Ordered a poutine, it was amazing! A little spicy but I'm weak. The young man at the counter was so pleasant, to my partner and I, as well as everyone who walked through the door. It was nice to see a young person be so jovial, solid customer service skills! Maybe have a little Portuguese music for atmosphere.
The young man working had exceptional customer service skills! I ordered the chicken combo - medium spiced which comes with a chicken leg (drum and thigh) rice, fries, and a salad. Everything was great, but the chicken really stood out. It was so flavourful and tender and you could taste the flame grill. All for only $10 I was very impressed. Also don’t skip out on the Natas, I immediately wanted to go back for more.
Incredible! We ordered the piri piri bowl, the chicken poutine and the Pastel de nata. The portions were huge! One bowl is only $10 and is enough to share between two people. My top choice was the piri piri bowl, which I would absolutely order again. I haven't tried the Pastel De Nata yet but I'm looking forward to it. The poutine had an excellent aioli-like sauce that was fantastic. I would certainly recommend this place!
I just came back from the Belleville grand opening. Ahh everything was so top notch!😍 the vibe of the restaurant, the interiors, the employees, and the FOOD🤤. The food was the highlight of my night! Such a filling bowl for just $5! I loved the quality of their chicken and their food presentation!😍 Had such a wonderful time! The thing i loved most was that even though they were really busy with customers, they still put the best kind of customer service forward!👏 They were so professional and greeted everyone so amazingly! Especially, this one cashier Pradeep was the most polite and his smile was the glue holding everything together🥰 his service and dedication really was so amazing! Even at difficult times i observed him handling everything with so much resilience and professionalism!♥️ all in all, such an amazing night, made beautiful by such an awesome restaurant! I wish best of luck for this new venture’s journey ahead🥰
I saw this place online and thought it looked good so had pretty high expectations at the start. These guys still beat them!! Fresh and tasty food made quick to order. Loved the stuff the French fries are tossed in and the dipping sauce. The bowls and the chicken are delicious as well!

This new open restaurant Monteiro is hands down the best spot for Portuguese chicken in Belleville! The flavors are incredible—perfectly marinated and grilled to perfection. Girl does not understand English. Have to tell her too many times. Chicken was Not fresh. It was well cooked but was cool proving that food was not fresh. Been there several times. Usually good but I do not deserve yesterday chicken.
I stopped there first time to checkout the store yesterday afternoon. Cashier girl provided her great customer service and I ended up trying piri piri bowl.. worth to try I would recommend my friends definitely. Good food, good team, good price

The food was very fresh and large portions, GREAT meal for the price I had the chicken combo with double protein, rice, fries and salad. I would prefer no sauce on my chicken next time and to ask for the salad on the side but all in all great meal. Food

Heard about this new halal offering in Belleville and had to try it. However, the experience was disappointing. Walked in and stood for a good 7 mins before was even looked at. The lobby looked messy and the kitchen, which is clearly visible looked like a disaster. Started second guessing my decision to eat here. Then the girl who could barely speak English came to take my order. No greeting, just started with what would you like. Took the order correct but didn t pick the right flavours. Food was prepared rather quickly. But quality was ok. Maybe we are just so used to the big Portuguese chain. They need to really clean up the place and make it pleasant.

I recently tried the Monteiro sandwich with fries and the egg tart, and I loved every bite! The sandwich was deliciously crafted, with perfect flavors and textures. The fries were crispy and made a great side. The egg tart was a delightful finish rich and creamy. Highly recommend this place!

I ordered the family meal because it was affordable. They made it fast. The service was good. However, the food (chicken, fries, rice, sauce, salad) was not authentic traditional portuguese style and the taste wasnt either so its very misleading.
Chiken bowl with rice are really good. Keep it up guys.
Great prices for food and food is good
This is my 3rd time purchasing food here coming from Trenton. I ordered 4 chicken combos. Instead of 4 chicken combos I received 4 piri bowls. I hate beans and because their piri bowls have beans in them I called the store and asked if we can come by to exchange my bowl. It takes about 25 minutes to get there and I made the call at around 8:40PM. I assumed that since the mistake was on their end they would accommodate and wait 5 minutes to correct their mistake, however they said they wouldn t be able to. Now that food is just going to end up in the garbage, and I wasted my time and money. Customer service sucks. Only the girl knows how to provide good customer service at this store. The guy who was working today sucks. Good luck to him getting by in customer service with his nasty attitude. Lost this business a customer now because of his lack of care.
I ordered from Monterio today, and it was great. The staff was friendly, and my chicken combos and Monterio sandwich were tasty. The chicken was crispy and tender, and the sandwich had awesome flavor. Portions were big, and everything was hot. Definitely recommend for good food and service!

What a phenominal grand opening chicken dinner meal for $5!! Wow was it ever good! Every staff I encountered was very friendly and eventhough working very hard still very kind! You must try this place!! We will return for sure!!
