Usually pretty okay for a chain restaurant, staff is nice and beer is cold but listen the guy who sat my party just straight up told us yeah don t get the cake, we just buy it from a store and slice it and to stay away from the salad before leaving as someone else walked by looks like i might be staying away in general

Ordered the ribs, chicken fingers and chicken casadia. Fingers and ribs were not really edible. Ribs were tough and a bit cold by the bone. Definitely microwaved. I didnt even finish them. My daughter didnt even eat half of her chicken fingers. The batter tasted like it was burnt. My pop was flat. They ran out of the carbonation for the fountain pop. They didnt know how to change it. I would only go here as a last resort. Poor food quality. I dont leave bad reviews usually but thought ibshould let others know what we experienced.

I always enjoy this place. Keep the chips coming.

Have not been since pre Covid. Gave it a 4 star because if service. Savanna did awsome job. Freindly and big smile. Had the shrimp taco. The shells are too small. Cant wrap them up, so they spill out. Rice was clumpy. We also had the chicken sandwich. 3 chicken fingers! Not very creative. Popeyes has the sandwich to die for at half the price. Over all was just ok. Over priced compared to Montanas. It was a 50 minute wait. Lonestar walked right in on Friday night. Place was not close to full

The menu could be a little bigger not many choices

Was my birthday and the plan was to go to Montanas. The wait was killer so we went to Lonestar. There was a bit of a wait but not terribly long. We were then sat in a section. Our waiter was a fella named Smoke. He was fantastic! Even though we had a wait for our food with a child he ensured she was amused and busy till the food came. The food was also amazing!! Such a save for my birthday. Thank you so much Smoke and chefs in the back.

So loud,and server sat us on the bar side for some reason and cant hear yourself think,why is the music so loud

Man..: we were frequent fliers here. Like, once a week consistently. Went away for a few weeks and came back to new ownership. Everything is garbage. Every corner imaginable has been cut. No decent beers left. No ceasar salad?!?!?!? Food is flavourless and over cooked Portions have been reduced Staff is totally lacking any kind of personability and we used to come here just to hang out at the bar with them. We will not be back. I would give a negative review if I could.

I have eaten at over 10 Lone Stars and probably over 100 times . Unfortunately this location was by far the worst. Starting with being seated at a table that wasn t clean, to waiting 30 minutes for con queso which was virtually half the size from other locations . Faiija s arrive and for the first time they were not sizzling, as they were cold. Waitress asked if they were anything else we needed. Just a cup of salsa and another ice tea. Unfortunately we never saw this waitress again until she brought the bill. Terrible Service, Terrible Food, and Terrible cleanliness at this location

Steak fajitas were terrible, chewy disgusting beef, onions and peppers soggy and greasy. The cheese and lettuce were both brown and disgusting! What has happened to this restaurant? Even the kids chicken fingers were terrible. Will not be returning, it has gone so far downhill would not recommend to anyone.

Decent fast food nolonger value priced unfortunately

We have been going to the Lone Star chain for years when we lived in Ottawa (a true Canadian chain, where they began on Baseline St in Ottawa!). Our first experience in Trenton was on 19 Oct 2024 when we went out for my birthday dinner and experienced terrible service. - over 40 mins to wait to be seated, due to poor direction from the manager, despite MANY tables available. We can overhear the seating staff getting frustrated on our behalf, and they were kind enough to seat us despite the lack of direction from the manager. Thanks to the hostes! - we were a small group, 3 adults and 2 children under 6, and it took over 80 mins for us to get our food, due to our inattentive water. A table seated 10 mins prior to us were done their meal and left before we got our meal. A table seated less than 5 mins after us were done their meal when ours was served. - waiter gave us minimal attention. The tables drinks were only refilled once, after the meals were served, after we were all out of drinks. We could see the waiter chatting with other staff more than they spent time attending to anyone. - meals were served incorrectly: crispy fish tacos were missing mole sauce and one other topping, kids chicken fajita was served without any sauce, and incorrect drinks were served upon requesting refills. Quality and quantity of food was great, to the standard we would expect of a Lone Stars to provide. Due to the poor service we experienced (again, on my birthday), for a bill well into the $100s, I would not prioritize visiting this particular location again. T It is worh noting: there were plenty of other guests that had a great experience. We just werent one of them.

Waited 45 minutes to even get a table! Then waited another 45 minutes for the food! Prices very high!! Food : 3/5

I went to this location tonight and the food was absolutely disgusting. Starting off with the fact that half the restaurant was empty, the host at the front said we would have to wait for a table..? (I m assuming they were understaffed) We ended up just sitting at the bar because the host didn t care about seating us. I ordered the birria tacos and when it came there was 3 floppy tortillas with 2tbsp of meat in each of them. On the menu it says the birria tacos come with cheddar cheese, salsa verde, cilantro and onions. There was none of the above listed in the taco. Just the beef. When I spoke to our server who handled the situation amazing, she came back and told us the salsa portion of that dish was the meat being marinated in the salsa ? And the cilantro oh it s in the consommé. There was no cilantro in the consommé and the dip itself was so salty it was inedible. I asked if they could bring some cilantro and onions on the side and I got a tsp. Of cilantro and sautéed onions** not raw onions which is how it should be served. When we spoke with the manager on our way out we mentioned that they themselves should try the food or even the consommé because of how salty and inedible it was he said and I quote that what you should expect .. okay? They did give us %50 off our dish but the attitude from the MANAGER towards the whole situation was ridiculous.

Ordered on Uber eats. The app froze so I tried again. But the restaurant was closed ahead of when they said they would close according to posted hours. Didn t think anything of it. Received an invoice from uber eats the next day for 2 orders I never received at $23 each. Called LoneStar and there was nothing they could do. No way to contact Uber eats. So you have my $46 for no food received. You don t know me and that s fine. But I used to eat there all the time. Started eating at Montana s and BP next door. They know me. You have the last $46 I will ever spend there. And I will be telling others not to frequent the restaurant which as you can tell by the sales figures is already happening. Happy $46.

Steak cooked perfectly. Medium rare.

Slow service, food mundane and over priced

Ordered wings and they were the smallest tasteless wings Ive ever had. $4 for an iced tea!!! Really?? Needless to say will not be back or recommend.

We had Smoke as our server and he was incredible! Had refills on the table before we asked and was very attentive. He totally made our night. Best service we have had there

Took 45 minutes to get food! It was cold so another 20 minutes and same food came out! Cold wings X2! Then billed me for 2 lbs of wings! Yep sucked ! Outside patio was dirty, especially windows! Will never go back!

We were there for 45 minutes before we got our food when it came out it was cold we sent it back we waited an additional 20 minutes for food when it came back it was the same food. Cold. I ordered fish tacos and there was loonie size piece of fish on each taco i asked the manager if the fish was hiding under the large bed of lettuce and he said that that was the portion size. Very disappointing think they need to put address the portion size and put fish on the taco (the first tacos had actual fish. Should have just eaten cold tacos ) will definitely not be going back!!

We went to Lone Star Texas for my partner s special birthday. It is also my fav restaurant. Our server Taki was awesome and I managed to have a spl birthday shout out done at v short notice thanks to Taki. Service just Grt, staff cheerful Reception super. We enjoyed our beer and Strawberry Guava Margarita along with the Calamari, Antijitos and Fajita bowl. Small mix up with my takeout dessert. Ordered a cheesecake dessert but got a cookies and cream cake. Hard for a cheesecake lover. Def would not recommend the cake it was cloyingly sweet but still my rating is 4 stars.

Had a great lunch. Recommended the alligator bites. Nice people and fast service

Other than the extreme prices I very much enjoyed my visit! Diamond was our server and by far is my favourite server I ve had visiting this location! She s very attentive and friendly, as well with being extremely to accommodative to my dietary needs, appreciated my visit and will be coming back!

Love Lone Star Texas Grill, going to miss it when they turn them all into Lone Star Cantena. Went to the one in Whitby was not impressed, didnt even feel like Lone Star any more.

Usually lone star is one of my fav restaurants to go to but last night I was surprisingly let down! I ordered a flight of margaritas which was amazing - nothing new there. I ordered steak fajitas and asked to also get a side of chicken. My server said she wasn t sure how to punch in the side of chicken but that she d find out! No problem! My friend got the table side guac. The server brings out all of the ingredients and makes it at the table - definitely a cool concept. While making the guac, our server put an entire dressing container worth of salt into the mix and it made the guac literally inedible. We are not picky people but it was so salty that we just left the whole thing. Once my food came it was amazing. Fajitas are always good. However, once my bill came it said I was charged $11.99 for a kids fajita and fries. I asked my server about it and she said we couldn t find a button so that s what we charged you . I continued to ask if it was actually going to be $12 for my small plate of chicken and she said yes. I ve been a server before and I understand that the job isn t easy! However, I do know that there s always a way to punch in extra asks and different foods! She never offered a manager, and I m not the type to make a scene. I still tipped her $10 on my $68 meal. But it s just unfortunate that she didn t tell me in advance or offer to fix it.

Food and menu was disappointing

Been to this restaurant quite a lot. I have noticed it change over the last few visits. Service seems to not be the best anymore. They no longer give out more than one bowl of tortilla chips, and the portions seem to be smaller every time.

The customer service at this place is absolutely terrible these days. People in my family have gone to this restaurant for years and it s painfully pathetic how bad the service is now. Whether it s a lack of care from the staff or possibly how they re trained, something needs to change asap. Really sad how our favourite restaurant in town has tuned into a complete dumpster fire of a restaurant.

i was in late on wednesday night. trouble was our server, and she was amazing, super friendly, 10/10 service. adding an extra star simply because she was wonderful. however, the food was very underwhelming, the breaded chicken wings are barely sauced, and 90% breading, 10% chicken. not to mention our food took forever to come out.

Food is not great. Mostly soggy carbs of one form or another with what they call Queso...but Im sure comes out of a squeeze tube or hand pump. Absolute mounds of shredded iceberg lettuce on everything. Cost for quality was also not there, 100$ including tip for 2 adults, 2 kids. With 1 beer. This location is off our list, especially when you have a far superior option with Chilangos down the street. Patio was ok. Lots of seagulls eating food left on tables.

I ve been going to this location since it opened. It was a staple in our family. We knew the staff and looked forward to going. Unfortunately over the last few years the service has absolutely gone downhill. At first we just waived it off as a bad couple of experiences, but then it became routine. Our waiters, not coming back to check on us, literally going inside ourselves to ask for what we need. Unfortunately that s be constant with the Belleville LoneStar service. I understand when it is busy you may wait longer, but when you re only serving two tables on the patio ? That is unacceptable. I ve noticed it also has become a trend to not bus tables as well. All I ve seen when we go are dirty tables. Again, not for being overwhelmed and busy. The place hardly has more than a few tables when we go. It is no longer a busy location. We would be brought our food and our table still had our appetizer plates or chips and salsa dishes which we awkwardly move around and then our server still doesn t take them away. There were even seagulls sitting eating food on the empty tables. That same night, our waitress waited until she brought our food out to tell me what I asked for was unavailable and hoped the substitute was okay? Like what ? I ve never had that happen before. As sad as it makes me and as long as I waited to have the LoneStar in Belleville, I won t be going back. This location does not have the Lonestar magic anymore. There s a reason there s hardly anyone there anymore. This place used to be packed on weekends and now it s nearly empty. Over the last few years the service has declined drastically and has kept us from going. We tried again recently over the last month to just be met with terrible service and to be disappointed again. I do love the food at LoneStar and I ll be happy to go to other locations, but Belleville has become a complete disappointment.

Extremely expensive and low quality food. Extremely lack luster service. Another waiter ended up taking over because our server went to cater a bigger table.

Couldn t enjoy my meal. First, my food was burnt around the edges. $80 for burnt food. Second, the music was terrible and way too loud. The mix was country, pop, rock and grunge. Not good. Third, it was cooler outside than it was inside. They had turned off the AC in 30 degree weather! We were fanning ourselves with menus. I have no idea how the staff could work in that. They even had windows could open, but were not open. We won t be returning to this location.

The food is honestly so bland and basic its laughable how much they charge. However, the service was beyond expectations. Neither of us complained when our steaks were overcooked but the staff took them off to be made correctly on his insistence after seeing them himself. Not sure Id go again, but he deserves a raise, such an amazing employee. If I ran their restaurant Id be so proud to have him working for me.

Absolutely love the decor! Cowboy boots and hats on the wall, lovely tables ! Absolutely amazing food.

Meal was just ok. Garlic shrimps were awesome. Found the pico and salsa needed some seasoning plus the quantity was a bit sad. Double would have been better. Triple would have been nice. Rice was pretty good. My wifes chicken was a bit dry. Fried peppers and onions were great and plentiful. Why is the only sauce available on the table hot and hotter? Requested a medium heat sauce and got nothing. Server was pretty good. Parking: Lots of spots close to the restaurant. Kid-friendliness: Seemed pretty good. The table of early twenties or late teens at the next table loudly dropping the f bomb every second word did not thrill us or the young family on the other side of us. Lots of looks from staff but no one went to talk to them. Not classy.

We went here on a date night. The food was excellent, we got all you can eat fajitas. The service was very very slow, we were there late and there was maybe 2 other tables in the whole restaurant and it took almost half an hour just for a drink, 20 minutes to get more tortillas so we could eat our fajitas. The servers were very pleasant though and the food was very delicious, Im sure we will go back again but hopefully they can speed up the service a little bit.

We attended this evening for a birthday dinner. The restaurant was not busy in the slightest. We were seated quickly, our serve came over about 10 minutes after we were seated. Took our drink order, came back with our drinks, took our meal order and never came back. Tables that arrived after us were served their food and we still had not received our meals or even had her come to check in. To add - we had our 2 year old who was very well behaved. After 50 minutes of sitting with no meals and no waitress; we ultimately left. 0/5 stars Lone Star used to be a favourite for us - after this experience, it s a hard pass.

Ordered off uber eats. Big Rig Burrito and 710ml Corona. Arrived without the Beer. Uber Driver was nice enough to return, and remind them of beer. Returned. Opened up food, my Burrito was nothing but beans and rice. No beef cheese or salsa, missing ico de gallo & lime crema topping. Since my sides were rice and beans. Basically i had a tray of rice beans and a tortilla. Called lonestar. Very nice/ helpful lady did some investigating, couldnt find an explanation. But talked me through having tonuse uber eats to get refund, if i wasnt able to come get a new correct dish. After that, i used uner refund to reorder this time with fries on side. Order came. Burrito was still missing ico de gallo & lime crema topping, and no salsa, and if queso was in there, must have been very little. But it did have beef this time, and was much better. Side of fries were very stingy in size, and undercooked. I understand its take out, so wasnt expecting 10/10, but not 0/10. The free chocolate dessert they sent on the first order, not sure why not on second? Was absolutely delicious tho. And the Corona was cold and delicious. Spending 50 bucks for this, when i could have just went to McDonalds and got better food is very disappointing. Everytime ive ate at a location, its always been awesome. So i just will never order takeout again. Thanks again to the nice lady on the phone. Very professional.

$100 for two, definitely would not recommend. Burger was generic, dry, flavorless, better to just go to Wendys. Shrimp fajitas were tasty but for the price definitely not worth it. Chips and queso: queso was cold, flavorless; every single chip we were served was a broken crumble mess. Service was fantastic, dragonfruit margarita was good. Bathrooms were clean. If you want a quick drink or need to use the loo, definitely recommend. Would not recommend for dinner.

The wings were the smallest Ive ever seen or had. The price was rediculous for those tiny bones.

I went there by myself. 1 pint and fajitas and my bill was 60 dollars! I asked the waiter and he agreed it was astronomical. Worst part was I got a small(but tasty) steak with noting but half an onion and a few strips of peppers with miniscule amounts of toppings for that amount. I wish google had a star rating for value and allow a ZERO to be selected. Waste of money 100%. Ive been to lone stars in the US and even with exchange it cost me 30CAD for the exact same meal.

Ordered a vegetarian bowl. Instead of chicken, threw on a couple of cold soggy full head pieces of broccoli. Rice was cold too. Never received our first bowl of chips either. Food felt very rushed. Our antojitos appetizer was cold and soggy too.

We very much enjoyed our latest visit to Lone Star Belleville. Food was delicious with great portion sizes. We were stuffed by the time we were done. Santana, our server went above and beyond to make our visit special. She made sure to find me pickles for my burger when I inquired about them. Great service like that is hard to come by these days and I m very appreciative of it. Thank you so much!

We arrived at 9:15 on Saturday and they already had the restaurant closed and asked if we were ok with a high top in the bar (only option). Once sat, we waited 15 minutes and still hadn t been acknowledged or had our drink order taken; though staff repeatedly walked past our table. Very disappointed.

02 25 2024 Came here for dinner, had one guy take our drink order, another guy take our food order, a woman deliver our food and no one coming by to ask how the food was. I had the fajitas, honestly you get way more for your money if you go to Montanas and its tastier

Great food as always. Definantly noticed the increased price and smaller portions, some things that used to be included that didnt seem to come this time.

My wife and I celebrated my birthday there for dinner, we thought we give it another try. Well it was not good. My wife had ribs and wings, it wings where so small and the ribs the small. Mine was spicy chicken sandwich which there was more bread than chicken. Both meals where not very warm. I had a couple beers and my wife had 3 wines. Wow over a $150.00. We are not complainers but over $40.00 for wine I should of bought a bottle. We do go to a lot of restaurants and this by far not good. Thanks two strikes your out. Parking: Good parking.

Giving a 1 star as the waitress was excellent. Very attentive and bright and even took off the aweful nachos from the bill however the guy who brought my food threw it down on the table while I had food literally in my mouth. Piled the stuff right in front of me seemed like he was rushing although the restaurant was not busy by any means. (I assume he s the manager as he was wearing a blue button up and glasses) The nachos btw were absolutely trash should really look to update those because they were cold and literally stuck together with hardened cheese. Won t be back piper arms can have my money if that s the service that is to be expected

Poor service, screaming kids, felt like we were at Chuck E Cheese. Did not get the food we ordered. Poor management. Their hot wings were milder than Franks. Condiments were not placed on table. Poor beer selection.

We always have a great time at this Lone Star. Recently had Smoke as our server and he was awesome!! The food is always decent, drinks are refreshing, and the tortillas and salsa is the best. Thanks! Cant wait to visit again.

Over priced for the quality

Food was cold, dry and tasteless, and over priced. Cleanliness was less then desirable, The staff were friendly at least.

Food is fine. Antijitos arent made like theyre supposed to. Next to no filling, most pieces are flat when theyre supposed to be a pinwheel, and the cost doesnt justify it at all.

Reliable Lonestar eats, vhips and salsa,free refills, tasty but slightly greasy/oily offerings. Server was excellent, hist definitely didnt want to be there.

Had a couple of appetizers and some great tequila in the bar area. The pickle coleslaw was tasty as well as the mashed potato. They have a wide range of tequilas. They also have great specials on currently. Service was great, and we had multiple servers check in to make sure we were doing good. Washrooms were very clean. Located close to the quinte mall.

Lonestar has really been quite good the last few times I have been there. It had been a while as I had a few bad experiences with waiting for so long in the past. Definitely much better now and the last few visits.

I went to Lone Star yesterday with four other individuals. When we first got there it was not busy in the slightest. However there was still around five people waiting to be seated. We were told it would be a 20 minute wait and for what?? Anyways we sat patiently for probably 25-30 minutes until we were seated. We sat there for a solid ten minutes until we were greeted by a server who was quite unorganized and seemed like he had no idea what he was doing. We ordered drinks which as well took again like 10 minutes. Afterwards to make it even worse it took probably thirty minutes until we were able to order. When we ordered it took probably forty five minutes until the food finally came out and it cold. Saying I am disappointment is an understatement. A restaurant I would usually give four or five stars to has become a restaurant I could simply never recommend to anyone. The management is brutal and the servers are simply not qualified. If I could ve give 0 Stars I would.

Went for a late lunch yesterday and was very disappointed. The restaurant was empty and the service was incredibly slow. The amount of time we waited between ordering our drinks and our food was very unreasonable. However, it was start of a new shift so we tired to be patient. Then our food took a long time and when it finally did come out most of it was cold and you could tell it had been sitting under the heat lamps for a while. We were there for soo long and most of our time was spent waiting. Im hoping this was a new years day holiday on off.

Great food but very noisy.

Typically I enjoy my meals and time here. But with our last visit they seem to be out of almost every beverage I asked for. I tried to order the brisket sandwich and they were out of that as well. We made the best of it and enjoyed our meal.

We usually like going there as a family when we visit Belleville on vacation ....yesterday there was a total of 6 cars in parking lot !!! and apparently they couldnt take a family of 3 ! Cider was our server for the night and she was great. Friendly, cheerful and suggested a great appetizer. Service was quick without being pushy and the food was great. Bought a meal for 2. Missing the chips to go with the salsa. No cutlery.(happened last time too) Fortunately the food is good.

Tacos had nothing to do with being a taco. A big wet tortilla with a mountain of iceberg lettuce, one thin strip of chickon, a strip of bacon and some kind of crazy sauce. I couldnt even pick it up. Sent it back.

We are avid Lonestar goers, usually in Kingston. Food is usually fast and pretty standard across the board. On our visit this afternoon at the Belleville location, our food took over 45 minutes to come to the table, and we had no check ins from our waiter, even though we were out of drinks and chips. It seemed like he may of been on break with no coverage? When he was there, he was quite efficient. We had fajitas, and I ordered chimichurri, but it was not chimichurri. I sent it back twice. When he took it the second time, he let me know that it changes day to day, based on the person who made it in the morning. But this was more like balsamic dressing! He did take it off our bill. Overall, Im not sure we would visit this location again.

The food was good. However, we were not notified of any surcharge for the sides we were offered. Also the portion size seems to have been smaller than previously. We likely will not return.

This is our fourth time going here. The food each and every time has been cold. Service is OK, but it seems the price has gone way up and the portion and quality has greatly decreased. Ordered the fajitas for 2, and they came out Luke warm and not sizzling as they should. Sent it back and still got it back Luke warm. For the price one pays for the food, I expect it, at the very least to be hot. Think this is the end of our time at Lonestar, well at least in Belleville.

Good food at a reasonable price was accompanied by good service . Easy to access from the highway.

Went recently to celebrate my sons birthday, was not impressed with the food, or the service. Would not recommend for any celebration dinners and would only visit again for the patio.

Our gymnastics team was in town for a competition and we booked at the Lone Star for approximately 30 people. They offered us a fajita buffet which was fantastic. The service was wonderful and they could not have been more accommodating for our large group. The food and drinks were excellent and overall it was a great experience. Thanks so much to everyone at Lone Star - this will be our go-to place in Belleville now!!

We waited about 20 minutes to be acknowledged by a server and the service was very slow throughout our time there. The food was okay, but not worth the wait. The employees were pleasant, but overall, I would not recommend coming here if you re looking for a quick and easy dining experience. We hope Lone Star Belleville is able to grow and learn to serve better in the future!

Very nice place to eat open and spacious waitresses were very nice and professional. The menu looks huge. Lots of wonderful selection it seems. I ordered the fajita platter and the little side dish of toppings that they gave me wasnt quite a for the way I think fajitas are built... Was really interesting to see that they had the machine to make their own flatbreads for such a item right in house. Definitely need bigger portions of salsa with your introductory chip nibbler plate. That being said the salsa on that play was actually fresh-made on the premises and very well done. Better and more manageable than store-bought. Price is fair ....oriented into any type of person including children and families singles groups etc. Really big parking lot. Didnt really notice about handicapped doors access it was kind of dark.

Loved our Quesadillas, but would love to have a great hot sauce that is not tangy, but hot in taste.

I ordered a Caesar wrap with grilled chicken and in the wrap had a piece of brown lettuce. It disgusted me out and I never finished the meal. I noticed that in the first half of the wrap. The waiter was nice and understanding. He offered our table great service. I ve never had an issue with any other Lone Star location.

Made reservations online and when we arrived it took them a few minutes to figure it out our seating. Then once seated didn t see any staff for at least 5 minutes then when someone went by we asked if our table had been assigned. I believe it may have been the manager we were speaking to, she was very hospitable and got us drinks and nachos right away and said out server would be by. He did come, didn t introduce himself and we experienced continued slow service for the rest of the time we were there The ladies washroom was also in need of attention. The one tap was not useable and the garbage was overflowing

Went with wife and 3 young children. We were seated right away. However waited 10+ minutes for waitress to come over to greet and when she did she said she would be a minute. Asked 2 times for nachos and salsa before actually getting them. Overall waitress was brutal and unorganized. Other customers she had were seen rolling eyes and upset with service. My #1 complaint however is that the servers go right from the dining room to the tortilla machine without washing or wearing gloves. I brought it to the managers attention and he made then reluctantly start to wear gloves. This is disappointing as the food is delicious but the tortillas are essentially unsanitary to eat. 2 of my 3 kids are sick and puking now the day following our visit. Coincidence (possibly). Either way this is the second time I have went there and observed this taking place. Both times brought to the same managers attention to have him enforce hygiene standards only due to a complaint. This is unacceptable. Very disappointing as this is one of our favourite go to restaurants when dining in Belleville

We went there for the ribs. Every time I go there I am never disappointed. They are delicious and come in 6 flavor choices. The atmosphere is great, the service impeccable. The outdoor terrace is great. Parking: Behind the Quinte Mall shopping center

The only thing that really bothered me was watching a waitress (not ours) take another order at a table of 4 and all she could do was chew her gum between questions. Gum chewing should not be allowed in any establishment where customer service is the main focus ibknow my daughter worked at a grocery store as a teen and that wad the first thing they were told when everyone was hired, NO GUM CHEWING while your working.

This was our first time in a very long time, (10+ years), since weve been to a Loan Star Texas Grill restaurant. The atmosphere and appearance was pretty much what we expected. What we didnt expect was the lack of staff? Mind you it was a Wednesday night around 9:15pm, but still!? We had to wait quite a while for someone to appear to even seat us. However, once seated our server was very pleasant and attentive. Our meals came quite quickly and were very good. Our only disappointment was with the high prices. I had the Fish Taco, and an ice tea, my wife had the Cripy Shrimp Tacos, & a glass of water, and the bill with tip was $60!!!! We werent expecting prices like this! Which unfortunately will make us think twice before choosing Loan Star Texas Grill again.

Finally treated better. They were ignoring people at the door. I think it may have something to do with new manager chips! If it is; then they finally got someone who cares. Secondly they have a fantastic waitress during the week called Savana. A young girl at the door was also great on Sunday. She spent the time to share all info on the new products even though we were not really interested but she was so good at it being chipper and just so joyful we had to listen. Other managers really do not make you feel welcome etc. The new one is great - even the wait staff think she is very good at being inspiring and also always happy! The fellow manager used to stand at door like a lump and took more interest at making sure the TVs were on than seating. That should have been done BEFORE the doors opened so that since he was in the area - he could have sat us without the drama which I then created. I have walked out in the past when no one greats us. I believe they owe that to us and a Hello with NO excuses. A thank you out the door is nice too. Basically it is the School of The Mandarin 101.

Had Montana as a waitress, she was friendly and very efficient. Food is always awesome there, we had the fajitas for 2 with steak, chicken and some ribs. Didnt have to wait for seating or food. Highly recommend! Enjoy the covered outdoor patio with various seating and even heaters for spring and fall Parking: Lots of space for parking Kid-friendliness: They treat kids excellent, they have different chairs available and crayons ect.

Come on in if you prefer your overpriced burnt streak seasoned with bug faeces as fruit fly s swarm you while your wait 10 minutes for utensils.. curly fries were okey. I recommend dining at the patio.. less insects out there

Service was excellent but we were there early. Food took long time to arrive. Chips and salsa excellent as always freshly cooked there. My shrimp tacos good but cold. Hubby sandwich minced not sliced pork cold and tasteless, but they prepared him a chicken sandwich, which he said was great. Kudos to staff

Came in and ordered the fajitas to go, as we have done a few times. Then went and sat at the bar, which was swarming with fruit flies. The rim salt, and sugar was left out and uncovered near where it had been splashed or sprayed while making drinks and was clumpy Drinks were fine, but when our food was ready it just sat upfront until we decided to check and leave instead of being brought to us or us being made aware when it had been finished. When we got it back all that was in was just fajitas, no beans, rice or anything else that comes with the dish typically, and it had sat so long without us being aware the lettuce was soggy and brown, the cheese had formed an oily blob and the food was cold. No biggie I can throw it in a pan. The chicken was still pink in the center of several of the slices. So not only did I need to warm my food I needed to finish cooking it as well. Typically Lonestar is a solid experience but this will keep me from going back to the Belleville location for a long while. Nothing to do with service, the staff was all great when we interacted.

my family went there with friends last long weekend, we had a great dinner at the restaurant after spending the whole day on the beach, excellent food and service! steak, ribs, and beer are so good!

Great food , great ambience. coming from Toronto it felt great to be served and treated so well even while I was there almost at the closing time. A must try for all those who come to explore this beautiful town.

My boyfriend and I came to sit on the patio for an early meal and drink with our 4 month old son. Firstly, I don t like leaving bad reviews but it was quite disappointing. We got our chips and drinks (only appetizing part) and ordered our food. The man delivering the food didn t know what table the food was going to to begin with. My boyfriends fries were absolutely cold and gross. My taco salad was nothing to spectacular, but the unusual part was the waitress left the cold fries there after she gave him new ones. She didn t clear the empty drinks and was quite slow. We also waited a long time for our change after paying the bill, which personally was ridiculous for the quality. The waitress and other staff were just standing inside talking and she handed my boyfriend a wack load of change. Hire staff that knows what they are doing and have customer service. This is our last time attending this restaurant, and personally I find all Lone Star restaurants are this horrible.

The ribs werent bad. They were not over cooked and mushy... the slaw was different, but I liked. The salad left a lot to be desired. But all in all not too bad for canadian bbq. I would go again.

Went for a late lunch today, horrible service. Waited at least 30 minutes for the food, lettuce was soggy, bun was soggy, plates were HOT from sitting on the warmer for god knows how long. Asked for water. It never arrived. A few of us had nothing to drink after our first drink. No one checked up on us, did give us a refill for child and had to input it in the system before serving it to us (already waited long enough). Wont be back. Over priced. No tip.

Party of 11. Food was cold.even the fajitas tray wasn t even sizzling. All our bills were WRONG ,Had to ask numerous times for side condiments . The restaurant was empty Call to complain manager hostess was argumentative. Said she spoke to me. NO she did not . Horrible experience if I could give minus 1 for food. I would. We ate dinner here during busy dinner hours. Our server Smoke, was very engaging, had great fun energy and very knowledgeable on the menu. His service made out experience memorable. The food was delicious as were the drinks, but smoke is definitely the reason for this review! Great job and thank you for the great experience!

Honestly, everything was good, but what sold me on this place was our waiter, he was amazing. He sat and listened to us chat for a minute, it felt more personal than usual restaurants.

Food was not hot, not even warm, it took 45mins to get our lunch with 5 tables. The waitress was more interested in serving her friends than us.

Went in for lunch earlier this week, prices are ridiculous. My wife had 2 fish tacos, I had a brisket sandwich along with 2 pints of beer and Bill came to $65.00. Will never go back! There are many other restaurants that have reasonable prices.

Food is pretty good - nothing exciting, but pretty good. Friendly, comfortable place, always good service. Nice patio for summer days.

The steak and broccoli were so salty they could not be eaten. Mentioned to the nice server and he said they salt in bags in morning to prepare but never a real recipe is followed. Both of our meals were way to salty. The portions are of course much smaller than they used to be. A real shame as we enjoyed LoneStar so much before Dietary restrictions: Dont eat here if you have high blood pressure. Sodium amount will kill you

Great location. Friendly staff. Lots of free parking. Food was fresh and hot. No complaints except that it was understaffed today and we saw other tables leave after waiting 10 minutes and no service. We stayed and our server was very appreciative. He gave us free guacamole so patience paid off. Hope they fix the staffing issues because the food is the best Tex Mex with their fresh homemade shells. Kid-friendliness: Family friendly.

Wasnt busy at all, but took over 45 minutes to get our food without a peep out of the server, 10 person group showed up and was seated beside us midway way through and all her attention was to then I think.. I like lonestar so I gave them 4 but not great time.

Table was very sticky. Selection of beer was very small for a big chain. My water glass has a bunch of things on the outside. Definitely not clean and unnoticed by staff. Asked about Ciders, ordered 1 of the ones the manager told our server they had to then be told they didnt have any. Server was good and food was good. The manager contacted me about the review and offered to try fix with a gift card and then stopped responding after offer was made. Went and spent over $300 at Shoeless Joes the next week. Manager messaged to try make it up to us and then never responded to my reply.

This place is never busy and after visiting a few times I finally realized why.. the food isnt great and tends to be overpriced for the quality.
