Been going here for years! Have always loved everything I get, hope they keep it up. Favorites is the Pakora and butter chicken. More of a take out place than a dine in set up.

My family enjoys this place and the freshness and ability to cater to spicyness.

Worst service, worst taste. The naan was frozen; they just heated it up. Especially, Indian people dont go there because the food doesnt taste like authentic Indian cuisine. You may feel disappointed after spending money.

Real Indian food. Its pretty awesome.

I just got the order. It was really bad. They didn t even packed the stuff properly. All the stuffed was leaked out in the bag and mixed with each other. No one can even eat this after seen it. Really disappointed with the service.

Worst experience with this restaurant as the women may be the owner or manager of the restaurant behaved very rudely, this is my second experience with her, Worst Customer service. She forced us to leave the restaurant and asked its closing time before 30 mints of closing. They didn t tell that the dining time is over while we are paying, she asked awkwardly while we are eating. So disrespectful service of her. However the employee was good and treated very well. This star just for her.

Its not royal Haveli but its still pretty good and reasonably priced.

The server suggested we get the shahi paneer instead of butter chicken if we were sharing because it had more sauce! Was very kind of her and the food was amazing! The paneer was melt in your mouth creamy and the mild option was quite spicy! Also it comes with rice!!! Will definitely be coming back on our next road trip to Ontario!

We had samosas here, the filling was tasty but it was oily.

We regularly visit to get take-out even though its a thirty-minute drive each way. Its terrific food, and the service is always prompt and friendly. The portions are generous and the selection great - even for vegetarians, like us! We are so excited about the new recyclable white takeout containers and the new cardboard containers for the rice! Vegetarian options: Terrific choices for vegetarians: samosas, pakora, saag paneer, mater paneer, malai kofta, veg korma, naan, raita, and gulab jamun, and lots more.

Paneer is 10/10!

Thats such a bad place to have Indian food. They don t even know how to make Malai koftas , they had the aloo tikki base for the koftas . Their naans were so hard and difficult to eat, i think they just gave us pizza base bread to eat. Very bad experience.

Not a good experience. Vegetable vindaloo tasted like frozen vegetables and canned sauce. Rice was bland and even the naan looked like it came from the grocery store. Samosas and Aloo Tiki were dry and over cooked. Nothing homemade! Disappointing. Food

If someone has to eat packaged food then they will be going to a walmart instead of a so called restaurent.

I get the food here for the first time and the experience here was extremely bad. I would not recommend anyone this place if they care about quality and their health. The channa I got from here was smelling really bad. After eating the food I start feeling nausea.

Was rather disappointed. Food was mediocre. Butter chicken sauce was tasty, but the veggie curry did not taste like a curry. It had some heat, but no curry and veggies soggy. The mango lassis were really good though. Not a nice dine-in experience. Definitely better for take out (which was clear they did alot of).

Used to order here frequently but Im done Their delivery is such a rip off its unreal. 8$ delivery for in the city of belleville. Im on walbridge IN BELLEVILLE and theyre saying thats going to cost even MORE for delivery? Ill go litterally anywhere elsewhere at this point. Never again. Money grubbing to heights that are absolutely rediculous....ill choose royal haveli next time. Good day.

Myself and my spouse enjoy the food and quick service from the Curry House. They have a great variety of curries and we love ordering the samosas (sometimes well just order those if we want a warm snack but dont want something sweet). The rice here is also tasty and plentiful. The value here is great for the price.

The owners are amazing amazing people who willd adjust the flavour of the food to match what your liking. The pakora is to die for and the lunch prices are extremely economical. Highly recommended and you do not have to wait long to get your food!

To start the food is good. However the reason this place only gets 2 Stars from me is because every time I order for pick up they are never ready and I usually end up waiting an addional 20 to 30 minutes at the store for them to finish. As well there has been multiple tome where peices of the order have been forgotten most of the time I am not charged for this mistake, but there has been a few times that they have, they took my name and number and assured me the next time I come the meal that was missed would be added onto the order or would be complementary to make up for the missed order. That has yet to happen either even when I had asked the staff the the restaurant face to face. The only reason this place is even getting 2 Stars is because of the food. The service is to be desired... be careful and check your order before you leave the store.

Ordered Chicken Curry with Rice, Rotis and Carrot Halwa from them. Both Chicken Curry and Carrot Halwa were tasteless and had very small portions. Rice and Rotis were just okay!

Had their lunch combo - curry/rice both chicken and veg were decent for price which is $8. Veg curry was creamy and more tasty than chicken. Operated by family, seems no servents. Support for local business

Delicious Chicken Biriyani contains pots of Meat Chunks. I ordered extra Spicy and Gravy . Its was so good

I am Indian and II would give it a lower rating if I could. They dont use proper ingredients and the spices are all wrong and inedible. Chicken Tikka masala is supposed to have green and red bell peppers in a tomato cream gravy. No bell peppers, no tomato in gravy. Aloo Gobi was worse. Samosa and aloo tiki were overcooked and burned. Nothing was edible. They dont know how to cook. Avoid this place.

Absolutely love this place! Its small, but their food is amazing. Ive never left disappointed. Whether you dine in or take out, the food is always great. Try the Malai Kofta or Saag Paneer with some garlic naan - you wont be disappointed!

Havent eaten there in awhile but I have never had a bad experience. Food is delish, good size servings, cooked to order. The medium vindaloo only half burns my face off...just how I like it

Great Indian food at reasonable prices. Large serving of rice cooked with each dish. Consistency varies, especially with the hotness level. Sometimes medium spice is barely noticeable and sometimes it is really hot! You kind of roll the dice on that aspect ... But the flavour is always very good.

Dont recommend having Biryani and paneer curry... Its not Biryani atall we call it irachi choru ... and price is cheaper compared to others but not worth it..

Best Indian in the area.

Ordered Lamb Biryani, Chicken Biryani and Veg Samosas. Biryanis are really bad and they tasted more like tomato rice than biryani. Order biryani only if you want to eat tomato rice. Samosas are pathetic too without salt or flavour. We noticed black soot on samosas which would happen only if you are frying in the same oil all day without filtering or changing it. To top it off the really bad taste, non of them are wearing masks or if they are then they are not even covering their nose properly. I haven t seen anyone in the kitchen wearing gloves and hairnets. I could have given 0 rating if google allowed me to so sticking to one.

This is the best place in Belleville. The quality and quantity for the proce cannot be beat. We get take out from here regularly and the only negative thing is that they occasionally run out of pakora. Highly recommend.

They dont know the basic of Chicken biryani. Uncooked Onions on overlooked rice with just turmeric and chilli powder as spices. never had such and experience with Biriyani before anywhere else. They dont even serve a salad or pickle with Biriyani. Its like cheating in the name of food.

We were served veggie Biryani that went bad for take out. It smelled like old food as soon as we brought it home and opened it.

I was traveling from Montréal to Toronto and stopped to take lunch here. The food was decent and the restaurant had take out only. No dine in may be due to covid restrictions now. We were a bit late and went in by 3 but the staff were accommodating and took our orders after lunch hours!

This was the first Indian restaurant I tried when I moved to belleville, and I ve since tried all the others and India Curry House is still my favourite!! I get something new every time and I m never disappointed - always fresh and delicious! It s also less expensive than the other Indian restaurants but don t let it fool you because their food is great and the people are always kind. It d also be hard to beat their lunch specials which are awesome!

I went to this place today afternoon for lunch with my friends as we saw good rating but Honestly this was the WORST PLACE I have ever been for food in Canada. I got shahi panir & panir has Fungus on it. How can they serve food with fungus on it to their customers? Naan was uncooked and was also smelling bad. When I asked the employee over their, they didnt even apologize for it and even saw anger on me for showing their mistake. Who will be responsible if someone get food poisoning by this food? Its about health issue of customers. I will Never go back to this place and not even suggesting to anyone. Please check your food before eating over here.

I ordered a fairly large meal.. cost me just over $40 and Ill tell you, I wish I had waited for Tanjore to be open. I am not impressed. I remember the curry chicken being creamy and delicious.. it was disgusting. On top of that, the pakora was burnt, the garlic naan was like cardboard.. like cmon. I could have done a better job in my own kitchen following online guides, ensuring I wouldnt burn my food. Terrible.

Pricing is pretty reasonable, and the portion sizes are good. Food is prepared to order and served hot, with your choice of mild/med/hot for spice, although the exact level of spice Ive found can vary day to day. Food tastes good although Ive found it could use a bit more seasoning. Definitely recommend here for the quality and price point. Service is friendly. Will be back.

We stopped here for lunch. The taste was great and price was okay. However the service was slow due to that there were many other orders in front of us. We had to wait for around 30 minutes to get our food. My grandfather had heartburn after eating here. However, I found the food was very good. I guess its up to each ones taste

Compared to real indian curry the curry house lacks all luster. I found the food to taste just enough to be Indian. Very watery, the spices were there (in powdered form) but not fresh, the meat tasted soft but almost pre packaged. The rice was good but thats not hard to mess up, could have used some turmeric. If you have never been to India or had the chance to experience real indian food then I could see why there are many 5 star ratings on here. The royal haveti in belleville are the closest to indian I have tried, but dont order there samosas because there about as good as the indian curry house.

Authentic food

This is a pick up restaurant. I love Indian cuisine. Dal soup and mango chutney here must be from a different part of India that I have eaten at many places before, as they looked, and were made from, different ingredients than usually in Indian restaurants. Chilly curry is a very interesting, flavourful and tasty dish. I like spicy food, so some dished I had in spicy and some in medium, and I was satisfied with the level of spice. We ll definitely do pick up again!
