. Delivery. Medium Jim s special, large Caesar salad and a poutine. For a Jim s pizza, my least favourite was the pizza. I was told by someone, you will love it or hate it. I did in fact hate it. Not what I expect for a pizza sauce or crust. Way too sweet and the crust was slimy. The more I ate, the more I disliked. There was a distinct flavour I didn t enjoy, like a pumpkin type spice and it overwhelmed the entire pizza. I ll not order the pizza again. The salad was a 7/10. Vinegar dressing. Lettuce very watery that drowned the Caesar flavour but it was much better than the pizza. The best part was the poutine. Really enjoyed. Gravy had a lot of flavour lots of cheese. Would order the poutine again. Overall, most likely will not be back. The pizza being a the biggest disappointment.

Best pizza in town!

They lied to me when they told me that the meat is fresh and it was old and dirty and not edible at all. I bet if you give that meat to a dog, he wont take it no matter how hungry hes l. To be fair, the appetizer was not bad, and they gave me discount on that dirty plate..

Best Salads and Pizza in belleville. And the oldest one you can find here. Lots of different greek and italiyan foods. Try Cesar salad and Meatlovers Pizza for sure..thats the best....

It s funny to see how mixed the reviews are. We liked the pizza, the lasagna and the salad we had. I guess is the sauce that splits the reviewers. Overall, I liked this place, the kids too!

I ordered pizza and lasagne over Easter. It was packaged poorly and ended up all over my front porch. When I called for a new lasagne or refund I was told it was not their fault but the fault of the delivery driver. I explained it was packed poorly and the container fell right through the wet bag. After being passed around from one staff to the next I finally got a young girl who flat out told me she would not refund or deliver the lasagne and garlic bread. It was my fault for going through a delivery service. She was insistent and very rude. This made me angry. She ended up hanging up on me. Jims use to be a great restaurant. Unfortunate. Even though it was not their responsibility the delivery company refunded half of the 40.00 order.

Sad to say this was the worst pizza I ve ever had. Not because of the taste but because of the way it s made. First of all, the pizza wasn t even cut throughout so when trying to get a piece all the toppings slid right off. Destroyed the pizza. Literally had to cut the whole pizza ourselves. Second the pepperoni they use is huge, like as round as a tennis ball huge and cooked under the cheese, making the rest of the toppings slide off the pizza when you take a bite if you re not careful to make sure the whole pepperoni doesn t slide off. The sauce isn t a traditional pizza sauce either. It s not bad but just different. Definitely will never get pizza from here again.

We ordered 8 souvlaki dinners. Chicken was burnt and the order took 1 1/2 hours to arrive. We were across the street from the restaurant. When approached about the delay they blatantly lied to us. The order was totally messed up. Did not enjoy our experience or our dinner at all.

Ill start by saying there was a festival going on this weekend and there clearly was not enough staff to take care of the entire place. We had to wait a fair bit, which would have been annoying but fine overall if the food had been good, but none of us enjoyed our meals, and neither did the table next to us. (We had a lot of time to chat while waiting lol) Found the fettucine sauce to be almost like a congealed consistency and bland, and the meat sauce my friend had was strangely sweet/mapely? Anyway, would not recommend even though the staff was extremely kind.

Excellent pizza

I have gotten pizza from here about 3 times prices are alittle expensive like 16$ for a small pizza BUT the pizza was amazing and did fill me up but 16$ for one person dose seem alittle much and all 3 times i have gotten pizza it has never been cut properly I have to cut it myself everytime alittle anoying especially when I m paying that price.

The food is amazing and the staff are happy and helpful no matter what time you pop in.

Worst pizza I ve ever had. Whatever they use for tomato sauce is so off that I can t even describe the taste. The pepperonis are strangely huge and seemed raw because it was under the cheese instead of on top.

Went here for a bday dinner. There were 8 of us. We ordered Lasagne, spaghetti, rigatoni and pizza. Everyone was very happy with their meal. We have also ordered delivery twice recently and both times it was excellent and hot. We will be back.

The server was on her own so the food was slow to arrive but she was very attentive. Portions are very generous and absolutely delicious!

Great meal, friendly service, excellent value. The baked lasagna was very nice. The fishermans catch was outstanding -- the fish, scallops and shrimp were all crisp and super tasty.

It was a party of 3- and omg it was amazing- great portions and great food! Great staff- I even loved the fish plates they had for the fish and chips- if we are back in Belleville we will be heading there from now!! You won t be disappointed!

The new breaded mushrooms they are serving are gross not sure why they switched them to that mush, and the breading is horrible

Sadly flavorless food italian food should be light and flavourful. Garlic bread was just a cheap roll, very little butter or garlic. Alfredo sauce from a jar The waitress has been working there for 25 years and she poured a drink back into the bottle! I wouldnt believe if I didnt see it with my own eyes

My wife and I ordered a large pizza and wings. The pizza sauce was a tad sweet for myself but good. The toppings we had were not plentiful but good. The chicken wings with hot sauce separate, was amazing. The wings were the best tasting Ive ever had. I hope it wasnt a fluke, but dang, the wings were a 10 out of 10. Awesome, local and good .....

Ordered a pizza and my family was eating it and we found a used bandaid in the pizza. Ita a pandemic and there is a bandaid in our food. Why aren t gloves being worn in the restaurant and why arent the food prep team wearing gloves. This is highly disturbing and we will not be ordering again from Jims. Probably the most disgusting thing to happen. Stay safe.

I gave them a rating of 1 because this used to be the best food in Belleville for many, many years until it was sold to a new owner. Grew up eating their delicious food. Thought Id give them a try one more time after discovering a while ago that their pizza stinks and arrived to me with the entire crust still raw and had to argue with them to return it and have a fully cooked pizza. Ordered their lasagna tonight and its has no taste, spices and no meat in it. Used to have hamburger and ham in it and it used to be delicious also. Not now! Glad my meal was half off due to a doordash promo.

This is a very specific review as I only ever have one thing when Im here that being the Jims Combination pizza. I grew up in Belleville so I was introduced to Jims pizza at an early age. Im now in T.O. but manage to get my Jims fix at least once, twice a year. In my mind Jims is pizza perfection. I suggest it all starts with their unique pizza sauce (its definitely on the sweeter side and probably the sweetest pizza sauce youll encounter). Nevertheless, to my taste its the BEST pizza in Ontario and beyond. PS Windsor ONT is known for pizza and I admit Windsor pizza is good and superior to anything Ive had here in T.O. but still Jims exceeds the Windsor crowd. UPDATE: 29May2021... I have stopped dining at Jims in Belleville and instead frequent Jims in Trenton. Better overall pizza served in a much nicer establishment. NOTE: Tomassos serves Jims pizzas.

This Greek and Italian restaurant is excellent. The food is very delicious and the owner of the store was very respectful to all their customers. The food portions was large and filling. We highly recommended this place to anyone who enjoys Greek and Italian cuisine.

I have never, ever, EVER left a restaurant before I had eaten my meal. Today was a first. Im glad I went for the experience, it was hilarious! I am so embarrassed for the people who own this and think they have a fine restaurant. Started with calamari and famous meatballs. Calamari was well over cooked. Meatballs were processed, and only warm while the sweet tomato sauce and goopy cheese over and around them were piping hot. I wanted to try the rigatoni, but they were out of stock. I went with the chicken cacciatore, wife ordered the chicken saltimbocca, which says it is marinated in white wine. My dish was disgusting with lots of water in the bottom of the dish. My wifes dish, despite saying it was marinated in white wine, had red wine poured over it (after cooking, not cooked in). Both chickens were rubbery. We took one bite of our entrees and got up to leave, we offered to pay for the food we had ordered even though it was awful but they graciously only charged us for the apps we had eaten.

Ordered here for the first time to try something new and they burnt the garlic bread which looked and tasted like the texas toast i can buy in a bag at a grocery store, the Alfredo was very bland and tasted just plain weird(which how do you mess up Alfredo :/) and the Cesar salad barley had little to no dressing on it. Will not be getting from here ever again and dont recommend it to anyone at least not what i ordered.

Also got the Greek chicken souvlaki , the chicken was burnt and the rice had no taste . It s different no longer the original Jim s . Little Caesar pizza would had been a better dinner idea

Ordered a med combo and a med Santa Fe pizzas via skip the dishes. Order arrived very quickly. Well the crust was not cooked and still doughy. The taste was sickening, too sweet. Not sure of the spice but that was all my family could taste. We stomached one piece each of the combo but none of the Santa Fe. Tossed in the garbage. First time ordering from Jim s in years, guess it s the last. Totally not edible

Best Pizza in Belleville

I dont normally put negative reviews of a restaurant on here, but this place is a record holder!! We sat ourselves at a table. (Only ones in the restaurant) The waitress was very chatty with her coworkers, and we didnt want to bother her. There is no music, so were entertained by the mass amounts of fruit flies. We ordered a medium 3 topping pizza, it took half an hour to make, was cold and uneatable. The pop order was wrong. DO NOT EAT HERE.

I ordered a pizza from here from the first time in over a decade (I moved out of the area.) I am very pleased to say that the wonderful and unique flavour of Jim s has not changed. Great pizza and friendly staff. Minus 1 star because the kitchen staff were wearing flip flops. Open toed shoes in a kitchen isn t right.

Ordered pizza and lasagna..worst meal ever

This is my first time writing a negative review about any business... I am not a picky eater, but Jims pizza was the worst pizza Ive ever had in ontario so far. First and LAST time trying Jims, we ordered pizza. Upon delivery, both pizzas were burnt, dry, very doughy, barely any sauce, little to none of the three toppings (cheap lunch meat). Never again. Delissio would of been a better choice ! Threw the pies of dough in the garbage.

I took my sister there for New Years dinner. She has food allergies. They made special Chicken Parmesan for her without breading and a Greek salad instead of Spaghetti. Thats service and accommodation at its best!

Not a fan of this place. The pizza is over priced and loaded with what I believe to be pumpkin spice its OVER KILL. The service is ok but its not very busy either. For your $$ there is much better food in Belleville

Really good selection of items on the menu, but service on the takeout side is often not as good as in the main restaurant, and there is often a longer wait for your food even if its not busy. I dont go as often as I used to, but I would always get a poutine or a burget and fries, and they have a tendency to not give you any forks in the bag with your poutine, so you have to come back in and ask for them. Pizza is okay... far from the best in town or the area... tends to be a bad balance of toppings and not cooked right (often could use a few extra minutes in the oven. Place needs a good cleaning and renovation as its starting to show its age. Otherwise not a bad place, and still worth a visit even to compare the pizza to somewhere else

I usually dont rate or review, but when I ordered a slice today, it was cold all around except the crust. And the pulled the premade pizza from a cupboard. Never going back. Very disappointed

I ordered a basic clubhouse and fries and what I got was what looked like a Turkey sandwich. It wasnt even cut at all! They put a single half inch slice of lettuce with the core still in it and a thick piece of tomato with barely cooked bacon on 2 pieces of bread it wasnt even a triple decker!!! Plus it wasnt even toasted it was just bread! What a waste of money they have went way down hill in the last year nothing like what I remember getting from there. If that happened at another restaurant I would have been credited or got my meal for free but not there they refused anything to do with giving a refund or even store credit I had bo choice but to take my $35 order and leave!! I think what the problem is, is that they need to hire a real cook and not rely on there young children. Pay someone a wage that knows what there doing. Sorry for the rant Ive never even posted on here before I just cant believe what happened.

The pasta is very good and the dishes are hearty. They have been quite slow, but they have served us very kindly.

The food was fine, but nothing to write home about. The pizza sauce was weirdly sweet - personally not my favourite. The garlic bread was good! The meat on the pizza was some sort of processed lunch meat which I really didnt like. The greek salad was way over dressed, though in fairness that could just be a one time mistake.

In town on a concert tour and had dinner there across from Empire Theatre and was so impressed with the quantity of my chicken parmigiana meal and the price. Would go out of my way to drop back in there when through the area again. Service was friendly also. And fairly quick.

What pizza was meant to taste like. The sauce is their signature ingredient, and hasnt changed in 25 years. Its a bit sweeter than what you might be used to, with a hint of... fennel? for good measure. If theres anything youre not going to like about the pizza, itll be this- it seems to split their customers. Everyone Ive met loves it, but youll see some reviews here that disagree. The rest of the ingredients are top notch as well- their pepperoni pizza was incredible. Highly recommended.

This is a joke! Pizza might be good I dont know and wont come back to try. If all you want is cheese this is the place to go. Starter bruscheta... 4 Texas style garlic toast loaded with cheese topped with diced tomatoes and uncooked bacon. Result... Discusting! If you know food stay away!

No traditional Greek food available ordered 3 things from the menu, told they had no pork, no Parmesan cheese for chicken and no lamb. 15 minutes in still had no drink service, no even water Server couldn t suggest anything when food choices were no available

Jims Pizzeria, I wish your restaurant had some gluten free food like gluten free pizza, gluten free breadsticks and more.

As tourists in the area, we were wondering where to eat. The advices on Google were right: I had a Jims special combination pizza and it was very good. All the family members were happy with their choice of meal. And the waitress was so kind with us! The only downside is the weird choice of heavy metal radio station...

Food quality was just ok, good portion size, very nice staff and huge selection, place needs to be updated asap, bathroom is sad condition

Grew up having Jims as a child and now as an adult Im able to enjoy there unique sauce and the abundance of cheese they put on there amazing pizza !!! Its always a treat to have Jims by far my Favorite place to eat !!
