Poke A Bowl in Belleville

This is something I never thought I would like or even try until my daughter brought it over one day. I ve been back a few times since and thought I would pass along how it can be a little bit confusing or intimidating, but the fresh ingredients and variety that you can choose on your own is amazing. Delicious and I just follow the guide on the menu. Makes it easy.!!

Worst customer service ever. They are charging for almost everything dont swap items, and they are extremely rude. Charged me 75 cent for this little sauce.

I came here because there was so many good reviews however the portion was really small, personal were not friendly at all and somehow they did not like to serve me!! If there was way to give less than 1 star I would do it.

Food is excellent especially the shrimp bowl.

Ordered the Wasabi Ahi Tuna bowl and my kids had the Classic Salmon. Tasted both and it was amazing, everything you are expecting in a poke bowl. The tuna one is a bit Spice but just perfectly balanced with the othed flavours. Everything was very fresh. The place itself doesnt look like much but dont let that fool you, food was great and prices were reasonnable! Would definitely go again!

My go to dinner spot. Its so good and so filling. I had to force myself to not get one for lunch the next day. I dont recommend getting their mochi icecream tho. Its a store bought brand that you can get at the grocery store across the street for way cheaper. Vegetarian options: Many non-meat based protein items such as sweet potato.

Made my first visit to Poke A Bowl today with a friend of mine (todays photographer) and Im extremely happy that I did. Poke A Bowl came recommended from the boyfriend of one of her coworkers and I can see why; the bowls are DELICIOUS. I ordered the Rainbow Bowl with a sushi rice base while she chose the Build Your Own Bowl option, also with a sushi rice base. The Rainbow Bowl was fantastic; spicy, savory and with enough Wasabi mayo to have me breathing clearly through both nostrils despite it being -20°C, right now. Her build-your-own featured shrimp, spicy salmon and mango chunks among other ingredients and was a sweeter, smoother bowl than my spicy/crunchy one. The person working the counter was very pleasant and assembled our bowls quickly. The restaurant has seating for 15-16 people, though I think most of their business is probably take-out, so you should be able to get a seat. Will absolutely be returning for another visit. Next time I think Ill be trying the octopus! Vegetarian options: Plenty of vegetarian and vegan ingredient options, including the Vegan Bowl on their Signature Bowls list. Parking: Parking is available through the Burger King parking lot just next door, possibly a spit or two behind the building as well.

Perfect for a quick stop on a road trip. So fresh and tasty. The value was amazing, allowing you to pick a generous amount of toppings.

Always fresh with warm rice and delicious toppings. Great for when you have a sushi craving but want to feel healthy. The combination of all the different veggies, toppings and sauces creates a wonderful meal full of different textures and flavors. One bowl is easily enough for 2 of my meals, very filling while never feeling unhealthy.

First time going there and absolutely loved it! I tried the build-a-bowl menu and it was amazing! Fresh ingredients, perfectly cooked rice, and wonderful customer service. Upon entering the lady asked us if we had been there before, and then explained how the menu works when we said we hadn t been, which was super friendly and helpful! This place totally saved my Valentine s date :)) definitely going back!

My first time here and first time to visit this type of restaurant. Outside appearance is Asian, Poke made us think fish, we re visiting and want to try something different . I was blown away by the flavor and quality never would have guessed what was offered think Sushi meets Subway! We tried 2 of their signature bowls, Ahi Tuna and Salmon, both were excellent. The bowl starts out with your choice of rice, add fresh veggies, fish, sauces, toppings let them build one for you or direct the process yourself subway style; Fantastic!

Service was fast, food was fresh just like they say! Food is always good, pricey but for the amount you get and as long as you don t overload your bowl with extra stuff it usually comes out below 17 perfect lunch spot!

Ordered the wasabi ahi tuna bowl on skip several times now and it s incredible! Their service is speedy (delivery doesn t take more than 10-15 minutes every time), the food is made and packaged with care, the portion sizes are big, and not to mention the food itself is delicious. The tuna melts in your mouth, and all the ingredients are so fresh!! 10/10 one of my favourite places to eat <3

The person who made my poke bowl was very fast and didn t take their time, resulting in uneven portions. Next time, they should take their time and fill the box properly. Especially since i gave 20$ for one box.

A good vegetarian option in a town that lacks them, two vegetarian bowls available. Both vegetarian options were very tasty. Just wish there was a little more food in the bowl.

Update: We did go back and I m reducing the 5 stars to 4 because they put less spicy mayo in my bowl and then charged me for the extra I asked for didn t appreciate it. Also I get the total being rounded up on a cash payment but when did it become okay to round up the total on a credit card payment? 2023 July 31st: very disappointed with the quality of the brown rice in my bowl. It smelled and tasted stale with lots of uncooked grains of rice that could ve chipped a tooth. I hope this is addressed as we are regulars and love the food. Loved the food!!! We had three different bowls (all custom - salmon, spicy salmon, spicy chicken) and they were all so delicious!!! Also a generous amount of food. Online ordering was easy and efficient. Service was great - the woman behind the counter was very friendly and kind. Veggies we re so fresh. We will definitely be back and look forward to trying different bowl combinations. Parking can be tricky, there are more spots in behind the restaurant. We got takeout. Vegetarian options: Plenty of vegetarian options. Dietary restrictions: They have so many options - you can even have mixed greens or sweet potato for your bowl base (instead of rice) - love that!

Excellent poke place. We first had poke years ago on Oahu and nothing we have found in North America has come close to that quality until finding Poke A Bowl. Ill be stopping by here for lunch every time Im in Belleville.

The Salmon and Ever green bowls were tasty and filling. The ingredients are fresh and well-prepared: crunchy onion bits, tender edamame, crisp cucumber, rice cooked perfectly. The sauces are flavourful and the portions are good. Better than my experience with the bowls from other takeout places in town. Will be ordering it regularly.

There are very generous portions that perfectly support the price point, with lots of toppings. Love the option to be able to build your own, if you re not feeling like a signature bowl.

It was fantastic! How can they take a greasy burger joint and turn it into fresh deliciousness?? IDK but they did! I have had poke (pronounced POKE-KAY ) bowls over the years in a variety of places in North America, so I was very happy but guarded that there was a new place on the main street in Belleville. I tried it for lunch last week and it was fantastic! I ordered the Dynamite Bowl, and from the first bite to the last, I loved it! Cant wait to go back and try something else!

Since moving to Ottawa/ON from out west, we have not had Poke this good for a loonggg time. Friendly staff, clean updated environment, food superb. (Make your own, spicy salmon & Tuna, with sushi rice + veggies and toppings. The only thing I d suggest is to offer Pickled red onions vs raw red onions for a milder approach! Will be coming back tomorrow while in town

Been getting the bowls here more times than I can count. Quick service, good prices and delicious fresh seafood/food! Not to mention good portion sizes. One of my favorite places to get takeout in Belleville.

If I could give this place more than 5 stars I would! I got the evergreen bowl with spicy salmon added and wow was it ever good and so filling. I was also in and out on 2 minutes. Amazing service!

We have had poke bowls in many places in our travels. Poke a Bowl in Belleville is among the best. Tasty, fresh ingredients, and the ability to make our own combinations, will keep my wife and I coming back.

The online order process was nice and simple. The food was ready when we arrived. It was really fresh, the crunchy bits were crunchy and there was a good spread of fish and vegetables. The sauce amount was also very good and the rice was tasty. Also, its packed really tight in that container, you get a lot and it lasted two meals for me. Everyone at home really liked it too!

Appreciate the staff who helped us decide which bowl to choose considering all options looks delicious! Place is clean.

absolutely amazing! i was in a bit of a hurry so I asked the lady who was working what she recommended or what was most popular. I ended up ordering the dragon bowl. It was amazing. Sushi rice topped with loads of veggies, a fair amount of protein and enough sauces to leak into the rice, I will be back for soon!

Thank you, thank you, thank you, for providing a vegan option! There are almost no vegan options here, especially when ordering food to be delivered. Most of the veggie options are great for people who dont eat meat but they are almost always full of dairy. I cannot have it or other things for medical reasons. So to finally have a quick easy vegan option is amazing. Especially since its also a huge serving and tastes wonderful! I got the vegan bowl with sweet potato base and its perfect. Will definitely be purchasing again and recommend to others! :)

My partner and I got Poke bowls yesterday and they were absolutely amazing. He isn t a sushi lover, so got the spicy chicken bowl on brown rice loaded with veggies which he said was delicious. I got the salmon poke bowl and it was also delicious. They add the perfect amount of sauces and toppings. All of the ingredients were so fresh. Super reasonably priced for fresh ingredients and amazing flavours. Can t wait to come back!

What a surprise! We LOVE Poke bowls! Noticed their sign when in Belleville today and stopped in for takeout lunch! Absolutely delicious and just as good as we enjoyed in Santa Cruz, California! We will be back!!

Went here because of the high rating. No wonder everybody gave 5 star - all ingredients are fresh, big portion, friendly service. Rice is cooked perfectly and not the same as those cheap quality rice you get from the chinese restaurant in town. I ordered tuna rice and I am surprised there are lots of tuna, it paired perfectly with their wasabi mayo sauce. A must try. Highly recommended. Will return for sure whenever in town.

OH. MY. GOD. So nice to have something other than another burger joint in belleville!!! If you like sushi but you dont like the price of sushi - then this place is for you! The picture is of a build your own bowl. I chose spicy tuna, sushi rice, broccoli, carrots, cabbage, avocado, crispy onions, crab meat, sweet soy, house ginger dressing, sriracha and sesame seeds. The serving was large enough for left overs; but I liked it so much I couldnt resist finishing it all.

I love this place because sushi is my favourite food but I can t afford to buy enough sushi to feed myself normally so this works much better. You can choose from different kinda of rice and vegetables and sauces and it s all customized to whatever you want in it. The fish and vegetables have been fresh every time I have been there When I had the spicy salmon it was really good but if you are wanting it to be spicy, mine was not. I couldn t tell the difference from the regular kind so it might be best to use sauces if you want it spicy Highly recommend

They re deserving of five star ratings: the wasabi ahi tuna bowl was packed with oh so fresh, delicious goodness. From the generous spring mix base to plump edamame, crunchy cucumber and crispy wonton bits to perfectly seasoned seaweed and zippy wasabi + spicy mayo. Tuna was tender and fresh. Why can t I get this in Brockville :/ Will be coming back every chance I get.
