Rosemary & Thyme in Belleville

This restaurant delivered overcooked shortbread cookies (dry) very dry. I ordered my Christmas order of mince meat tarts and whipped shortbread cookies weeks ago and I get overcooked shortbread cookies and I don t know what you mean mincemeat tarts never heard you order that. Well I checked my Order twice with this place to make sure they were right on it and it would be ready for pick up by the 23 of December and this is what we received dry overcooked Christmas cookies and not the whipped kind I ordered. I also did not receive the tarts ordered weeks ago. If I could give a zero I would. Ann K

Best place to go in Belleville for homemade food!!!

Everything is tasty here. Great daily soups, salads, sandwiches and excellent hot dishes. Kid-friendliness: Always acknowledge children and offer a treat.

My favourite spot for a quality take out meal. Great assortment of sandwiches and salads for lunch and delicious hot meals for dinner each day of the week. And lots of fresh cookies, tarts, muffins for dessert!

My new go-to place for home cooked food when I can t do it myself (which is getting more frequent since I found them!) Their motto is Thanks for not cooking but it s me who should be thanking them for giving me an excuse not to!

Absolutely amazing food and service. Whenever I come to town and visit my grandma, she is sure to have a few meals ready to go for the week from Rosemary and Thyme! This mornings breakfast was an orange and carrot muffin - a lovely morning treat from here.

This beautiful little shop of soul food was a breath of fresh air during our heavy journey at the hospital around the corner. It s something to say when you are supporting others, whom are supporting loved ones through times of life altering health crisis. Walking in and being so welcomed, it was an atmospheric hug. The food reminded me of my grandmothers, but distinct in their own methodology. We are very grateful for being gifted this little gem. And ultimately, it s the people who run it, that makes it so special. Thank you all at Rosemary & Thyme for being a deep breath during times of stress. A true gift indeed. I dropped in today for lunch the ladies were all very friendly and welcoming. The premises was very inviting and smelled amazing. I had a delicious turkey sandwich and they gave me a free cup of tea and a cookie as it was my birthday. I will definetly be back

I have been coming here for years and have never been disappointed! The daily soups are fantastic! Try their sausage rolls, curry beef wraps, chickpea salad & ginger molasses cookies :) Vegetarian options: soups, salads, some wraps

Just a 1 for me. Service altogether is not that great. Tastes cheap for the high prices. My revenue quick and sweet. The staff.....not that great. Very rude and unkind plus for what you pay to get very little. Just save yourself money and go somewhere else. This is nothing gormet by any standards. Again, staff is horrible and rude. Even the owner is mind blowing rude. Only pretends to be nice for your money of course. And as soon as she gets your money and pay she wont even say thanks, have a good day back. Nothing. Go find out for yourself! Plus its always fresh and they lie about it.

Prices are high for what you get. I got tuna sandwich, the bread was wet..disgusting I threw it out, my husband got beef and swiss he said it was OK. We also got potato salad which was good but really expensive. No eat in area, makes it inconvenient for a quick lunch. Will not return.

Food is always delicious. If you get there in time, the salads are amazing.

Their homemade Shepherds Pie and Mac and cheese is delicious every time. Quite a few options.

The food I get (various salads, muffins, scones) is so good, I literally tear up with appreciation. Michelle is lovely and warm and friendly, and I wish I could eat from there every single day! Vegetarian options: Lots of delicious choice!

WOW! Hard to imagine this is a real place, but my very full belly is proof.. Food? Yummy, healthy, and made in house. Price? Inflation seems to have skipped right over this wonderful eatery! Service? It was like eating at a friends home. Atmosphere? What a positive place! Spontaneous break out of song, and dance for you? Happy, smiley, and chipper! I went in for food, but feel my whole soul was fed. Cant wait to get back to Belleville just for another taste.

BEST FOOD EVER!!!

I have always wanted to stop by and visit this cute and quaint place. Hungry for breakfast I was intending to go to a fast food chain. Serendipity brought me to stop right at the intersection it s located. So glad I did. They greeted me right away. Welcomed me when they found out it was my first time. Gave me the culinary tour of the food day. The breakfast burrito was my choice of breakfast. It doesn t disappoint! They custom made it to my liking. I thoroughly enjoyed the environment and the staffs energy while they worked away. I even purchased some frozen single meals for my elderly mother, so she doesn t have to cook. There were homemade shepherds, pie, macaroni and cheese, and chicken pot pie! Just throw in the oven for an hour! Affordable, convenient and let s not forget delicious! I entered as I wanted to try something new and also to support small local businesses. A must visit if you want a culinary party in your mouth! Vegetarian options: Sandwiches, soups, just let them know your preferences and they will custom make for you based on their menu and daily options Dietary restrictions: They talk to you amd help you make the best choice according to your dietary needs Parking: It s small with lots of spots Kid-friendliness: There were cute playthings in a basket for children

Delicious homemade food options to go for the family. We now try to go once a week. Staff is wonderful and friendly. Highly recommend!

We were passing through Belleville and stopped in for a late lunch. Their pre-made sandwiches were sold out, but they offered to make more up for us. We had egg salad sandwiches, soup and the BEST banana bread/cake ever. I hope I get to pass through Belleville again soon so I can go back!

Always great food

I always try and stop by when I m in the neighbourhood. Staff and owner are always so wonderful. The food is made with love and it shows! Today, I want to thank the owner and staff for their kindness and generosity. It is sincerely so appreciated

I bought a kick a** wrap today and that it was! Yum!

Today, I tried their homemade sausage rolls (a new recipe according to the owner). Fantastic -- the sausage is mild in spice and somewhat coarse in texture, reminding me of British bangers. A nice, thin pastry with a splash of some kind of sauce before baking, topped off the sausage flavour.

We stopped here while passing through Belville in early October 2021. It was exactly what I wanted, great homemade soup and sandwiches and baked goods. Well definitely seek it out next time through.

I have eaten here a couple times now. A couple take home dinners. Couple muffins. Breakfast wrap. Food is home made. Nice to get when you don t wanna cook. Most of the time the food tastes good. A couple times I have been disappointed. I wish they would have more ready made options, breakfasts, sandwiches, wraps, salads etc that you could pop in quick and grab for lunch or take home for dinner. When I first moved to Belleville they had stuff in the display case. Salads, quiches, etc that were a quick grab and go, heat at home. Now it s almost always empty. You have to be proactive and pre-order dinners. Nice alternative to cooking. I would frequent this place very often if they offered more of a deli vibe, where you could preorder things but also just grab sandwiches, soups, salads fast.

service is excellent and food is great too, price is good, just recommend if for the salad, multiple items could have different Compartment to hold, as some are sweet some are sour, mix together is not good for me.

After having a serious hankering for chicken pot pie, but having no desire to actually make it myself, I remembered that I had seen such a product at Rosemary & Thyme. I got three to feed the household and was surprised by their options. They have fresh eat-right-away type pies, as well as frozen. I got the frozen and foolishly assumed that the heft was due to the pies having been frozen. It was actually because I think they managed to pack almost half a chicken into the individual trays. They have just enough gravy in the mix to hold things together, but not so much that youd accuse them of using it as a filler. The chunks of chicken were also clearly from what I had to assume was a rotisserie style chicken because they were not the regular little cubed processed type chunks found in mass produced pies. The pies were delicious and all three of us were IMMENSELY satisified with the meal. Will def be trying the pork and apple next time a hankering hits.

How do lemon square from here one day it was so good I saved it for a couple of days

Awesome pasta and grain salads with fabulous flavoured dressings. Sandwiches and hot soup/meals are ideal to pick up and take to a friends for a decadent effort-free lunch! Topped off with an exquisite lemon square of course ;) Highly recommended!

The best little spot to grab a quick lunch or dinner!! Tons of fresh salads and sandwiches. Try the daily soup, so delicious! Very yummy home cooked style dinners ready from 4-6pm. Don t forget a dessert! Fresh chocolate chip cookies, carrot cake, lemon squares or my favourite- the cheesecake!! I m in love with this place - oh and the staff are super friendly!

Excellent food, very reasonably priced. Friendly staff and Owner. Excellent quality and quantity. Best food in belleville period. Highly recommended for everyday eating and catering. I have eaten from coast to coast in Canada and the USA, and Rosemary & Thyme gets #1 on my favorite place to eat. Excellent job Ladies.
